The Usual Suspects: Declassified Russian Investigation Material Reveals a Familiar Rogue’s Gallery

Below is my column on Fox.com regarding the declassification of material related to the origins of the Russian collusion investigation. The same figures are again in the news as the public learns about the real Russian conspiracy. Filling out the cast, the same media figures are again telling the public not to believe their lying eyes.

Here is the column:

The release of declassified material has shed new light on the creation of the Russian collusion investigation and many of the names are crushingly familiar. Indeed, Congress is moving to “round up the usual suspects” in light of the new revelations. It is the story of the real Russian conspiracy: how high-ranking officials in the Obama Administration seeded this false claim with the help of an eager, unquestioning press corps.

Not surprisingly, the media (which spent years repeating the false Russian collusion claims) is doing a full-court press to kill the story. Yet, many of these key figures are retaining counsel in anticipation of the unfolding investigation. Many previously secured contracts with MSNBC or CNN, or book deals, where they doubled down on the false claims detailed in these new documents. Here are just a few of the usual suspects:

John Brennan, Former Director, Central Intelligence Agency

Brennan is arguably the most at risk in the new disclosures, which allegedly contradict his prior testimony before Congress. On May 23, 2017, Brennan testified that the infamous Steele dossier “wasn’t part of the corpus of intelligence information that we had. It was not in any way used as a basis for the Intelligence Community Assessment that was done.”

However, the new material shows that Brennan was the key figure insisting on the inclusion of the Steele dossier in an intelligence assessment, suggesting that the Russians did influence the election in favor of Trump.

Brennan not only intervened to include the dossier but overruled the CIA’s two most senior Russia experts, who said it “did not meet even the most basic tradecraft standards.” One analyst recounted how “[Brennan] refused to remove it, and when confronted with the dossier’s main flaws, [Brennan] responded, ‘Yes, but doesn’t it ring true?’”

Notably, it was Brennan who briefed Obama in 2016 about Hillary Clinton’s plan to create a Russian conspiracy “to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security service.” Months later, it would be Brennan who would actively incorporate the dossier secretly funded by Clinton’s campaign.

James Clapper, Former Director of National Intelligence

James Clapper, former DNI under Obama, is expecting the worst and said that he has “lawyered up.”  Clapper was in the briefing in July 2016 when Obama was told that Clinton was planning to create a Russian conspiracy narrative. In November 2016, Clapper received an assessment from the intelligence community that Russia was “probably not trying … to influence the election by using cyber means.” He also received talking points from staff on December 7, 2016, “Foreign adversaries did not use cyberattacks on election infrastructure to alter the US Presidential election outcome.”

On December 9, 2016, another report stated that “Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure.” That Presidential Daily Brief was scheduled to be published on December 9, 2016, but CDNI Clapper’s office stopped its publication “based on some new guidance.”

Clapper later joined Obama with John Brennan, Susan Rice, John Kerry, Loretta Lynch, Andrew McCabe and others, in a meeting where a new assessment was ordered that would detail the “tools Moscow used and actions it took to influence the 2016 election.” Brennan then reportedly handpicked the analysts who seemed to flip the earlier assessments without any credible intelligence.

In a 2018 interview with the Harvard Gazette, Clapper continued to spread the false narrative, referring to the high-confidence judgment that “Putin directly ordered the hacking and election interference.” He added, “I think they [Russians] actually influenced the outcome.”

Clapper later added to his tarnished legacy by signing the letter with more than 50 former intelligence officials dismissing the Hunter Biden laptop story before the 2020 presidential election as likely “Russian disinformation.”

James Comey, Former Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation

James Comey would use this contrived intelligence to green-light the investigations that overwhelmed the first Trump term. The FBI was aware early that the Steele dossier was an unreliable political hit job funded by the Clinton campaign. Moreover, the CIA told the FBI that Trump associate Carter Page was a U.S. intelligence asset, not a Russian spy.  The FBI ignored such countervailing intelligence, violated protocols, and lied to a federal court to maintain the Russian investigation.

In an interview with Fox’s Bret Baier, Comey was asked about the lack of evidence of “Russian collusion.” Comey dismissed the question by saying “collusion’s not a word that I’m familiar with.” Putting aside the lunacy of that statement, Comey then says the question is whether Americans were “in cahoots with the foreign intelligence activities.” It appears “cahoots” is a word he is familiar with.  He then denied knowing, in April 2018, that the Clinton campaign had funded the report. Comey often appears unfamiliar with terms or facts that contradicted his investigation of Trump, even years later.

Comey repeatedly testified to a lack of memory on key decisions made in the Russian investigation.  However, documents show that it was Comey who pushed back on a planned statement by Clapper, stating that they had not determined the dossier to be reliable.

Andrew McCabe, Former Acting FBI Director

Andrew McCabe, now a CNN contributor, was fired after career Justice Department officials found that the former acting FBI director not only lied to investigators but deserved to be fired. That recommendation was reportedly embraced by the career officials in the inspector general’s office. He was accused of lying four times, including twice under oath.

