British Arrest Man for Posting a Picture Holding a Shotgun in the United States

In my book, The Indispensable Right, I discuss how free speech is in a free fall in Great Britain, where officials continue to crack down on an ever-widening array of viewpoints. This week, that ignoble record worsened with the arrest of Jon Richelieu-Booth, who told the Yorkshire Post that he was arrested for posting a picture on the networking site LinkedIn of himself holding a shotgun at a friend’s homestead in Florida.

West Yorkshire Police allegedly warned him about the post and told him to be “careful” about what he says online and “how it makes people feel.”

They later came back and arrested Richelieu-Booth over allegedly possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and a charge of alleged stalking over another picture of a house on his profile. He attempted to show that the photo was taken in the United States, but the police brushed him off.

While the police eventually dropped the case, it dragged on for months, with multiple visits from officers. However, according to The Telegraph, Mr Richelieu-Booth has been charged with a public order offense over another social media post. The media reported that he was not informed of the contents of that picture.

The West Yorkshire Police spokesman issued a statement: “Police received a complaint of stalking involving serious alarm or distress, relating partly to social media posts, several of which included pictures of a male posing with a variety of firearms which the complainant took to be a threat.”

None of this is in the least surprising. For years, I have been writing about the decline of free speech in the United Kingdom and the steady stream of arrests. A man was convicted of sending a tweet while drunk, referring to dead soldiers. Another was arrested for an anti-police t-shirt. Another was arrested for calling the Irish boyfriend of his ex-girlfriend a “leprechaun.” Yet another was arrested for singing “Kung Fu Fighting.” A teenager was arrested for protesting outside of a Scientology center with a sign calling the religion a “cult.”Last year, Nicholas Brock, 52, was convicted of a thought crime in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

The neo-Nazi was given a four-year sentence for what the court called his “toxic ideology” based on the contents of the home he shared with his mother in Maidenhead, Berkshire. Judge Peter Lodder QC dismissed free speech or free thought concerns with a truly Orwellian statement: “I do not sentence you for your political views, but the extremity of those views informs the assessment of dangerousness.”

Lodder lambasted Brock for holding Nazi and other hateful values:

“[i]t is clear that you are a right-wing extremist, your enthusiasm for this repulsive and toxic ideology is demonstrated by the graphic and racist iconography which you have studied and appeared to share with others…”

After the sentencing, Detective Chief Superintendent Kath Barnes, Head of Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE), warned others that he was going to prison because he “showed a clear right-wing ideology with the evidence seized from his possessions during the investigation….We are committed to tackling all forms of toxic ideology, which has the potential to threaten public safety and security.”

The Times of London reported in April that police are making around 12,000 arrests per year over online posts.

The years of criminalization and censorship have created a culture of intolerance in Great Britain toward opposing views. Every group is now on a hair-trigger to call the police on those who espouse conflicting values. At the same time, British police departments now expend considerable personnel and resources as speech police.

Lancashire County Museum Service

It is not clear what figures like William Hulton would face today with famous British oil paintings featuring shotguns, including some still hanging in British museums and presumably terrifying citizens.

For free speech groups in Great Britain, the situation could not be more dire, where even silently praying  can lead to your arrest. Indeed, expressing support for Western cultural concerns is viewed as evidence of “right-wing ideology.”

Speech in the UK now becomes entirely on “how it makes people feel.”

  1. “Wow. You cook up a cruel and ineffective strategy based on illegal extrajudicial killings (i.e. murder), force the military to carry it out based on a nonsensical [White House] legal interpretation, then throw the commander under the bus at the first blowback. Incredible,” wrote Max Hoffman

I expect nothing less from an idiotic adminstration.

  2. The above “discussion” has nothing to do with the subject of the UK citizens having lost their free speech rights. Unfortunately, Free Speech is not written in a Constitution in the UK, as it is here. Makes me marvel at how our Founders’ wisdom has endured throughout the centuries. Let’s hope the wisdom will continue to endure! We must fervently guard it.

  3. Boasting about his cognitive health, on Monday Donald J. Trump asserted than an MRI performed on his brain found nothing.

“I had a perfect MRI,” he told reporters. “The greatest doctors in the country looked at my brain and it came up empty.”

Trump said there was no point in releasing his MRI because “there’s nothing to see,” adding, “It’s like the East Wing.”

    1. ^ and yet the Chinese Communist troll says nothing about demonstrably senile Joe under whose lack of a functioning brain wars were started and tens of billions of dollars in military equipment were given to the Taliban, while Trump has ended or helped to end eight wars ^

      1. Trump left 80,000 pieces of military equipment scattered across Afghanistan while drawing down the troops to a mere 2,500. Was each soldier to keep an eye on an average of 32 HMMWVs and avoid enemy action at the same time? He released twice the number of terrorists as the troops he left, 2 to 1 odds on terrorist prisoners alone.

        1. ^ Hospital-level TDS, blaming Trump for Biden’s decisions on the Afghanistan pullout fiasco. Numbskull, Biden was president when it happened, and for eight months prior. But he wanted to satisfy a political deadline without regard to the operational realities. Why didn’t he get the civilians out first? Why didn’t he evacuate Bagram last? Politics, and an artificially-imposed deadline, imposed by Biden. You are really pathetic!!!!!

          1. Don’t sweat it. The stupid left-wing troll is just copying stupid left-wing talking points from a stupid left-wing website.

          2. The deadline was negotiated by Trump. Biden delayed a bit, but failure was guaranteed with the undermining of the Aghanistan government by the backstabbing deal by Trump.

“The Trump administration in February 2020 negotiated a withdrawal agreement with the Taliban that excluded the Afghan government, freed 5,000 imprisoned Taliban soldiers and set a date certain of May 1, 2021, for the final withdrawal.

And the Trump administration kept to the pact, reducing U.S. troop levels from about 13,000 to 2,500, even though the Taliban continued to attack Afghan government forces and welcomed al-Qaeda terrorists into the Taliban leadership.”

The important part was that AFTER losing the election and knowing Biden would be on the hook:

“Nov. 17, 2020 — Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller formally announces that the U.S. will reduce U.S. forces in Afghanistan to 2,500 by Jan. 15, 2021.

On the same day, the Defense Department IG’s office released a report for the quarter ending Sept. 30, 2020, that said the peace negotiations between the Afghan government and Taliban representatives had stalled and violence increased. “At the same time, the Taliban increased its attacks against Afghan forces, leading to ‘distressingly high’ levels of violence that could threaten the peace agreement,” the report said.”

“April 18 — In a released statement, Trump criticizes Biden’s Sept. 11 withdrawal deadline saying, “we can and should get out earlier.” He concludes, “Getting out of Afghanistan is a wonderful and positive thing to do. I planned to withdraw on May 1st, and we should keep as close to that schedule as possible.””

“June 26 — At a rally in Ohio, his first since leaving office, Trump boasts that Biden can’t stop the process he started to remove troops from Afghanistan, and acknowledges the Afghan government won’t last once U.S. troops leave.

