Two Alleged Antifa Members Charged with Terrorism-Related Crimes

I recently wrote about the effort of leading politicians, pundits, and the press to deny the existence of Antifa as violence on the left rises around the country. Even Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison (D) insisted that “nobody” knows what the left-wing terrorist organization Antifa is and that it does not exist. However, he previously promoted the “Antifa Handbook” in 2018 and praised the group as terrifying Trump. Rep. Dan Goldman (D., N.Y.) dared anyone to name a single member of Antifa. The Justice Department just named two in what is believed to be the first terrorism-related prosecution of Antifa members.

Federal prosecutors have charged two North Texas men, Cameron Arnold and Zachary Evetts, who are accused of helping orchestrate an attack on an ICE detention center in Alvarado. They are charged with providing material support to terrorists, attempted murder of officers and employees of the U.S., and discharging a firearm in relation to a crime of violence.

On the night of July 4, several masked individuals dressed in black vandalized vehicles and security cameras in the ICE parking lot and then opened fire on an Alvarado police officer who approached them, seriously wounding one officer.

According to the indictment, Cameron Arnold yelled, “Get to the rifles,” as police responded to the attack.

“Seconds later, coconspirator-1 [Arnold] opened fire on the officers, striking the Alvarado officer in the neck area as the unarmed correctional officers ducked and ran for cover. The wounded officer fell to the ground but was able to return a few shots. Coconspirator-1 continued to fire additional rounds until his rifle jammed. The attackers then left the scene.”

ICE found fliers bearing messages like, “FIGHT ICE TERROR WITH CLASS WAR!” and “FREE ALL POLITICAL PRISONERS” at the scene.

The DOJ describes Antifa “as a militant enterprise made up of networks of individuals and small groups primarily ascribing to a revolutionary anarchist or autonomous Marxist ideology, which explicitly calls for the overthrow of the U.S. government, law enforcement authorities, and the system of law.”

As I discussed in my book, The Indispensable Right: Free Speech in an Age of Rage.” Antifa is the most violent, anti-free speech group in the nation.

By design, Antifa avoids typical leadership hierarchies and organizational structures. Antifa was first created in the 1920s, associated with the Weimar-era German communist group Antifaschistische Aktion. It has always emphasized anonymity and secrecy to evade law enforcement in carrying out violent attacks.

The indictment details how this group used encryption systems to conceal their communication.

The group allegedly showed up with over 50 firearms that were purchased in Fort Worth, Grand Prairie, Dallas, and other locations. That included numerous AR-platform rifles.

Former House Judiciary Chair Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) was widely ridiculed for denying the existence of Antifa.

Others on the left have joined Goldman in this absurd claim. Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel committed part of his monologue to assure viewers that Antifa is no more than a mythical “chupacabra.” “You understand there is no Antifa,” he said. “This is an entirely made-up organization.”

Law enforcement officials like former FBI Director Christopher Wray have long debunked the deniers like Goldman. “Antifa is a real thing,” said Wray.

I have testified about Antifa before Congress, run columns on the organization for over a decade, and wrote a book discussing Antifa. Nevertheless, I opposed declaring Antifa a terrorist organization due to free speech concerns, but I also know that it is very real.

The Administration clearly chose this case carefully for the first terrorism-related case. The level of concealment and coordination reinforces the view of an organizational identity and machine.

In the indictment, the government alleges that “Some Antifa Cell members discussed logistics, previous site reconnaissance, and locations of security cameras at the facility. They exchanged a map of Prarieland and the surrounding area that showed the locations of nearby police stations.” One individual allegedly said that one of the groups would be “bringing a wagon to hold armor and rifles.”

In the end, even if the terrorism-related charge fails, the remaining counts will be difficult to defeat as a whole, and the government only needs one or two counts to secure a lengthy prison sentence.

Here is the indictment: United States v. Arnold

  1. The Democrat Party is refusing to admit that they are flatline, rigor mortis, stick a fork in them, they are done. The only tool left in their mafioso toolbox is to use violence so that people kneel before them, much like they did to blacks with KKK demonstrations and lynchings. 🎵Meet the new boss, Same as the old boss.🎵

Ruy Teixeria, former advisor to Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, left the Democrat Party because the party had morphed into far-left progressivism. Teixeria notes on his website, the Liberal Patriot the findings of a recent poll:

Today’s Democrats have a similar problem. Nobody really knows what they stand for besides being really, really against Trump. That makes it hard to have a recognizable vision for the country since it’s a purely negative politics. What kind of society are Democrats aiming for and how would ordinary people find their place in it?

The problem this presents is underscored by recent survey results from the Searchlight Institute. Their survey queried respondents on what each party wants for your life, covering marriage, having children, being able to retire, being able to regularly go on vacation, having a good job, owing a home, being your own boss, owning a car or truck, feeling stable in your personal life, and creating wealth for your children. Together these attainments make up the basics of what has traditionally been seen as a good life.