Not surprisingly, McCabe makes appearances in the new disclosures. He is not only present at critical meetings, but it also appears that McCabe was allegedly responsible for blocking congressional investigators from interviewing the FBI analysts who supported Brennan and the drafters of the controversial ICA. Congress alleged that McCabe walled off at least 30 FBI employees associated with the dossier.

These and other names are not new. As the media was spreading the false narrative of Russian collusion, many of these figures knew that there was no evidence of such collusion. They said nothing.

Instead, after Obama ordered a new assessment, effectively flipping the conclusions of the earlier assessment, anonymous sources leaked the false narrative to the media, which eagerly ran with the story.

While leaks of the false narrative were rampant, none of the actual facts were leaked to the media. In the meantime, figures like Schiff continued to claim, even after the Special Counsel rejected evidence of collusion, that he had secret evidence to the contrary in the House Intelligence Committee. Schiff never revealed that evidence, and the public now knows that the intelligence community rejected the collusion claims from the outset.

The public is now learning about the real Russian conspiracy and its key players. It was the most infamous — and successful — political hit job in history. The same media that pushed the false claims are now, again, imposing a news blackout as they did with the Hunter Biden laptop. The problem is that the truth, like water, tends to find a way out. That trickle just turned into a flood for the architects of the Russian collusion hoax.

  1. If the subject is crimes of the political elites, let’s not forget the closure of schools during the beginning of the COVID panic, supposedly to protect the students. It seems that absentee rates have remained at startling-high-levels even after the clousure ended. In Washington DC, absentee levels are now at about 50%. In Oregon, the level is almost as high.
“Chronic absenteeism surged to unprecedented levels at schools across America during the coronavirus pandemic and remains at disturbingly high levels even now.”

    1. Covid was perpetrated to lock up people, prevent fleeing to other nations, kill old people, make money for pharma, destroy small business, set a generation behind educationally by 2 years, further destruction of economy. It was planned. It was planned by common murderers and thieves. There’s many of evil proportions vomited out of hells belly.

  2. I’m just so glad Hillary Arab Spring Russian Dossier Clinton is in our country’s rear-view mirror.. Everything she touched turned to manure, including President Obama’s reputation. Hope and Change? Hope and Same Old Corruption, But Extra Stinky, more like.

She was educated at Yale law school. Yes, I know she had trouble passing the bar, but she eventually did, right? So why did she act like laws and regulations simply did not apply to her?

    I guess because, they didn’t.

Did the auto-pen crew grant her one of those, whatever-she-might-have-done-whenever-she-might-have-done-it. pardons? Maybe not. Maybe they figured her wrongdoing would keep getting a pass.

  3. Opening statement: “Brennan is arguably the most at risk….”
Follow up: Brennan is unarguably the most malicious and derelict.

THIS man, Brennan, was CIA Director during the Obama/Clinton BENGHAZI cover-up….Never forget! Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods: Help requested and denied 3-times.

  4. As a measure of how detached Americans have become from our responsibilities to continue perfecting our democracy, if you gave The People a choice:

    • make permanent changes to Civil law making it possible for ordinary citizens to file Public Frauds Lawsuits against politicians (and their PR/media co-conspirators) within hours of dropping a premeditated whopper, with rapid due process depositions and subpoenas that deny them delay as a legal tactic

    OR

    • have the DOJ successfully prosecute Obama, Brennan, Rice, Clinton, Clapper, Comey and McCabe and imprison them
for anything in the lawbooks that might stick

    which would we choose?

I fear it is DOJ prosecutions. We’ve been trained to only respond to a story with a villain. The idea of patching up our systems to deter future attempts to dupe the public for political advantage has less appeal. It’s abstract and sterile because it doesn’t say who are the good guys and who are the bad guys. It doesn’t satisfy a nervous system trained to respond to conflict theatrics.

But choice 1 is the mindset our Founders hoped we would choose. It’s what they chose to expend their energies on.
They took responsibility for the future. Can we still think that same way?

        1. How so ? The appropriate consequence for false statements that are NOT under oath and do not meet the requirements of actual Fraud is the self inflicted damage to your reputation.

I expect that history is likely to re-assess Obama in light of recent revalations.
No president has ever acted to sabotage their successor in the way Obama has.

Obama’s conduct was immoral and unethical as well as illegal – though as Trump noted he is protected by presidential immunity,
I expect him to be remembered as such.

The difference between Obama’s actions and those of Nixon is that The FBI and other alphabet services would NOT do Nixon’s biding,
So his AG created the Plumbers. But the conduct was pretty much the same – unlawful actions by those in power for the purpose of political advantage over a political oponent.

What is worse about Obama – is that the Alphabet agencies DID involve themselves in the illegal, immoral, and unethical conspiracy.
And The people involved aside from Obama are NOT protected by presidential immunity.

