Mercedes Nichols, 17, gained international infamy when a video showed her participating in the ambushing and beating of cheerleader Victoria Lindsay. Now, Nichols has been arrested again for assault in Polk County, Florida for allegedly beating and stabbing her ex-boyfriend.
Nichols allegedly violated a court restraining order by tracking down her ex-boyfriend and then stabbing him repeatedly with a pen. She now has additional charges for three counts of misdemeanor battery, one count of misdemeanor stalking, two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of aggravated stalking. All are felonies.
Nichols is accused of being the person who originally invited Mulberry High cheerleader Victoria Lindsay to her home so that she could be ambushed. This will not help things for Nichols, who is now looking at some serious potential time.

Whats scary, i knew her personally when i was a little kid. She was nebhiors with my grandmother. She was like an older sister. I never remember her being violent at all. She was to sweet. Thats why i was so shocked and hurt when i found out about this.
Look at Mercades Nichols mothers myspace (Christina Garcia). Shes talking about how she isnt a bad mother. Well sometimes you earn the title as a bad mother. She was also defending her in the Victoria beating saying that she didnt beat her that she just sit and watch the fight and was too afraid to call 911, and that the cop was lying when he said she was the head leader of the fight. So she invited the five girls to her house and they just decided they where going to beatup Victoria and videotape her and kidnapped her. And Mercades just sit and watched. I dont buy it, what she saying doesnt make any sense. And than she beat and stabs her boyfriend and her mother defended her than and said he was abusing her while she was pregnant and made her miscarry. Oh yeah and she also got pregnant on purpose as an unmarried 17 year old. Yes her parents are divorced. And she was living with her grandma at the time. Where was her grandma when the five girls come to their house and decided to kidnap Victoria and beat her for 35 minutes? I also know her mother was living in Florida at the time too. Where was the Mercades mother or father? This tell me alot about her family and how she was raised. And Christina also talk about spanking kids and how you couldnt get away with spanking your kid in the Wal-Mart in Florida and how you should spank your kid and how she spank Mercades and disciplined her on her myspace. Well what do she know about raising kid when her daughter almost got life in jail.
So now the six girls and two boys that participated in the beating are out on bail. Take that out on Dr.Phil. Its Dr.Phil fault they are out on bail.
One of the girls parents also said that the girls needed help not jail, and they need someone to sit down with them and talk. Whoever said that needs help.
Have anyone notice the fight was because April Copper stole Victoria Lindsay boyfriend and Victoria supposedly trash talk her telling her she was going to fight her. Well these young girls dont get very good messages. They either get messages that they should just suck it up and find another boyfriend. Like that going to help with their problem. Or that girls like that dont have any class.

sad thing is i know this girl on a personal level. i actualy almost dated her. and i can verify that because we use to be in band together and she played the flute. and the sad thing she didnt use to be like that till she started hanging around britni hardcastle. which i know her personaly as well we use to sit a lunch together.

It’s never too late; with aggression, violence, stupidity and criminal conduct, all she needs is a rich daddy and she could be President.
I have a feeling she’ll be getting more love in jail than she did at home.
It’s low self esteem and not knowing how to properly engage. She probably beat up that girl in a misguided attempt to have friends and be part of a group, maybe there was some jealousy towards her victim. She’s a throw away kid, angry, and a teenager. I’ll bet that she comes from a divorced family, the father is absent. That causes abandonment issues in girls and makes the boyfriend’s rejection more painful, heightening the feeling that she is unlovable. Overeating is a method to mask pain, but the stabbing someone is just over the top. This girl needed serous guidance, and emotional help after the first incident. Too bad it might be to late. She won’t get it in jail.
Rafflaw, I cannot begin to imagine how a kid only 17 years old could have such tendencies toward violence. You have to wonder how much of that she got from her own upbringing.
