Federal Inspection Reportedly Finds Delaney Hall in Compliance on Virtually All Standards

Democratic Governor Mikie Sherrill has repeatedly claimed that conditions in the Delaney Hall ICE facility are abhorrent, inhuman, and intolerable. Democratic leaders claimed that the conditions were so horrific that there was a hunger strike going on. As is often the case, there is a closed loop of information fueling such claims. The media ran allegations from advocacy groups, politicians repeated the media reports as fact, and then lawyers cited both as the basis for a lawsuit to shut down the site. The problem is an actual federal inspection that found the facility to be in compliance with virtually every standard.

The most recent investigative report conducted by the DHS Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) found compliance with 17 out of 22 standards. The errors were comparatively minor to the sweeping claims made by Sherrill and others.

The investigation, performed by six OPR officers and four outside contractors, found only 5 areas of violation, including ice buildup in the freezers, fingerprinting omissions, and improper labeling of cleaning equipment.

Moreover, ICE has supplied records showing that state officials have been allowed into the facility for their own inspections, releasing proof from a May 28 visit. Despite such access, Democratic politicians and activists continued to spread the false claim that there have been no such inspections, rotting food, and disgusting conditions.

In support of the state lawsuit, Sherrill proclaimed

“If the GEO Group — with a $1 billion government contract — has nothing to hide and the conditions inside Delaney Hall are as safe and as sanitary as this private corporation and the Trump Administration claim, then there is no legitimate reason why my health inspectors are being kept from full access throughout the building. The people of New Jersey deserve transparency and accountability, and I will continue using all the power of this office to advocate for the detainees and their families.”

The complaint generally refers to public reports as the basis for the action:

“Since then, public reporting has raised significant concerns about public health conditions in the facility, including overcrowding and lack of ventilation; lack of or inadequate medical care or hygiene practices; unsanitary food and drink preparation and storage; and the unchecked spread of communicable diseases like COVID-19 and Influenza.”

That will make for an interesting hearing on the new lawsuit, where the court may question the good-faith accounts made in filings or public statements. The complaint is notably framed in vague terms about the underlying claims and the sources for those allegations.

It notably only asks for access, avoiding a direct demand for a finding of violations.

In the meantime, Sherrill continues to claim that local police are present to protect protesters from the ICE violence and repeats these claims about conditions at the facility.

DHS has continued to rebut claims made by politicians and pundits. However, few of those facts are penetrating the coverage of the protests or changing the sweeping claims being made by elected officials.

This lawsuit could allow for a full consideration of the claims and the facts surrounding the facility.

Here is the complaint: Washington v. The GEO Group

  1. If you start debating from the position that you think valid laws should be systematically broken, as Anonymous did at 11:49, you have already lost the argument.

    1. Old Man is saying the Civil Rights movement was wrong for breaking Jim Crow laws.

      1. Nice try, but you must have missed the word “valid” in my comment. Read it again.

And if you want to make that argument, you also have to explain why you believe the Immigration and Naturalization Act is unconstitutional.

        1. Old Man, you seem to sound like every pro-Trump commenter here. Funny how that goes. Just a coincidence, I guess.

          1. That is not an answer. That is a cop-out from a person who knows he has no argument. Liberals rarely respond on substance. You’re no exception. Enjoy the rest of your day.

          2. Pointing out the Immigration and Naturalization Act, immigration laws, the difference between legal and illegal immigration is not pro-Trump. The Immigration and Naturalization Act was passed in 1952.
Trump was like 6 years old.

        2. America had a Naturalization Act of 1802, which was passed by the American Founders and never legislatively abrogated. It was Lincoln who was completely wrong. Secession is not prohibited and is fully constitutional; the Civil War was unconstitutional, and its effects and consequences must be undone comprehensively, and America must be placed squarely back on the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

      2. OldManFromKS did not say that.
Jim Crow laws were not valid. That is what he is saying.
Are you saying Jim Crow laws were valid?

And if this is the annony from the 11:49 post about the American economy being dependent on illegals, not for much longer. I toured a working farm using robots to milk cows. Was not some one off.
There are companies making robots that can pick vegetables better and fast than humans.
I saw a prototype of a robot that can eliminate weeds. No spray required. Another one was in the works for pest control.

  2. The State of New Jersey, Governor Mikie Sherrill, et al. have committed acts of subversion, insurrection, and secession against the United States.

