Morocco Arrests and Expels Five Europeans Caught “Red-Handed” in the Act of Teaching Muslims About Christianity

125px-flag_of_moroccosvgMorocco has joined the list of Islamic nations denying freedom of religion to its citizens. Five women were arrested by authorities and sent to Spain after they were caught allegedly in the act of converting Muslims to Christianity. Presumably, any effort to teach Muslims the benefits or values of Christianity could qualify for this particular offense.

The women were four Spaniards and one German. They are described as evangelical Christians.

The interesting side note is that Morocco is primarily Sunni and recently cut off diplomatic relations with Iran (which is primarily Shia) after accuing its embassy staff of trying to convert Moroccans into Shia followers.

I’m not exactly a fan of people who missionary work, but isn’t it interesting how people of supposed stong faith are so frightened by other beliefs. I think that says a lot about the
real purposes of organized Fundamentalist Religion.

My good friends have a sign on his front door that says, “Warning: this house is occupied by Skeptic\atheist\Libertarians. If you’re a missionary, we’ll just open the door and laugh at you!” with a picture of both of them pointing and laughing underneath.

    Gyges:

I wondered about the use of “friends” and “his” until I read further which would explain the multiple personalities.

Also in regard to Gyges, you are invisible but you are not doing bad things. So are you the Anti-Gyges? Or have you in fact dethroned a king?

    Bron,

The truth is much simpler: I was interrupted in my proof reading by the world’s happiest toddler wanting his Dad to read him a book…

The name is started mainly as a play on the anonymity of the internet.

Excuse me, “the name is mainly…”

    Bron,

You’re way off, we’re on The Philosophy of History.

Okay, let me see if I understand this now. Under international rendition policy, fundamentalist Muslims are sent to Muslim countries to be tortured. Fundamentalist Christians are sent to the base camp of the Inquisition. It’s beginning to make sense.

Good on Morocco. The USA is more than enough proof that Christianity is a dangerous, noxious religion, every bit as nasty as Islam.

Why not ban marketing religion ?
Solves most of the religion problems in the world.