      1. We can charge him, arrange for him to come in and surrender, get a mug shot, and fingerprint him. And then he can take it to the Suppreme Court. kWe will accept no less!

    1. *. Responsible , informed voting is another approach.

The democrats are anti-american and it’s not possible to continue. It’s madness.

    2. Of course, because the former is not a crime, is not a civil cause of action and is a violation of the first amendment.

Ordinary citizens can ALREADY file a lawsuit anytime there is an ACTUAL Fraud.

      Doing so requires:

A lie represented as the truth,
That is provided in a context where the lying party has an obligation to be truthful.
That you depend on to your detriment,
That you are ACTUALLY harmed – i.e. that you experience a REAL LOSS of REAL Property that belongs to you.

These are the common law requirements for Fraud. If you do not meet them – you do not have fraud, and you do not have standing to sue.

Both James and Braggs cases against Trump DO NOT meet these requirements and should have been tossed at the start by jodges that folowed the law and constitution.

You may not like those requirements – but they exist for a reason – they protect all of us from having society decay into litigious chaos.

  5. These boys are nothing more than human detritus along with their master.
Too bad, their master seemingly offered so much hope but delivered 8 years of nothing. The saddest story ever told in US history.

  6. “Brennan who would actively incorporate the dossier secretly funded by Clinton’s campaign.” (JT)

In the 1976 presidential election, Brennan voted for the communist Gus Hall. (Apparently, Carter wasn’t enough of a statist.)

Pathological dishonesty, political machinations, an insatiable desire to control others, deceit — those are all part of communism’s DNA.

Brennan may have shed his communist sympathies. But he did not shed communism’s repulsive character traits.

    1. America has been communist since Lincoln.

      https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/iwma/documents/1864/lincoln-letter.htm

Letter of Congratulation and Commendation to Abraham Lincoln from Karl Marx:
      _________________________________________________________________________________________

“The workingmen of Europe…consider it an earnest of the epoch…that it fell to…Abraham Lincoln…to lead his country through…the RECONSTRUCTION OF A SOCIAL WORLD. [B]”

      – Karl Marx, 1865

        1. So true; I might have named “Crazy Abe’s” “Reign of Terror” as the inflection point of the death of constitutional freedom and the inception of communism in America.

For the uninitiated as to the cumulative effect of insidious communism, the frog is not placed in hot water; he is placed in cold water that is heated until, eventually, the frog is boiled and ready for serving by the staff.

But nice try, Comrade General Secretary.

    2. Who were the senators who voted him in? I understand they really didn’t want him. What and who were the presure and presurers? I knew he was a meglomaniac. Didn’t they!

  7. Dear Prof Turley,

The media mob is fickle my friend. Recommend a Special Counsel (preferably an independent US Attorney) .. . if one can be found.

I suspect there would be a fine line drawn between any ‘legal’ Obama/Clinton/Biden ‘oppositional research’ (see Citizens United) to disprove any frivolous, seditious, treasonous coup plots claims in a court of law. .. and the probability of that happening is not high (to say the least).

The better approach, imho, is to finally find the Laptop from Hell in the bowels of the FBI, and investigate the ’51 top intel officials’, including the past 5 CIA directors, who penned the letter claiming it was ‘Russian disinformation’. That’s obstruction of justice.
*special note. again, if Hunter Biden’s laptop *was* Russian disinformation well, that would a whole different can of worms. .. and I would want to know.

Iirc, Antony Blinken was the originating source for that widely publicized letter?

The MAGA mob is fickle too .. . I also support an independent Special Counsel to investigate the Epstein files.. . if one can be found.

*fyi Vlad Putin, the entire Kremlin and President Xi think Trump is a chaotic, wild-card ‘enigma’. .. which is an improvement over what they thought of Joe Biden, I guess.

    1. DG. They thought the same of Billary. (russia)
I find it odd, you don’t seem too care about incontinent folks who were rail-roaded by the IRS, with O-dumber blessing

  8. The Democrats are like Bunny Rabbits, hopping from here to there leaving their deposits and damages wherever they go, though cute they are nothing more than a Rodent. The vermin of today’s subject are just a continuation of a long line of leftist Political Chiefs acting out their conceit of intelligence for suppose betterment of Society, all the while plowing ahead towards Pandemonium, lawlessness and an abandonment of the founding documents of this great nation: The United States of America!

I asked what is appropriate for the evil purveyors highlighted today. Prosecution, ridicule, or shame two sides to every coin I’d say. Investigations are time consuming and legal actions are way in the future and America has other problems for the three branches of government to address, ridicule and shame I think could be sufficient, we could revert back to the Puritans punishment of either bilboes or wooden stocks erected in the Constitution Gardens.

    George W

    1. George W,
      Good evening George W.
You are correct that the Democrat party is like rabbits. While they may be cute to some, they are in fact rodents. Vermin. Just like the Democrat party.

