The Rise and Fall of John Brennan

  1. This is the best summary of what is going on I’ve read to. That’s one reason I never miss anything Jonathan Turley.
With all of the lies flowing from Obama, Clinton, Clapper, Brennan, Comey and their propaganda media, it’s just a miracle that Trump was reelected.
And yet it was, although they still deny it, what all reasonable people would call a landslide, i.e., popular, electoral, all 7 swing states – and yet no sign of Russian involvement anywhere! 😉

    1. Why not just change the SoL? It “worked” for the corrupt New York prosecutors.

Hint to our trolls: that is yet another reason why your show trial verdicts will be overturned on appeal. The damage that you people did to our judicial system may never be repaired, however.

        1. Hahahahaha, great rejoinder sweetcakes. Thank you for admitting what the NY prosecutors actually did. Another own goal!!! You’re just terrible at this trolling job.

    2. Look, Einstein, the statute of limitations for the conspiracy hasn’t expired. If you were as well read as you pretend to be you would be aware of thsi.

  2. Such colorful language. Brennan should be questioned. It’s OK to scream, there is no shame.

  3. Depraved, disgusting, degenerate, destructive anti-America, anti-Civilization IslamoCommuNazis like John Brennan have no place in America, let alone in government. Brennan should be tried, convicted, and sentenced to consecutive prison terms of 30 years each. Now!

  4. “The laptop, of course, was later found to be authentic and incriminating for Hunter Biden.”

At the time, the laptop was already known to be authentic. It had been authenticated by the FBI, who had possession of it for a year at that point.

    1. “It had been authenticated by the FBI, who had possession of it for a year at that point.”

Amazing that Chris Wray didn’t feel any compunction to mention that little fact during the election.

    2. The laptop was, but…the majority of the emails were not. That’s a point of distinction that the FBI admitted. Then there’s the problem of proving the chain of custody. It’s not clear how often the contents of the hard driver were copied and how if they were manipulated by Giuliani. If Trump cheats at golf he certainly cheats at everything else.

      1. George, while your talking out of your rear end yet again, why not talk some more about the FARA law? You sounded so erudite and well-versed on that topic, you didn’t sound at all like you were just desperately copying and pasting whatever you could find from google.

        1. George doesn’t deserve any benefit of the doubt. I wouldn’t pee on her if he were on fire. Trolls like her are the lowest form of scum.

        1. Don’t bother. You’d have more luck teaching a dog calculus than getting Georgie here to admit the truth, that her weak talking points are lies.

        1. You’re assuming that there was anything to remove before her lobotomy. In George’s case, it was always an empty void.

        1. You inadvertently said “George” and “know” in the same sentence. This, of course, is an impossibility, as George knows nothing.

      2. @George

I honestly don’t think you are paid, and that on its face is just sad. The delusions you hold onto are something that should probably be studied. I would not be at all surprised if you corresponded with Squeeky Fromme. By all means, continue haunting a blog like a very irritating ghost, because in real life, that is all that you are. On the off-chance that you are paid, keep lighting those dollars on fire, you convince no one of anything whatsoever.

    3. Jeff L,
With all the evidence of who and to what lengths people in the FBI went to, to conspire against the first Trump admin and the American people, if there are any emails that were damaging to Trump, they would have to be questionable.

  5. Unfortunately it is unlikely that these obviously corrupt people will be charged and convicted of any crime. We will have to be satisfied that the continued release of evidence of their corrupt actions plus the investigations will ensure their legal bills will be high, and perhaps more importantly that historians will not be kind in the narratives yet to be written.

  6. I am so angry at some people that words can’t express. Just this past 4th of July my wife texted her sister a “graphic” celebrating the 4th of July which also suggested people pray for those men and women that lost their lives in service to our country. Her sister angrily shot back that “she had no reason to celebrate the 4th because of the Russian agent in the White House”. She told my wife “she just had to get that off her chest”. My wife, a very devout Christian, was saddened by her sister’s response, but dropped it, not wanting a confrontation. For the last 8+ years, my wife has constantly tolerated their baseless nonsensical slurs against President Trump. Now we see who the real criminals are, the very Democrats they worshipped. We will celebrate our 55th anniversary this August. Because of the love and admiration for my beautiful wife, I am forced to contain my outrage at them. But I wish so badly I was free to tell them how I feel about them in no uncertain terms. Why is it that Democrats think they can insult their family members and somehow think our lack of a an outraged response is somehow OK? Why does it seem that Democrats resort to violence in both words and deeds and think they’re somehow justified?

