On MSNBC’s “All In,” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) doubled down on his pledge of legal retaliation against Trump officials and associates if Democrats retake power. He noted that Trump “sycophants” in the Department of Justice do not have immunity and will be pursued. The statement comes after the indictment of Letitia James for mortgage fraud. The statement suggests that the country could be in store for waves of purge politics in which parties fire or prosecute officials from the prior administration.
The comments come after the charging of Letitia James for mortgage fraud, a move widely viewed as retaliation for her own lawfare record.
On the program, Jeffries was asked about his prior threats of tit-for-tat actions against Trump supporters or enablers.
Host Chris Hayes noted, “You put a statement out in response to the news of Tish James’s indictment, in which you said, among other things, that those sycophants who aid and abet the president’s schemes will not be able to hide from serious legal consequences of their behavior. They will be held accountable. What do you mean by that?”
Jeffries responded that
“there are so many different corrupt sycophants within the Trump administration, including, but not limited to within the Department of Justice. Now, these people don’t have immunity. And the reality is the statute of limitations is five years, and there will be accountability with the next administration, if not before, when Democrats take back control of the House of Representatives.”
In the meantime, James is claiming victim status in the indictment despite being lawfare’s happiest warrior, who ran on a pledge to nail Trump if elected (without bothering to specify what that crime or offense might be). James is declaring, “I am fearless.” She is also shameless.
I have been critical of some of these cases, which followed a social media posting in which Trump chastised the Justice Department for not indicting a list of political opponents. Within days, Comey and James were indicted. That posting will feature prominently in the challenges to be filed for vindictive prosecution by both defendants. James is likely to raise the resignation of former acting U.S. Attorney Eric Siebert, who reportedly was forced out after objecting to the basis for indicting James.
Jeffries’ pledge suggests that cycles of purge politics are likely to continue unabated in this country.

The LEFT is going to freak out!!!
BREAKING: Nobel Peace Prize winner Maria Corina Machado dedicates award to Trump
Love it
DustOff,
Classy lady!
Upstate
For sure
OMG!!!
https://nypost.com/2025/10/10/us-news/nobel-peace-prize-winner-maria-corina-machado-dedicates-it-to-trump/
Trump played like violin by smart and capable woman who knows that he loves flattery and will roll over when he gets it.
OT
I said here months ago that the Nobel prize had been degraded to a bauble and that if it were one day given to Trump it wouldn’t be to honor him but an attempt to restore the bauble’s former dignity.
It was awarded to Maria Corina Machado, a truly noble person who immediately dedicated it to Trump who, she knows, is probably the only person in the world who can advance the struggle for freedom in Venezuela.
Maria and Trump still are beacons but the Nobel is looking more like a chunk of plastic awarded to an ugly person on a failing Hollywood game show with canned applause.
“It was awarded to Maria Corina Machado, a truly noble person who immediately dedicated it to Trump ”
I saw that. I’m not certain that having the Peace Prize winner dedicate it to someone who was ignorantly refused serious consideration for the award isn’t an even greater endorsement than being awarded the prize outright. Let’s see how the woke idiots among us try to spin this development.
@ Anon–
Some are already saying the same, that having the award dedicated to Trump by a truly great lady who received it is an honor that outstrips the Nobel committee.
The Nobel committee is made up of cowards and political lickspittles.
Maria, however, is courageous and has remained in the fight despite physical attacks.
A dedication from her is like a soldier receiving a Medal of Honor from another soldier who has earned the Medal of Honor. It is a priceless gesture.
As for the Nobel itself, they may have been afraid that Trump would refuse it as beneath his dignity; which it is.
Machado dedicating the prize to Trump was politically brilliant in many ways.
First – unlike many winners – she does deserve it.
But beyond that she confirms what the left constantly pooh poohs – that Trump is actually instrumental in important global and regional changes throughout the world.
And in doing so she secures Trump’s future involvement in her efforts in Venezuela.
The Peace prize drew global attention to her and Venezuela. But her dedication of it to Trump drew even more attention to her and Venezuelan.
She is also making clear to the world – that Trump is not at war with Venezuella or Venezuellans.
That he is at war with the Madoru regime that is engaged in narco trafficking to the US and that is flooding the US not just with drugs, but also with thugs.
