German Activist Seeks Asylum in the United States After Antifa Death Threats

For years, some of us have been writing about the collapse of free speech protections in Europe as the left criminalizes a wide range of expressions and viewpoints. Now, a leading young German advocate, Naomi Seibt, known as the “Anti-Greta,” is seeking political asylum in the United States after years of Antifa threats. At one time, the idea of someone seeking asylum from a Western democracy would have been considered material for the Onion. Today, it is credible given the rising intolerance for opposing views in countries like Germany.

While we do not know a great deal about the underlying threats, Seibt, 25, recently filed the petition for political asylum, arguing that she is now fearful for her life after a litany of threats from the left. In addition, she recounted how she was informed that German police engaged in years of surveillance of her movements and communications — a complaint made by a wide array of conservatives and others in the country.

I discussed the war on free speech in Germany in my book, “The Indispensable Right.” We recently discussed how the German Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) is conducting a nationwide search for citizens accused of committing speech crimes.  The annual crackdown is part of Germany’s robust censorship and speech criminalization policies. We also discussed how Germany is extending its criminalization of speech to the Internet.

Last year, Interior Minister Nancy Faeser was upset that civil libertarians were calling her anti-free speech, so she tried to shut down a publication for a satirical meme.

For this reason, it was fitting that the recent World Forum was held in Berlin. I spoke in Berlin at the World Forum, where European leaders gathered in one of the most strikingly anti-free speech conferences I have attended. This year’s forum embraced the slogan “A New World Order with European Values.”That “new world order” is based on an aggressive anti-free speech platform that has been enforced for years by the European Union. It is vividly evident in the latest crackdown in Germany.

According to the BKA, there were 10,732 crimes related to online hate speech committed last year—a record number and four times the crimes from 2021. It is an example of the insatiable appetite created by censorship as people seek to silence their critics or those with opposing views.

North Rhine-Westphalia’s Interior Minister, Christian Democrat Herbert Reul seemed to relish the power: “Digital arsonists must not be able to hide behind their phones or computers. Anyone who thinks anything is allowed on social media is seriously mistaken.”

He added that “people have forgotten the difference between hate and opinion.” For those who cannot tell the difference, the solution is just to stay silent or risk a knock on the door. It is the very chilling effect reflected in the recent polling showing that most Germans are now uncomfortable sharing their views in public.

According to a poll of German citizens. Only 18% of Germans feel free to express their opinions in public. 59% of Germans did not even feel free to express themselves in private among friends. And just 17% felt free to express themselves online.

What Seibt is reporting is consistent with what free speech groups told me in Berlin. She stated, “In 2024, I found out that I had been spied on by German intelligence for years. Simultaneously, I keep receiving death threats from Antifa.” She also reported that the German police seemed hostile to her claims of threats and refused to take action.

Her high visibility as the counterfoil to climate crusader Greta Thunberg seemed to fuel the threats.

What is most interesting about this petition is the context of pronounced anti-free-speech policies and laws in Germany. As both Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have addressed in major speeches, Europe is now a threat to free speech, including the rights of American citizens and corporations. Germany and the EU now deny this “indispensable right” to its citizens while seeking to pressure companies like X and Facebook to restore censorship programs.

For the free speech community, we would always prefer that advocates stay and fight in their home countries. However, that is an easy “ask” when you are not being targeted by both the government and groups like Antifa. Unfortunately, many of us in the United States have received similar death threats, and we have seen a rise in political violence, particularly from Antifa. We discussed such an attack just yesterday.

While Democratic leaders like Rep. Dan Goldman (D., N.Y.) have denied the existence of Antifa, members continue to self-identify as well as to be indicted for political violence. In Europe, these “non-existent” groups actually have elected members in the EU and national legislatures.

