It’s a fake bird!!! Just look at it. No jay would come down to drink next to a cat!!!
Jays are formidable and fearless BIL! no doubt there is a smidgeon of that knowledge by the cat…
I’m surprised the bluejay isn’t attacking the cat. That’s as mean a creature as any that roams earth and sky. Foul tempered.