There is now increasing reporting – both on Trumps involvement in Venezuela and Trump’s critical role in the mideast deal.
It is too early to tell if this is really going to bring about a lasting mideast peace – But there is absolutely zero doubt that while many many people were involved – this deal was only possible because of Trump.
Though I do find some of the reporting an analysis to be odd.
Purported a key factor in this deal was getting Trump to move back from clearing the palestinians out of Gaza.
It was self evident to me that Trumps suggesstion that Gaza be rebuilt without palestinians was just a negotiating ploy from the very begining. I have not read his book “the art of the deal” – buit it is a well know negotiating tactic to find a way to ask for all kinds of things that you do not actually want as baubels to trade away during the negotiating process.
Anyway the Guardian is reporting that getting Trump to back down from a future gaza without palestinians was a critical early step in the negotiating process.
And to an extent it was – NOT because it was something Trump was serious about, but because it signaled that Trump was willing to get serious and throw his weight into a deal if a real deal could be negotiated.
I am very hopeful – because the information on the negotiations that is slowly coming out indicate this is a very serious deal – that goes far beyond Hamas and Gaza, that this is a real effort to secure a peace deal between Israel and much of the remaining Arab nations and to do something about the palestinian issue that resolves it.
There are all kinds of complexties in this deal, in how it came about.
But the most important factor is that a very large number of powers involved want a PERMANANT end to this mess.
Israel’s more than a year long war in Gaza was a message to palestinians that Israel WILL destroy them if they do not agree to peace – that Israel is NOT going away – even the attacks against Hezbolla, and Iran as well as israel’s actions in syria were a message to the Palestinians and to the arab world – that if necescary Israel can take on ALL its enemies AT ONCE and win – again that Israel is NOT going away.
There are indications that the Palestinians both in Gaza and west bank – go the message, that the “dream” of “from the river to the sea” is nonsense, that Israel is not going anywhere.
That it is time to work towards a peaceful future.
The efforts of other Arab nations – and apparently ALOT of other arab nations were involved – first was only possible because of Trump’s extensive ties with these countries. Trump is the only person that both the arab leaders and the Israelis trust enough to make a deal. That Israel trust Trump not to sell them out, and that the Arabs trust Trump to assure that the Israeli’s stick to any deal.
A key factor in this deal was Israels attack on Hamas leaders in Qatar. That not only resulted in Trump telling Netanyahu behind the scenes to stop, but a US commitment to Qatar that a future attack would be seen as an attack on the US. That is actually a very big deal – not just relative to Israel. Arab nations have sought US bases specifically because they hoped that would bring them under a NATO like umbrella of protection by the US.
Trump made that explicit with regard to Qatar.
Lots of hopes have been dashed in the mid east. But some Deals have actually held.
Israel and Eqypt reached a peace deal that has held for much of my life.
Israel has not been in Conflict with Jordan or Saudi Arabia since 1967.
The Abraham accords were stressed by this recent conflict – and especially by the bumbling of Biden and his people.
But they held – and they held even while Trump was out of power and being persecuted. So even though Trump;s personal relations are often key to making these deals. They are Not key to sustaining them – and that is important.
Neither Israel nor the arab nations are going to buy a deal that ends when Trump is no longer president.
Possibly the most critical element of this deal is the disempowerment of Hamas.
Netanyahu may not get their total obliteration – it is near certaint hat Hamas will breach aspects of this deal.
But they are being removed from Power in Gaza. The Palestinian people or a substantial portion of them want or accept that, arab nations want that. That means that even if they continue to exist – they will NOT be viewed as legitimate by Israel, by arab nations, by the UN or the world. There will be SOME new leadership in Gaza and it will not be Hamas.
This also empowered the palestinian leaders in the West Bank. They did NOT join this war with Israel over the past year plus. That has made them a more acceptable and legitimate representative of palestinian people moving into the future.
This deal MAY stick – because Israel has a large numbers of parties it is negotiating with that WANT a deal, and WANT a permanent deal.
This deal MAY portend a significant shift in power in the mideast. The arab nations that are Part of this deal are likely to be part of not just a resolution and peace in Gaza – but broader peace throughout the mideast.
