A Florida dance troupe is learning the cultural ways of the Big Apple after they ditched their cars in the Lincoln Tunnel and dashed away on foot wearing camo. Seems our tiny dancers were late for a TV appearance on BET’s “106 & Park” show. Those lovers of dance, the Port Authority police and the FBI-NYPD Joint Terrorism Task Force gave chase. The Tunnel was shut-down for 45 minutes during rush hour. Even with the rousing police escort, the dancers were late and headed back to Jacksonville still undiscovered but famous nonetheless.
I like to think Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figaro” was playing background as the chase ensued, but that’s just the music lover in me.

People in camouflage running away from their abandoned cars in Lincoln Tunnel – what could be suspicous about that? Good on whoever checked them out.
Being very familiar with the Lincoln Tunnel people are already paranoid with the merging of traffic getting into one of the tubes and depending on how the person who determines the flow of traffic, how their day or night has went.
That must have been some sight,The group running down the helix and into the lines of traffic with camouflage gear on to boot.
Priceless!!