As the EU and Europe continues to crack down on free speech, these asylum requests could well increase. We are used to people filing asylum petitions to flee religious intolerance. We are now seeking some of the first European fleeing speech discrimination. It is a sad statement about the state of free speech among some of our closest allies. However, as amplified by the remarks by Vance and Rubio, this is a very real threat to those who defy the majority in countries like Germany.

  1. ANTIFA in Germany
    _______________
Antifa” for short. They drew on the slogans and orientation of the pre-war united front strategy, adopting the word “Antifa” from a last-ditch attempt to establish a cross-party alliance between Communist and Social Democratic workers in 1932. The alliance’s iconic logo, devised by Association of Revolutionary Visual Artists members Max Keilson and Max Gebhard, has been since become one of the Left’s most well-known symbols.

Notice is says Well-know for the lefts symbols.

  2. Mad King George X got an early start today to another episode of his psychopathic and self-aggrandizing snapping and snarling at Professor Turley’s heels. If Professor Turley stopped publishing to this blog, George X would need to actually be institutionalized and under 24 hour care within a week.

Well, that’s amusing. Apparently, “we” know enough to ascertain that his claims are legit because…she said so.

And here you are, every day, demanding we should accept your claims are legit – because you say so. Classic projection George X, classic

Seibt is also a well-known supporter of the far-right party in Germany the AfD

Well, it’s a certainly a crime to support a party that is widely popular – and legal – because it opposes the other German communist and neo-communist parties that are as police state fascist as you are.

That’s your excuse for defending Antifa – the communists totalitarian fascists you confessed yesterday you know are violent criminals who violently assault people like Sieb? She supports the AfD instead of a communist party?

George X, if you didn’t have lyin’ and denyin’ to defend the criminals here in the USA and over in Europe that are your equally sick co-conspirators, you couldn’t manage to post your inarticulate soup sandwich whining here.

  3. 🇺🇸 I am born and raised American all my life,
and I’m seeking asylum in America 🇺🇸

  4. Nothing like the good old days:

Weathermen, Black Panthers & Symbionese Liberation Army with Patty Hearst,
the granddaughter of publishing magnate William Randolph Hearst.

    1. You for get this group, and the leader Bill Ayers was a close friend of Bill Clinton
      ________________________________
The “weatherman” terror group, more formally known as the
Weatherman or the Weather Underground Organization (WUO), was a radical left-wing domestic terrorist group active in the United States from 1969 to the 1970s. Originating from the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), the group used violent protests, including over two dozen bombings, to protest American racism and the Vietnam War.

  5. Anonymous declares “Hello it’s 2025” but she’s just fine with going back to the nineteen forties and reimplementing the censorship put in place by Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin. Obviously it’s something we’ve known all along about comrade Anonymous. She calls Trump Hitler but she’s just fine and dandy with bringing back the censorship of The Third Reich. She be thinkin very deeply don’t ya know?

  6. If antifa is a terrorist organization operating in the US as our President claims, how can the US offer protection from harm giving rise to the asylum claim?

    1. As long as she moves to a state where Antifa terrorist cowards fear the people and their government, instead of a state where Antifa is permitted to terrorize people and their government, she will be safe,

        1. “that’s not how asylum works.”

Well then, tell us how it works and allowed 20 million Illegal Aliens to enter America without actually filing a claim for asylum before illegally entering the country?

  7. One thing that would benefit all of us (of both parties) is to stop stereotyping entire groups based on the actions of the 1%.

Using that measuring stick, you could stereotype 100% of all MAGA voters as racists, fascists, foreign style theocrats, nanny-state supporters and constitutional-subversives.

The reality is there are probably many – maybe most – MAGA/Trump supporters that are NOT racist, not fascists, not foreign style theocrats, not nanny-state supporters and not constitutional-subversives.

So if MAGA/Trump supporters don’t like being falsely stereotyped, maybe not all Democrats fit your stereotypes either? Every group has a small percentage of radicals and crazies – including your favorite group!

        1. “prove it. Suggest you read thru these comments here.