    1. Look at the trolls here. You and your wife are considered to be subhumans by them. They literally laugh when you suffer and die.

      1. Trolls on a blog are one very sorry thing, and we can respond in kind to them. But family members should keep their rudeness to their own. Neither my wife nor I have ever said anything even remotely negative to their Democrats heroes and heroines. We simply never mention anything political to them. Celebrating the 4th of July or praying for the souls of those that sacrificed everything for our nation is not a political statement. It’s nothing more than a Christian patriot of any political affiliation should celebrate. My in-laws call themselves Christians. So what the devil is wrong with them?

        1. Their politics are their religion, their whole lives. It’s all they think about, it’s all they talk about. You’ll never be able to engage with them, you’d have better luck talking a suicide bomber out of pressing the button.

        2. Hey look here, Calvin is pretending to be a martyr. Nothing worse than a troll who thinks he’s a martyr.

          1. Hahahahahaha, good one sweetie. Did that comment earn you another nickel? You’ll be able to buy that pack of gum any day now!!

          2. How dare you, you don’t know anything about me, my wife, or our families. Indeed trolls exist as you have just demonstrated. To be fair, I don’t have to tolerate your smart arsed crud. So let me clear up my thoughts on you by your comment. You are an uneducated troll, living in mommy’s basement, and still suckle on your mommy’s teats. Your mommy and daddy are terribly disappointed that you refuse to grow up and take on any responsibility. Sure they gave you a car, but you can’t even pay the insurance. You’re on their cell phone family plan but never offer to pay your share. Mommy pays for your internet service and streaming TV. Your favorite programs are The View, Keith Olbermann, and Sesame Street. The friends you think you have all laugh at you behind your back. Your family tolerates you and your nonsense but deep down wish you would move to state a 1,000 miles away. In reality, you’re just a sad little cretin that’s sexually excited hiding behind a keyboard and posting what you think are intelligent witty remarks but in truth, read more like some spoiled 12 year old’s delusional rantings.

    2. Calvin, you are not alone. I have a similar situation in my family. More generally, in my experience liberals have no qualms insulting conservatives with baseless accusations. To take one example of many, some years ago my wife’s best friend from college said she hoped my boss lost his job. She was aware that that would also mean me losing my job. But my boss was a Republican so it didn’t matter to my wife’s friend how that comment would land with my wife. My wife took it in stride and didn’t complain. But after that, they were not so close friends as before. And another example: my brother has TDS and he slanders Trump in every sentence he speaks, making up absurd claims. He knows I like Trump, but that has no effect on his speech at all. One time some years ago I put my two cents in about how he was wrong, but that just led to a heated argument. After that, I just started ignoring it, or maybe just rolled my eyes. But I have less interest in doing things with him now than I used to. I’m still civil and he is still family, but I don’t go out of my way like before, because I know I’m just going to have to endure a stream of TDS comments, and I have no interest in another argument.

      1. Oldmanfromkansas says,

“ More generally, in my experience liberals have no qualms insulting conservatives with baseless accusations. ”

Conservatives have no qualms about insulting liberals with baseless accusations either. In fact they do it on this blog every day including you. Hypocrisy much?

        1. Hey Georgie, can we ever get that sweet sweet Maxwell testimony that you referred to earlier? I’d hate to think that you were lying again, but given your track record of lying and prevaricating, I might just have to.

        2. If you could walk in my shoes for just one day you’d see how ridiculous you sound. And your response is not even responsive to my comment, since I was obviously talking about interpersonal interactions, not some blog.

          1. Oldmanfromkansas, it is responsive to your comment. You lament the attitude of your relatives and their comments. Yet are oblivious to the fact that many here including you do the same thing to others. The interactions are the same regardles of where they occurr or who does them. Cognitive dissonance on your part perhaps?

            1. Hey George, when are you going to get around to giving us that non-existent Maxwell testimony? I know that it will be hard, since it doesn’t exist, but since you lie so easily you should be able to just make it up. We have faith in you!!

            2. georgie, this has NOTHING to do with “cognitive dissonance,” and it’s strange you didn’t accuse him of “kruger-dunning(sic) syndrome,”
when will you learn that your incessant ability to pretend you are educated or smart…just isn’t flying.

      2. Thank you oldmanfromkansas. Sadly, it is a bit comforting to know I am not the only one that finds themselves in such a situation. It’s a dilemma because too many Democrats can’t seem to honor or respect the feelings of other people.