“I started the process,” Trump says. “All the troops are coming back home. They [the Biden administration] couldn’t stop the process. 21 years is enough. Don’t we think? 21 years. They couldn’t stop the process. They wanted to, but it was very tough to stop the process when other things… It’s a shame. 21 years, by a government that wouldn’t last. The only way they last is if we’re there. What are we going to say? We’ll stay for another 21 years, then we’ll stay for another 50. The whole thing is ridiculous. … We’re bringing troops back home from Afghanistan.””

July 24 — At a rally in Phoenix, Trump again boasts, “I started the move out of Afghanistan,” adding “I think it was impossible for him [Biden] to stop it, but it was a much different deal.”

No wonder Trump skipped the Biden Inauguration – Biden would have been justified tossing Trump off the balcony.

Top generals contradict Biden, say they urged him not to withdraw from Afghanistan
              https://www.politico.com/news/2021/09/28/top-generals-afghanistan-withdrawal-congress-hearing-514491
“Top generals told lawmakers under oath on Tuesday that they advised President Joe Biden early this year to keep several thousand troops in Afghanistan — directly contradicting the president’s comments in August that no one warned him not to withdraw troops from the country.

The generals’ remarks directly contradict Biden’s comments in an Aug. 19 interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, in which he said that “no one” advised him to keep a force of about 2,500 troops in Afghanistan.

During the interview, Stephanopoulos asked Biden point blank: “So no one told — your military advisers did not tell you, “No, we should just keep 2,500 troops. It’s been a stable situation for the last several years. We can do that. We can continue to do that”?

Biden answered: “No. No one said that to me.””

Oooohhh… factcheck.org: the geniuses who assured you for YEARS that the felonious Clinton-Obama ‘Trump-Russia Dossier’ was all 100% verified intelligence agency evidence showing Trump conspired with Putin!

Your lie is different than the one Biden was telling. His lie was boasting that none of his generals had advised him to leave a security force – he boasted his generals, not Trump, backstabbed him resulting in the debacle.

The withdrawal AND THE DEADLINE were contingent on the Taliban first complying with the conditions of the agreement they entered into. They did not comply – so Trump ordered the military to resume bombing the Taliban again and halted all drawdown activities during the meantime. Biden did not “delay a bit” – in April he was attempting to negotiate his own deal.

When he couldn’t reach any kind of deal, Biden set his own deadline: he would have all Americans out of Afghanistan by September 11th for a Biden photo op, so he – and the Taliban – could celebrate the 20th Anniversary of 9/11. For two very different reasons.

Despite the fact the Taliban were meeting none of the terms of the Doha Agreement prior to American withdrawal, Biden deserted Afghanistan and the Americans in Afghanistan as he had done ten years earlier when he deserted Americans to die in Benghazi because the Obama-Biden reelection campaign was based on the lie that Al Queda was destroyed. It was better that those Americans die in Benghazi than Obama’s foreign policy expert Biden let the American people know that Al Queda was still very much alive and carrying out terrorist attacks on Americans.

But hey… keep trying to change history as a successful means to attempt to change peoples minds.

          3. It is worse than your comment.

First – the US was not leaving afghanistan – it was removing itself from the fight with the Taliban. With the expectation that the Kabul government would either actually fight the Taliban – they had the forces and training necescary to do so – just not the political will.
Or to negotiate their own peace deal – likely some power sharing arrangment.
Trump has repeatedly stated the US was NOT giving up Bahgram airbase. Its location was incredibly strategic for the US well beyond issues related to Afghanistan.

Next – had Biden left in April – While Trump agreed to, The Taliban at that time only controlled about 1/4 of the country.
Our departure from everywhere but Bahgram would have made clear what the Kabul government refused to beleive – which is that THEY were going to have to deal with the Taliban. The Kabul govenrment had the forces and training necescary to do so – to actually defeat the Taliban – but not the Will to do so. Alternatively they could have negotiated a power sharing arrangment with the Taliban.

In April they controlled about 3/4 of the country.

No one expected the Taliban to roll through 60% of afghanistan between April and August.

But partly they were able to because the Kabul government did not beleive the US was actually going to leave.

And Biden delaying the withdraw sent mixed signals.

Regardless Joe Biden was president in 2021 – he could have done whatever he wanted.
He could have left when we had committed to.
            Held Bahgram as Trump intended,
or backed out of leaving entirely.

        2. “Trump left 80,000 pieces of military equipment scattered across Afghanistan while drawing down the troops to a mere 2,500. Was each soldier to keep an eye on an average of 32 HMMWVs and avoid enemy action at the same time? He released twice the number of terrorists as the troops he left, 2 to 1 odds on terrorist prisoners alone.”

          Which is entirely irrelevant.

First Biden could have stayed in Afghanistan, or he could have stayed until the equipment was removed, or he could have destroyed it

Regardless, as Trump has confirmed many times – The agreement did NOT include leaving Bahgram airbase – which is HUGE.
Trump intended to continue to hold Bahgram – just as the US is in Gunatanamo, or Diego Garcia.
Bahgram air base was a massively significant US asset as it it in extremely close proximity to Russia, India, Pakistan, China, the entire Mideast. Controlling Bahgram is like having a permanent giant unsinkable aircraft carrier in one of the most useful places in the world.

It was Biden that decided to let go of Bahgram.
Turning Bahgram over to the Afghaini’s was NOT part of Trump’s deal with the Taliban.

BTW Bahgram is where nearly all those vehicles that you are railing about where.

They were not removed because Trump was not leaving Bahgram.

The US agreement with the Taliban ended US hostilities with the Taliban.

    2. YAWN… Yet you claimed biden was healthy as a Oxen.
      SMART as a tack.
He ran his staff in the ground.

      LOL.. give it up.

  4. In other free-speech news, the fraudulent mortgage loan applicant and anti-speech abortaholic Tish James was just slapped down by the liberal Second Circuit after she tried to gag pro-life pregnancy centers from giving out accurate and truthful information about the abortion-pill reverser pill. James was upset that some babies might live, so she falsely claimed it was commercial speech even though she knew the pregnancy centers did not provide the pills themselves or get any money for talking about it. But in true fascist form, James brought the heel if her hobnailed boot down on their necks and said, “You shall not exercise your 1st Amendment right to speak, since I want more dead babies!” The unanimous 2nd Circuit said, “Uh, heh heh, that’s a bit far, even for us.”

    1. There is no “abortion-pill reverser pill” (which is redundant and misspelled, par for oldman)

The first pill causes the mucus plug and the cervix to relax. The second pill causes the embryo to be expelled. The supposed “working” of the pill depends on not doing the thing that causes the abortion; it doesn’t reverse anything.

They are lying and giving medical advise without proof and misrepresenting the medication.

They aren’t pro-life, they are pro-pregnancy. Once a baby is born, they don’t care at all. They are also more interested in enforced suffering – economic suffering, mental suffering, physical suffering – a general belief they and they alone are responsible for meting out punishment for getting pregnant. Rape? Incest? It’s the child’s fault.

    2. OMFK – Commercial Speech or NOT, the govenrment should not be regulating it.

Actual fraud is legitimately illegal, and has no first amendment protection.
There is no need for the government to be regulating Fraud.

This was an issue in the James lawsuit against Trump.

If Deutche Bank was defrauded by Trump – they were perfectly capable of suing for damages.