The chart below (see link) shows how Democrats stack up relative to Republicans on these various attainments. The news is not good for Democrats; indeed, it’s terrible. One of the only “advantages” Democrats have on the chart is that respondents are more likely to say Democrats want none of these attainments for their life. Other than a modest three point advantage on “feeling stable in your personal life,” Democrats are behind the GOP on every other life attainment.

The poll was done by Searchlight Institute, an organization founded and run by Adam Jentleson, former Deputy Chief of Staff to Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, and analytics done by Charlotte Swasey, member of Senator Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign and Kate Davis, who interned on Senator Chuck Schumer’s national press team. “Searchlight Institute” is bona fide far left. Their recent poll, run August 1 – August 11th, and published 9 October 2025, paints a vivid picture of what Americans think of Democrats:

The good news for Democrats is that they’re narrowly winning on “feeling stable in your personal life” (38% think Democrats want it for them, 35% think Republicans want it for them). The bad news for that party is literally everything else: marriage, children, creating wealth, and being your own boss are all far more associated with Republicans by double digits.

Even Democrats are not very convinced that their party wants them to have the traditional markers of a good life.

The results of the upcoming Nov elections will be a death knell for the Democrats. All that will be remaining of them are their low IQ orcs with bad hair and short life spans, and zombies like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Dick Durbin, Richard Blumenthal, Ron Wyden, et al. Sprinkling a little bit of holy water on them will do the trick. That or a wreath of garlic and a wooden stake.

      1. Apples and oranges. One immature conversation between kids, versus years of nationwide violence by thousands of demo-fascist shock troops. Pfffft.

        1. What is your definition of a “kid”? At least 8 of the individuals were between the ages of 24 and 35. If you think those are “kids”, do you think it is right to send kids to war? Last time I checked, 18 was the age of maturity.

Would love to hear how a 35 year old in a leadership role is a “kid.” Was Charlie Kirk a “kid”? Come on, man.

          1. Oh, well that changes everything. Now that you mention that, I’d much rather have years and years of violent protests, attacking police officers, burning down cities, destroying thousands of small businesses, putting people out of work, interfering with the apprehension of violent criminals, and killing dozens of people. I mean, any of that pales, I tell you, PALES in comparison to a 35 years old using some vulgar language in one conversation.

            (eye-roll)

            1. oldman, none of what you suggest happened to the extent you claim. No cities were burned down. 99% of the protests were peaceful. As to killing dozens of people, one third of all murders of strangers are done by police. A people should be willing to fight back against a murderous government. The US fought a Revolutionary War over less grievance. I expect you would have backed King George.

              1. “99% of the protests were peaceful.”

Ah yes, the “mostly peaceful riots and insurrection”. Where did you crib that line from if not from CNN? As always, communist Democrats are as bad at math as they are at being decent human beings:

Biden Administration Homeland Security Library: Report on the 2020 Protests and Civil Unrest
                https://www.hsdl.org/c/report-on-the-2020-protests-and-civil-unrest-released/
In total, there were 8,700 protests that occurred in major cities in the U.S. between May 25th and July 31st, including 574 protests that involved acts of violence

So unless we use the New Democrat Commie Math, Biden admitting that at least 574 “protests” were actually riots. that means roughly 7% were all out riots – not 1%.

              2. A people should be willing to fight back against a murderous government.

A people should be willing to respond to murderous black clad Democrat street terrorists in their homeland the same way they dealt with similarly murderous black clad violent terrorists over in Afghanistan:

The 5.56mm solution… reducing them to room temperature.

Come out to play, l’il Antifa, in our free states like Idaho, Wyoming, Montana. Come and show us your stuff.

            2. Oldman, do you acknowledge that you were mistaken regarding the age of the Republican leaders? Or do you honestly think kids are sent to war? Just want to see if you double down on a lack of logic and reason or if, maybe, echoing Vance’s BS is the extent of your faculties?

      2. “when the Young Republican leadership apparently espouses such racism today.”

Ah yes… “apparently”! According Politico, the communist supporting purveyor of the felonious Russia Dossier and charter member of the Democrat-Mainstream Media Marxist Propaganda Complex.

It’s apparent to most people that The New Hitler Youth Movement, the students on Ivy League campuses joining Hamas in screaming to complete Hitler’s intent to exterminate all Jews, are not even Republican. Although they’re definitely the leadership of today’s Democrat neo-communists.

        Pretty rich indeed!

But don’t change a thing you’re doing! Just keep using the exact same lines, all the way through the upcoming midterms and then into the next presidential election.