          Sealioning:
Sealioning is a form of adolescent trolling where someone persistently demands answers to insincere questions to provoke a response, often pretending to seek a civil debate while actually trying to exhaust or frustrate others with no intention of real discourse. This behavior is characterized by a facade of politeness and a refusal to acknowledge previous answers. Often used as a tactic by whining Democrats in online forums and podcasts

      1. georgie, I guess that means that you will need to force yourself from criticizing every single thing that Turley has to say, no matter the topic, just because (as you often try to remind us) you have the right to do so. Taking your daily dig at something the professor says is apparently your pablum and you have lost virtually all credibility with readers because of it. You are highly dishonest and apparently wallow in self-evaluation of the worth of your comments.

    1. Anonymous, well wait a minute. Today you are saying that there is a group of radicals that are just a fringe group. So you do indeed believe that such groups do exist but it was only yesterday that you told us that ANTIFA didn’t exist. My recommendation is that before you make a comment on this forum you should quickly down three cups of coffee and take a little more time to get your story straight. Your attempt to minimize the censorship by the leadership of European nations by inferring that they are just a fringe group is at the very least quite laughable. Always a joker in the crowd.

    2. The Democrat Cheap Fake Moral Equivalency Clown Show has to try that shyte..

Oh yeah – Republicans have similar groups like the Democrat’s street thugs in Antifa and Black Liars And Marxists rioting in the same way and to the same extent.

That will earn you a slimy incestuous kiss from GeorgeX for delivering his level of slime.

    3. The problem with your comment is everything.

The vast overwhelming majority of MAGA Trump supporters are not “racists”, “fascists” or any of the other pejoratives Democrat aligned influencers have labeled them. As I’ve said many times, actual racists and fascists are proud of their identity. Democrat Klu Klux Klanners did not speak in so called “coded language” when the Klan acted as the racist terrorist arm of the Democrat Party. Some may have hidden their identity when engaged in violent activities but they were open about their core ideological beliefs. You can not point to any legit data of MAGA Trump supporters self identify as racists, fascists, bigots or any of the other slanderous labels your side falsely labels them.

In contrast, a Rutgers University poll of over 1000 participants found that 55% of Democrats proudly claim they’d like to see President Trump assassinated. 48% of Democrats say the same about Elon Musk. The results come from the use of scientifically sound statistical methods. The survey has a very large sample size – over 1000. A sample that size produces a very small standard of error. We can infer from the poll, then, that it fairly represents the views of the universe the people who identify as Democrats.

Nobody is stereotyping Democrats when they say Democrats are objectively awful people. Democrats are lower than pieces of sh!t. Scum. That’s not a stereotype. It’s a rational conclusion based on a well constructed, scientific poll.

    4. All we really need is for the Democratic Party to join the Republican Party in acknowledging that violent radical extremists exist across the entire political spectrum — including groups like Antifa. Once both sides can at least agree on that basic truth, it opens the door for bipartisan denunciation and genuine cooperation to confront extremism wherever it appears.

Free societies depend on that kind of moral consistency. Violence and intimidation are never justified by ideology, and unity against political extremism should be the easiest bipartisan goal of all.

  8. Vee are for free speech. Vee vill monitor your speech and vee vill decide what vee let you say, or even think. If you have wrong-think, vee vill prosecute you to prove how much vee like free speech.

Germany has a long history of embracing leftwing fascism, and today things continue apace.

  9. “ While we do not know a great deal about the underlying threats, Seibt, 25, recently filed the petition for political asylum, arguing that she is now fearful for her life after a litany of threats from the left.”

Well, that’s amusing. Apparently, “we” know enough to ascertain that his claims are legit because…she said so.

Seibt is also a well-known supporter of the far-right party in Germany the AfD which is known to have white supremacist and anti-immigrant views. She’s also been paid by the right-wing think tank the Heartland Institute whose main focus is climate change denial. She’s a paid propagandist for the far right and she identifies as a libertarian. We all know how these influencers love making drama to get attention and fame. It’s no surprise right-wing media picked up on the story and portrayed her as some sort of victim because of unverified claims of death threats she’s been allegedly getting for years.