Govenrment does not belong in the regulation of commercial speech – beyond adjudicating contract and tort disputes.

To be clear – I am not saying that free speech means you are free to lie to people via commercial speech.
Just that it is those who are Harmed who have the right to go after you for false advertising or other forms of speech related torts or contract violations. It is the governments job to Adjudicate those claims – NOT to make them.

There is no need for commerciall speech laws – Torts and contract law covers all commecial speech that there is a legitimate basis to punish.

  5. Policing the internet is far safer and more comfortable than getting in the faces of some of the people who dominate the streets. To make palatable the substitution of the internet warrior for the on-the-street warrior you need the media to ignore the harm to public safety.

    1. Rabble:
Especially for the UK and London, my favorite Muslim caliphate, which has just become a third world zoo. Why would an esteemed (*snrk*) police lorry every denigrate himself to wade with the monkeys?

  6. A special election tomorrow for a House seat representing a district that went for Donald Trump by 22 points in 2024 has Republicans worried it may be lost as the GOP nominee chooses to distance himself from the face of the party.
Republican Matt Van Epps’ bid to fill the seat held by retired Rep. Mark Green (R) should have been a walk in the park for the GOP in the party’s bid to maintain control of the House, but Democrat Aftyn Behn has been closing the gap in recent polls.

Van Epps camp is reading the writing on the wall and has clamped down on using Trump’s endorsement as a talking point, due to the president’s plummeting popularity on multiple fronts.
The sudden competitiveness of a special House election in a heavily gerrymandered Republican district is a good summation of Trump and the GOP’s current political freefall — and the rising political fortunes of Democrats.

For his part, Van Epps isn’t exactly leaning into the support he’s received from President Trump. Though the president endorsed him in a crowded primary field and appeared at a tele-rally earlier this month, Van Epps’ latest ad not only doesn’t mention Trump — it also omits his party affiliation. Instead, the ad identifies Van Epps as ‘American Patriot’, rather than a Republican. Nothing says more about the toxicity of Trump and the GOP brand than a Republican candidate in an R+22 seat running away from the president and his party.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

This guy won’t even admit he is a Republican.

    1. Hey Anonymous, we know you have a wish list. Just like you had a wish list that Kamala would win the rust belt states. Maybe before you toot your horn you should wait until the votes are in. If the Democrat win you’ll say I told you so. If a Republican wins by a smaller margin than Green you’ll say see I told you so. Scouring the news looking for truffles like a porcine trained to do so. See boss it’s here. Do I get a treat now? We’re on to your game.

      1. So many anonymouses just like her said in 2024 that Trump was going to lose, first to Senile Joe, then to Carmela of little brain. After Trump won the popular vote, electoral vote, and all seven swing states, they fell silent, as they always do. IOW, whatever they say isn’t worth sh!t.

    2. ATS – we will see what happens with the election.

Regardless, unlike Democrats – Republicans are not at war with each other.

There are republicans of all flavors – and each gets to decide how to run their own campaign if they choose to run for election.

If as you claim the district was R+22 in 2024 – there is near zero chance it will flip unless the Republican candidate is a pedophile.

Regardless, while the overwhelming majority of Republicans in the House are either MAGA or MAGA friendly (that is not true in the senate).
There are plenty of districts that republican house members won that are not MAGA.

All of The people who voted for Trump in 2024 are not MAGA. A significant portions – both republicans and democrats merely thought Trump was the lessor evil.

Just as there is pretty much no one who agrees with Obama or Biden or Harris on EVERYTHING – there is no one who agrees with Trump on everything.

      1. John Say the Stupid
Latest polling has Van Epps at 48%, Behn at 46%, with 5% undecided, so well within margin of error for Behn to win.
        It will flip.

As you say, not everyone who voted for Trump is MAGA. Many thought him the lesser of two evils.
Now it has reversed. They think he is the greater evil.
Latest polling shows Trump 36% approval, 60% disapproval.

        1. ATS

“Latest polling has Van Epps at 48%, Behn at 46%, with 5% undecided, so well within margin of error for Behn to win.”

          So ?

There have been very few decent polls that I have seen on ANYTHING in the past 2 years.

If most of the polls were right in 2024 – Harris would be president.
Trump has outperformed the polls in every election he has been in.
Republicans Underperformed in 2022. The polls saying that NJ and VA were close just a month ago were wrong.
I have no idea whether the polls you are citing are wrong and in what way they are wrong.

Next TN07 is not really and R22 district. It was blue not that many years ago. It votes heavily red when Trump is in the election.
But it is much closer when Trump is not. Redistricting after 2020 placed Nashville – which is very blue into TN07

Finally this is an off off year election – The out of power party ALWAYS does better in off year elections.

I am not making predictions regarding TN07 – I do not trust the pollsters at all, off off year turnout is likely to be low, and Democrats might pull a rabbit out of their hat.

I do not know much about either the GOP or the Democrat candidate. But while YOU are reporting the republican running from Trump others are reporting the Democrat running heavily away from the Woke idiocy that has consumed the Democratic party.

In the end it is not my business who wins TN07.

My analysis is specifically to rebutt your Idiotic claim that the GOP/TRUMP/MAGA are in trouble.

          They are NOT.

There is greater than a 50% chance the GOP loses the house in 2026.
If that does NOT happen that is a MASSIVE defeat for Democrats.
I can not recall a time in which the party in power did not lose ground in the house in a mid term – and the GOP has little ground in the house to lose.

If Democrats took the Senate – THAT would be meaningful. That is also highly unlikely.
In fact it is possible that the GOP may pick up a few seats.

Though the Senate is complex, and there are seats the GOP now holds that they will lose when the current incumbent retires – or maybe sooner.

But there are as many if not more seats that Democrats are nearly inevitably loosing.
The rust belt is turning Red. There are a few republicans in purple states. There are alot of democrats in purple states.

I do not expect that Van Epps will loose this week. Frankly I expect the polls to be proven wrong and this election will not be close.

BUT it is an off off year election and anything is possible.
Van Epps winning by 10pts would NOT mean that Democrats are not going to take the house in 2026.
Van Epps loosing will not mean the End of MAGA.

Overall this election is not likely to be a signal of any national trend no matter what the outcome.

“As you say, not everyone who voted for Trump is MAGA. Many thought him the lesser of two evils.
Now it has reversed. They think he is the greater evil.”

Trump is not on the ballot in TN07.
The recent elections in NJ and VA were NOT about Trump – they were about the candidates in those races.
This race is not about Trump – it is about the two candidates – both of whom are focused on theor own positions and local issues NOT Trump or the woke nonsense of democrats.

“Latest polling shows Trump 36% approval, 60% disapproval.”
Rassmussen who has been by far the most accurate at polling Trump has him at 46.
That is not bad under the current circumstances.

Further you can not presume the outcome of a two person race from approval numbers on one candidate.

You can not even presume from approval numbers WHAT it is that people are disapproving.

Parts of Trump’s disapproval are woke left wing nuts such as yourself who oppose everything Trump has done.
Parts are Trump supporters unhappy because he has not accomplished what he promissed fast enough.
Part are people who voted for him as the lessor of two evils and likely will still vote for him as the lessor of two evils if Democrats run another Harris or Biden or Clinton or even an Obama.