Hezbolla, Syria and Iran were not part of this negotiation – not as issues, not as participants.
But the same nations that are settling the Gaza/Palestinian question have the same interest in broader peace in the mideast.
Again this is the mideast – this could still blow up.
But this also could be as significant as the deals that have resulted in peace in Ireland.
She realizes that Trump is a crybaby who will wreck the US economy in order to make Venezuela suffer if he feels put out. The US exports oil it cannot refine and imports oil from Venezuela that it can refine, except when Trump has a hissy fit and tries to cut off that import, causing both the US and Venezuela suffer. Unlike Canada, which has many other customers for its products and relations with many other countries for Canadians to visit, Venezuela is a small country and too dependent on oil sales.
Woman Man Person Camera TV. That’s the level of Trump’s intellect. Covefe!
It’s made of brass shell casings sent to India and hammered into gold coins by the untouchables.
The earliest example I can think of when the Nobel prize turned into a carefully polished turd was when they awarded it to the Egyptian Arab master terrorist, Yassar Arafat – the original “Palestinian”. A chip off the ol’ block was Yassar: his uncle was the Grand Mufti who spent WWII pestering and urging Hitler to hurry up with completing the Final Solution for the world’s Jews. While Yassar proclaimed himself to be Palestinian, his relatives called themselves Arabs.

I believe that happened in 1993 or 94.
To Anonymous, from below:
“How can it be retaliation when there are legitimate allegations of mortgage fraud against her not only regarding that property in Virginia but also with another property she owns in New York, which may also result in charges? Trump didn’t manufacture those allegations like she manufactured allegations against him, and after she had run for office promising to “get him” any way she could. She appears to have actually committed mortgage fraud at least twice, all on her own and apparently pre-dating her campaign to get Trump. So how is charging her retaliation for what she did to him if she actually committed the alleged crimes?”
How can it be??? It can “be”, because Jeffries is not trying to communicate in any rational sense, he is just making word sounds. Like the sounds a chicken makes as it clucks around the yard eating bugs. It’s just noise, in support of a melodrama. That is why you see Democrats like Klarman and Porter (and “X” here, who I suspect is aka DMacf) reaking out over the very idea of answering direct questions, or engaging in follow-up questions. Melodrama. Here is what I found on J H Kunstler’s blog last week, this quote::
“Instead of winning on issues, the left resorts to melodramas that no one believes in anymore.” —Victor Davis Hanson
———
Which led me to the whole article from February 13, 2025, of which here is an excerpt. You should read the whole article:
[re: Pete Hegseth]
There was no discussion in those ad hominem attacks on really critical questions for all of our security concerns. Are we short artillery shells? Is the traditional triad of submarine-based, missile-based, and airplane-based nuclear deterrent, does it still work? Are we short Javelins? Should we be looking more at drones after the wars in the Middle East and Ukraine? None of that came up.
It was, “Were you drinking? Did you have adultery, adultery, adultery?” He’s admitted he was a flawed person in his personal life for many years. And now, all of a sudden, he’s on his way to be the new defense secretary.
And what happens? Is there a great new debate over a defense issue? No, we’re told that his former sister-in-law, a very strong Democrat that his brother divorced, has now gone to a Democratic welcoming law firm to say that she heard his former wife say that she heard his former wife say that he was cruel, or he was dangerous, or he might beat her, or he drank too much.
Samantha Hegseth, his second wife, has said it was not true and that her former sister-in-law was simply trying to work for the Democrats to stop this nomination. And the divorce settlement shows that neither one had any complaints about spousal abuse. And yet, again, that ate up another day.
Then Gen. [Mark] Milley came out of the woodwork. And now they’re releasing interviews that he thinks Donald Trump is a fascist and is the greatest threat in history to the United States. Are we having any discussion with Gen. Milley about the chain of command? Should we look at the Joint Chiefs [of Staff], the structure of them, to make sure that no one in this advisory capacity tries to interrupt the chain of command, as did Milley?
Should we make sure the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who’s an adviser only, does not call up his Chinese counterpart and warn him that he will tip him off if Donald Trump gives an order he disagrees with? No, we just heard “fascist, fascist, fascist,” and then that disagreed. Sometimes these distractions, these psychodramas, melodramas are very—what’s the word—trivial.