  9. Say, what’s Kamala Harris up to these days? Maybe she could look into the Russiagate hoax for us. She’s so smart, she could probably wrap this up in her spare time.

    1. That depends on “what can be, unburdened by what has been,” with the understanding that “the children of the community are the children of the community.”

  10. Turley’s conclusion is wrong. The conspiracy was not successful. Trump became president and was not removed from office. The conspiracy is now in the final process of being exposed and some conspirators may be punished. Over time it became so obvious that the conspiracy was false that it helped Trump win a second term.

    1. Wrong……not of these conspirators are behind bars. CNN employs one who is a liar. Many still hold the others in high esteem and believe them. Their scandalous behaviors derailed Trump’s first term proposals and got Biden elected, a President in name only. Inflation, war in Ukraine, death and a hideous surrender in Afghanistan.

    2. OBTAIN OBAMA’S EMAIL/INTERNET/PHONE LOGS

THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS BEGINS FROM THE DATE OF THE LAST OVERT ACT IN FURTHERANCE OF THE CONSPIRACY
      ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

18 U.S. Code § 371 – Conspiracy to commit offense or to defraud United States

If two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose, and one or more of such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.
      _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The statute of limitations for 18 U.S.C. § 371, which defines conspiracy to commit an offense or to defraud the United States, is 5 years. This is the general rule for most non-capital federal offenses, according to the Department of Justice. The statute of limitations begins running from the date of the last overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy, according to the Department of Justice.

Clinton–Obama Emails: The Key to Understanding Why Hillary Wasn’t Indicted

    By Andrew C. McCarthy

    January 23, 2018 9:25 PM
New FBI texts highlight a motive to conceal the president’s involvement.

From the first, these columns have argued that the whitewash of the Hillary Clinton–emails caper was President Barack Obama’s call — not the FBI’s, and not the Justice Department’s. (See, e.g., here, here, and here.) The decision was inevitable. Obama, using a pseudonymous email account, had repeatedly communicated with Secretary Clinton over her private, non-secure email account.

These emails must have involved some classified information, given the nature of consultations between presidents and secretaries of state, the broad outlines of Obama’s own executive order defining classified intelligence (see EO 13526, section 1.4), and the fact that the Obama administration adamantly refused to disclose the Clinton–Obama emails. If classified information was mishandled, it was necessarily mishandled on both ends of these email exchanges.

If Clinton had been charged, Obama’s culpable involvement would have been patent. In any prosecution of Clinton, the Clinton–Obama emails would have been in the spotlight. For the prosecution, they would be more proof of willful (or, if you prefer, grossly negligent) mishandling of intelligence. More significantly, for Clinton’s defense, they would show that Obama was complicit in Clinton’s conduct yet faced no criminal charges.

The Obama Coup D’etat in America is the most egregious abuse of power and the most prodigious crime in American political history. The co-conspirators are:

Kevin Clinesmith, Bill Taylor, Eric Ciaramella, Rosenstein, Mueller/Team, Andrew Weissmann,

James Comey, Christopher Wray, McCabe, Strozk, Page, Laycock, Kadzic, Sally Yates,

Paul Vixie, L. Jean Camp, Andrew Whitney, Lisa O. Monaco, Fani Willis, Alvin Bragg,

Matthew Colangelo, Merrick Garland, Juan Merchan, Timothy Thibault et al.

      1. Anonymous — could you please move Merrick Garland closer to the top of that list? It is hard to believe this nation has ever had a greater traitor – and yes, I know who Benedict Arnold is.

        1. Everyone on the planet is fully aware of Heinrich Mueller’s crimes and culpability.

  12. Thanks JT for the history lesson. How about dealing with the elephant in the room.

Despite Tapper’s fact‑based correction, Mullin doubled down: “Who was in office at the time?” he asked. Tapper answered again: “George W. Bush.” Undeterred, Mullin countered: “No, 2009 is when the case came out … And Obama was in office at the time.” Tapper simply responded: “It’s not true.”

It’s time for news organizations to say flat out you are lying. The guy that made the sweetheart deal for Epstein (violating victim rights laws) went on to work for trump. To top it off, the AG trump appointed, Pam Bondi, refused to press trump U when other states got refunds of millions of dollars. Then Pam gives trump a campaign contribution. Looks like her graft paid off well, she became AG.

So JT, tell us more about Hunter. How good is the Hunter porn you watch incessantly?

      1. No need to attack. Just release the un-redacted, declassified documents that the Democrats wrote themselves. The Obama admin Democrats and all their lackeys and the MSM are their own worst enemy. We just needed good people like DNI Gabbard and AG Bondi among others to do the right thing and fight the Democrat corruption.
This is a Democrat self-made scandal. We did not do it. They did.

        1. NotReallyaFarmer

Apparently you have no chores today on your “farm”.
Why don’t you just admit that you live in a fantasy world like all your fellow MAGA cultists.
You claim to be a farmer, but you are here all day everyday commenting obsessively on anything and everything.
You have posted comments more than 20 times already and the day is only half over.
Have you ever heard of obsessive compulsive disorder.

