Todd Marcum, 41, in Oregon has been arrested for putting an electric dog collar on each of his four children and then shocking them because he “thought it was funny.”
Marcum’s little game involved chasing his children – aged 3, 6, 8 and 9 – with the collar to make them cry. Each one was shocked on at least one occasion.
He has been charged with four charges of first-degree criminal mistreatment.
Marcum seems to come from a certain perverse faction of parents, including this father who enjoyed baby cockfights.

Funny?
As much as I love the Constitution and the Rule of Law, I have to say this is an instance where the four charges of first-degree criminal mistreatment should result in four episodes of a severe beating for this “man”. It’s an emotional response, sure, but if you’re willing to shock a 3 year old for “fun”, you simply deserve to get your ass kicked. Repeatedly.
There are days when any electrical appliance in the house, including the vacuum cleaner, offers more entertainment than the TV set.