      3. OldManFromKS,
That is true. Personally I think it is a demonstration of a under developed mind. Like a six year old. They blindly believe anything they are told by MSM. Then, when actual evidence or facts prove not only MSM wrong but them wrong as well, they will not acknowledge it. They just ignore what they said ever happened or, my favorite, “Well, that sounded like something he would do!”
And they wonder why the Democrat party is polling so low even among Democrats.

        1. @Upstate

I think so too. A lot of people like you have described used to be able to skate by more readily. The result of shifting that has been like kicking a hornets’ nest.

      4. @oldman

My brother is the same, and anyone a centimeter right of center is a ‘Christian Nationalist’ to him (even, inexplicably, if they are non-religious). Indeed, it’s like a tic, and it is bound to come up in literally any and every conversation. Attempts at dialogue result in his hanging up on you and stewing for days.

At some point one realizes this behavior, so divorced from reality, has nothing whatever to do with politics. If one can take a step back, it’s actually remarkable to watch someone tormenting themselves so, strictly within the confines of their own mind.

If it were just a difference of opinion, that’d be fine. TDS is a bridge farther than that. It’s crazy.

  7. “Unnamed officials then leaked false information to the media about non-existent intelligence implicating Trump.”

Why not just come out and name Adam Schiff directly? His face was all over CNN’s coverage at the time, and he consistently claimed that he had direct evidence of his lies, which he never produced. His popularity among democrats grew enough to get him elected as a California senator, largely as a result of these lies.

    1. Schiff never produced evidence because said evidence never existed. It’s just that simple.

      1. I wonder how many houses Schiff claims as his primary residence. Joe Isuzu has more credibility (and better hair!)

    1. *. ^^^ Hope he burns in hell, you say, Jeanne?

And I hope he recognizes his crimes and finds God in redemption by the kindness, mercy, and pity of Jesus Christ the saver, rescuer, redeemer of those who were blind but now they see.

*. Be careful what you say here in this blog for there are those who speak curses. It’s not what goes into your mouth but what comes out of your mouth. Presumably those are words and not vomit.

PT, much of what is is being done is Shakespeare’s tragedies. Look to the 7 deadly sins to identify which crime. Ghislaine Maxwell, the madam of the massage parlor, may have been Iago? 🤔

      1. Well, I REALLY want him, ALL OF THEM, to go to jail, but I doubt very seriously they will EVER actually be held accountable and/or see jail time. None of them will. But they WILL BE held accountable by God. This may be the only way. I am NOT speaking out of hate. I want accountability for their crimes and our messed up system is too corrupt to actually hole them accountable.

    2. *. Hate is a deadly sin, Jeanne. Don’t let the devil get you. Your emotion is understandable but anger is deadly, too.

  8. It would have been a dereliction of duty to ignore credible reports that Russia was helping one side of a presidential campaign. That is even more so that we know Russia was helping Trump, and the Trump campaign knew about it.

    1. Hahahahaha, more of the same, eh? Just lie out of your rear end, and expect people to waste time refuting it? You’re such a liar, and you’re just terrible at trolling. Literally nothing that you wrote is true, you’re pathetic. For your own sake, please stop.

    2. Earth to Anonymous. Even the Washington Post and The New York Times have been forced to admit that Russia, Russia, Russia was a hoax. These towers of virtue have, after saying the opposite for years, admitted that the Hunter Biden laptop is real and not Russian disinformation. Illusions are powerful forces but nevertheless they remain illusions. Perhaps your family members should consider taking your car keys away.

        1. Hahahahahaha, good one bozo. You just body slammed him with that one. Why are you so lame? Does it run in the family?

  9. Who’s taking odds that none of these creeps will see the inside of a court room?

    1. As a white male, I’m increasingly embarrassed to be associated in any way with John Brennan.

  10. I’d like to know what evidence Obama relied on to order the revised ICA. My impression is that he is too smart to have just ordered it to muck up Trump’s presidency. There must be some sort of plausible reason – even if it is wrong or misguided. It can’t just be that he is an azzhole willing to abuse his power to order the IC to produce a fraudulent ICA brief, is he?

Why would all the IC “professionals” just go along with it? At least someone with an ounce of integrity would have blown the whistle, no? Or resigned and gone public? Something must have driven it.

Then again, they voluntarily chose to disgrace themselves with the garbage letter questioning the authenticity of Hunter’s laptop. So maybe they are ALL thoroughly corrupt or incompetent or both. If so, then we need to know that, too.

Obama has immunity. It’s not necessary for the DOJ to give him immunity to testify, but put it in writing anyway and make him submit to an interview. We need to know exactly why he made that decision.