          1. Hahahahahahaha!! How many pointless and irrelevant comments have you posted today dearie? Oh wait, this is your so-called job, no wonder!!!!

            You’re so pathetic.

            1. DustOff,
Our annoy moron seems to embellish that us farmers fit into the stereotype like Hillary Clinton did: Deplorables. That we are not of higher education past high school. As the good professor has pointed out, higher education is nothing more than leftist indoctrination camps. They are no more educated or enlightened than anyone else. If anything, they are even dumber than the lowest elevator IQ person. Us uneducated deplorables have something they do not; Common sense. Something they and Hillary Clinton lack. And that is why they hate us so. We have the audacity to think for ourselves. To use our own logic and common sense to make our own decisions. To question their motives. That, they cannot have. They need mindless lemmings to follow them off the cllift. To continue to vote for their so-called betters who tell them what their position is in society while they eat high on the hog.
I applaud them in their ignorance.

              1. @Upstate

Yup. There are few things more annoying than urban liberals uttering the phrase, ‘Rural People’. Boy, can they go to hell. But ignorance and fear are what they are made of, so . . .

              2. Upstate,
I absolutely appreciate farmers. Many in my family either farm or grew up farming. It is a complex, capital intensive operation.

The keyboard warriors would be lost if the power went out and they couldn’t access hot pockets and Doritos. It would hilarious to watch them put in a hard day’s work with their hands, drive a tractor or try to make farming commercially viable, let alone trying to grow a small garden.

That would be a sight to behold.

          2. Oh, so, not very smart annoy moron, we had thunderstorms this morning. Not inclined to get a lighting bolt to the head while out in the fields. Those of us who have a degree of common sense, know when it is smart to stay indoors. Once the storms passed, I was out there. As you might of noticed. But you dont. You have no common sense to see that.

      2. Hahahahahahaha!! Pathetic. All of it. You’re such a freaking joke. Keep it up, you’re absolutely hilarious!!!

      3. Hahahahahahahahahaha!! Do you still believe in the tooth fairy? How about Santa Claus? Your insipid post just crack us all up.

    1. Oh slam, you really got everyone this time!! Hahahahaha, only had one nibble for your crappy post, huh? Troll harder next time, sweetcakes.

  13. They are ALL crooks and broke the law. They should ALL go to prison and be tried for TREASON, but sadly, I doubt very seriously we will ever see justice be done, and they will all get away with just a mere slap on the wrist at best. 🙁

    1. *. Yes, and this octopus is big. Nearly all federal judges, congress, media, education, whole states and cities and a generation after generation of poorly educated young people leaving no one competent to carry on.

      Pessimistic cynic

      1. *. Look a the aesthetics these generations are producing. Listen to the drone of their poetry, music and artworks. It’s bankrupt. Listen to the spewings of the jive turkey Cory Booker arguing nonsensical points about his truth and how it must be accommodated. His sun is a different yellow. Listen to the unhinged spewing of KBJ.

Focus on moving this 3rd world toward major issues, transportation, communications, energy, domestic food production, rivers, lakes and streams.

The usual suspects are most likely murderers , as well. Republicans need a new plan, too. The second amendment 2A will have a meaning in the future to keep land invasions manageable.

            1. English is the official language of the United States of America.

Each and every and all usage of foreign languages must immediately and forthwith cease and desist—public, corporate, retail, legal, et al., etc., ad infinitum, ad nauseam.

              1. But how will you communicate with your paymasters in that case? Things that make you go hmmmmm.

              2. *. It actually is. Every now and then something unexpected does reveal itself. English proficiency is demonstrated before citizenship. Speaking English leads to reading except if the alphabet is different as in Greek or Russian and others.

Lack of a common language is an efficiency problem in crisis or emergency.

          1. *. It leads to AI making democrats the bad guys, the traitors. Wonder who’s behind AI. Gosh.

        1. *. Yep, blind drugged and drunk.

Who didn’t know KBJ was unhinged after confirmation hearings?

This is torture world. They don’t know anything else. What normal, sane person would give up 4-6 years of their precious life to be in a room with Crockett, Booker, Jeffries, Cortez, Boebert, Waters, Omar, Tlaib, Pelosi, etc low IQ, unhinged and immoral?

Cut feds back to face value issues. Yes, Buraq transformed the US into a 3rd world and it’s serious. Just give the mob a salacious story and there’s full attention. Some woman was in a nursing home and not showing up to vote in congress? Eleanor Norton has alzheimers? Transgender surgery for pre-pubescent children? Teenagers not being prosecuted for prostitution?

Yeah, it’s torture alright. Where is Luis Leon?

    2. ajeanneinthekitchen – read the Durham report. This evidence was “classified”, obfuscated, hidden, and down-right perjured. The sad reality is tampering and then citation as “fruit of the poisonous tree” by corrupt judges, prosecutors, and DAs whose appointments and elections were influenced and outright bought widely through dark money power structures such as Arabella Advisors, ActBlue, OSF, . . .