Governor Sherrill et al. must be apprehended, incarcerated, and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

  3. That funny. People thinking the riots are about non compliance.
Both sides know the riot is propaganda for the Democrats to change the nation to a socialist hellhole for us and paradise for the Democratic leaders. Their only disappointment is no protester got killed.

  4. On the lighter side, I couldn’t help but chuckle at one of the infractions, “ice buildup in the freezers”. So in an ICE facility we found too much ice?? Aside from the pun, why are the protesters and national media so worked up into a swivet by such triviality? Sadly one can only conclude that they must have pretty unfulfilling lives.

  5. Same way MSM distorts Delaney conditions, it also distorts yesterday’s primary results. MSM sources carried headlines gloating that “Trump-backed candidate in Iowa loses primary.”
While that may be technically true, MSM failed to mention that the results were 37.8% to 37.1% Some of the media sources didn’t want to mention that

  6. The leftist mob is describing the prison conditions they created for J6ers. As always they assume everyone else must be committing the same crimes as them.

  7. I wonder how many Democrat major metros could ever pass inspection as safe communities. Don’t let them set the standards for anybody else.

    1. Dem-run cities are hell-holes. Look what’s happening to Chicago, LA, San Fran, and Seattle. Wealth is being driven from NYC and Seattle under communist mayors. Their commie policies drive cities to the grave.

Meanwhile, their candidates wish two bullets in the heads of their opponents and wish death on their opponents’ young children, and they still get elected in blue states. In LA Dem voters favored a literal Karen who burned down the city, deprived it of water, and made it into a garbage dump replete with thousands of homeless, needles, and human feces on the street, and the voters want more of the same.

Now, also, in Maine they have a commie with a Nazi tattoo who sexted teenage girls right after getting married, and they’re sticking by him. Talk about toxic masculinity, sheesh!

      1. Kansas, we’ll find out in the coming election if the Palisades will be rebuilt. That’s literally true.

        1. Bass is re-elected and Becerra has it by adding steyers votes to his , landslide.

          California is out.

  8. Politicians are liars, and that applies to Republicans as well as Democrats. Don’t trust ANYTHING they put out. That applies to Donald Trump (Joe Biden when he was in the White House) on down. Media is even worse.

  9. I hate that so many people are being detained. No one should be detained in an immigration facility. I don’t understand why we tolerate this. If you’re in the country illegally, you should be immediately deported. There is no need to detain anyone, just deport them.

For anyone saying there should be “due process”, I agree. And that due process is:

    1) Are you a Citizen? (y/n)
    2) Do you have a valid visa, green card, or similar? (y/n)

If the answer to both of these questions is no, then you should be detained no longer than it takes to arrange transportation and off you go to get on with your life in the country of which you are a citizen and we can get on with ours. That is all the process that you are due.

    1. The above was written by our commeter in Saint Petersburg who has no clue of how much the U.S. economy is dependent on undocumented immigrants.

      1. How many Laken Rileys do you want? How many hardened murderers, rapists, child-traffickers, and drug traffickers do you want? How much lawlessness do you want? You want our immigration laws to mean nothing. GFY

        1. The rush to the bottom has been an amazing ride. The standards are lies, murder and robbery. People are being bought and sold again. It’s hidden.

          God bless you
          God bless America

      2. If the economy is dependent on additional workers, that is an easy problem to solve: Increase legal immigration.

Illegal immigration creates a host of problems across the board. Everything from depressing American wages to rampant identify theft all the way up to the truly horrific sexual crimes. Maybe you’re lucky or rich enough not to have been affected by illegal alien crime, but I have.

        1. Better solution is to take steps to draw Americans into the workforce: reform child labor laws, make salaries and benefits more attractive, reduce benefits to non-working able adults, etc.

      3. Illegal immigrants are like crack to businesses. And like crack, skaking off the addiction may be painful but will leave our nation healthier in the long run. Deport them all.