    1. @Estovir

No doubt. Even given the larger picture, it is time the justice system administers the spankings these little sh**s never got at home. They were all born in the most peaceful and prosperous times the world has ever known, and they can take their manufactured crises and faux existential angst all the way to the prison shower. Get as many of them as possible, I say, and make their parents look good, and hard into the mirror. The rest of us who are not insane, and never were, will carry on.

      1. Here in Virginia (VA), most people agree (at least in my circles) that the Democrat ticket for Governor, LT Governor and especially Attorney General, is a desperate ticket. Professionals at the medical campus (MD & PhD types), non-medical faculty/staff/students at the undergraduate campus who interact with me, are stunned that Democrats are defending Jay Jones text messages of killing the children and the spouse of his opponents. Abigail Spanberger is beyond disgraceful for not distancing herself from Jones nor for demanding he drop out of the race.

The VA Democrats have run a truly racist campaign against Winsome Earle Sears, with Abigail treating Winsome like some black subhuman demanding she shouldn’t interrupt her at the debate:

        https://x.com/SnobsScenery/status/1977145156882383006

and Democrat Virginia County committees have sent images depicting Winsome as an ape in a red dress jumping around:

        https://x.com/VaChangeAgent/status/1977053439843877181

worse are the same identical talking points that Democrats across the nation have posted on their X accounts defending Jay Jones and Abigail Spanberger, including Senators and US Reps from far away states like NM, AZ, CA. It’s as if an AI program is running their X accounts with the same pablum being regurgitated. Yet, the responses from X users…pure gold. Centrists, Independents, moderates are laying into the Democrats. They are not letting Democrats skate.

It is a side of Democrats I have never seen nor expected, yet here we are. They are being true to their sanguine roots

      2. “They were all born in the most peaceful and prosperous times the world has ever known, ”

Isn’t that the group that starts many revolutions?

    2. Good points Estovir. What we’re watching isn’t just moral collapse — it’s strategic suicide. Ruy Teixeira saw it coming: Democrats traded the working class for the Twitter class, and the Searchlight poll confirms voters no longer believe the party even wants them to have a “good life.”

At this point, Democrats have two choices: rejoin the 80% of Americans who still live in reality and take the short-term political hit, or keep chasing the 20% fringe and lose relevance for a generation. The danger is that when a party runs out of ideas, it starts running on fear. And that’s a currency that eventually bankrupts everyone who spends it.

        1. OLLY, I don’t know how you manage in California. Heck, I’m not sure how Darren Smith manages in US PNW. Alas we have our own battles on the east coast, not least of which is violent crime: Richmond, DC, Baltimore, etc

          1. Estovir, it helps that I live in a fairly isolated town that is approximately 50 miles from any major metropolitan area. Like the rest of the country, the insanity cannot continue in this state. There will be a breaking point and without a doubt, Democrats will continue to try and find it.

    3. Estovir,
      Well said.
I will take the garlic and the wooden stake.
As a back up, I have some silver PMs. In an emergency, I could melt some down and cast my own HP silver bullets. Then, fill the HP with lard and seal with wax. 🙂

    4. I don’t know much about a guy, but I know he is trying to stop an arsonist. Maybe I should vote for the arsonist because I know what the arsonist stands for.
      – Republican voters.

  2. Professor Turley is yet again misquoting former FBI Director Wray. Please correct the mistake (again)!

This type of misquote may warrant a rebuke from a judge if presented in the courtroom. How would you grade your students if they claimed Wray believes Antifa is a group/organization rather than merely an ideology or movement when the rest of the quote you provided says precisely the opposite?

Please do better, and at the very least, correct this article.

    1. “Professor Turley is yet again misquoting former FBI Director Wray. Please correct the mistake (again)!”

      And you’re lying again…

      Gaslighting
Gaslighting is the intended psychological manipulation by the perpetrator of those they’re attempting to victimize through intentionally misleading that person or persons. This involves the perpetrator lying, denying events, and other methods used with the intent to have their victims doubt their perceptions of reality, memories, and feel overly emotional or irrational. Within personal relationships, it is a form of psychological abuse and torture. The main five methods of gaslighting that may be used alone or in conjunction with others are: lying, blame shifting, countering, trivializing and withholding.

  3. Will Rogers famously said, [paraphrasing] ‘Communism is like prohibition; it’s a great idea that doesn’t work.’

I often find myself questioning what are the benefits that a Democrat may offer, yea I know free this and that, just create the funding source out of thin air, I mean what’s another trillion here or there, that alone sums up their thick boned skull and blinded eyes to the harm they propose.

They deny the very existence of their fascist tendencies (drunken dreams of Nirvana) but postulate how great their notion of Democratic Socialism, or out-right Communism is. Democratic Socialism or Communism requires a dictatorial ideology to succeed, without the incentive of avoiding harm, why would a man give of himself to support a duff, like what the Democrats are proposing: health care for illegal immigrants, protective status in cities and free rent in Los Angeles.