Regardless, politically right now the major problem for Trump and Republicans is the same one that Democrats had in 2024

          THE ECONOMY.
The good news is that unlike during Biden’s presidency it has not gotten worse.
But it also has not gotten dramatically better.

There are people predicting the economy will go to h311 shortly – if that happens – Democrats will take the house and senate.
There are others predicting that real recovery is in the works.

I did not beleive the hype from Democrats and Biden for the past 4 years. Nor do I beleive the hype from Trump and republicans.

But my expectation is for significant improvement in the next 6-9 months.
Not Stellar, but good enough. Further I expect that things will continue to improve through the rest of Trump’s term.

Why do I expect that ? Because Classical liberal economics actually works. Because that is what happened under Trump in his first term prior to Covid.

Outside of the economy – it is Democrats that are in deep trouble – not republicans.
But the economy will always be the most important issue in elections.

That said – your attack Trump on every front strategy has not worked.

You have barely moved the needle on immigration.
Your attacks on the Tariffs has failed.
Your claims that Trump is fascist are laughable.
The astroturf campaign to get the military to disobey Trump failed spectacularly.
Trump is making peace deals all over. They are not “great peace deals”
But they do stand a reasonable chance of dramatically changing the future in those regions.

And People have not forgotten that the Wars are Democrats fault.

I would further note – this is not just MY judgement.
Democrats did their own post mortem of the 2024 election and the Democrats report concludes they lost on THEIR issues.
People do not care or beleive climate scares.
They do not support your woke nonsense.
They do not buy your threat to democracy fascist nonsense.

The ONLY issue that democrats have of consequence going into 2026 is the economy – and you had damn well better expect Trump and Republicans to do everything in their power to take that away.

    3. TN07 includes Nashville since after the 2020 redistricting which is heavily democratic. Most of the rest of the district is social conservatives – many social conservatives voted for Obama in 1008.

As to polls – there have been serious polling errors over the past couple of cycles – including this year.

From what we have seen in other races Van Epps could be losing or he could actually be 15 pts ahead.

Turnout will also matter, and historically the party in power has a very hard time getting voters to the polls in non-presidential election years.

    4. Just to be clear – I WARNED you that there have been extremely few trustworthy polls pretty much since 2015.

Mostly the polls have been heavily biased against Republicans.
But we were all told that VA and NJ were horse races – they were not even close.
KIst as Van Epps won easily and is crediting his support of and by Trump.

  7. This most current saga from England reminded me of my question to my Grand Father who had immigrated from England in the late 19th century, ‘Pop why did you leave England’, he answered, ‘who would want to remain as part of the proletariat their entire life, propertyless, and always wanting the answer from others.’ And there underlines the problem both in America and England, as well as other nations, always wanting the answer from others. We now have sheep being sheared and plenty of Ostrich with the heads buried so deep their spine can no longer hold up their head, while others are Golly-Gawking at the ongoing destruction of Natural and Constitutional Rights, who cares if the path leads to Dystopia.

    1. “Blind in one Eye and can’t see out of the other”. We are “The Blind leading the Blind”.
The Constitution is: A roadmap to Dystopia.

  8. Here we have the perfect opportunity for the Brit (who just three three days ago was lecturing that the magnificent British justice system was far superior to our corrupt American justice system with its Grand Juries) to again give us a lecture on why we need his new British justice system were we can be indicted and prosecuted for having a picture taken while engaged in a legal sporting activity in an allied nation outside of the UK. Or publicly singing that laughable old song “Kung Fu Fighting”.

Can that British Walter Mitty step forward and once again present his defense of and argument for we replacing our American justice system with his wonderful new British justice system?

  9. The Professors says “free speech is in a free fall in Great Britain”. After reading about this case and many others recently, I would say the free fall is over and free speech has augered in. There is no more free speech in Great Britain.

    1. Sadly, you are correct. The fall has already occurred. We almost had this under Biden. Remember the Mary Poppins woman was going to head up the agency of Misinformation? I forget her name and the actual name of the agency. Thank God it was forgettable in our country! But, it was close. And close makes me very uncomfortable.

        1. Men invading girls’ locker rooms and showers. 20 million unvetted illegal immigrants. Defund the police. No cash bail. Bidenflation. Close down LNG exports. Close down domestic energy production. Billions in “renewable” subsidies for money-losing energy products, given to cronies. Government-social-media censorship complex. Ministry of Truth. Lawfare and two-tiered justice system. Embracing Islamic terrorists on college campuses. Assassination chic culture. Destruction of once-great cities like San Francisco. But you care about “quiet piggy.” Pffffft.

    1. A good article on DJT and MAGA

A terrible Democrat commie piece of propaganda and non sequitur deflection from the subject of this blog post today. A Democrat commie propaganda piece, posted by a Democrat commie as clickbait

Commie clickbait – but a roadmap to where Democrat commies like George X and he/it/they/them/zee, can have their confirmation bias confirmed after being repeatedly rejected, mocked and jeered here.

      1. “Quiet. Quiet! Piggy”

100 points if you can guess who said that while pointing their finger in the face of a journalist.

        1. That’s your new shiny object you hope will distract people from noticing that you favor men in women’s competitive sports, locker rooms, and showers, you pervert. But we won’t be distracted, groomer.

            1. Still not distracted. And you’re still an idiot who favors men’s genitalia invading women’s safe spaces.

            2. Were the reporters squealing and rolling around in their own shit, hoping to fling some onto Trump? Because that’s what I saw, and he reacted appropriately.

        1. And how is it working for Lindsey Halligan?

I forget, what state is Rudy Giuliani allowed to practice law in?

          1. I forget, what state is Rudy Giuliani allowed to practice law in?

You don’t forget. It’s the states that made it a crime for Giuliani to provide proof that the Biden Bribery Laptop actually did belong to The First Felon Bagman Son – and wasn’t a Putin election disinformation forgery as Bribery Biden and his unindicted felons in the FBI and DoJ were claiming it was.

Also the same states that did not disbar The First Felon Bagman Son and the FBI lawyer found guilty of forging letters that were incriminating of a veteran American hero who was risking his life gathering intelligence for the CIA in Russia. When in fact those letters when he received them prior to working them into forgeries, went to great lengths to exonerate that hero, Carter Page.

We forget: what states actually disbar criminal Democrat lawyers after they’re found to have repeatedly perjured themselves in FISA courtrooms in order to deprive Americans of their civil rights by color of law?

  10. “But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”

    – Declaration of Independence, 1776

  11. The inevitable and inescapable next step is multiple civil wars before free republics are subsumed by communist dictatorship.

Western dictatorships, including juristocracies, must be eliminated with extreme prejudice.

The Constitution and Bill of Rights, 1789, of the United States of America must be implemented throughout, and its “manifest tenor” perpetuated with absolute fidelity.

General Patton should have been unleashed post-World War II.

  12. Really. Britain was first, but most of Western Europe is lost. The irony is tragic, and I guess either England or Canada have volunteered to be the object lessons for the rest of the world. Very sad. What the hell did we fight for in the 40s?