Now we’re discussing: “Is Donald Trump really president? He did not put his left hand on the Bible. Yeah, Melania had the Bible, but he didn’t reach for it. That must tell us something.” That took over 24 hours.
And, of course, we had Bishop Budde, I think her name is Mariann Budde. She was going to give this national prayer sermon. She gave it and then she hijacked her own sermon and started haranguing Donald Trump about being too harsh and he has to be merciful in the treatment of transgenders and illegal aliens.
Nothing about an open border where 80,000 to 100,000 people are killed through imported fentanyl. Nothing about criminal aliens that hurt and maim and kill Americans. Nothing about cutting in front of the line and hurt legal applicants. Nothing about overwhelming social services so that our poor don’t have the access that they previously had.
No, it’s just a, what? A performance art, virtue signaling way of getting attention. And indeed, the bishop went through all of the talk shows, “The View,” to highlight her confrontation with Donald Trump.
What am I getting at here in conclusion? The Left is out of ideas. They’re like an addict that is addicted and fixed on their next, I don’t know, melodrama. And they know that is destroying them. They know that people want substantive debate. They know they can’t do that because they’re on the losing end of that argument.
They know they should not continue with these psychodramas, the strife, strident, invective, and they can’t stop. Like a zombie addict, they can’t stop. In other words, to quote Talleyrand, again, “They’ve forgotten nothing and they’ve learned nothin
Ooops! That posted before I got the link in:
https://www.dailysignal.com/2025/02/13/like-a-zombie-addict-the-left-cant-stop-hating-maga/
The left can not distinguish between words and deeds – and they can not do so on many levels.
I have no idea whether Hegseth had a serious drinking problem, or c heated on his spouse or beat her.
There are some indications that MAY be true. If so – those should be dealt with in the appropriate domain.
What he says as Sec Def and more important what he has DONE are important.
If he is hypocritical – take him to task for that. But that does not alter the importance of the changes he is making.
What Trump says is sometimes impressive sometimes disturbing.
But what he has done is impressive.
Biden said good things and bad things.
As president he was a disaster.
As VP he was corrupt.
There is no doubt that Cook, James, and Schiff LIED on federal mortgages applications.
These are not major crimes – they do not typically land people in jail.
But they DO end up with felony convictions for people who are caught doing do.
To the extent that people like James, Cook Schiff frquently do NOT end up prosecuted for crimes like this
it is because of political connections or the fact that they will spend thousands even hundreds of thousands fighting and prosecutors do not NORMALLY wish to spend that much on small cases
That does not alter the FACT that these are crimes – and frankly MORE so that with ordinary people, they MUST have consequences.
Comey inarguably has committed many serious criminal acts. He is being prosecuted for only one – lying under oath to congress. Democrats shoudl be ashamed arguing that people do that all the time and should get away with it.
They had no problem going after Flynn, Papadoulis, Van Zandt, and myriads of others for far less consequential “lies” often ones no one could even find.
Even More importantly – Comey was the cheif federal law enforcement officer in the US.
Not only should he be tried and convicted – but honestly he should have the book thrown at him.
When those in the criminal justice system commit the same crimes as those THEY targeted,
They should see 10 times the consequences.
I expect that Comey is going to get let off the hook.
But I am not going to riot because of that.
I can reluctantly live with the Consequences for Comey being limited to being exposed as the crook that he is.
But that does not change the fact that he should be prosecuted – and with an honest judge and jury convicted
and sentenced harshley – BECAUSE he was the top law enforcement officer in the US and BECAUSE he prosecuted others for the same crimes.
Notice – Trump has not come up in any of this.
DOJ MIGHT not be letting these cases slide – because these people Went After Donald Trump.
But the cases exist – Because of the crimes they committed, Not their animus towards Trump.
DOJ should be going after these people – not because Trump has held DOJs feet to the fire – but because it is MOST important that those who enforce the law MUST also obey the law.
Trump is not above the law. Comey is not above the law, Schiff is not above the law.
Not bad, Floyd. Performance art is bad, their art is bad, the music is bad. Tina Turner sculpture in TN is awful, MLK with big feet is a nightmare, take a look in the museums and you find scratchings of speedball addicts.
