High Anxiety: Clinton Raises New Explanation For Lewinsky Affair

It is the one defense that Harvey Weinstein did not argue in his recent trial: I was just working out my stress. The new documentary on Hillary Clinton has been panned by many as yet another attempt to rewrite history for the Clintons. However, few expected Bill Clinton to come up with yet another explanation for the affair that led to his impeachment. Clinton explained in an interview that it was all an effort “manage my anxieties.” The problem is that his anxiety management included committing perjury as well as recently disclosed alleged witness tampering. He was of course never charged with perjury despite a court later saying that he clearly lied under oath. Of course, he would never lie to Hulu.

Clinton added that that he thought “there’s something that will take your mind off it for a while.” Of course, he also omits a long list of women who have accused him of sexual harassment, sexual assault, and rape as both Arkansas Governor and as President. That goes back decades and, with each woman, the Clintons crushed the accusers, including Hillary Clinton referring to them as “bimbos.”

None of that was apparently relevant in this “documentary” which seems like four-hour exploration of historical revisionism.

However, it must be a great anxiety reliever.

  1. Odd, he did not explain what he did to Juanita Brodrick, and Kathleen Willey, or his being friends with Weinsteiin, and Epstein plane rides.

  2. When Clinton was Governor he had a nickname: G man. Do you folks on the blog know what that refers to?
He knew where the G spot is located and had been taught how to massage it.
Women sometimes get to receive such things.
It is never discussed on the web media in America.

    1. G men are sought after by women who desire to have an orgasm. Monica had heard the news about him. She was an adult. Billy cheated on his wife. They are still married.

  3. bill Clinton lied to the country, used the oval office as his private bordello and his sociopath wife never divorced him but blamed the intern monica lewinsky for her husbands cheating.so this excuse is all bullsh**.

  4. Hmmm…..I don’t think you will find the Clinton Cure in the DSM-5. But wait!! There is a movement to legalize prostitution in the city of Washington, DC. Can prescriptions for the cure be far behind?

  5. Sadly, there are still hundreds of thousands, if not millions of women who would still jump at the chance to climb in the ring with Mr. Clinton and fall on their knees and worship him.

  6. Hillary is correct about all those women being “bimbos”. Hillary is the biggest bimbo.

A point to make here. Unless it was from the start completely without participation we have here a Fringe of prostitution. Oh, Billy boy didn’t pay em fifty dollars after the roll in the hay. But they expected something out of their sexual play. Play for trade. Monika was an adult. A hooker.

    1. Actually no, in today’s parlance this might more properly be deemed “sexual harrassment” because this is a supervisor and a subordinate.

        1. Ain’t no big deal, I’m the Queen of typos. In fact, my dictionary was erased on my old piece of a phone, so you should see the spellings I get. I added Grammarly, thanks to PCS on here, but my Grammarly goes haywire too sometimes…wonder if my phone has a bug/virus on it.

I wouldn’t worry about spellings on this blog…it would be nice of we could delete are comments, that would be a nice feature.

  7. Meanwhile, back in the real world (have we reached 15 coronavirus cases yet?)

WASHINGTON — A federal judge on Thursday sharply criticized Attorney General William P. Barr’s handling of the report by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, saying that Mr. Barr put forward a “distorted” and “misleading” account of its findings and lacked credibility on the topic.

Mr. Barr could not be trusted, Judge Reggie B. Walton said, citing “inconsistencies” between the attorney general’s statements about the report when it was secret and its actual contents that turned out to be more damaging to President Trump. Mr. Barr’s “lack of candor” called into question his “credibility and, in turn, the department’s” assurances to the court, Judge Walton said.

The judge ordered the Justice Department to privately show him the portions of the report that were censored in the publicly released version so he could independently verify the justifications for those redactions. The ruling came in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit seeking a full-text version of the report.
The differences between the report and Mr. Barr’s description of it “cause the court to seriously question whether Attorney General Barr made a calculated attempt to influence public discourse about the Mueller report in favor of President Trump despite certain findings in the redacted version of the Mueller report to the contrary,” wrote Judge Walton, an appointee of President George W. Bush….”

    1. bythebook definitely is an example of a line spoken by Robin Williams in Good Morning Vietnam: I’ve never known anyone more in need of a ……………

    2. I fully support declassifying it all. With that being said, it’s odd that Judge Walton makes allegations as if he’s seen the unredacted report and yet he’s ordering to be shown privately the unredacted report so he can independently verify it. This guy seems to be a black-robed Natacha.

    3. bythebook, that story about Barr is not in the Turley and right-wing bubble. Therefore it does not exist, shall not be written or talked about. The Dear Leader and The Chosen One has said, do not believe what your eyes and ears tell you.

  8. Of all the things the political class seems to not understand, it’s that the majority of the citizen class are very forgiving. Don’t lie. Don’t spin. Especially when the truth is obvious.