I guess if SCOTUS screws the American People on the birthright citizenship issue none of it matters anyway

      4. According to the House Budget office, that net COST of illegal immigration is $68,000 PER illegal immigrant. Illegal Immigrants make extensive use of the Welfare system, with an estimated 59% of households using one or more major welfare programs, coming to an estimated $42 Billion in welfare benefits used by those illegal immigrants. Further, illegal immigrants use Public Education, costing the American Taxpayer an additional $68.1 Billion, as well as an additional $7 Billion in health care costs annually. These illegal immigrants do pay some taxes, roughly $5.9 Billion in Federal income tax, 16.2 in Social Security Tax, and $3.8 Billion in Medicaid tax (How do they pay these taxes when they are illegal immigrants and are unable to LEGALLY secure either a SSAN or ITIN?). Further, according to the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), the U.S. loses at least $200 Billion per year from our economy in remittances (In full disclosure, I have advocated taxing these remittances at the rate of 50%-75%, mainly to get some of these illegal immigrants to deport themselves). They reported that at least 134 countries received remittances, some with a few thousand dollars, and others with tens of Billions, accounting for around 20% of the GDP of some countries in Central America, such as Honduras and El Salvador.

        1. The HOUSE is run by Republicans. I notice you cite no link to your claims. But, here is what the Brookings Institute says about migrants and their effect on our economy:

“Immigration contributes positively to economic growth by expanding the labor force, increasing consumer demand, and supporting overall GDP growth.

Empirical evidence indicates that immigrants have historically contributed more in tax revenue than they receive in public benefits, creating a substantial fiscal surplus for the U.S. government over time.

Immigration plays a critical role in mitigating the economic effects of an aging population by increasing the share of working-age individuals who support social programs such as Social Security and Medicare.”

Certain businesses such as agriculture and hospitality, rely on migrant labor. The Federation for American Immgration Reform is an anti-migrant organization–in other words, MAGA, and are not credible. And, BTW, according to the Pew Research Institute, the majority of Americans do not support how Trump is handling immigration.

          1. Brookings has increasingly become a leftist institution, don’t take anything they say at face value. You’ll also notice that it dishonestly conflates legal migration with illegal migration.

Just read back what you’re writing:
“Immigration contributes positively to economic growth”
“Immigration plays a critical role in mitigating the economic effects of an aging population”
“Certain businesses such as agriculture and hospitality, rely on migrant labor.”

The problem is not regulated legal immigration in general. The problem is the massive unregulated illegal immigration that brings unending criminality and societal degradation in its wake.

          2. I notice you cite no link to your brain. Here is what several Institutes say about migrants:
Why do you think illegal immigrants are the only ones capable of migrant work?
?-Because all the legal ones are already tied up stealing Joe Burrow’s and Patrick Mahomes’ jewelry, hauling in truckloads packed with other LEgal immigrants in their cargo truck beds, stealing tools from Home Depot, raping female joggers?
All they have to do is show up at a proper point of entry, doesn’t take much does it?

    2. You seem to ignore the wide and active use of habeas corpus as a means to delay indefinitely deportations. DHS has to put the detainees somewhere, or risk having to find them again.

      1. > use of habeas corpus as a means to delay indefinitely deportations.

Habeas Corpus should not apply. The individual in question is to be released into their home country and upon release, there is no question of habeas corpus because the individual is not being detained.

  10. Ukrainian Drones Hit Saint Petersburg As Russian Davos Opens

Hours before Russian President Vladimir Putin’s flagship economic forum opened Wednesday in his hometown of St. Petersburg, Ukrainian drones hit the region, offering a fiery reminder of the war as the Kremlin welcomed international guests including Rodney Mims Cook Jr., who is overseeing President Donald Trump’s planned White House ballroom.

Thick plumes of black smoke rose over the St. Petersburg, widely regarded as Russia’s second-most-important city after Moscow, on Wednesday morning, wafting over the city’s golden-dome churches and busy port.

    Edited From Today’s Washington Post
    ……………………………………….

About 18 months ago, a belligerent Trump told Zelensky that the latter had ‘no cards to play’. But Ukraine is still in the game disrupting Putin’s showcase forum with thick, black smoke that effected operations at Saint Petersburg’s airport as guests flew in to attend said event.

Yet Trump has sent a delegation to Saint Petersburg (the first in many years). So they can go back and tell Trump that Zelensky ‘still has no cards to play’ but is somehow still in the game.

One of our principal commenters on this blog is based in Saint Petersburg. Perhaps he could give us an update on this development.

  11. HEY, has anyone else noticed how the good professor’s daily blog articles and posts are immediately attacked by an increasing number of naysayers, discreditors, and correctors? He should feel buoyed and flattered by any perception that his take and reporting on issues are so threatening to a free-thinking and independent readership that they must be immediately pounced upon.