The violence cast upon the Federal Government by the Antifascist Communist Democrats is just another sign of their indwell imbecility, which represent the greater majority of the Democrat Party.

    1. Imagine, per Article 1, Section 8, Congress has the power to tax for and fund ONLY debt, defense, and general welfare (i.e. all, or the whole, well proceed), which, of course, is nothing more than security and basic infrastructure.

Imagine, per Article 1, Section 8, Congress has the power to regulate ONLY “the value of money,” “commerce (i.e. buying and selling) among nations, states, and Indian tribes,” and “land and naval Forces.

The Necessary and Proper Clause is nothing more than a perfunctory redundancy for the purposes of clarification—a reinforcement of that which was previously codified—and may not be wielded to amend and impose separate acts that do not represent but alter the letter and spirit of the Founders and Framers.

      1. “Imagine, per Article 1, Section 8, Congress has the power to tax for and fund ONLY debt, defense, and general welfare (i.e. all, or the whole, well proceed), which, of course, is nothing more than security and basic infrastructure.”

GeorgeX’s abysmal reading comprehension skills bite him on the ass again. Somehow or other he came to the conclusion that today’s article is about Article 1, Section 8, rather than Antifa terrorism.

Or he wants to engage in some mental masturbation at our expense because he’s to crude to go get a private room.

America is currently in its 250th year, with its official anniversary still approaching.

The nation, however, is now marked by an influx of illegal immigrants—an ongoing trend that some argue began on January 1, 1863. On that day, a standing army of four million was introduced on American soil in a manner viewed by some as a grave violation of U.S. immigration laws.

Since then, the U.S. Constitution—once revered as the supreme law of the land—has been increasingly interpreted as malleable. The Supreme Court, described historically as a “fixed star in our constitutional constellation,” has, in the eyes of some critics, reinterpreted the Constitution in ways that echo Marxist ideology. The principle “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs” is seen as having taken root, enforced by a “one man, one vote” system that some describe as a modern “dictatorship of the proletariat,” eroding freedoms and private property rights and promoting a collectivist framework.

Proclamation 80—Calling Forth the Militia and Convening an Extra Session of Congress

“On April 15, 1861,…President Abraham Lincoln issued a proclamation calling forth the state militias, to the sum of 75,000 troops, in order to suppress the rebellion. He appealed ‘to all loyal citizens to favor, facilitate, and aid this effort to maintain the honor, the integrity, and the existence of our National Union.’”

    Proclamation 92—Warning to Rebel Sympathizers

“[On] July 17, 1862,…I, Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States, do hereby proclaim to and warn all persons within the contemplation of said sixth section to cease participating in, aiding, countenancing, or abetting the existing rebellion or any rebellion against the Government of the United States and to return to their proper allegiance to the United States on pain of the forfeitures and seizures as within and by said sixth section provided.”
    ________________________________________________________________________________

Abraham Lincoln was a Great American President.

Now President Donald J. Trump MUST implement his rendition of “The Lincoln Era,” close the border, rescind rebel sanctuary cities, compassionately repatriate all illegal and unassimilable aliens, issue mass temporary work permits with no path to citizenship, revoke birthright citizenship, make English the sole official language, commence a war to defeat the rebellion, impose martial law, suspend habeas corpus, “smash” rebel printing presses, networks, podcasts, and social media platforms, and imprison political opponents and rebel judges, all in order to save, not the Union, but the Nation, eradicate the communist American welfare state, and place America squarely back on the Constitution and Bill of Rights, including absolute freedom, free enterprise, free industries, free markets, private property, and minimal taxation and regulation, alongside infinitesimal constitutional government.

    1. Rabble:
get some new screed. You’ve posted the exact same stuff every day there’s a new post here.

      1. Moot Deflection.

And thank you so much for reading again, and again, and again, Karl, but these lessons are for the new visitors who imagine there is some legitimacy to the imposed communism, not you old-line communists; they need to know that American freedom persisted for a mere 71 years.

    2. “The nation, however, is now marked by an influx of illegal immigrants—an ongoing trend that some argue began on January 1, 1863. On that day, a standing army of four million was introduced on American soil in a manner viewed by some as a grave violation of U.S. immigration laws.”

Some would point out that GeorgeX’s revered forefathers, the Confederate Kluxxer Insurrectionist states, had no intention of going with GeorgeX’s BS about “repatriating” their slave property that was introduced to American soil the day they were born on it, to countries those slaves had never even seen.

GeorgeX, racist to his rotten core, considers black Americans to STILL be his property.

“Now President Donald J. Trump MUST implement his rendition of “The Lincoln Era,”

Chief Justice William Rehnquist spent 300 pages explaining and dealing with Confederate Commie GeorgeX’s Marxist wet dreams and revisionist historical and Constitutional analysis of both Lincoln and the Confederate Democrat Civil War (as seen through the eyes of today’s Democrat Kluxxers who have now turned to communism when their Civil War ended in a crushing FAFO).

