Washington this week is proving once again that, as President Harry Truman warned, if “you want a friend in Washington, get a dog.” President Joe Biden appears isolated and alone this weekend. He cannot even count on his dogs who are equally unpopular after the White House was accused of covering up their own dangerous demeanor.
Fox host Shannon Bream reported this morning that her staff tried for an entire week to get a single Democrat to go on the show to defend President Joe Biden as the party’s nominee. Not a single Democrat was willing to do so.
In the meantime, the New York Times is reporting that a senior White House official is calling for Biden to step down as the nominee due to his declining physical and mental condition. The media, which has long attacked those questioning Biden’s fitness, is now on board with the Democratic establishment in pushing the President to withdraw.
The one constant in this ever-changing city is that self-interest alone drives policies and alliances. If you endanger the meal ticket of members of Congress, you are immediately persona non grata. Biden is now threatening Democratic control of both the White House and the Congress. The word is out that Biden has to go so the media is suddenly noticing what it long refused to see.
That goes for staffers too. For years, the staff has engaged in a dishonest effort to shield Biden from questions and to carefully script and choreograph his appearances. Figures like Karine Jean-Pierre and close political allies knowingly misled the public as to the President’s deteriorating condition. Even after telling the public to watch the President in interviews, it was revealed this weekend that the White House was feeding pre-written questions to favorable hosts.
Indeed, the media is actually blaming conservatives for failing to reveal the President’s condition due to their effort to frame the news.
The truth is now unavoidable. The President has continued to struggle with clarity, as when he recently declared “by the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman… to serve with a black president.”
In the case of this high-level White House staffer, he or she also said nothing for months, even as the White House attacked Fox News and other outlets for showing the President’s confusion at public events. They were denounced as “cheap fakes.”
This staffer reportedly worked with Biden during his presidency, vice presidency and 2020 campaign.
As with the media, however, the staffer now seems to have the green light to kick the President to the curb to strengthen Democratic chances in the upcoming election.
The staffer revealed that Biden has repeatedly become confused and weakened in the course of the day.
Somehow this is being portrayed as courageous despite the fact that the staffer remained silent as others were attacked for raising these issues and the White House actively hid the President’s declining condition.
As is often the case, everyone in Washington is jumping ship as the rats run for the poop deck. No one will be held responsible for months and months of misleading the public about the condition of the man who holds the nuclear launch codes.
Just weeks ago, the media was heralding the brilliance and sharpness of the President.
On MSNBC, Joe Scarborough stated
“start your tape right now because I’m about to tell you the truth. And F— you if you can’t handle the truth. This version of Biden intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever. Not a close second. And I have known him for years…If it weren’t the truth I wouldn’t say it.”
Now, the best that Biden can muster is MSNBC’s Joy Reid who declared
“If it’s Biden in a coma, I’m going to vote for Biden in a coma. I don’t even really, in particular, like the guy. A lot of his policies? Don’t like them, [but] he’s not Donald Trump, right?”
Now there’s a roaring endorsement. The comatose POTUS pitch. Rep. Dan Goldman (D., N.Y.) threw in his own damning defense by saying that the public should just look at the people around the President, a type of figurehead rationale for keeping a possibly infirm president.
As usual, it is the public that has been played as chumps by the establishment and the media. The public is expected to forget the years of shielding Biden and the many public testimonials of his wickedly sharp acumen. In a blink, he has gone from “the best Biden ever” to a type of “comatose but comfortable” defense.
It is the political version of going from blue chip to junk bond status in a week.
Dear Mr. Turley, I am not surprised at the liberal media and others turning against Mr. Biden. By debating Mr. Trump, he blew his own cover as well as theirs. Now, Mrs. Biden is out on the trail speaking for her husband. While admirable, she is defeating his purpose in running. People want to see the person they are voting for not a fill-in. Mr. Biden had a week of preparation and rest before the debate. One wonders what Mr. Biden would have been like without that rest.
Never mind.