    1. Turley has gone full MAGA. Is posts are being attacked because fighting MAGAs is everyone’s patriotic duty.

      1. Sally, Try a side by side comparison of Leftard vs MAGA policy positions. It ends up looking like insanity vs common sense. If you really believe that men can become women and vice versa, that children should become pawns in gender based virtue signaling political fights, or that America needs 40M illegals then you should be hauled away by the men in ice cream suits with giant butterfly nets and locked safely away from society.

The greatest MAGA failing right now is Trump’s tragic choices regarding the Epstein saga, Israel, and its wars. I don’t think he can correct course at this point. NDAA 224 is treason.

        1. Oldfish, blaming Trump for Epstein is rediculous. Biden did nothing with the matter and it is mostly Dems implicated in the fiasco.

As for Israel, you sound like a typical Owens/Carlson/Megyn Kelly/Hassan Piker Jew hating illiterate.

It isn’t Israel’s wars that have killed Americans for 47 years, it is Iran and it’s proxies. It isn’t Israel alone that things it a bad idea for the insane Mullahs having a nuclear bomb and missiles that can reach around the globe. It isn’t Israel that wants to keep international shipping lanes open it is the USA that relies on open seas.

Maybe you think Obama and Biden did a good job with Iran and their aims, maybe you think it is fine if Iran has nukes, but Trump is right about stopping their program and if anything his mistake is dragging it on and not destroying Iran right now.

          1. Hullbaby, stop being “rediculous.”

It is amusing how a brief sidenote about a failing of “MAGA” triggers you guys. I expect SMeyer, to whom I owe zero explanations, concessions, or agreement, to chime in.

The “months away from a nuclear warhead” ploy was lame twenty years ago. That’s the second time Trump has fallen for it this past year🤣

If you weren’t aware, the strait of Hormuz was open until the US was dragged into the second attack on Iran. See comments by Rubio.

Why must you lamers always equate Israel with all Jewish people. I know Adderal Ben and Paroxysm Prone Levin say that, but really, it’s dumb at best, and manipulative at worst. Neither honest nor fair, but I guess that’s the narrative writers’ requirement. Toe that line simple man!

            Yawn.

            1. OldJewHatingFish, Zionism =Jews and you know it.

Your “brief side note” is a way of minimizing your need to throw Israel into an issue that isn’t about them. That’s typical.

As for equating me with Trumpbots that are never critical of him is just ignorant. I am critical when warranted.

To claim that Iranian nukes is a 20 year scam is definitely a Tuckerism and nonsensical.

Was the Strait open before hostilities? Of course. Well I guess you can say that before Munich there were no German troops in Paris!!

I notice you try to name/shame only two public commentators Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin. What is the common denominator there???? No insults for Owens, Carlson, Massie, kelly? Nope, only two Jews. You oddly have no issue with Tucker praising Islam and defending Iran but heaven forbid two Jewish guys defend Israel.

Take a look in the mirror pal, you’re looking at a bigot.

              1. Hullthing,

Not all zionists are jewish and not all jewish people are zionists. I would even bet that not all zionists agree with the current government’s actions. Your equation is wildly dishonest.

I was around before Tucker and have studied more physics and reactor design than he has. My opinion is my own.

Although I don’t agree with each on all points, I like Massie, Tucker, MTG, Boebert. Trump is very wrong about them.

Owens is something else. She could very well have uncovered some interesting truths but she throws up so much dust and chaff it’s hardly worth looking.

You really are an illiterate. I did not criticise your two favorite shillbots for defending their position, I criticised them for their dishonesty about the very same equation about which you are delusional. That might make you the bigot for assigning an ideolgy to people based on their religion. Yes, you are definitely the bigot🤣

You are blinded by your zealotry.

                Yawn yawn.

                1. ‘Not all Jews are Zionists and not all Zionists are Jews” and not agreeing with the Israeli government doesn’t make you a Jew hater!!! Your comments.

All anti-Zionists ARE Jew haters and that includes self-hating Jews like Bernie.

Of course you can disagree with the Israeli government as you can disagree with any government. But when you disagree with Trump or Biden you don’t call for the destruction of America. When your critical of Starmer or Mertz you’re not calling for the end of Britain or Germany.