Professor Turley decries the EU’s anti-free speech “agenda” while ignoring our own. The professor likes to ignore similar actions by Trump’s own government or mildly rebuke in the vaguest sense possible how free speech is stymied here. Especially when the Trump administration or Republicans are involved.

Naomi Seibt has been promoted as the anti-Greta Thornberg by Elon Musk and other far-right acolytes and re-tweeted her white supremacist views. She’s not only known for her climate change denial advocacy, but in Germany, she’s well known for her support of white supremacists and their views. Because of that she’s seen as a fascist by antifa in Germany. She is afraid to speak out in Germany where white supremacist and Nazi related views are strongly frowned upon. They have it on good authority about why white supremacist views are strictly monitored there. We all know why. It shouldn’t be a surprise.

Trump’s welcoming of “suppressed” white Afrikaaners, farmers, from South Africa as legitimate refugees speaks volumes about how legal immigration should look like according to our local fascist like Stephen Miller. Those poor white folks sure deserve special attention and treatment because they are too thin-skinned or can’t handle the consequences of expressing their views.

Professor Turley continues his tradition of omitting the rest of the story or facts that lend better context to push a narrative of sympathy and victimhood of those who support white supremacists, fascists, and authoritarians. Things most libertarians seem to oddly gravitate to.

    1. Above we have someone, who hides behind the nom de guerre “X”, who believes that if he calls someone “far right” that is enough to criminize her speech.

      Shame.

Thank goodness we have the First Amendment, and President Trump, to protect us from people like X.

      1. Protect? Hide? Who cares. Just read the comemnt and then you then have the option of responding. Or not. But in your case you resorted to an attack a commenter about a moniker. Thank God Trump will protect us from your ignornat kind.

      2. Stephen, wrong. Criticizing the far-right for their speech is fair game. Criticism is not criminalizing speech. Just as Professor Turley criticizes far-left speech he’s not criminalizing it either.

        1. X: “Criticizing the far-right for their speech is fair game.”

But endlessly lyin’ and denyin’ in extreme far-left communist fashion is not criticism, nor is it fair. And you’re doing it to defend Antifa – who yesterday you finally confessed for the first time you know to be a criminal gang of violent fascist street thugs. You want to justify their endless string of violent crimes against those they target for criminal violent assaults.

And you’re doing so by lyin’ and denyin’ with the same tactics of Antifa: Those you and your Antifa brethern disagree with supposedly self-define themselves as racists, fascists, white supremacists, etc. Doing so by simply exercising their freedom of speech to say they don’t agree with you.

To paraphrase what a vile piece of work that you admire posted earlier today: Apparently, “we” know enough to ascertain that X’s claims are legit because…X said so.

        2. George
What party is enjoying the death of Mr Kirk plus the shooting of Prez Trump
That would be your party the Left

    2. george

      Lying as usual
Seibt is also a well-known supporter of the far-right party in Germany the AfD which is known to have white supremacist and anti-immigrant.

You fools/haters claim anyone who doesn’t agree with you is FAR right or a (Nazis)
Germany is being over run by people who hate Germans and the rapes and murders are growing.

      But AfD are racists…
Get over you’re hate for people just trying to deal with this imported nightmare.

      1. no one her named george dustoff. delusions again? BTW folks, dustoff sees liberals everywhere, on walls, in the fridge and basement.