Given that George has proved his reading comprehension has never gotten beyond what he developed in kindergarten, Justice Rehnquist’s work and explanations may as well be laying on the surface of the moon as far as George is concerned. For everybody else who are normal Americans:

    3. The overwhelming singular failure of the American republic rights and freedoms experiment has been voters allowing the continued existence of the vile and violent, seditious Confederate DNC and their equally vile Kluxxer members like GeorgeX. The Democrats who blame the chaos they’ve created on the Supreme Court, not themselves: the Court that has given them what they couldn’t get at the ballot box.

The Confederate DNC who have now embraced Marx/Alinsky’s communist strategies since losing the Kluxxer Civil War and now put their fellow communists like Justices Jackson and Sotomayor on SCOTUS, polluting that court in hopes of continuing to get from SCOTUS what voters consistently reject at the ballot box.

  5. The Professor said “Antifa was first created in the 1920s, associated with the Weimar-era German communist group Antifaschistische Aktion.” But they were not just “associated” with Antifaschistische Aktion. That was the full German name of the group for which “Antifa” is a contraction. Also, the group was first formed by the German Communist Party, the KPD, and they were controlled from the KPD headquarters building in Berlin. The KPD itself was controlled by the Soviet Comintern in Moscow and was largely funded by them.

Also, “I opposed declaring Antifa a terrorist organization due to free speech concerns, but I also know that it is very real.” If any group only expresses themselves peacefully without actual violence or threats of violence and other lawbreaking then opposing their designation as a terror organization may make good sense. But any group that regularly engages in actual violence and other serious lawbreaking should not enjoy protection due to ancillary free speech concerns. Antifa long deserved the terror designation and now they have it.

    1. The American form of Antifa has no connection to the one founded in Germany any more than the connection between ancient Greek democracy and modern America.

The Rose City Antifa group was created to oppose neo-Nazis without regard to communism.

I think most people are against the neo-Nazis getting that band back together again, but pro-Nazi people may not like those in opposition to that.

      1. “The American form of Antifa has no connection to the one founded in Germany any more than the connection between ancient Greek democracy and modern America.”

    1. What is Alexandra Ocasio Cortez prophecy? It’ll all be gone by 2030?

So by Madame’s prediction a dem will be elected 2028 ushering in 2029 for the final end? Perhaps Ms. Cortez herself. Putin, the ayotollah perhaps will see her weakness ….

      Adios.

    1. No. What we are talking about is how Harris lost all seven swing states, how thankfully she is NOT in the WH now and Trump is. We are all looking around at all the accomplishments Trump has achieved, like in the Mid-East.

      1. Upstate – I’m pretty sure it was an intentionally ridiculous assertion just to get people to respond. The stats are a matter of public record and are not disputed:

        Harris . . . 226 EV (42%) . . . 75,019,230 PV (48.34%)
        Trump . . . 312 EV (58%) . . . 77,303,568 PV (49.81%)

  6. Professor Turley,

Yet again, you have misquoted Wray. Using your own Fox News citation, Wray said:

“Antifa is a real thing. It’s not a group or an organization. It’s a movement, or an ideology may be one way of thinking of it,” Wray said. “And we have quite a number — and I’ve said this quite consistently since my first time appearing before this committee — we have any number of properly predicated investigations into what we would describe as violent anarchist extremists and some of those individuals self-identify with Antifa.”

He said it is NOT a group or organization. In no way, can one conclude that Wray “debunked” Goldman’s claim that a single unified organization exists. Goldman’s language in a September 2025 interview with CNN, where he said; “I hope [Trump] can first define what Antifa is, because there is no Antifa organization…” was said in refutation of Trump’s attempt to label it as a domestic terrorist organization. Goldman’s language aligns with Wray and his FBI’s position that antifa is an ideology rather than an organization. When Goldman said there is “not Antifa organization,” he was making the same distinction between a decentralized movement and a unified organization that Wray made.

Turley, your fake news just fuels the Age of Rage, which I suppose helps you sell books. Good for Turley, bad for America.

    1. If anyone can find a quote of Wray’s that claims that Antifa is a single organization or group, then I will happily concede, but until that happens, we must acknowledge Turley’s inaccuracies.

      1. Antifa is organized with on-call terrorists. As BLM before. Occupy before them. And other left-wing blocs (follow Critical Diversity Theory). #HateLovesAbortion

        1. As suspected, you did not identify anything from Wray that would make Turley’s article accurate

          1. “As suspected, you did not identify anything from Wray that would make Turley’s article accurate”

As always, you post here as though you have a belief you have earned some credibility from this audience – rather than the jeering contempt that is the deserved branding given to Biden-quality pathological liars.