Reread your words and look at the people you like…it’s all anti-Semites all the time.

Calling my defense of Jews and Israel is not zealotry, but your attacks are.

                  1. Where did I call for the destruction of Israel? Not once. Stop lying.

I wish my government would hold Israel at arms length and let them fight their own battles without my tax dollars.

It is a valid position and it is not antisemitic. I feel exactly the same about NATO. South Korea too. Don’t get me started on the Ukraine.

You are very careless in your reading and your words.

                    1. What is your definition of being anti-Zionist if not the destruction of Israel?

            2. Your comments were so foolish, I decided I need not chime in until you brought my name forward. You remain on the loony side, sounding more like Natasha-Gigi, and now Anonymous with an icon and a capital A. She is so loony-sounding that most simply let her babble. I thought you had more behind you, but you sound too much like her, except your posts are short, though perhaps growing in size as your words start to mimic hers.

              1. All you have is insults and name-calling for people who disagree with you. Have I stooped to that?

                1. Your uninformed comments continuously fail to address the history that I provided to you. Instead, they rely on biased framing. Applying a double standard to Israel while ignoring all other nations crosses the line from politics into antisemitism. Antizionism is a shield for prejudice and defamation of an entire nation. That is unacceptable.

    2. Lin, I agree with it possibly being complimentary but I also worry it could be malevolent action being taken by the left in order to silence another voice of reason. Don’t forget what was done to conservative voices during Biden’s reign of terror.

It is probably just a variation of the heckler’s veto as seen on campuses around the country. The right changes the channel, doesn’t buy the book or cancels their own subscription while the left demands that Fox News be taken off of cable systems, screams and whistles at speakers and even worse.

But one last possibility is that it’s just contrarian weirdos who are envious of anyone that went to law school and they think it’s a good idea to argue with Professor Turley, a constitutional scholar.

      1. Hello HB: my “compliment” was tongue-in-cheek and your comment is more likely reflective of truth/reality.
p.s. hoping your daily workouts have improved your overall well-being. I remember our earlier exchanges. Please don’t throw me in that there briar patch cuz I am back to good after not getting any more COVID prophylactic vaccines!

        1. Hey Lin, my daily workouts are hopefully keeping me upright as a try to keep on going on. I hope you are doing well after some of life’s battles. I too have stopped with the boosters, I think I had plenty enough early on.

PS. I will never throw you in the briar patch. Please keep on commenting as you are always an asset to common sense and reason.

Hi to Mr. Upstate too! Keep up the good work.

    3. Lin,
The good professor is pointing out how the Democrat party has been taken over by far leftists and illiberals. Those who come here to attack the good professor, like Sally, scream PT has gone MAGA.
      Nothing of the sort.
PT is the same, traditional liberal Democrat he always has been. He did not go MAGA. The Democrat party left him. His pointing out how the Democrat party has been taken over by far lefitsts and illiberals is what infuriates them. That is why they try to attack him on his blog, bringing up nonsense, projections of their own hate and rage.
Then there is the ones who try to make legal arguments with a law professor or with other actual lawyers but fail. So, they have to resort to AI to try to make a case and generally fail again. I think it was Sam or S. Meyer who pointed that out.
Then we have the serial commenters who have had to change their handle as they have been so thoroughly discredited by their own doing i.e. Natasha/Gigi/GSX/Esquire. Dennis, after being proven wrong so many times, at least had the good sense to go away. Or he had a stroke (yes, that was a Biden reference and the recent admission by Jill Biden proving what we all knew, while Gigi was screaming, “Where is the proof!?!?!?!!?).
It is not that PT has gone MAGA. It is he wants to see his party go back to it’s traditional roots, JFK like. If Democrats would do that, put up a traditional JFK candidate, I would vote for that person if I felt they were a better candidate than a GOP one. But as we have seen with the elections of Mamdani in NYC, Katie Wilson in Seattle and the Maine Democrat candidate with a Nazi tattoo, questionable Reddit history and now sexting history, the far leftist illiberals are here to stay.

    4. Lin, threatening? That’s abusing reality. More like fair game criticism. The fact is professor Turley’s articles and views are mostly misleading and occasionally correct. The majority of the problems associated with his article are omissions and disingenuous characterizations meant to rile up MAGA fans. It’s that obvious. The sad thing is it takes just a little bit of research to prove it. Even sadder is his fans get upset when it happens.