  9. Chuckles. Clinton’s a caricature. At least he’s vaguely amusing, which his ghastly wife can never be.

What’s curious about Lewinsky is how truncated her life has been since. She’s never married, never had any children, and never developed her skills in a discrete trade or career. Some of us were poleaxed she managed to cadge a post-baccalaureate degree from the London School of Economics given how stupid she seemed. She doesn’t appear to have done much with that degree. It’s all a pity.

    1. Yes her whole life post Goldberg and Clinton was “The President’s Little Blow Job Girl.” And that was it. How does she get a serious job after that???

I feel sorry for her because at 22 she may have been an adult, but not “grown up.”

      1. Most people get over age-related short-comings.

One problem she had back in the day was her mother. They had an eccentric gal pal relationship, which would have been passable had her mother been a serious person. One problem her father had was that his daughter’s entry into adult life was crucially dependent on the example set by her mother living a woman’s life, and his (estranged) wife turned out to be something of a meatball (fixated on what used to be called ‘the society pages’, for example). His own judgment was a tad questionable as well (such as hiring his pal Wm. Goldberg to represent her, even though Goldberg had a histrionic personality and actually specialized in malpractice defense). So, Monica’s had to build an adult life on less than meticulous instruction compounded with the disorientation generating by the controversy in 1997-98. She didn’t do an ace job. I think she has a brother. It would be agreeable if her parents got some grandchildren out of him.

  10. Good thing nothing important has been happening in the news and that once again our president has performed his duties perfectly and communicated with complete accuracy and candor.

“But Clinton” always gets hits I guess.

Does JT teach “Ankle Biting and the Law” at GWU?

    1. JT has gone to the sure fire way to the willful idiots brain, Hillary and ANYTHING Hillary. The Stable genius and the Chosen one is out of bounds.

  11. Well, it IS stressful trying to protect and advance the interests of the established order.

  12. He would have gotten away with it except that Lewinsky kept the blue dress with his semen on it.

  13. I still say the timing of this documentary is very odd. BTW, I think he could get a massage if wanted to deal with his high anxiety. Or pills.

    1. 10 of the last 14 Presidents have managed to cope with ‘anxiety’ without corrupting the help. Observing from a distance, we can conclude the other four were ‘anxious’ their entire adult lives.

  14. Did Clinton fly on the Lolita Express 26 times (according to FAA flight records) and rape 14 year old girls to “manage his anxieties”?

  15. Apparently that is what 22 year old interns are for.

  16. Talking about “High Anxiety” and mental problems, can you imagine Joe Biden going thru the same pressures as Bill??? Every Democrat should read the article from which this excerpt came from, by Caitlin Johnstone – link below:
And so I was saying that, and what they turned around and said, Joe Biden said, in effect, they said, that Joe Biden said that what he was told, that what, that what the white supremacists argue, that we have no problem, that our, our, our basic English jurisprudential system is not the problem. The problem is those countries like Africa and Asia and those places, they’re the reason why we have all these problems. So they turn it around to make it sound like that, and by the way, the title of the article is, was, is the Washington Post ‘The Deceptively (indecipherable) of Joe Biden Singles, Signals What Is Coming’ and that is that’s a whole bunch of lies. The generic point I’m making here is that, what has happened is that, I know we’re going to get in to, whomever the nominee is of the Democratic Party, is going to have a plethora of lies told about him or her, and misrepresentations and this went on the internet, this edited article, it got retweeted by some press people and then they realized it was edited to make it look like something not… white supremacists, see, Biden’s acknowledging that the problem here is that that all those folks, all those minority folks are the problem. And so, in essence. And so they corrected, they corrected. You’re going to see a lot more of it. You’re going to see a lot more of not only my statements being taken out of context, and lied about, or altered, you’re going to see whomever the Democratic nominee is because that’s how this guy operates. Now. Whether or not I can win?”

    1. I think even correcting for what you ordinarily see when someone speaks off the cuff, that is quite a verbal labyrinth.

He was always a mediocrity compared to other national politicians. He got better press than Dan Quayle because the media don’t play gotcha games with Democrats and Republican activists don’t manufacture embarrassing pseudo-events for the media to cover, in part because the intramural culture of Republican voters is different and in part because the media do not collude with the right and they do with the left.

So, you start out with a deficient baseline and you add the injuries ordinary aging does, and you get Sundown Joe. Unless of course it isn’t ordinary aging.

Oh, and he’s an enabler for his 1st degree relations, who are rotten to the core.

      1. What you said, “He got better press than Dan Quayle because the media don’t play gotcha games with Democrats and Republican activists don’t manufacture embarrassing pseudo-events for the media to cover, in part because the intramural culture of Republican voters is different and in part because the media do not collude with the right and they do with the left. ” is the point. The Media makes fun of Quayles potatoe and ignores 57 states.
