This afternoon, I did the Billy Goat Trail with my daughter on a perfect Fall day and wanted to share some photos from the gorgeous hike.
Billy Goat is one of my favorite, go-to hikes. I generally like to do the trail at sunrise but we went at midday on Sunday. I cannot recommend the hike more for anyone visiting the area.
Here are some of the pictures.

Thank you, Jonathan; we can enjoy hiking the photo trail! But you forgot something: the origin of the name, Billy Goat Trail. There must be a story.
Beautiful, Jonathan; we can enjoy the photo hike. But you forgot something: telling us the origin of the name, Billy Goat Trail!
Thank you for the beautiful photos! The scenery reminds me a lot of the St. Croix River area that divides Minnesota & Wisconsin northeast of the Twin Cities!
Absolutely beautiful! Thanks for the afternoon interlude.
Love the Billy Goat Trail as well as the River Trail on the VA side. Enjoy hiking down in Scott’s Run park as well to see the waterfall and the overlook. Looks like you had a great weather day!