Take a look at the sculpture from Rome and Greece and then look at the MLK sculpture. That’s a measure of how bad it is.
Cuckoos nest…nobama transformed it. No one knows what’s going on. States are engaged in independent foreign trade. It’s quite incredible.
Jeffries, as Bart Simpson would say, if you want free health care for illegal immigrants “eat my shorts.”
As I would say, bring your baseball bat to the street and it’s gonna get put where the sun don’t shine.
Dear Professor Turley. I am very disappointed that you didn’t show Jeffries picture wearing his signature Sombrero. A missed opportunity to show how the big hearted man wants to provide free health care to millions of illegal aliens. Without getting this health care provision for illegal aliens the Democrats will continue to keep the government closed. No place for illegal aliens to go potty in the national parks. The whole thing stinks.
Ay Caramba!
The game is on
The Trump administration began laying off federal workers on Friday, the 10th day of the U.S. government shutdown.
“The RIFs have begun,” Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought wrote on X, using the acronym for “Reductions in Force.”
“The Trump administration began laying off federal workers on Friday, the 10th day of the U.S. government shutdown.”
Should have begun days ago, imo, but good news, regardless.
Not days, decades and decades!
That made his day. He won’t rehire either. 17% reduction. He’ll say, thanks dems.
President Trump will just announce a ‘biden pardon’ with five minutes left in his term, pardoning everyone who served in his administration since 2015.
So Anonymous? Are you now saying the Biden pardons were wrong? One of the things I look forward to each day is reading you destroying your own previous arguments. Me be laughing out loud.
Absolutely – Trump should do precisely that. A vague and nebuously blanket pardon that is not specific about anything.
While like the Biden pardons – I do not think that has actual legal merit.
I do not beleive you can be pardoned for unspecified things you might have done.
But it will provide a road block to Democrats trying to return to their political lawfare.
What is different between What is being done now and what is being done before ?
First – DOJ is being very careful to prosecute people for ACTUAL crimes that they have ACTUALLLY done.
George is constantly saying “there is not evidence” or “there is no probable cause”
Honestly ?
Comey lied under oath. PERIOD. Is he entitled to due process – absolutely. Can he make all these legal claims such as statue of limitations – certainly. But there is no doubt he lied, no doubt there is probable cause.
If he gets off an a technicality – that happens.
Better 10 guilty people go free than one innocent is convicted.
That does not change the fact that he should be prosecuted.
Cook, Schiff and James lied on federal mortgage forms.
These are NOT crimes of the century – Comey, more so than they should have the book thrown at him.
Lying to congress (repeatedly) is more serious. It is also more serious because he was charged with and did prosecute others for the same thing.
Schiff should be prosecuted and convicted – but that is likely to result in a slap on the wrist.
Even the conspiring to leak classified information charge may not result in significant punishment.
Cook should face more serious consequences – she sits on the Federal Reserve. While she is not law enforcement – The federal reserve depends on the truthfulness of information – like mortage applications.
James should be slammed for lying on her mortgage application – she prosecuted Trump for a far less serious claim of nearly the same thing.
What is different – Trump represented the value of his properties to a lender who was obligated – both by notice provided by Trump and by the law and the requirements of due diligence to conduct their own valuations.
At very best – which itself is a dubious claim – you can argue that Trump may have deceived Deutche Bank about the value of his properties. He did NOT do so where he was by LAW required to be precise and accurate.
Further “VALUE IS SUBJECTIVE” – James’s claim was essentially that Trump lied about an oppinion not a fact.
James lied ABOUT A FACT – these properties were not her primary residence. And she lied where the law required her to be precise. And she lied – not to a lender with a due dilligence obligation, but to the federal government on a federal form.
And then she went out and prosecuted others for doing far less – She should have the book thrown at her.
If these people were being prosecuted for their revolting character – Schiff should be in jail forever.
But we prosecute people for the crimes they committed NOT for being revolting human beings.
And we punish people more harshly – or atleast should when they excercised power to prosecuted others for lessor offenses than they have commited themselves.
“The (Jeffries) comments come after the charging of Letitia James for mortgage fraud, a move widely viewed as retaliation for her own lawfare record.”