The bottom line will be that corrupt judges, statute of limitations (in “investigations” deliberately sidelined and side-tracked), not to mention the “pardons” of all legal transgressions ever committed by individuals (which would include murder, attempted murder, treason, . . .) — these cases will never be prosecuted.

      1. Oh, brilliant reply. And as usual with you, it could also be totally wrong, i.e., he could have been ordered to appear. God, are you a moron. Please just go away. Your incessant, irrelevant, and ineffectual sniping is just pathetic.

  14. Hopefully the conspirators will be charged for their actions and tried out of Washington. Obacala is protected by “official acts” but was this conspiracy an “official act of the office of President”? D Bongino’s resent post is concerning, most think it’s in reference to the Epstein matter but I think it’s something more alarming. I think we all should be vigilant.

      1. Just remember Anonymous. Remember when speaking about things that are made up that you were one of those who believed and repeated every word of the RussiaGate hoax.
One doesn’t have to be a lawyer to understand the garbage that you fomented. The fact remains that even after the many hoaxes have been debunked you find no need for any introspection. We understand the nature of your character.

        1. TiT,
Well said! The anonny morons tell us time and time again to prove whatever. Then we do. And then they just run away and pretend they were never wrong. No introspection at all. No self-awareness. Just like a child caught in a lie, they run away.

        2. TiT,
          Then there is this,
“Cornyn also said that “while we’ve known there was ZERO evidence of collusion” between Trump and Russia, “it’s become more evident that the entire Russia collusion hoax was fabricated by the Obama admin to subvert the will of the American people.”

Rubio, Cotton, and Cornyn released a statement accompanying the release of the fifth volume of the Senate report in August 2020, where the senators said, “The committee found no evidence that then-candidate Donald Trump or his campaign colluded with the Russian government in its efforts to meddle in the election. … After more than three years of investigation by this Committee, we can now say with no doubt, there was no collusion.”

This would be the same report that Gigi keeps referencing as evidence of Trump and Russian collusion. As we can see, she was wrong. Again. And as we are now seeing, there was collusion between Obama, Brenner, Clapper, Comey and McCabe to manufacture intelligence to undermine the first Trump admin.
Note how the Democrats are trying to gaslight, outright lie or ignore evidence.

Dems fight Gabbard’s disclosure with faulty Senate report that claimed Steele Dossier wasn’t in ICA
“Cherry-picking from the wrong tree: Obama and other top Democrats are pointing to a faulty Senate report which missed crucial info in effort to ignore declassification revelations, and are pretending that the superseding Ratcliffe report doesn’t exist.”
          https://justthenews.com/government/federal-agencies/dems-combat-gabbard-declass-pointing-senate-report-which-wrongly?utm_source=referral&utm_medium=offthepress&utm_campaign=home

      2. You don’t need the nose of a bloodhound to know that there has been something fishy about obama since the first time he popped up at a dem event and was pushed to the top of the line (and I don’t think it was merely because of the color of his skin).

            1. Sharks do not have scales.
              Catfish do not have scales.
              Mackerel do not have scales.
              Halibut do not have scales.
              Sole do not have scales.
              Turbot do not have scales.
So, yes, silly you. But thank you for proving to the whole world how dumb you really are.

                1. Is it not truly amazing, almost embarrassingly, easy it is to prove how dumb the annony moron is?
As a pun, did you not see how I baited annoy moron into a trap in one of the good professor’s other columns? I proved of so easily with facts. Of course he took the bait, line and sinker, I hooked him, bagged him and cooked him. Easily.

              1. sharks are not fish. The Torah only allows the consumption of fishes with scales and fins. That is a fine separation for me.

              2. Mackerel and Halibut are Kosher. Sole and Turbot can be Kosher. They all have scales, even if small. They have to because they are Kosher. Sharks are fish and are not Kosher.

However, if a pious Jew is in a Chinese restaurant eating fried rice with pork and shrimp with a dairy dish on the side, he might as well eat shark-fin soup.

Neither pork nor shrimp can be eaten, and meat cannot be mixed with dairy.

          1. I thought he was fishy when hillary proclaimed his the new face of the democrats. It wasn’t his skin color, it was his upbringing under a known communist and his islamic sympathies and especially his ties to reverend wright. An anti-American communist outranks any skin color.

        1. Whim

Sorry to say many Americans fell for just that. Our first black Prez. No matter what he had done. Which wasn’t much of anything.
His 8 years in office prove it.

              1. Was that peace when he was zapping Pakistani weddings? Maybe it was his illegal war against Libya, that was such a success that now they have open-air slave markets again, how wonderful.

Name me any peace that Obama had any hand in.

              1. Barack himself even said that he was unqualified, but of course his ego just had to accept it.

            1. Upstate

Heck. I’m still trying to figure that one out?
We could ask Libya what they think.