    1. Reason? To remain in power and not have his work undone. Obviously to create an atmosphere for DJT presidency mired in muck. They’ve pulled out all stops including the judiciary and border. The US must not rise again.

It may to some degree rise again but with mortal wounds. Hell is not a place for the US but it’s an heroic effort to save it.

      Shakespeare indeed.

  11. I guess we were all fooled by Brennan, Clapper and Comey — for a while.
It’s really sad and disturbing that our CIA, DOJ and FBI could have such biased leadership.

    1. I never bought a word of their lies, ever. What’s really amazing to me is that the left used to be anti police state, anti FBI, anti CIA. Now look at them, literally running the places, doing things that Nixon and crew couldn’t even dream of!

  12. Congress has a job to do. They were lied to, and in effect, the entire country was lied to.

Why does it take 9 years to get to the evidence? If we are serious about protecting public opinion from such vile, manipulative interference, these calculating whoppers need to be exposed in 9 DAYS.

Congress needs to give our investigative reporters the power tools of instant subpoena and compelled deposition under oath.

There will always be more John Brennans, Mike Morrells and Antony Blinkens — shrewd, cunning operators with savvy lawyers who will go as far as it allows in duping their fellow Americans for political effect. They’ll do it to win elections. They’ll do it to goad us into a foreign war. They’ll do it to protect their buddies and donor interests.

When the law is not working, you have to change the law. I wonder why Prof. Turley can’t bring himself to this conclusion.

    1. I’m more concerned about why the FISA court doesn’t seem to care that they were repeatedly and provably lied to, and they did nothing in response.

    2. Ah, Antony Blinken. I heard him try to play guitar over in Ukraine I believe, and I immediately thought “stick to your day job”. Then I remembered how absolutely awful he was as the Secretary of State, so then I figured let him play, he was bursting eardrums but he was probably doing less damage to humanity with his guitar.

  13. Hey everyone, George the serial liar is back to regale us with some more of his brilliant ‘insights”. Be sure to point at laugh at the pathetic loser as desperately attempts to impress Turley with his inanities. Thanks for the laughs, George!!

      1. Hahahahahaha good one sweetcakes!!! The white knight troll comes out in defense of another troll. Can you ask Georgie why she lied about Maxwell’s testimony? The testimony that doesn’t exist? We’re all ears!! I can’t believe that you claim to get paid for this kind of trolling, a five year old could do better.

      2. Anonymous likes to hang around long enough to tag along like a lost puppy whenever I post. He just can’t handle complex opinions so he reverts to insults and put-downs because he has nothing to offer. It’s easier for Anonymous because it doesn’t require thinking. Just pavlovian responses.

        1. Hey George, can you give us a link to that amazing Maxwell testimony that you seemingly lied about? We just can’t find it, no matter how hard we look, probably because it doesn’t exist. But you claim to have seen it, so we’re hoping that you’re not lying again. Thanks a bunch sweetie.

  14. I do not believe someone like John Brennan was ever overpowered by a romantic “wanderlust”. People like Brennan are motivated by the accumulation of power over others. Luckily they usually come to a bad end of their own making and die friendless “betrayed by their compraitriots”. I hope this pattern will continue in his case in spades.

  15. Gabbard’s release of the “new” evidence on the “Russia hoax” doesn’t provide any significant evidence. It’s the equivalent of the phase 1 Epstein files release. A big production showing the release of information that is nothing new. Remember, Trump essentially called Gabbard a liar when he said her intelligence assessment of Iran was wrong. If Gabbard is so bad at her job why is anything she offers credible. Turley seems to have “forgotten” about that.

    1. Hey George, you said that there was copious evidence “all over the internet” of Fox News blurring into advocacy journalism, but we just can’t seem to find it. Since you’re so smart, could you help us out? Otherwise it sure looks like another big George lie, and that just can’t be, George would never lie. Cough.

      1. You “can’t seem to find it” because you are not really looking for it and because your deep partisan ship you will not acknowlege any of the evidence. It’s pointless to prove anything to you. You’re just here to a troll. I can tell you get desperate when you keep begging for a response when I know you are perfectly capable of finding the evidence you seek. That’s why you always post anonymously. I too would be embarrassed by what you post.

        1. Hey George, could you help us out and point us to that damning Maxwell testimony? I mean, we all know that it doesn’t exist, and that you just lied and made that up, but since you’re so smart you can prove us wrong. Thanks sweetcakes!!