      2. “If anyone can find a quote of Wray’s that claims that Antifa is a single organization or group, then I will happily concede, but until that happens, we must acknowledge Turley’s inaccuracies.”

How’s this “we” you’re talking about? The pocket gerbil you keep in your pocket for those special Furry occasions?

Nobody has to acknowledge your claim that you’re no longer a teenage boy but a mature woman instead. Nor do we have to acknowledge your lies and demands that you have been empowered to redefine words and what was said.

You, young sir, are suffering from delusions of adequacy.

    2. Amen – Turley bemoans “The Age of Rage” while fueling it through his partisan pandering and Trump sycophancy. And the sad thing is – he knows better. But he absolutely does NOT want to disappoint the folks that buy his books….so he lies to them day in and day out. He’s done nothing to actually try to calm anyone down….

      1. I am relieved Turley ‘opposes designating [Antifa] a terrorist organization due to free speech concerns.’

*as they say at the UN .. . ‘one man’s terrorist, is another man’s freedom fighter.’

  7. Turls, you prove yet again you’re willing to go to any lengths in covering up the fact the ICE masked abductions, financed by our own taxes, IS the main terrorism taking place in the States today.

Also, Trump and his little Johnson will dedicate to removing the healthcare for millions just to redirect tax breaks to the super rich. And they loot the treasury every single day for their own ends.

Time to see the Epstein files and Johnson’s Grinder account.

  8. OT, a news story on yesterday’s topic:

Clarence Thomas Gently Explains To KBJ That Not All Black People Are Mentally Disabled, Just Her

WASHINGTON, D.C. — After Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson claimed in court today that all black people are mentally disabled, Justice Clarence Thomas gently informed her that it’s actually just her. Not wanting to embarrass Jackson in front of the rest of the court, Justice Thomas waited for a brief recess to explain. “I don’t know how to say this best, Ketanji, but not all black people are mentally disabled. It’s just you,” said Thomas. . . . Onlookers reported Jackson was stunned by the news, shocked to learn that not all black people are mentally disabled. She sullenly closed the Leapfrog tablet she had been playing Sesame Street puzzles on, before hurling it at the wall in rage. Justice Thomas, however, managed to lift her spirits with a brief game of peek-a-boo. At publishing time, Justice Thomas had been forced to have the same conversation with Justice Sotomayor about Hispanics.

    1. Justice Thomas understands the philosophy and practice of Diversity (i.e. color judgments, class bigotry), DEIsm (i.e. institutional, systemic Diversity), and the implications of Critical Diversity Theory. #HateLovesAbortion

  9. Turls, anti fascism has existed as a cause since the advent of fascism. And I’ve seen you rail against anti fascism here on your blog for years….

And yet, GeorgeX, you still come here every single day to obsessively bark and nip at Professor Turley’s heels like a fat lady’s Pomeranian on the loose. Clearly, you are mentally ill.

Channeling; also referred to as projection
Channeling one’s actions onto others typically refers to the psychological concept of projection, where an emotionally disturbed individual unconsciously or deliberately attributes their own thoughts, feelings, and anti-social or criminal behaviors to someone else. This is an internal defense mechanism which allows a person to avoid confronting their own behavior and guilt by seeing them as the thoughts and actions of someone else instead.

  10. Dear Prof Turley,

Idk if ‘antifa’ is a real organization or something out of a animal farm AI nightmare. UpstateFarmer (h/t) links to ‘RoseCityAntifa’ web site, but I think that’s an old pot farm place where the poor and ragged people go. .. and has nothing to do with these people?

You are quite correct to oppose the designation of these [alleged] criminals as ‘terrorists’. For all intents and purposes, terrorism is an act of ‘war’ and all terrorists, including U.S. citizens, have no civil rights (it’s War). .. and the U.S. government reserves the rights to be the Judge, jury and executioner*.

Therefore, I am pleasantly surprised to learn this is a ‘criminal indictment’. It’s a rather important distinction.

Assuming they have a right legal counsel and a fair trial, looking over the indictment, I would immediately seek discovery on:

“6. The Antifa Cell used an encrypted messaging app to coordinate with each other.”

With approximately $160b in funding, I have read the Dept. of Homeland Security is investing heavily in technologies to root out potential evil doers lurking on the world wide web.

*speaking of executioners, I read with interest today Adm. Holsey (yes. ‘Holsey’) resigned from the Caribbean Command . .. an Officer and a Gentleman.

        1. Under biden we had a Sec of Def. Who went out sick and NO-ONE knew he was gone…
          Now that’s leader-ship baby

        2. “I’m quite sure he didn’t have what it takes under Trump.”

I’m equally quite sure you’re still disappointed that Lloyd Austin, the right kind of Darky in your world, and General Milley still aren’t showing how they get it down in the military under Biden.