        2. Mama, the only thing I would add to your comment is that when Obama first popped up at a Dem event he was at the home of a known terrorist, a man that was involved with bombings in America.

Maybe idiots like “Analonomous” things it has anything to do with “skin color”, but it doesn’t matter if you are an Islamic terrorist, like Hamas, ISIS or Bin Laden, or a trans terrorist like the shooter in TN, or a white terrorist like in OKC the only thing that matters is that whites and black conservatives decry bombings by white extremists like in OKC while leftists defend or at least excuse bombings and killings by Muslims, trans or black radicals.

  15. It is great to see these conspirators exposed for their actions. Their fear and lawyering up gives us great confidence of their guilt. Fortunately for us, Trump won and with his intrepid team and cabinet, they are exposing the Obama conspiracy to undermine the first Trump admin. With DNI Gabbard’s referral to the DOJ for criminal proceedings, we may see some of these conspirators charged and face court proceedings. There, all the facts and timeline the DOJ will prove in court for the whole of America to see. Of course I expect MSM to spin, gaslight and outright lie or even ignore everything as it unfolds. What truly is being exposed is that while we all thought the Joe “Sharp as a tack!” “Laser focused!” “Running circles around his staff!” Biden scandal was the biggest scandal of the century, now we learn that it was the Obama lead conspiracy to undermine the first Trump admin was and IS the biggest scandal of the century.
We must call it for what it was: A vast conspiracy and a scandal.

      1. Your non-thinking, low intelligent, attempts to deflect only gives us more confidence that there in fact was a conspiracy that will be proven in court and that the Democrat party is in shambles as James Carville pointed out recently. Recent polls show the Democrat party at record lows. Your desperation only proves how right we are and how wrong you are. Please, keep it up. 🙂

        1. Thinking doesn’t make it a fact. Wanna bet nothing goes to court? You silly conspiracy theorists …

          1. “Thinking doesn’t make it a fact.”

Now apply that statement to the Russia Russia Russia hoax. Yet another own goal by our resident dolt.

              1. Typical leftist. Once again, proven wrong. Rather than admit they were wrong, they lie or pretend it never happened or existed in the first place.

          2. And if it does go to court, will you admit you were wrong, once again? Or just run away and pretend it never happened? Again.

      2. We can smell the desperation emanating from the prog/left. It truly stinks but it illustrates their level of fear. “What if the deep state can’t protect us this time?????”

      3. MAGA-Bonkers-Anon: the lack of depth in your response proves (and reveals!) the democrat-machine’s successful inculcation of the scatter-brained-left, via the Clinton-Cash, which bought the Steele-Dossier, which hoaxed the FISA court, which underpinned the Crossfire Hurricane CONSPIRACY, all with Obama’s directon….
This “election-denial” and political criminality was achieved to not only make a fool of you, but to groom you and your comrades into mental illness and political violence. In order to get well, you need to start admitting some things.

        1. Dianna, your post cuts through the fog with surgical precision. You laid out the whole chain. Clinton cash bought the Steele Dossier, which hoaxed the FISA court, all under Obama’s direction. That wasn’t politics. That was a conspiracy, plain and simple.

They didn’t just try to fool the country. They groomed a whole class of people into mental confusion and moral collapse. Now, they twist their brains into whatever shape the machine needs. That’s why they make no sense. They’re the waste product of the blog, which is the proof that when you remove morality, thinking breaks down right behind it.

          1. S. Meyer,
That is a great summary of Dianna’s short, yet concise, comment. Thank you.

        2. The same for extorting Ukraine. Had to protect Oboogaloo after Biden told on himself while on ambien aka kettamine.

    1. *. Yes, but the mob is glued to the salacious Epstein story. The first time congress is moved in years is they must have those files.

Gabbard needed to spice it up to get attention.

  16. Here’s what I think we learned from the Ratcliffe/Gabbard disclosures:

    1. In the September 12 ICA, both the FBI and NSA had low confidence that Russia leaked the DNC and Podesta files. As late as December 8, the FBI held to its view, to the point of withdrawing from the proposed PDB and threatening a dissent. Yet by the January ICA, they expressed a high confidence judgment on this issue.

    2. The separate high confidence judgment in the January ICA that Putin preferred Trump and aspired to help him win was supported only by three pieces of human intelligence that had previously been considered too uncertain and unreliable to use. They had been discarded earlier in the year but were resuscitated by Brennan in late December, seemingly to help reach a preordained conclusion. CIA professionals objected to this. The critical analysis of these pieces of intelligence and how they were handled in the House report is compelling. This new judgment did not appear in the September ICA or the proposed December PDB. It was leaked to the press on December 9, immediately after the meeting where the instructions were given to prepare the January ICA and before the judgment could have been developed.