How can it be retaliation when there are legitimate allegations of mortgage fraud against her not only regarding that property in Virginia but also with another property she owns in New York, which may also result in charges? Trump didn’t manufacture those allegations like she manufactured allegations against him, and after she had run for office promising to “get him” any way she could. She appears to have actually committed mortgage fraud at least twice, all on her own and apparently pre-dating her campaign to get Trump. So how is charging her retaliation for what she did to him if she actually committed the alleged crimes?
Because prosecuting democrats for actual crimes is political retaliation.
While prosecuting republicans for fake ones is justice.
The amount of MAGA purging needed after Trump will rival the de-natzificaton of Germany. Every appointee, every judge, every political employee in the entire state and federal government needs to be purged.
Sorry to break it to you Anonymous. Concerning Trumps appeal in New York.
A sharply divided five-judge panel of the New York Appellate Division, First Department, UNANIMOUSLY agreed to strike down the monetary penalty.
The court ruled that the half-billion-dollar disgorgement order was an “excessive fine” that violated the U.S. and New York State constitutions.
The judges did not agree on a single majority opinion. A majority of the panel voted to uphold the trial court’s finding that Trump and his associates were liable for fraud, but did so “WITH GREAT RELUCTANCE ” to allow the case to proceed to the state’s highest court.
Even the left wing appointed judges in New York threw out the fine and sent the case to the higher court. Hey Anonymous look up the definition of reluctant and you might just learn something. NAH.
Automated bot MAGA response fail.
Antifa Automated anonymous bot response fail. Otherwise know as a classic fascist / progressive fail. Lunacy also.
Then lets start NOW – lets start with a purge of all the Woke ACTUAL fascists.
Lets start with every Biden and Obama apointment, “Every appointee, every judge, every political employee in the entire state and federal government needs to be purged.”
Basicaly Jefferies is only promising to resume doing what they did the last few times they had control.
Professor Alan Dershowitz, lifelong Democrat, believes them and is going to support Republicans during the midterms.
@Young
Pretty much, and their disdain for our intelligence is such they honestly think we’ve forgotten the past ten years. They are clowns. Forget the emperor’s clothes, we are talking about the emperor’s (emperors’?) brain(s) at this point. It (they) is/are the tiny ones. Ridiculous.
Who would have thought that the enemy within would give away their nefarious plans to topple and take over our constitutional republic. But, then again, their actions are self evident.
Obama and the death cult in fundamentally transforming the United States taking it from a 1st world down to a 3rd world shathole you mean? Anti white, anti Christian, anti freedom, unburdening themselves of all that was?
They never learn.
IT’S AI. AI IS CRANKING OUT GARBAGE. BE HUMAN AND SMARTER THAN A MACHINE. NO, MEN DO NOT COMPETE IS WOMENS SPORTS. IF YOURE INTERSEX SEE A MEDICAL DOCTOR. PRAYER DOESNT CURE APPENDICITIS.
Just screech like a chimp. Congress…
When are we as nation going to finally acknowledge that every single aspect of policy is being absolutely driven by the inability of an orange b hole to keep his little mushroom head pedo boner in his pants???
And you Anonymous defended pedo grooming books in Florida schools. We haven’t forgotten. Thank you for reminding us.
TiT,
One good thing about our leftist friends, they can and do always show us and the whole world how low they are willing to go. Moderate, sane and normal Democrats dont even want them in the party.
Democrats, if you want to win elections again, you have got to get the stupid and crazy, to include Jeffries, out of your party!
Anonymous must have realized that he lost the argument because his bot is now spewing foul language. (It is, of course, protected speech)
So little intelligence in your reply……. time out for weirdos of the left like you.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan said impeachment of judges who issue “stupid” rulings thwarting President Trump is “on the table”.
I eagerly await Turley’s comprehensive analysis of this point of view.
You will wait a LOOOOOONG time.
Thoughts of a rather hot place freezing over come to mind
This is most likely moot because R’s are taking the steps to never lose power, but D’s are bound to use every tool against the R’s that are being used by R’s now. Biden should’ve taken advantage of the immunity the SCOTUS gave him at the end his term. Tremendous f up not to do it…, and it all could’ve been justified on national security guidelines since trump, like you Turls, is Russian asset.