      2. Dustoff, you didn’t show I was wrong about the AfD’s white supremacist inclinations. Can you show otherwise?

The party presented itself as an economically liberal,Eurosceptic, and conservative movement in its early years. AfD subsequently moved further to the right, and expanded its policies under successive leaderships to include opposition to immigration, Islam, and the European Union. Since 2015, with the beginning of the refugee crisis in Europe, AfD’s ideology has been characterised by German nationalism, Völkisch nationalism, right-wing populism,[ and national conservatism. It has a policy focus on opposing Islam, opposing immigration into Germany, especially Muslim immigration into Germany, welfare chauvinism, Euroscepticism, denial of human-caused global warming, and supporting closer relations with Russia.

That’s a polite way of saying they went far-far-right and most members are racists nationalists just like our own Republican party. Remember the Young Republicans text scandal. They sure love to be racist and seem to gravitate to white supremacist views. You know, real fascists. The kind ANTIFA opposes fervently.

        1. Wow george…
Talk about being FAR left. Same as the EU and libs.
You “must” agree with them or you are far right.
Please show up the far right groups in Germany that has cause the death of anyone or damage.
Yet Antifa does show up and do just that.

          (Republicans text scandal)
HAHAHA and bunch of kids acting like fools. while the DNC/libs is hurting people, can you say Prez Trump and Kurk & ICE officers.

          1. Dustoff,

“ HAHAHA and bunch of kids acting like fools. while the DNC/libs is hurting people, can you say Prez Trump and Kurk & ICE officers.”

I don’t think you can call 30-40 year olds “kids”. These were people the Republican party hopes to be the future of the party. I’m not surprised. Republicans tend to attract a lot of racists and fascists.

              1. Calling for his death? Huh? He’s 79yrs old, unhealthy as it can be. Eats fast food, has obvious cognitive issues and he just had an MRI. People don’t get MRI’s as routine checkups. The get them when there is something doctors can’t see clearly. Like cancer, tumors, or just plain clogged up arteries. Trump is a prime example of someone who could drop dead with no warning. It would be tragic, and I think not a whole lof of people would be shocked if it does happen.

        2. George
Dustoff, you didn’t show I was wrong about the AfD’s white supremacist inclinations. Can you show otherwise?

          ********************************
OK prove they are. Not using the EU fake info.
They are no different that typical lib/dems.
Don’t agree with them. You are a racist.

        3. GeorgeX: “Dustoff, you didn’t show I was wrong about the AfD’s white supremacist inclinations. Can you show otherwise?”

Just exactly what you said just a few minutes ago: Apparently, Dustoff knows enough to ascertain that my claims are legit because… I said so.

          Sealioning:

    3. X, we also know that the Biden administration threatened Facebook, YouTube and Twitter if they didn’t bow down and censor views that the administration deemed to be misinformation. We know and you know that these attempts to censor the American citizen have been proved to have happened. You want us to forget what happened but we will not. How convenient of you to not have taken this fact into consideration before making your very long winded post. A lie by omission is the most deviant kind of lie and reveals the deviance of one who would spout fourth a doctrine born first on the island of the lord of the flies. We hear you buzzing.

      1. Thinkitthrough,

Threatened? What a laugh. The Biden administration did not threaten anyone. They pressured social media companies to remove certain content, but that is still constitutional since social media companies always had the choice to remove the content or not. They were not punished for refusing or ignoring the Biden administration’s demands. Even SCOUTS ruled that the Government pressuring or asking to remove content is constitutional and not illegal because asking and pressuring is not a threat and they did not punish social media companies for not doing what the government wanted. There is a distinction between pressuring and threatening punishment, you know like Trump does.

        1. They threatened social media when they called them and asked them why haven’t they conformed to their requests YET. Social media was told not to allow posts about the Hunter laptop.
Unlike you I provide sources in order to prove my points. Even Mark Zuckerberg said that he was pressured and was sorry that he caved to the pressure. Here’s my source. https://judiciary.house.gov/media/press-releases/testimony-reveals-fbi-employees-who-warned-social-media-companies-about-hack. Whatever you make up in your head must somehow be true. It’s not really even good blather.

          1. Thinkitthrough,

“ They threatened social media when they called them and asked them why haven’t they conformed to their requests YET.”