Anyone who realizes Bribem’s history knows he is never going to step down, ever. Elected to the Senate @ age 29. His first thought after he won was, “When can I become president?” Not if. Since he became a Senator a half-C ago he has had one over riding thought-becoming president. He was the front running Dem in the 80s till the scandals hit, among them plagiarism. He ran in 2008 but nobody was going to beat the little black baby Jesus, who chose Bribem as his running mate. Bribem would vote for orange man before he gave up the power he waited 5/8ths of his life to attain. For the good of the country? HAHAHA. Once Joe is out, or maybe even while he is still in, for a whole bunch of “tell all” books to come out.
Be a great piece if someone like The Free Press could put together a in depth report of who knew, how long the cover up has been going on.
It is the scandal of the century.

It was clear to me back before Biden ran in 2020 that he was mentally gone and that was why they kept him in his basement. When he was let out he was drugged and only in from of very small groups for short times. The MSM and Fox were all in on getting Biden in office over Trump.
The 2020 election night I stayed up all night and watched the counting stop across the nation at the same time with Trump way ahead and then several hours later start up again at the same time across the nation and Biden was ahead slightly but with no time to have the counting to do it. At that time I knew the election was stolen.
There is no way Biden has been in control of anything since he has become President. Biden just signs what Jill puts in front of him or she signs it for him. There has to be the Admin running the country, but the exact people is unknown. The problem is that we have mass illegal alien invasion, massive inflation, high crime with little prison, massive government spending to foreign and non government groups, and warfare.
How Dems keep supporting Biden is unknown, but that is why they have brought in the illegals so they can have the illegals vote for them and steal the election. Many times have VOTER ID been required in bills to place Federal Votes but each time they get voted down by the Democrats, either in the House, Senate, or President.

When Joe fumbles past the American Normandy veterans, leaving Macron to shake their hands for him, it’s not hard to draw a conclusion without someone telling you.
When the President can’t even speak coherently, repeatedly falls down stairs, and walks and talks so poorly that they have to give him special sneakers and run screening bodies to shield him from the media cameras when he gets off Air Force One and Marine One, it’s not hard to draw a conclusion without someone telling you.
Let’s face it. People consume the information their party tells them to consume. America is one big Jonestown about to collapse.
Democrats – ALL DEMOCRATS – are complicit in these frightening schemes that leave America in grave danger.
They all believe climate change or abortion or simply a GOP president are existential threats warranting any act of deceit, graft, treason, and terrorism. How silly they are.
It’s too late to teach these ignoamouses the basics civics course explaining how due process, checks and balances, transparency and the electoral process are SUPREME and neglecting or tampering with them is fatal in our Republic. They cannot connect corruption with extinction.

When Biden was installed as President in 2020. He essentially campaigned from his basement. When he had public appearances (few and far between), nobody showed up. Still we are supposed to believe that 81 Million people voted for him, far more than their rock star Obama ever received? The Democrats are not bound my rules or laws. I look for Big Mike, Barrack’s husband, aka Michelle to be installed at the Democrat convention for Obama’s FOURTH term of office. If not, the backup plan of election fraud and ballot stuffing will be enough for a Biden win in 2024.
Our form of government is in many ways ‘one of a kind’ when compared to the other 200+ nations on the planet.
But I must say that England and France have just recently shown us Americans how to put the populace/the voters in charge of who’s running the government. There is no ‘4 year president;’ Macron called for a ‘snap election’ and it turned out his party was no longer the one the people wanted — so be it — voila —- Done in a matter of weeks. I think a vote of ‘no confidence’ would pass a national referendum in America if we voters were given the opportunity to let our opinions be known —
They are still claiming he has had a great presidency with much accomplishment. Anything for the party and power.
If he wasn’t so evil, one could almost feel sorry for old fool. Nah, not really.
The problem is that for Democrats there are no alternatives. The VP is also an elective dead end. Choosing another is weeks of infighting and upheaval.
A repeat of the voter and election fraud in the swing States in 2020 is the Dems best chance. I wonder how many ballot drop boxes Zuckerberg will install this time? Will he spend a full 1/2 Billion or even more? Will anyone be monitoring the ballot dumps?