    1. “Rose City Antifa (RCA) is an antifascist group founded in 2007 in Portland, Oregon.[1] A leftist group,[2] it is the oldest known active antifa group in the United States.[3][4] While anti-fascist activism in the United States dates back to the 1980s, Rose City Antifa is the first to adopt the abbreviated[5] moniker antifa.[3][6] Since 2016, Rose City Antifa has been one of the nine chapters of the Torch Network coalition.[7][8]”

      1. Turley didn’t say Rose City Antifa was a group, he said Antifa is a group. Nice reading skills.

      2. Upstate – you failed to copy/paste what they were founded for – in opposition to violent anti-Semites. Being against Antifa is being for violent neo-Nazis.

Considering the kid-glove treatment neo-Nazis get from US police forces one might conclude they were one in the same.

    2. Inside the Antifa siege on ‘war zone’ Portland and the resistance to the National Guard cleaning it up

Admiral overseeing US Southern Command, which includes forces in the Caribbean, retiring
      https://justthenews.com/government/federal-agencies/admiral-overseeing-us-southern-command-retire-one-year-tenure

      1. If you think an abrupt retiremen announcement of a 4-star admiral less than one year into the administration after our military has taken extrajudicial actions is more than just pretext, I have a bridge to sell you.

        1. He resigned because he disagrees with the Commander in Chief. That was an appropriate thing to do. You seem to think the fact he disagrees with Trump reflects badly on Trump. That is a conclusion that is not supported by the premise.

Trump and Hegseth have embarked on a long overdue excising of the cancer of wokeness/DEI from the military, which was leading it to death. Perhaps the military will now survive to actually protect the interests if the USA.

          1. Retirement is a de facto resignation from the position.

It means, in layman’s terms “I quit,” but with benefits.

      2. Upstate, the retirement is to avoid having to defy illegal orders and getting fired.

Not everyone is Antifa who opposes the ignoring of the claimed violent criminals in favor of going after those who cook, clean, harvest, and repair.

  11. Only leftist get charged for terrorism because the ones on the right work for Trump or just get pardoned.

    1. “Only leftist get charged for terrorism because the ones on the right work for Trump or just get pardoned.” Inevitable that a Democrat communist (aka “leftist”) apparatchik from an Antifa terror cell would post that.

Channeling; also referred to as projection
Channeling one’s actions onto others typically refers to the psychological concept of projection, where an emotionally disturbed individual unconsciously or deliberately attributes their own thoughts, feelings, or behaviors to someone else. 1. Almost 1500 terrorists who attacked the House of Representatives at the Capitol Building and injured many police officers were offered pardon by the President for whom the attack was to be beneficial.

  12. In a blistering comment on Friday, House Speaker Mike Johnson accused participants in Saturday’s No Kings protests of “blatantly exercising their First Amendment rights.”

“When the framers of the Constitution wrote the First Amendment, they did not intend people to take it literally,” Johnson said. “And yet, that is precisely what the far-left lunatics and Antifa members are conspiring to do.”

Johnson said that he and his fellow Republicans would push for a repeal of the First Amendment to “prevent it from being exploited by evildoers in the future.”

“We’d be so much better off without the First Amendment,” he said. “The Second Amendment would move up to No. 1, which is where it belongs.”

    1. From Grok: This quote appears to be from a satirical piece published today (October 17, 2025) in The Borowitz Report, a long-running humor column by Andy Borowitz that parodies political figures and events.

      1. The word “humor” is apparently also used satirically. Those guys have nothing on the Babylon Bee.

    2. Ah, yes! More leftists failed attempts to spread more misinformation, disinformation or outright lies!! We see through your lame attempts at humor. We know how desperate you are as you are losing again. Your comments prove it!

  15. Now do the J6 Proud Boys. Oh wait, they all got acquitted by Trump’s Justice Department for doing nothing wrong. You routinely clown yourself with your partisanship, which is why you are now widely recognized as the Mike Lindell of legal Trump pundits.

    No Kings

      1. How does he get paid? Where can I sign up?

How much are you paid? Are the summers in Moscow nice?

    1. Now do MONTHS of Democrat street fascists in Antifa and Black Liars & Marxists and their Mostly Peaceful Fascist Rioting, Pillaging, Looting, Arson And Murder.

That didn’t happen according to the Antifa fascists that post here! No Kings in your terrorist cell!

    2. “they all got acquitted by Trump’s Justice Department for doing nothing wrong.”

Wowsa, dude. You seriously need to get that looked at. Rabies is a serious problem.

Acquitted??? Wtf are you talking about???

First of all, how does one get “acquitted” by the DOJ??

That said, please name the Proud Boys who were “acquitted” by anyone.

Or, if its easier, just admit you’re a rabid stooge.

    3. OMG, quit living in the PAST: J-6 was a psyop/conspiracy just as convincing to you LibTARDS as your dearly-beloved Clinton-created Russian Dossier, which has been roundly disproven. Goes to show, your TDS cancer cannot be cured.