They didn’t threaten them. You’re confusing pressure with threats. Those are two very different things.

Your own link points this out. Even you admit Zuckerberg was pressured to remove certain content. He still had the choice to comply or not. He chose to comply on his own. SCOTUS pointed out that these kinds of pressures and requests to remove content are perfectly constitutional. What the did say was the government cannot threaten punishment or engage in retribution for putting up the information they did not deem truthful.

Pressure is NOT censorship and it’s certainly not punishment.

          1. The admitted they chose to supress certain content. The didn’t admit they were threatened with punishment if they didn’t.

SCOTUS pointed out social media companies never lost the ability to say “NO”. Some chose to censor content because it did violate their own policies. In the majority of case most requests or demands from government were met with “no’’. That’s how it works. Government is not prohibited from asking, demanding, or suggesting certain content be taken down. What they cannot do is threaten punishment or prosecution for not acquiescing to their demands.

            1. You cling to “they could say no” like it’s a get-out-of-logic card. It makes you look like someone who skimmed a headline and stopped reading. The Court ducked the merits on standing, the 5th Circuit found likely coercion, and Meta has admitted bowing to White House pressure on COVID. Saying platforms “could” refuse does not erase jawboning, public threats, or the regulatory chest thumping that chills speech. Try reading the record before making lawless boasts.

            2. They “chose” it like someone “chooses” compliance when the government is breathing down their neck. Only you could mistake coercion for civic enthusiasm.

        2. “…but that is still constitutional ….” Indeed, and this same kind of “pressure” wholly applies to Trump’s Constitutional right to executive decisions, whether you like them or not. Your generous interpretation applies in many more areas of government, than most extreme-leftists know.

“They were not punished….”—You don’t really know that, but here’s the more serious crux of the matter: THEY WERE CONTROLLED!

    4. You just stacked accusations with zero proof. Show evidence she fabricated threats, not slogans, not labels, evidence. If you had any, you wouldn’t be hiding behind adjectives.

    5. Professor Turley decries the EU’s anti-free speech “agenda” while ignoring our own.

Like clockwork, every day, George X shows up to whine at his nemesis…. BBBBBUUUTTTTT….. MUH TURLEY!!!!

Is he terrified that an anti-communist individual that speaks their mind might now live legally in America and speak about the evil that is the DNC and their violent fascist street thugs in Antifa. Why yes, he is!

  10. As others have stated, this was probably inevitable; my wife and I started discussing it a few years ago when things really began going full throttle New World Order over there, people wanting to flee just as they did in the Soviet Union in the 80s. History is repeating, folks.

  11. I have been wondering about when we might see an influx from Europe. This asylum request is not unexpected. Things seem to be getting a little more nuts over there. Seems the Left there is going the lawfare route such as eliminating LePen from elections in France and some states in the German Federal Republican trying to eliminate the more right wing parties from the vote especially as they gain popularity with the electorate. The speech restrictions are frightening.
With the Overwhelming might of the European Union calling the shots it will be difficult to get their speech rights back. Coming to the US may be the easier play.
I’’ll exchange this young lady for Rosie O’Donnel any day.
Hope we see more from England. Scotland and Ireland are a little iffy and at this point seem far more left wing.
By History the Germans were second only to the English in the number of immigrants that came to the US.

    1. Hey mister, its just one girl, and BTW, it the Federal Republic of Germany, not “German Federal Republican”‘ Geeezzz………..
Fact, it was English and then the Scots. And BTW, those so called Germans were not “Germans per se”, it didn’t exist 300 years ago. Try 1949.

  12. What part of their message of killing our world population down to 50M did you not understand? They want war, famine, pestilence and civil conflicts to kill off as many as they can. Killing can be controlled in war, famine and lawlessness. It can be contained, but with disease and biological warfare it can get away from them. They want a controlled mass die off, they have told us that, believe them.