    3. The Steele dossier was cited in the body of the ICA as a fourth item of evidence to support this new conclusion. A summary of the dossier was included as an annex. This introduced the idea that Trump was colluding with Putin to defeat Clinton. CIA professionals objected to the use and inclusion of the Steele dossier. It gave legitimacy to this invented narrative and was promptly leaked after it was briefed to Trump on January 6. Brennan denied repeatedly to Congress that the dossier was used in any way to reach the judgments in the January ICA.

So the January ICA is the first official endorsement of the entire Clinton campaign narrative that (1) Russia leaked the DNC and Podesta files, (2) Putin preferred Trump and aspired to help him win and (3) Trump colluded with Putin to defeat Clinton. The infirmities of the evidence in the ICA on which this was based were hidden until now.

This was done despite the intelligence obtained in July that Russia knew that Clinton had developed a plan to dirty up Trump by tying him to Russian efforts to affect the election. Brennan briefed this to Obama, Comey and others in late July/early August, and CIA sent a counterintelligence referral on it in September to Comey. No effort to investigate this was made, nor did it give pause to Crossfire Hurricane or affect the assessment of the Steele dossier. Ratcliffe declassified this in September 2020, but further information about it remains classified in an annex to the Durham report. This should be declassified as well.

What has been revealed is a concerted effort, led by Obama after the election, to delegitimise, hobble and destroy the Trump presidency, by changing intelligence judgments and relying on discarded and unreliable sources. Whether crimes were committed remains to be seen. Obama has immunity, since these were official acts, Brennan almost certainly lied to Congress, but depending on when he last did it the statute of limitations may have run. A charge of an ongoing criminal conspiracy could reach back to 2016, but whether a continued conspiracy can be proven or whether there was a crime in what was done are unclear.

      1. I just heard Ratcliffe tell Maria Bartiromo that the Durham annex on the Clinton plan intelligence would be declassified soon. Probably reliable.

John Solomon also told Hannity that he expects more to come out on (1) Brennan’s handling of the sole source for the high confidence judgment that Putin aspired to help Trump (the sentence fragment that five analysts read five different ways) and (2) what DOJ was looking for when it searched Mara Lago. Take that for what it’s worth.

  17. “Before call it criminal you have to prove it is. Can you do that?”

    That’s a fair question.

Read the DNI Report. It includes the original documents. Start on page 72. The evidence of the Obama cabal is in those documents.

The essence of that Report is in two parts:

Part One (pre p. 72): We got nothing.

Part Two (after Obama’s urging): Let’s make up something.

    https://www.odni.gov/files/ODNI/documents/DIG/DIG-Declassified-Evidence-Obama-Subvert-President-Trump-2016-Victory-Election-July2025.pdf

If you don’t like reading the technicalities and minutiae of those original docs, or don’t have the time to do so (which is understandable), you rely on an expert with a long track record of objectivity and of being right — like the author of the column, above.

    1. So they said: “lets make something up”. That’s in the record you say? I’m guessing a typo.

      1. “So they said: ‘lets make something up’.”

That’s a slimy example of dishonest quoting, to manipulate others, and to smear the commenter.

I did not put *my* summary of Part Two in quotes — on purpose.

If you believe that *my* summary of those Two Parts is mistaken, please do provide a counter-argument — with references to the original docs.

If, however, your desire is to kneecap your opposition — ala Tanya Harding — then don’t bother.

  18. Another person rarely mentioned is the person in the U.S. Consulate in London who facilitated the FBI when they came to England to meet The Australian Ambassador who talked to Popadapulas when they came the CIA official laughed at them and turned them down. The lady at the Consulate later became Linda Pages and the CIA Lady was involved in water boarding and later became head of the CIA and quit when Trump declassified the project Hurricane documents. Sorry it was some time ago and I’m bad with names.

  19. While Tulsi GABBARD is ferreting out hidden documents I’d contribute to her run for the presidency if she uncovers when and why Barack Obama hired Fusion GPS and paid them approx $1,000,000

      1. We would vote for her for being competent, intelligent, for exposing what just may be the biggest scandal of the century, for her leadership. You on the other hand, voted for Joe “Sharp as a tack!” “Laser focused!” “Running circles around his staff!” pudding head Biden.

        1. Don’t forget that she also voted for Heels-up-Harris. Nobody ever accused Harris of being the smartest person in the room, even when she was in the room alone.

          1. She is a decorated officer in the US military. You dumb leftist person you. Please, do keep commenting and prove to the whole world how dumb you are. You just keep making you leftists look dumber and dumber with every lower level elevator IQ comment.

            1. It’s amazing that the word “MAGA” seems to have some sort of magical quality to this cretin, she throws it around so much. Maybe she’s a witch, and she thinks it’s part of some vanishing spell that she’s casting? Too bad she won’t vanish herself.

          2. Hahahahahaha!!!!

She’s only the DNI, in charge of what, seventeen intelligence agencies. Yeah, no leadership there at all. You’re such a loser.

      2. Correction: moving the correct and salient papers around and exposing them to the disinfecting sunlight….
