Undercover Bust: Tehran Chief of Police Makes Spitzer Looks Positively Restrained

Eliot Spitzer can finally claim some level of restraint. Tehran’s police chief, Reza Zarei has reportedly been arrested naked in a brothel with six naked prostitutes. Before his bust, Zarei was charged with enforcing morals on the city, which he did with vigor.

Various Iranian websites are reporting the arrest of Zarei, who is close to the mayor of Tehran and former chief of the police forces, Mohammed Bagher Qalibaf.

Zarei last attracted attention (fully clothed) by raiding various Iranian concerts and labeling them “satanist” affairs in a crackdown on modern music and dancing. Click here

He has now resigned but Iranian government-controlled media has not reported the incident.

He would be an ideal candidate for a senatorship or gubernatorial office… He seems to have the required skill-set down pat.