But let’s address the question you’re trying to deflect: how are R’s going to continue to squash those pics of trump with his pedo boner around 14 yr olds, especially when Epstein ruined his bestie status with trump by blackmailing him so hard with the pics that uncle vlad had to pay him off???
What is most discouraging is the gleeful announcement of “lawfare” intent by then candidate for NY attorney general, NYC attorney Alvin Bragg, and now the man who is itching to be the next Speaker of the House. This only provokes an opposite reaction that will not end well.
The “cycle of purge politics” recalls to mind a historic cycle of purge politics enacted during the late Roman Republic due to the rivalry of the factions supporting Gaius Marius and Lucius Cornelius Sulla. This rivalry started a pattern that was continued through the rivalry of Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus (Pompey) and Julius Caesar. After the death of Julius Caesar this rivalry was continued to the end of the Republic by Marc Antony and Gaius Octavius (Eventually Augustus).
Where are we going with the cycle of purge politics? I hope not down the path of the Roman Republic.
“Where are we going with the cycle of purge politics? I hope not down the path of the Roman Republic.”
It seems to me that we had taken a good many large strides down that road long before the current partisan warfare began…
How in the world did Americans ever obtain and acquire America if not through determination and resolve?
Where in the world are the American Founders and their Posterity?
Is the sole edict of the Constitution to give the country away?
Here’s a simple solution to Jeffries’ threat: never allow Democrats to again assume power. Threat eliminated. The Republic endures.
There’s one thing we know for sure. When Trump puts out a teaser we can know what’s yo come in the future. Trump says that there are some big time Democratic supporters who are paying ANTIFA to riot.
Kamala raised a lot of money to bail them out of jail and it won’t be long now before we know what billionaire Democratic donors contributed to the get out of jail free card for the ANTIFA killers in Portland.
Over the top you say. Let me present a quote by a Democratic leader when speaking about a Republican.
Jones described a scenario in which Gilbert “gets two bullets to the head,” followed by a wish that the Republican lawmaker’s children “die in their mother’s arms.
@Thinkitthrough
This is something I would LOVE to see. ‘Grassroots’, ‘just an idea’, my a$$. These are funded agitators, ‘professional protestors’ who clearly veer to the extreme left – and at this point they make their living this way. The money is coming from somewhere. Even the Aryan Youth etc., who were despicable in the extreme, and with whom I had personal encounters with at one time, pale by comparison. Anyone on the left with a history of supporting them in any way, shape, or form deserves to be tarred and feathered and locked up.
Marco Rubio’s days are now officially numbered !!!
He signed on to a letter recommending María Corina Machado for the Nobel Peace Prize, that she was awarded today.
I wonder who will be our new Sec. of State ???

@Anonymous
Double yawn. Really, troll another site, y’all. Triple yawn.
“ In the meantime, James is claiming victim status in the indictment despite being lawfare’s happiest warrior, who ran on a pledge to nail Trump if elected (without bothering to specify what that crime or offense might be).”
She did openly say what she was going to do. It turns out Trump did commit a crime; he was found liable for fraud.
It’s obvious Trump wants his revenge but in the process, he stupidly undermined them because he can’t seem to shut up and let his lawyers do the work.
Here’s who X really is. He is a compatriot of a man running to be the Attorney General in Virginia.
This mans name is Jay Jones and here is what he said. Jones described a scenario in which Gilbert “gets two bullets to the head,” followed by a wish that the Republican lawmaker’s children “die in their mother’s arms. X should call for Jones’s exiting the race for Attorney General. Will X remain silent on this issue? My bet is that X being a card carrying member of ANTIFA will not have a word to say.
We are waiting X. My plan today is to keep asking you if you still endorse your fellow Democratic brother in arms.
@Thinkitthrough
No, I feel confident in saying ‘X’ is George, among other monikers, and it’s the same old tired sheet. At this point he isn’t even a mosquito that can bite, just a fly buzzing around you swat off the table or dispel with vinegar before you finally get fed up and smack it into mush with a rolled up magazine. Flies may have a thousand eyes, but they see nothing and are stupid.