    1. We started almost three years into WWII after sitting on the sidelines, only because Japan attacked us and then Germany declared war on us. We then joined the ongoing war, as we similarly did WWI, because we could no longer sit on the sidelines watching other nations fighting while we told ourselves it was not our war. We immediately fought in self defense once we realized that isolationism didn’t work.

And most of what is happening in England or in Canada started right here at home in America, and they ended up with leaders looking at our American leaders and telling them “Hold my beer and watch this”. They have done their best to attempt proving they are better at it than our elected leaders are.

Woke, as one example, did not begin in Canada. It began right here at home. It is a home grown American product. And then Canada refused to reelect a conservative prime minister with an economics degree and instead chose Trudeau, a Marxist by a Marxist father as Obama was performing as our president. Trudeau, who as Prime Minister Racist Black Face, cosplayed as the son Obama never had. Doing so while Obama was showing America what Identity Politics, Woke and DEI, and shutting down dissenting voices was done.

Trudeau took that as a personal challenge that he could take what America started and Obama promoted, and take it even further in Canada. Which he did.

Pretty sad for Canada, that has struggled under a succession of minority Leninist Liberal governments, where a coalition of Marxist/Socialist parties can cling to power.

But the original cancer that began here at home in the USA is where the original and far more serious threat to our freedom and republic is located.

    2. I have many relatives in France–the French are lost too. I remember Australia during Covid–they were drunk with their new-found power there. We cannot lose our focus here, in the USA. Try as they may, the Left has become this rigid-thinking, almost goose-stepping movement. I’m old enough to remember when “the Left” was all about free speech. Makes me wonder when this became so twisted around.

  13. Some geopolitical thinkers feel that Britain is our most trusted ally. I wouldn’t trust that country to do anything right. The British aren’t going to have a country. This is a dystopian world we live in.

  14. Alina Habba was not lawfully appointed as US Attorney in New Jersey.
The 3rd Circuit Appeals Court affirms the lower court disqualification of Habba.

“Habba is not the Acting U.S. Attorney for the District
of New Jersey by virtue of her appointment as First Assistant
U.S. Attorney because only the first assistant in place at the
time the vacancy arises automatically assumes the functions
and duties of the office under the FVRA. Additionally, because
Habba was nominated for the vacant U.S. Attorney position,
the FVRA’s nomination bar prevents her from assuming the
role of Acting U.S. Attorney. Finally, the Attorney General’s
delegation of all the powers of a U.S. Attorney to Habba is
prohibited by the FVRA’s exclusivity provision. Therefore, we
will affirm the District Court’s disqualification order.”

        1. It is my understanding that Trump had just answered question(s) from this reporter when she interrupted again and asked another, -at which time he said, “quiet, piggy,” and moved on to other reporters’ questions. A reasonable person might interpret that as “let’s give others a chance here, piggy. You had your turn [hogging the press time].” Trump-style? Absolutely.
Worth Anonymous bringing it up ad nauseam, under different topic posts, on this blog?
Childish immaturity. Please move on. Thanks

          1. Trump was referred to as “piggy” in 1987 by New York Mayor Ed Koch. I guess it hurt him so it’s his go to whenever he wants to hurt someone instead of dealing with his failures.

“Koch said, “If Donald Trump is squealing like a stuck pig, I must have done something right,” and called him “greedy, greedy, greedy,” according to the New York Times archives.

Koch also called Trump, “piggy, piggy, piggy,” according to New York Magazine.”

            Ever the misogynist pig:

“Trump’s comments fit into a longer habit of open hostility toward reporters, and he called 1996 Miss Universe “Miss Piggy” when she gained weight following her pageant win.”

            https://www.palmbeachpost.com/story/news/trump/2025/11/29/trump-quiet-piggy-greedy-koch-mayor/87506161007/

            1. So What ?

You insult people all the time – Is Trump not allowed to ?

I am not a huge Koch fan – but he is head and shoulders above anything Democrats have come up with recently.

So Koch insulted Trump, Big deal.

I would note the claim that Trump has thin skin or is easily hurt is ludicrously stupid.

You left wing nuts have called him every insult there is.

He is living proof that hurt feelings are meaningless.

Trump is president – he is accomplishing things every day.
I doubt he recalls Koch’s remarks.

Trump allows your idiotic insults to roll off his back and moves on.
He does not wallow in hurt feelings like left wing nuts.

          2. Left wing nuts never move on – the TDS is strong in them.

Most continue to argue that the Collusion delusion was real.

        2. “Quiet. Quiet. Piggy”

Wishful thinking that the Democrat Media swine will ever do that. Might as well tell Boss Hog Pelosi to quit licking her chops at another brilliant stock market deal.

      1. Actually that is not what the court said, nor is that in their power.

What they said is that she can not remain in the acting US attorney position – either formally or defacto.
The court has no power over Bondi’s appointment of inferior officers.
They do have the power to preclude an inferior appointment from being used as a defacto Officer of the United States without Senate confirmation.

    1. Alina Habba was not lawfully appointed as US Attorney in New Jersey.

And your reason for attempting that desperate Biden non sequitur Deflection is… what?

      1. Trump is president again and not in prison, as your Democrat police state fascist promised you he would be.
      2. The unindicted felon Jack Smith was not lawfully appointed Special Counsel and could not put Trump in jail.
      3. The unindicted felon Fani Willis has had all her indictments thrown out and is fighting felony indictments of her own.

Need more reminders of current legal news to go along with your untalented parroting copy ‘n paste?

You’re really a novice at this business of performing as a political apparatchik from the Democrat Borg, aren’t you!

Bottom of the barrel BullSchiff, cupcake.

    2. “Alina Habba was not lawfully appointed as US Attorney in New Jersey.
The 3rd Circuit Appeals Court affirms the lower court disqualification of Habba.”

ATS you are misrepresenting the decision.

I suspect this decision is correct – though YOUR claims regarding it are not.

Officers of the United States must be appointed by the president and confirmed by the Senate.
There are provisions in law for acting and recess appointments – but those are NOT permanent appointments.

Habba has held the position of Acting US attorney for longer than the Constitution and law allow.

The separate question – which this court also addressed is whether Habba can be concurrently appointed by Bondi to an inferior postition while delegating to that person much the same power as a US Attorney.

That is would be an end run arround the constitutions requirements for Senate confirmation.

Habba was appointed Acting US Attorney – she must either be confirmed during the perscribed Time or she can not continue to hold the position.

While the Halligan case was decided clearly wrongly and likely will be overturned on appeal.
It is already established case law that you can not appoint someone into an acting position that requires confirmation more than once.

Habba can continue as a US attorney after she is confirmed by the Senate – which given the poisonous nature of democrats is unlikely, or she can be appointed by Bondi to a Truly inferior role, or she can be appointed as Acting US attorney to a DIFFERENT US Attorney position (maybe).
But she can not continue as Acting US Attorney in this district absent Senate confirmation.

She can hold any inferior role that Bondi wishes to appoint her to, but it MUST be an inferior role.
i.e. Trump must appoint another Acting US Attorney to replace Habba or he must leave the position vacant.

Habba can continue as an inferior officer of the united states, But she can not continue defacto or otherwise to be the Acting US attorney for this district.