Being a free speech advocate Turley spends the majority of his writings attacking the left and providing dubious stories to stoke MAGA fans.

Today’s article is no exception. Linking to a Fox News article that is itself hugely misleading by claiming several independent inspectors and state inspectors found only a few violations. What Turley and Fox News left out is the inspectors were only allowed to inspect the kitchen. Not the living spaces, bathrooms, and the commons areas.

DHS has a record of lying to the courts and it’s not a stretch to say DHS is lying now.

Why would they limit the inspection to the kitchen. That’s not “full access”.

      1. Delany Hall has been arround since atleast Obama.

I would be shocked if it is a good place to be or the food was good.
I would also be shocked if it was not better than most Jails or prisons in the US.
And I would be shocked if it was substantially different today that in 2024, or 2020, or 2016.

No DHS does not have a record of lying to the court.

But SOME courts have a record of lying about DHS, the law, and the constitution.

That usually gets corrected on appeal and nearly always by the supreme court if it gets that far.

Is the Trump administration perfect – certainly not.
Are they far better than the Biden administration – absolutely.

But on issues like the food in the detention centers – you have to be NUTS to beleive there has been a day to night change.

        1. John Say, wrong as usual.

The facility was completely vacant and non-operational as an immigration center during the late 2010s and early 2020s. While it historically held ICE detainees from 2011 to 2017 under the Obama and early Trump administrations, it was later used as a halfway house/drug rehab center and sat entirely empty starting in 2023.

Things can change quickly. Contra your claim that it cannot.

The GEO group has an extensive record of poor conditions and similar issues at other facilities they run.

At their South Texas facility court filings and whistleblower testimonies from early 2026 revealed that families and small children held at this facility were regularly served moldy vegetables and meals containing live worms. Parents reported that young children ran high fevers and refused to eat the contaminated food, forced to survive on snacks.

Adelanto ICE Processing Center (California): An investigation by Disability Rights California exposed “solitary confinement-type conditions” in GEO Group’s administrative segregation units. The report detailed severe psychological torment, a complete failure to treat mental health disabilities, and multiple suicide attempts resulting directly from the facility’s harsh practices.

A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit forced the release of over 1,600 pages of internal DHS inspection reports spanning multiple facilities. Expert inspectors hired by the government itself described the conditions inside these private centers as “barbaric,” “unsafe,” and “filthy,” explicitly citing instances where “negligent” medical care directly contributed to detainee deaths.

Obviously there is plenty of evidence for the claims.

You say DHS does not lie to the courts, nope.

DHS and its operational arms (like ICE) have a well-documented history of misleading federal courts, submitting false testimony, or withholding evidence.

In ongoing litigation, DHS was forced to admit to a federal judge that its official claims regarding the destruction and non-preservation of text messages from high-ranking leadership were entirely “erroneous”. Whistleblowers have also testified before Congress that ICE has deliberately misled oversight bodies regarding cuts to foundational constitutional training for its agents.

Data presented in congressional oversight hearings reveals that DHS has ignored or circumvented court orders 96 times, direct contradictions to the claim that they simply follow the traditional appellate process up to the Supreme Court.

You show zero evidence courts “lie about the law”. More likely you’re lying with that claim.

          1. Here are the violations found at Delaney during the Obama years, causing him to shut down. At the time of this investigation, he had already been in office for 5+years. you are such a clown, X.
“ODO found deficiencies in the following six standards:
            Environmental Health and Safety
            Food Service
            Grievance System

did the compliant media hide the violations during Obama’s FIRST term, or did these just suddenly appear?

  12. Send the inspectors into any home and they’ll find problems. It’s a detention center and it’s imaginable there’s some rough cookies in there.

Agree with PT. Move forward with suit, quickly. As long as there aren’t 3 day old corpses present, it’ll pass muster.

  13. Trump went to the hospital on May 26, for the third time in 13 months. This has never happened with any other president.
He has not been seen in public since then – 8 days have passed without a public appearance.
Do you think there is anything to be concerned about ?????

  14. We have a lame-duck president. Have Republicans running for Congress and state elections studied the history of the longterm political consequences of Democrat FDR’s unconstitutional imprisonment program during World War Two?

