Harry Alford, president and CEO of the National Black Chamber of Commerce, really needs to work a bit harder on his historical references. On The Laura Ingraham Show, Alford labeled the administration “Marxist” and “fanatical” and added that they “might as well put on the brown shirts and swastikas.”
Alford was a supporter of Obama in 2008.

The most aggrieved parties may be Marxists and Fascists, however. The Brown shirts were worn by fascists. Marxists often wore tasteful Mao jackets in the East or proletarian garb in the West.
Alford has written such pieces as Why Does President Obama Hate Black Businesses?. An article that curiously begins with “It is not about race.”
The organization seems a family affair. Kay DeBow Alford is the Senior Vice President of the organization.

I ain’t creating propaganda douche bag, I am just telling the truth. I wouldn’t want people to know fascism and socialism are pretty much the same either.
Get your history straight propagandist. Quit spreading that Mao and Stalin death is good dogma. Your limited understanding of economics always shows and is distressing since your lies influence the uneducated and undereducated.
It is actually sad that you would push an economic system that does nothing but cause misery on good people by telling them it is good for them. Even though Portugal, Ireland, Greece and Spain give us evidence to the contrary.
Keep spouting your socialist propaganda, its just funny. Ho, Ho, Ho who you gonna loot today? The butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker?
No. My post says Hitler was a fascist. You can try to twist the facts all you want, douche bag. He was a socialist in name only and a fascist in fact. If you don’t like the history of events, your two choices are 1) take it up with historians by proffering evidence to the contrary (which you can’t) or 2) try to be a historical revisionist. Not only is option #2 your apparent choice, but a scatologically appropriate choice on your part since you’re completely full of shit. A lie is a lie is a lie and every word that comes out of your mouth is a lie you tell in rationalization of you being a venal sociopath with no concern for your fellow man beyond what they can put in your bank account. Keep trying to rationalize that you’re still somehow a good guy while being a greedy, narcissistic, objectivst fascist pig. I’m a demonstrated anti-propagandist and I’ll let my record here speak for itself on that matter; just as I’ll let my record stand on being a rational humanist, non-partisan and a staunch defender of the Constitution as informed by the Declaration. I also have factual accounts of history on my side as well accurate technical etymology on my side, i.e. unlike you, I don’t make up historical facts and definitions to suit my own purposes but instead rely upon that thing that is alien to your “philosophy” – the truth.
You on the other hand? Every gyration and twist you make to claw your way out from under the facts of history, philosophy, sociology and economics makes you look more and more the true propagandist you are in fact. Anything to preach that Gospel of St. Ayn and spread the dogma “Greed is good”. Isn’t that right, Gordon?
That I’m better at defusing propaganda than you are at creating it is your misfortune, Rove Jr., but you keep trying to smear me all you like. Not only does it show the complete failure of your arguments in favor of greed and objectivism and your sheer desperation?
It’s funny as Hell.
Buddha is Laughing:
so your post says he was a socialist who wasn’t quite willing to confiscate land.
He probably figured since most of the senior officer corps of the Wehrmacht were landed aristocrats, it might not be such a good idea to take their land. Even socialist dictators are political at some point.
But good try at obfuscation and deceit. Your propaganda and lies are crystal clear and your loyalty and fondness for your Fuhrer is very unbecoming. To continue fealty to a discredited idea is so Quixotic or would that be psychotic?
AY,
That avatar is classic elven magic.
erykah,
Unless the black man in question was a racist, on the offensive first and I was trying to escalate, I would never use the term “boy” to a black man. But I have run into racist black men (and women) in the past and I have used that term and worse in retaliation. As soon as I hear words to the effect of “cracker, etc.” used seriously by a non-white? It’s game on. That being said, I tend to be precise in my language selection even when being insulting. If I wanted to get the same effect as “boy” used above with a non-racist black man, I’d use the word “child” instead. However, since I’m not dealing with a person I know to be of any color above, the point is moot as the intent was exactly as I stated; a remark to immaturity.
Buddha,
Let me be straight forward. Due to the history of racism in this country, I think it would be wise to refrain from calling any Black man “Boy.” Call me oversensitive if you will. I do not care. It’s offensive. E’nuf said.
AY, stop. this is the one. Leave it. Classy and elegant in its simplicity.
mespo,
which Avatar is that you wish….I am very changeable… let me know and I will pick out another to wear…..
Bdaman-
I am embarrassed to say that the closest I can come to a Metal Band collection are some ZZ Top, AC/DC, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and Nirvana on…wait for it…cassette tapes. Oh, the shame of it all! However, the last ten years of my working career, I worked with some young guys who had the Rock station playing all day which I enjoyed greatly.
“Yah! I come to snuff The Rooster, but he ain’t gonna die-ee-iy!”
As I type this, I’m listening to some Count Basie circa 1941. Old guy music at it’s best!
AY:
I want … No, I need that avatar!!
erykah,
Whenever I use the term “boy”, it is a reflection of the person’s lack of maturity. In this case, an objectivist apologist rationalizing “greed is good”: Roco (he who posts under many other names).
Surely you’ve read enough of my posts by now to realize 1) I’m not a racist and 2) if I wanted to hurl racial epithets, I would be much more direct than “boy”. For example when I’ve called actual racists “Whitey” and “Cracker”. Epithets only have the power people imbue them with. There is no need to give “boy” in this instance any more power than simply “childish”.
Had I wanted to say something racially insensitive about Alford? I’d have said something like “Most black guys have a sense of style, but this guy dresses like the corporate banking version of Huggy Bear.” Or “Alford is an Uncle Tom.” Unless I’m dealing with a racist, I won’t go to race.
I hope this clarifies the matter.
No way Henman, you should have waited. The line up for 2011 is awesome.