So that we are clear – Habba’s appointment was NOT “unlawful”, she has merely remained in a position that requires senate confirmation for longer than she is allowed to.

This case actually highlights the error in the Halligan case.

The AG can appoint people in an acting capacity or permanently to positions that do not require Senate confirmation – inferior officers of the united states.

The AG can not appoint Officers of the united states – only the president can. And while the president can appoint DIFFERENT people to acting positions such that a position is not left vacant. The president can NOT circumvent senate confirmation by reappointing the same person to an acting position over and over.

If you are appointed to a position as an Officer of the United states, you do not permanently hold that position until you are confirmed by the senate. You may only hold the position in an Acting capacity for 120 days.

  15. I wonder if you could get in trouble in England if you posted a picture of yourself in Muslim clothing while holding an AK 47 and an IED with a camel in the background?

Probably not; racist to object don’t you know. In fact, probably arrest you for saying anything about it.

I do wonder where they get police not ashamed to do this Gestapo crap.

I would quit rather than arrest that little girl in Dundee who carried a knife and hatchet to protect her sister from predators. But the police have been protecting the predators.

Maybe fire all of the corrupt police and start over. Until a decent force is rebuilt the little girls can fend for themselves. They seem capable when the police aren’t protecting the predators.

    1. Young,
Okay, your opening line made me chuckle!
Yes, something is seriously wrong when they protect the predators, gloss over things like the sexual harassment, and then when the commoners do protest, they demonize the protesters in the media.

    2. “I do wonder where they get police not ashamed to do this Gestapo crap.”

Some degree of actual comprehension would seem to be a prerequisite to shame. I suspect that UK police didn’t acquire the nickname “Plod” for no reason…

      1. I suspect that UK police didn’t acquire the nickname “Plod” for no reason…

You would lose money betting on your suspicions. There was an English author of children’s books, similar to our Dr. Seuss. Enid Blyton wrote a series of popular childrens’ books in the mid 20th century about her main character, Noddy Noddy lived in Toytown where P.C. Plod was the policeman. And while there’s some confirmation bias satisfaction in believing the fictional P.C. Plod was slow moving and dim witted, in Blyton’s childrens books he always got his man.

While my time in the UK was limited, my observation was that the kind of people in America who refer to the police as “pigs” are the same kind of people in the UK who refer to the police as the “Plod”. Or another popular term for police with those kind of people in the U.K. is “the filth” – while our alternative term used by our equivalent of those U.K types is “Nazis”.

  16. Some of you may be wondering why Trump is pardoning the former president of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernandez, who is currently serving a 45 year sentence in federal prison for trafficking 400 tons of cocaine into the US.
You may also wonder why Trump is taking such an interest in the election in Honduras, where he has endorsed Tito Asfura for president.
What is going on here ??
It is a fascinating story, so come close and listen.

You may be familiar with Peter Thiel and Marc Andreessen, the tech-billionaires who have contributed hundreds of millions of dollars to Trump’s election campaigns as well as other Republicans. They are extreme libertarians who believe that the government should not be regulating or taxing their businesses. For years they have been trying to persuade foreign governments to set up “special economic zones” with no regulations or taxes where they could hide their businesses and assets from the US government.

In 2017 they eventually found help from the narco-terrorist President of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernandez, who had been elected in 2013. Thiel and Andreessen persuaded him to set up a “special economic zone”, or ZEDE on the Island of Roatán, just off the Honduran coast. The agreement was that the island would be free of Honduran laws and regulations and taxes. Thiel and Andreesen would be free to set up their own regulations governing the ZEDE. They also wanted set up a system where Bitcoin was the primary currency.
However they ran into a problem. When Hernandez’s government passed the required enabling legislation, the Supreme Court ruled it to be unconstitutional. Subsequently, Hernandez engineered the dismissal of the four judges who ruled against him and installed his own cronies.

Eventually the legislation passed and Thiel and Andreessen set up a community on the island that they named Prospera. There were essentially no laws, regulations or taxes. They built luxury homes and condos and infrastructure on the island to attract ultra-wealthy people to their libertarian tax haven.

However, this scheme went south rapidly when Hernandez was ousted and a new president and government was elected in 2022. They repealed all the enabling legislation for ZEDES and Prospera, declared that Prospera was illegal and levied substantial taxes on the now illegal entity. Prospera refused to pay the taxes, so the government shut them down. Thiel is trying to sue the Honduran government for $11 billion, but this will of course go nowhere.

Now Thiel and Andreessen simply want their boy out of prison. So, they approached Trump, to whom they had contributed many millions of dollars. Trump is pardoning Hernandez as a favor to the billionaires who supported him for his election. Trump is perfectly happy to pardon a criminal, who was convicted of trafficking 400 tons of cocaine into our country, as a favor to his billionaire buddies.

Now try to tell me that Trump is not the most corrupt and immoral president in history.
    https://www.vcinfodocs.com/prospera-the-network-state-in-honduras
    https://fpif.org/crypto-bros-are-trying-to-bankrupt-honduras-for-scuttling-their-private-cities/

Relatedly, Trump has been vigorously endorsing Tito Asfura for president of Honduras in the election held yesterday.
    Why ???
Well it should come as no surprise that he represents the same party as Hernandez, the extreme right-wing narco-terrorist National Party of Honduras that is connected to the drug cartel. Thiel and Andreessen have been contributing large sums of money to Asfura’s campaign, hoping that he will be elected and restore their nice little tax haven of Prospera.

So, you see, Trump is simply doing the bidding of the tech-billionaires who helped get him elected.

    1. Remember what Anonymous said about RussiaGate, book burning in Florid, fishing boats with no fishing nets or fish on board and the Hunter laptop was just Russian disinformation. They are now saying that the people piloting the boats were killed while floating in the water. After the massive explosion of the fishing boats the only thing that would be left of the drug runners carrying poison to America would be very small parts. We should remember that Anonymous and her compatriots at first said that the boats were just fishing boats and that poor fishermen were being killed. Then the video of the boats with no nets or fish on them came out so they switched to killing survivors that could not have survived the blast. They have proven that they will even defend the cartels if that’s what it takes to take back power.

      1. “they will even defend the cartels if that’s what it takes to take back power”

Isn’t that exactly what Trump is doing ???
Defending the cartel by pardoning someone convicted of trafficking 400 TONS of cocaine into our country.

        1. Anonymous, why is it that you had no concern for Laken Riley being killed because of gang members who crossed the border illegally but now you are so concerned that Trump may pardon a man. You have never addressed your posts on this forum saying that RussiaGate was true and that the hunter laptop was just Russian disinformation. Your credibility has been shot so now you somehow expect us to believe your take on anything. It’s obvious that your opinions are not your own but are force fed to you every morning and like a good girl you repeat them in lockstep on this forum. When you admit that you were wrong on the pee tape and the Hunter laptop was just Russian disinformation we might consider your posts to be something other than propaganda by a more than willing schill in a game of three card monte. Short of that, we know you’re just pissing down our leg and telling us it’s raining. You’re not the first con artist we’ve seen and you’re sure as hell not the best one. Get thee to a carnival.