Many of the surviving children and their families of FDR’s illegal imprisonment program 80 years later will never vote for a Democrat due to FDR’s unconstitutional, cruel and evil imprisonment program during World War Two.

In 2026, some of those children and their families still won’t vote for Democrats.

Any Republican legislator in Congress or state houses will pay for this illegal cruelty for their entire lifetime careers, trying to appease a lame-duck president! Hope it’s worth it!

  15. The Texas Ice Facility: Dilley Immigration Processing Center (Dilley, TX) is undergoing the Left-Media Treatment (Media Malpractice) by CBS:

Children “held like criminals” inside ICE detention center
More than 6,300 children under 18 – some as young as two months old, and almost all with no criminal record – have been arrested by federal immigration authorities during President Trump’s second term. Nearly half have been detained by ICE at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center outside San Antonio. “Sunday Morning” correspondent Jim Axelrod talks with a family that was held at Dilley for almost four months; and with Rep. Joaquin Castro, who is calling for Dilley to be shut down due to inhumane conditions, charges the Trump administration denies.

  16. Was the Legislative Branch “Government Accountability Office” (GAO) involved in the inspection? Were any Judicial Branch judges witness to the inspections?

Executive Branch officials – subordinate to Trump – performed the inspection.

Real checks & balances are from separate co-equal branches of government, not one branch policing itself. It’s same reason local police “Internal Affairs” can’t sufficiently supervise police chiefs – the IA officers answer to the local police chief (the person most responsible for their department’s culture). Essentially the Fox guarding the henhouse!

This is not a legitimate inspection by a co-equal branch of government.

    1. The article says the state officials also conducted their own investigation on May 28

    2. Hey Anonymous, do you think that there are Democrats that still work at DHS who were involved in this the inspection? Do you think that in a place like Washington D.C. that people who voted for Harris were involved in this inspection and helped in publishing the report? According to your conspiracy only Republicans were involved in an inspection in a place that is overwhelmingly occupied by liberals. Get a grip.

    3. “Executive Branch officials – subordinate to Trump – performed the inspection.”

Then you also must accept as true that “”Executive Branch officials – subordinate to [Biden] – performed the inspection.”
and “Executive Branch officials – subordinate to [Obama] – performed the inspection,” and so on….

      p.s. GAO and judges?????????

      1. (slightly modified for clarity only:
“Then you also must accept as true that, [during their tenures], “”Executive Branch officials – subordinate to [Biden] – performed the inspection,” etc.)

  17. NBC, ABC, PBS and more all carried headlines of worms found in the food at various ICE facilities. (ABC removed its story.)
Let’s see how many of these same MSM/legacy media sources even mention this inspection result.
I also WISH we could legislate cessation of pending immigration hearings/procedures and quick pronto deportation for any detainee (or a family member thereof) who lies about conditions or treatment to all-too-eager media sources.

    1. Lin,
Thank you for bringing up that ABC pulled the story. Interesting to see someone at ABC might have thought reporting on a unverified story might not be the best in journalism practices.

    2. “. . . worms found in the food . . .”

      Well, maybe not worms.

But c’mon, Lin. They’re not given sterling silver salad forks.

      The inhumanity!

  18. It’s time to round up the puppet masters who stage and coordinate these fiascos that attempt to shape a false narrative that spreads across the country like wildfire.

    1. @Catherine

Agreed. ‘Organic’ is a word that no longer exists in the modern left’s lexicon. Everything, everything, is planned, scripted, and paid for. Enough is enough.

Actual cardboard is more human and real than the cutouts of the 2026 DNC. And again: I’m a lifelong centrist and independent. There is nothing remaining for someone like me to even consider in the modern left, and I won’t ever again. They are globalists or worse, period. Worldwide.

    2. Yes, we need to kill the head of the snake rather than just jousting with their ever-available army of indoctrinated tools. Those incompetent “soldiers” on the ground just know how to pick up a sign and read the script. Most have no concept of what is truly happening (and this includes a good deal of the media – I offer the dolts on “The View” as an example of purchased propaganda and most of the democrat politicians and bureaucrats ensconced by obama/autopen) We know that it starts in pre-school with the indoctrinated care-givers who pathetically think they are doing “good” and it doesn’t end through higher education and employment at woke corporations – all whose aim is to create obedient, indoctrinated soldiers for the “fundamental transformation” of America.