Oh, and your “NO Kings” delusion is just the kind of mania THEY need you to to sell you your own King (in time). Wake up dummy.

    4. NO ONE was acquitted—ALL of them piad heavy price for mere “trespass;”

even grandmas and grandpas spent 2 to 4 years in the Leftist-Washington-Gulag, with little to NO due process, and rights violations that would have made Amnesty International come running to their aid—IF—this now leftist organization had any morals or scruples.

      1. Were that true, that the Jan 6th attackers were all given no due process, their convictions would easily be overturned on appeal to the federal or Supreme Court; an easily certifiable class action so they would not individually bear the full burden that an individual appeal would require. However, in accepting a pardon from Trump, they are required to admit they committed the crime for which they are being pardoned. In line with the reasoning about no due process and rights violation, Trump simply added to that by issuing the pardons.

    5. @Anonymous

Nobody believes you, and nobody cares. We all have eyes. The left’s days of a gaslighting free for-all are over. 🙄🙄 Many of us have known the entire time, now it’s most of us. Those days are just toast, but at least you tried. 🥲

      1. James,
Well said!! Why would anyone believe them after all the times they lied? Russiagate. Fiery but mostly peaceful protests. Hunter Biden laptop. Years of MSM gaslighting about “Sharp as a tack!” “Laser focused!” “Running circles around his younger staff!” Joe Biden. Border Patrol agents whipping illegals.
And now, they are trying to use the claim antifa does not exist, using vague definitions to fit their word salad lies.
I think it is great! Just like all the other lies and gaslighting that eventually get proven true with facts, they will fail on this one again.

    6. “Now do the J6 Proud Boys. Oh wait, they all got acquitted by Trump’s Justice Department for doing nothing wrong”

Enrique Tarrio was convicted for words, not actions. He wasn’t in Washington, gave no orders, and never touched the Capitol. Yet they called it “seditious conspiracy.” That’s not justice. That’s politics. He’s been pardoned, as he should have been.

If that kind of conviction was permitted to stand, then many Democrats in Congress, Antifa organizers, and the reporters who cheered them on should be in the same cells. They burned cities and called it “protest.” Tarrio talked, and they called it “sedition.” The law can’t depend on party or slogan. Either punish acts or admit the system’s rigged.

        1. It’s a typical dumb rebuttal. Tarrio was not linked to murder, and the judicial process in his case was tainted.

    1. DustOff,
Actually that is a concern to me. After the ICE ambush and attempted murder by those antifa terrorists, I fear this will only embolden other antifa terrorist cells to conduct more attacks against not only ICE, but LEOs in general. Maybe even the NG. Tomorrow is the supposedly No Kings day protests. I would not put it past a group of these idiots to do something really dumb.

      1. @Upstate

No doubt. We are no longer dealing with smart people, forget about mature, or educated, or grounded people. This crap is just stupid, and most of us agree on that point. It was obviously never sustainable, and now that we are course correcting, they can go back to their street corners with cardboard signs. That we got beyond that is sheer madness (thanks, Obama and friends).

        1. James,
Well said. The sad and sick part is they actually believe they are “fighting the good fight!” against . . . nothing. Just look at some of the moronic comments about ICE terrorizing Americans. They are not terrorizing Americans. They are not disappearing anyone. They are taking illegals into custody, who are here illegally and that makes them criminals, taking them to detention centers, not concentration camps. They go before a immigration judge, get their due process and get deported. It is all legal.
Additional thing I fear, someone does something dumb at a No Kings protest, it escalates. Then, other groups with no association with No Kings at all, decides to take advantage of the situation and launches their own attacks on some other group. Could be gangs, could be religions, ethnic groups, class, etc.

          1. Upstate,

They aren’t terrorizing most Americans. However ICE did a raid on an entire apartment complex, complete with agents deployed from helicopters to roofs, where they kicked in every door and ransacked every apartment and put cuffs on US Citizens including children, rousted from their beds and often dressed for sleeping and not the public parade, just after midnight for the maximum terror possible. After only several hours they were not allowed to return to the destroyed property to get their keys and the wallets (the ones that weren’t stolen,) to not use the computers (the ones that were taken,) the cell phones or anything else people typically don’t have on them when asleep.

But what’s a little Nazi SS behavior among Americans?

    2. “Don Lemon Tells ‘Brown People’ to Buy Firearms for When ICE Shows Up”

Homosexual men everywhere roll their eyes in despair when Bad Lemon is put forward as the avatar of intelligent, serious homosexual men.

You may claim Bad Lemon is dumb, and he may be. But as a successful grifter who has been financially successfully despite his blatant and open dishonesty, he has made bank and enriched himself similar to how Biden White House Crime LLC has done in the same time period.

  16. OOOOOO-darn.