Mike Appleton-
I was not familiar with the Black United Randian Panthers (BURP), but back in the 1970’s I was a member of the White American Randian Panthers Eastern Division (WARPED). I soon left the organization after I discovered how twisted their ideas were.
As the saying goes, “Every one who is in my skin is not my kin.”
Question 1: Buddha and Frank, Who is the “boy” you are referring to?”
Is this another overtaken by “memes”?
Nope. Lies are lies no matter how often you repeat them.
Hitler was a fascist and a socialist in name only until he got power. Then he killed the socialists within the Nazi party. Attempting to revise history won’t change what actually happened.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazism#Relation_with_fascism
Also see Operation Hummingbird (a.k.a. The Night of the Long Knives), which took place from June 30 to July 2, 1934. “Hitler’s speech [to a group of Nazi high officials on July 6, 1933] signaled his intention to rein in the SA, whose ranks had grown rapidly in the early 1930s. This would not prove to simple, however, as the SA[, led by Ernst Röhm,] made up a large part of Nazism’s most devoted followers. The SA traced its dramatic rise in numbers in part to the onset of the Great Depression, when many German citizens lost both their jobs and their faith in traditional institutions. While Nazism was not exclusively – or even primarily – a working class phenomenon, the SA fulfilled the yearning of many unemployed workers for class solidarity and nationalist fervor. Many stormtroopers believed in the socialist promise of National Socialism and expected the Nazi regime to take more radical economic action, such as breaking up the vast landed estates of the aristocracy. When the Nazi regime did not take such steps, those who expected an economic as well as a political revolution were disillusioned.” – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_of_the_long_knives
“But in origin the National Socialists had been a radical anti-capitalist party, and this part of the National Socialist programme was not only taken seriously by many loyal Party members but was of increasing importance in a period of economic depression. How seriously Hitler took the socialist character of National Socialism was to remain one of the main causes of disagreement and division within the Nazi party up to the summer of 1934.” Bullock, Alan, Hitler: A Study in Tyranny. New York: Harper, (1958), p. 80.
Seems to me like you’re still lying to us and to yourself in an attempt to rationalize that you can be a greedy exploitative scumbag and still somehow be a good person.
Facts. Like the fact that European style democratic socialism isn’t anti-capitalist. It’s restrained capitalism. It’s anti-fascist and it’s anti-exploitation. Which explains why you hate it so much as a Randian sociopath and proponent of fascism (which is what laissez-faire capitalism – no rules for business – inevitably leads to).
Too bad for you the facts don’t match your opinions, greed boy.
Green Eggs and Ham:
Fascism is socialism with a nationalistic bent.
I don’t make the rules, I just call them as I see them. The big 3 collectivist economic models are pretty much the same. Although Marx says that workers should own the capital, but he doesn’t really believe it if you read the Manifesto. He says the workers are too stupid to run things and so they need help from the elite. My but that is self serving.
Maybe you just don’t like the fact that the economic model/philosophy you have given your life to is nothing but a great big lie and a pox on the human race.
To bad for you radical boy. It isn’t my fault your life is based upon a fabrication from the mind of a psychotic little rich boy who couldn’t make it on his own. Wa Wa Wa.
“Through the agency of three new guilds (the Food Estate, the Estate of Trade and Industry, and the Labor Front), the government assumed control of every group of producers and consumers in the country. In accordance with the method of “German socialism,” the facade of a market economy was retained. All prices, wages, and interest rates, however, were “fixed by the central authority. They [were] prices, wages, and interest rates in appearance only; in reality they [were] merely determinations of quantity relations in the government’s orders . . . . This is socialism in the outward guise of capitalism.”
The nation’s businessmen retained the responsibility to produce and suffered the losses attendant on failure. The state determined the purpose and conditions of their production, and reaped the benefits; directly or indirectly, it expropriated all profits. “The time is past,” explained the Nazi Minister of Economics, “when the notion of economic self-seeking and unrestricted use of profits made can be allowed to dominate . . . . The economic system must serve the nation.”
“What a dummkopf I was!” cried steel baron Fritz Thyssen, an early Nazi supporter, who fled the country . . . .
As to Hitler’s pledges to the poorer groups: the Republic’s social insurance budgets were greatly increased, and a variety of welfare funds, programs, agencies, and policies were introduced or expanded, including special provisions for such items as unemployment relief, workmen’s compensation, health insurance, pensions, Winter Help campaigns for the destitute, the Reich Mothers’ Service for indigent mothers and children, and the National Socialist People’s Welfare organization.”
Seems pretty similar to me. Maybe you ought to start calling it the big truth.
swastikas, dollar signs, and crosses, oh my!
Blackshirts? Brownshirts? Some Capitalist/Fascist/Irrationalists wear black and white striped shirts with white collars and green/white neckties that look like $100 bills.
Mike S- It’s clear that political names don’t always mean what they say. The original name of the Nazi Party was NSDAP- in English: “National Socialist German Workers Party”. As you said , the true Socialists were rounded up and disappeared after Hitler took power. As to the “Workers”, most of them were inducted into the German Army and their former jobs were done by slave laborers from the occupied countries.
Hey! Don’t be too hard on troll boy! To someone with his tiny cranial capacity marxists/fascists/socialists ARE all the same. Of course he could have added liberal, Democrat and progressive – he can’t differentiate any philosophy that does not fit his myopic world “view”, they are all the same.