          1. For everyone that Trump has pardoned you would have had a stroke if Obama had done so for Obama’s benefit. It appears you have no morals, and are just following a cult whose leader has promised to hurt the Americans you don’t like.

        2. Defending the cartel by pardoning someone convicted of trafficking 400 TONS of cocaine into our country.

There’s a great defense for Obama and then Biden throwing the southern border wide open and allowing drug cartels to kill a 100,000+ Americans each year with illegal drugs.

Including the cartel most favored and protected by first Obama and Biden – the Sinhaloa cartel that person who is being pardoned was working with to traffick those drugs while Obama was president and left untouched.

The Obama and Biden drug cartel that made more money than they did from drugs by human and sex trafficking the Illegal Aliens children. Children and women they lured with promises they would not enforce immigration laws if they lived and survived the constant rapes to get here.

There’s a glaringly obvious reason you don’t want to talk about the terrorists, drug dealers, and blood soaked butchers of women and children on federal death row that Biden and Obama before him pardoned.

This is a horrible failure of displaying BBBUUTTTT…. MUH TRUMP!!!!! HE WON AND WE WERE PROMISED THAT OBAMA OR BIDEN WOULD PUT HIM IN JAIL!!!

          1. Allowing? Congress wrote the laws concerning immigration and Biden followed the law.

Who are the cartels trafficking children to? Arrest those people. Oh, wait, that was people like Trump and Epstein and suddenly it is clear why no arrests for sex trafficking of children were made among the clients, the ones supplying money in exchange to commit sexual abuse.

Lay off the hallucinogens before writing anything else.

            1. >i>Allowing? Congress wrote the laws concerning immigration and Biden followed the law.

Well, you sure won a lot of people over with that version of history. You really won them over with the claim Biden enforced immigration law.

A performance that ranks up there with Mayorkas saying there was no crisis and the southern border was secure!

            2. “Congress wrote the laws concerning immigration and Biden followed the law.”

If that is not sarcasm, you are a moron.

“Who are the cartels trafficking children to? Arrest those people. ”
Trump is, Biden was noot, Further Trump is arresting the Traffickers.
              And deporting the suspected Traffickers.

“Oh, wait, that was people like Trump”
              ROFL

The left rants that Trump is mentioned in Epstein documents over 1000 times.
They fail to note that Trump is mentioned by Epstein as an enemy.

Epstein was litterally feeding words to Democrats in hearings investigating Trump.

“suddenly it is clear why no arrests for sex trafficking of children were made among the clients”
Epstain’s original prosecution was in 2008 – Obama could have continued to go after him for 8 years.
Trump had arrested him and was prosecuting him when he committed suicide (or the clinton’s had him 86’d)
Biden had the case for 4 years and did nothing – do you think if there was anything damaging to Trump it would not have been leaked during the past 4 years ?

Is it likely that amoung the names of Epstain’s clients are some republicans ? Certainly.

I would compared it to Musks remarks on Joe Rogan.

He found MASSIVE amounts of graft and corruption – 90-95% was by democrats.

But he encountered alot of resistance from republicans, because those republicans with their hands in the cookie jar would rather see democrats get 95% while they got 5% than to see the corrupption cleaned up.

      2. Think

Heck I wonder where these so called poor fishermen get the cash to buy the fast fishing boats???

        Something in the water.

        1. Dustoff, good point. Those types of engines are usually found on houseboats. On ski boats one is enough power. They once tried to tell us that they were just poor fishermen suffering an unwarranted death. When Biden killed Obama the soldiers had orders to kill anyone in the way. No prisoners were taken in that operation. 3,000 were killed in the twin towers and Biden was praised for his decisive action. Trump has acted decisively to stop hundreds thousands of Americans from dying due to fentanyl overdose and the Democrats are worried about the mistreatment of the guys in fast boats bringing the killing drugs into our country. Politics does indeed create strange bedfellows and the Democrats are willing to give it up to anyone if that’s what it takes. The next thing will be hug a fisherman day because the poor fisherman had skins of a darker pigment and the killings were only done due to racism. Let’s twist the truth again like we did last summer. Let’s twist again like we did last year.

          1. Overdose deaths have not stopped. Not even slowed. Addicts are not sobered and no longer using drugs.

“When Biden killed Obama the soldiers had orders to kill anyone in the way. ”

            Are you drinking absinthe again?

The go-fast boats top out at 70 mph. Ski boats don’t go anywhere near that fast; horsepower required goes up roughly 4X for each doubling of speed, so it’s not a house boat motor.

Perhaps we can get to where cops simply execute speeders on the roadside – no proof, no trial, just up to the cop.

            1. “Overdose deaths have not stopped. Not even slowed.”

“Findings In this cross-sectional study of 800 645 DODs, beginning August 2023, DODs declined for 15 consecutive months, with the largest decreases in the final 9 months of decline, although adults aged 55 years or older and American Indian or Alaska Native, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, and multiracial individuals had year-over-year increases. Opioid-related deaths decelerated faster than stimulant-related deaths.”

      3. Too bad for you that the White House said that the survivors were killed. That’s Karoline Leavitt confirming that.

Trump isn’t damaging the cartels by picking off the low level help and 0.1% of their supply. Cost of doing business at worst.

        1. “Trump isn’t damaging the cartels by picking off the low level help and 0.1% of their supply. Cost of doing business at worst.”

Correct, he is attacking the Cartels on MANY fronts and this is just one of them.

He has made it radically harder to bring drugs in accross the southern border.
          He is deporting Drug Dealers
Now he is making it harder to bring them in by Sea.

Killing the low level help may be a cost of doing business to the Drug Lords.
Pretty sure it is not to the “low level help”
It is pretty hard to get people to take jobs where a quick and violent death is a likely outcome.

Separately this is cutting off a major revenue stream to a hostile socialist govenrment.

This is not just about Drugs.

Socialists can not appear to survive if they do not sell drugs to others.

    2. Protective ISDS provisions were in place, governing the international agreements made re: Thiel, Andreesen, and Prospera, –WAY long before Hernandez was even around.
As you may or may not know, ISDS uses neutral arbitration tribunals, similar to U.S. arbitration panels, wherein each party appoints one arbitrator, with a third neutral one.
Whether your claims are manifestations of TDS or whether they have any merit will surely be resolved during ISDS. Get back with us at that time. thanks.

      1. lin
Unfortunately you are confusing the establishment of Honduras as part of the Dominican Republic–Central America Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA-DR) with the establishment of Prospera as an entity.
The general ISDS provisions of the Dominican Republic–Central America Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA-DR) were negotiated in 2000, but Honduras did not join the Agreement until 2008.
Prospera did not exist until it was granted a charter in 2017 when Hernandez was in power.
Prospera’s ability to use ISDS stems from an agreement with the Honduran government under Hernandez, in March 2021, which specified that certain investment disputes could be resolved through arbitration, including at the ICSID.
So your attempts at deflection and obfuscation fall flat.
        But I guess you tried.

        1. Nothing you tried to elucidate defeats or goes against what I said.
I can tell that you had to look it all up (Wikipedia?) before you responded.
          try again. thanks anyway.