      1. The Masters that control the food, the energy, the healthcare, the logistics, the leadership of governments, the global cabal of elites, who else?

  13. It was only three years ago that the Biden administration (or the Autopen) launched the Disinformation Governance Board, aka the Ministry of Truth. It got heckled out of existence but you can be certain that it will be back.

    1. The printing press, radio, television, cable TV, the internet: the democratization of mass communication is an ever evolving threat to the wealthy and the powerful. The narrative must be controlled!

  14. This censorship business you mentioned seems to be in proportion of government size. The larger govt gets, the more it becomes self-protective, becoming a country within a country. It certainly happened under Biden. Trump’s government reduction efforts grated on the Dems simply because the reduction act itself diminished the omnipotence of government – which for them is forbidden.

As to Fräulein Seibt, Secretary of State Marco Rubio should admit her request, if only to tweak the Dems and give CNN/MSNBC something else to criticize for a few days. In addition, it tells the EU, UK, and the world that freedom of speech is still welcomed in the USA.

  15. I hate it when I’m right. First it was South Africans. Now it’s Germans. The next big wave in immigration will be decent people (as opposed to undocumented Democrats), fleeing leftwing insanity in Northern Europe.

Put them all in Martha’s Vineyard. Let our own communist-jihadists see what real refugees look like.

    1. Odd isn’t it. The left can’t wait to trash anyone from other countries that just happen to be..OMG white.

  16. We have to be very careful with this one. In between Turley’s book promotions rests some dire predictions. If Europeans begin applying for asylum in the U.S. because of a deprivation of rights (loss of free speech), we might easily see another mass exodus of Europeans surpassing that of the early 20th century. While the U.S. may benefit from this, it will leave European governments in the hands of Sharia-loving Muslims who have taken over large parts of Europe.

Like our fellow citizens in NYC, Europeans have extended the hand of friendship to their Muslim immigrants in hopes of peace, tranquility, and inclusion. Regretfully, inclusion is often off the table as Western culture is contrary to many religious observances of the Muslim immigrants. The goal often becomes making Sharia law the law of their “new” land. This, of course, eliminates free speech, a core foundation of the West’s culture. Thus far, Europe has tried to appease its Muslim residents by instituting free speech restrictions, but, alas, they either do not work or are viewed as contrary to traditions by many Europeans and indeed many, if not most, Americans.

The reaction of most Americans to what is happening in New York City’s mayoral election is appropriate, and people are wise to be skeptical of the future under an activist socialist/communist mayor who shares little of our Western culture and traditions and promises to undo much of it. As a sovereign nation, we have the right and duty to protect our culture and preserve our traditions of law and behavior from foreign influences that demand we change our ways to accommodate theirs. Our respect and dedication to freedom of speech protects us in many ways, including some that our founders never envisioned.

  17. We were Joe Manchin and Kirsten Sinema away from being Europe a few years ago.

If Manchin and Sinema didn’t stop the Dems in the senate from ending the filibuster we would have had Scary Poppins in charge of “regulating” our speech. We would have had 5 new members of SCOTUS to rule in the left’s favor, we would have had a national ban on I.D. for elections, 2 new blue states to ensure that the Dems held on to these new rules and an eternally open border to provide blue states with enough people to keep blue states from losing congressional seats.

This is what our “free” press was supporting, the end to their own independence. It is truly amazing how close we came to becoming Europe.

    1. Unfortunately we are very close to having an election that returns us to the insanity you described. There are very few rational Democratic leaders when it comes to basic issues like deficit spending, illegal invaders being deported, transgender surgery for minors, boys in girls sports, free everything for illegals, etc.

  18. Ridiculous! She already lives – since 2024 – in the US. She doesn’t want to return to Germany and creates a scenario where US tax payers should pay for her stay there. You can’t argue that, on one hand, hate speech should be allowed and, on the other hand, give asylum to those who can’t take it.