  16. So you can try to overthrow a legally elected administration, lie and deny, conceal the truth for five years and you’re safe from justice. If that’s the way it is it can be done over and over again, is this what America has come too? All the lives of American men and women who’ve been sent to other countries to preserve foreign justice and democracies and we can’t preserve our own. We’re hypocrites.

    1. First off, they did not “try an overthrow”. You have no idea what their intent was. Good thing you ain’t a lawyer.

      1. Hahahahahaha, scintillating insight!! You get paid for this? Seriously? You’d make more money going back to your old job under the highway overpass, and it would be more honest work.

      2. What we don’t need is a technocratic defense. Just be honest. The pollsters has Hillary up by 30 points over the summer of 2016. When she caught pneumonia and tried to pass it off as campaign trail fatigue, many began to question her authenticity (who might not have already). When she lost, she couldn’t believe it and started the false narrative about Trump-Russia collusion. It quickly gained traction with Obama and the bureaucratic deep state, who were fearful of a complete outsider gaining the Presidency.

The intent was paranoia-fueled, to turn the public against the new President toward the goal of weakening his reach over disrupting the status quo. Those intentions naturally went as far as seeding the ground for impeachment, Mike Pence at least being an experienced leader.

    2. According to Trump, you can. He set the standard on Jan 6. Plus he successfully argued that any president has immunity against any accountability.

Now he’s demanding Obama be prosecuted for doing what Trump essentially did. Obama is immune.

Trump is just upset about his inability to control the Esptein scandal narrative. A problem of his own creation.

      1. George, speaking of Epstein, can you get us that link to that Maxwell testimony? It sure doesn’t seem to even exist, but that would mean that we caught you lying again. Could you set us straight? Thanks chief!

  17. So Turley is still trying to provide cover for Trump’s baseless claim to distract from the Epstein files fiasco. He loves scandals. He was constantly alleging there was a Biden scandal when there was none. Now there’s a real one and he’s zipped up. Strange. The fact Trump can’t shake the growing Epstein scandal and Gabbard’s embarrassing attempt to assist him with “new” evidence just makes it worse. I thought Turley was smarter than that, apparently not.

Trump’s poll numbers are getting worse and now we have his Scotland trip marred with proof he cheats at golf. He sounds desperate to get rid of the Epstain files scandal he created. By attacking Obama and insinuating a crime was committed to distract from his deep connection with groomer Epstein he is effectively keeping the scandal alive. Obama will never be prosecuted nor any of his former staff. Obama is immune just like Trump. Apparently DNI Tulsi Gabbard forgot about that.

We can see this “new” Russia hoax theory is an attempt to deflect and distract. That’s why legacy media is not paying attention. They know the real story and they know Trump is trying hard to peddle BS.

If they can release these “newly” declassified documents about he “Russia hoax” they certainly can release the Epstein files anytime. Trump is deathly afraid of the implication that he was very much enjoying Epstein’s “service” becasue he was just the kind of pervert Epstein catered to.

    1. Hey Georgie!!! You’re back!!! Can you help us out and point us to that “damning” Maxwell testimony, you know, where you said that she lied “multiple times” under oath? We just can’t seem to find it, which is reasonable since she didn’t testify during her trial, so we’re all really confused by your incessant lying on this issue. Thanks a bunch sweetie!!

      1. HI Buddy! How are ya? You still can’t find it?! I thought you were tech savy. Maybe it’s because you keep changing what I said.

I know you missed me, I could tell you have been desperate for a response, any response. P.S. you’re not confused, you’re just not aware how ignorant you are.

        1. Hey liar George, could you give us some more of your deep thoughts about FARA and the legal issues around it? You’re so smart, and you don’t sound like a total idiot completely out of her depth at all when you opine on matters of law.

    2. The 22 yo association with Epstein was dredged up to cover the 9 yo plot to kneecap Trump.
And if the kneecap plot is such old news, why hasn’t the Pulitzer committee revoked the reporting prizes they handed out?

      1. Don’t bother with George. She has nothing to offer to the conversation, just dated talking points, smears, and outright lies when necessary. It’s a sad life being an unpaid internet troll, but by golly George is up to it.

        1. @Anonymous

Yes. The trolls respond to themselves to create the illusion of dialogue. And it is only by the generosity of our host to not censor anyone. The irony actually *isn’t* lost on them; they and their employers know full well and are just that shameless to exploit it. No amount of disdain would be sufficient on the part of free people for the modern left. The best we can do a lot of the time is mock and laugh at them, because they are indeed hilarious in an actually free country, something they would love to destroy.