          1. lin
The ISDS provisions simply provide the mechanism to resolve disputes. They were established some time ago.
The ESTABLISHMENT of ISDS provisions has no relevance whatsoever to when Prospera came into existence.
Prospera did not exist until 2017, when Hernandez shoved through the enabling legislation.
Just because Prospera and Thiel are using ISDS provisions to sue Honduras does not mean that Prospera existed before 2017.
That is a total non sequitur.
Your claims are irrational, and make absolutely no sense

            1. I stand by what I said. Everyone else can read your two replies and smile:
(From ANon: “The general ISDS provisions of the Dominican Republic–Central America Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA-DR) were negotiated in 2000, but Honduras did not join the Agreement until 2008.”
From Anon: “The ESTABLISHMENT of ISDS provisions has no relevance whatsoever to when Prospera came into existence.”
From Anon: “Just because Prospera and Thiel are using ISDS provisions to sue Honduras does not mean that Prospera existed before 2017.”)
(do you even know what non sequitur means?)
              ???????????????
DO you think you will even remember what you learned today from the Internet?
I can’t help but smile myself.
(no more response from me. I’m moving on. So give it your best shot.)Thanks, yours truly, lin.

Leaving aside your pointless attempt to rebut the connection between Prospera and Thiel, Andreessen, and Hernandez, I find it fascinating that you do not seem to be in the least perturbed by Trump pardoning someone convicted of trafficking 400 tons of cocaine into our country.

You seem remarkably disinterested in this pardon and the reasons for it.
It is very telling, indicating your unthinking devotion to your cult leader who is apparently completely infallible in your eyes.

      2. Lin, you are not scoring the points you think you are. If ISDS predates Prospera then that would make it available for use to file a suit. If Prospera was created in conflict with Honduran law, that is separate from international trade agreements. The goal of Trump appears to be to replace the Honduran government to remove that conflict and allow Thiel and Musk to use Honduras as a shield for their activities.

If there is some more focused point you wish to make, do so.

        1. Lin, you are not scoring the points you think you are.

Comparing the upvotes each of you got, it’s clear that you have failed to establish the slightest bit of credibility. Or in other words: you are not scoring the points you are trying to reward yourself with while claiming you get to be the judge as well.

          Try harder…

    3. Anonymous, where was your concern when Mark Zuckerberg a tech billionaire gave 375 million bucks to the Hillary Clinton campaign. Then when Zuckerberg said he was wrong to have allowed censorship on facebook the left threw him under the bus. You had no problem when a tech billionaire by the name of Elon Musk donating to the Democratic Partly. Musk has donated to Democrats, including voting for Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012, Hillary Clinton in 2016, and Joe Biden in 2020.
You hate the rich except for the rich you love. Given a chance you would defend George Soros, a billionaire many times over as long as his money goes in the direction you prefer. You really think you hate the rich and we might consider your direction in thinking if you hated all the rich equally but you don’t. You tell us who you are.

      1. Zuckerberg, Musk and Clinton have not been convicted of trafficking 400 tons of cocaine into our country.
The issue is not whether billionaires contribute to politicians. That has, and always will happen.

The issue is that some billionaires contribute to and defend convicted drug traffickers.
Where is you concern about Trump pardoning a drug trafficker at the behest of his billionaire buddies ??

This whataboutism in the MAGA cult is astounding and never ending
You are willing to defend the pardon of a drug trafficker by your cult leader using stupid, irrelevant claims about people who donate to Democrats.

        1. Anonymous, with you it’s always about how evil the rich are. You framed your story about the see look at the big bad billionaires as usual. If you had at any time pointed out that billionaires also influence Democrats then maybe we could take you more seriously. If Trump is supporting someone who trafficked drugs to America it would be wrong. However, when someone who told us that RussiaGate was true and that the Hunter laptop was Russian disinformation tells me something is true I have ample reason to doubt their sagacity. Considering that your previous post have been found to be untrue propaganda at a later date you’ll have to excuse me if I have a suspicion of your piling more BS on an ever growing stack of BS. Your past is smelling and it don’t smell good. It reminds me of going to a rodeo where the building ventilation system was broken.
Your ventilation system seems to be always broken. Get the to a stock yard to shovel your wares.

          1. Zuckerberg, Musk and Clinton have not been convicted of trafficking 400 tons of cocaine into our country.

And they aren’t Bribery Biden, who magically became a millionaire while in the White House accepting bribes and selling America to Putin and the Chicoms.

The new millionaire Biden, who then pardoned terrorists, cop killers, hundreds of drug dealers… And the worst: vile child rapists and murderers who were awaiting execution on federal death row.

The 37 federal death row prisoners that Biden commuted sentences for.
            https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/who-were-the-37-federal-death-row-prisoners-that-biden-commuted-sentences-for-see-a-list/ar-AA1wnLK9
Ricardo Sanchez, Jr.: Sentenced in 2009 for his involvement in the drug-related killing of a family, including two children.
Brandon Leon Basham: Sentenced in 2004 for the kidnapping and death of a woman following an escape from prison.
Kaboni Savage: Sentenced in 2013 for killings 12 people in connection with a drug enterprise.

Obviously you aren’t actually concerned with pardons. Particularly with pardons like that from Biden, and from Obama and Clinton before him. No, you are specifically and only concerned with pardons from Trump.

You are really new as a novice apparatchik from the Democrat Borg, giving us your various versions of BBBBUUUTTTT… MUH TRUMP!!!!!

        2. ATS – I am libertarian – I have far less problems with Drug Dealers than than government infringement on constitutional rights.

With respect to Drug dealers my fundamental objection it to the violence.

I also have problems with the fact that Fentanyl is being provided to people who think they are getting other legal or illegal but less dangerous drugs. Fraud resulting in death is a crime even in a truly free market.

Further as a libertarain – I am opposed to some of the things Trump does.
But near universally he is either the lessor evil or actively trying to end the far worse conduct of democrats.

    4. Some of you may be wondering why Trump is pardoning the former president of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernandez

President Obama’s Pardon for Terrorist Murderer Oscar Lopez Rivera Trades a Terrorist for Votes
      https://www.heritage.org/crime-and-justice/commentary/president-obamas-pardon-oscar-lopez-rivera-trades-terrorist-votes

No, we’re wondering why you’re desperately going off topic hoping nobody remembers Biden pardoning his drug dealing felon son and daughter.

Hoping nobody remembers Biden pardoning the worst of the butchering blood stained child rapists and murderers on federal death row.

Hoping nobody remembers Obama not only specialized in pardoning drug dealers, rapists and murderers, but also terrorists who murdered American citizens.

BTW, that’s the Hernandez that started working with Obama and Biden’s Mexican drug cartels, specifically the Sinhaloa Cartel, to run all those drugs across the borders that Obama and Biden left wide open. Doing so while Obama and then Biden’s Attorney Generals and FBI spent their time instead of shutting down those Mexican drug cartels and their partner Hernandez committing felonies to take out Trump so Democrats could win upcoming presidential elections.

So: hoping everybody forgets the 12 years of Obama/Boden commie police state fascism and who they pardoned in hopes you can convince people you have standards concerning pardons is a big fail for you, buddy.

Just as it was when you tried it yesterday.
