Dentist Under Investigation After Removing Every Tooth From Mouth Of Ex-Boyfriend

Dr. Anna Mackowiak is being accused of a horrific act of vengeance against her ex-boyfriend, Marek Olszewski. The Polish dentist had agreed to treat Olszewski for a toothache despite their breakup just days after they broke up. After being given a high dose of anaesthetic, Mackowiak ripped out every tooth in Olszewski’s mouth. It must be welcomed news for Dr. W.B. Galbreath that there is some other dentist who looks worse today.

Olszewski did not realize what had happened until he later undid the bandages and found that he had no teeth left.
Mackowiak does not appear to have any more legal and medical sense. She proceeded to give an interview and admit “I tried to be professional and detach myself from my emotions. But when I saw him lying there I just thought, ‘What a bastard.’”

What is interesting is that she only faces a possible three years? This would constitute an aggravated case of assault and battery in the states as well as tortious battery and the intentional infliction of emotional distress. If she had kicked his teeth in, it could have caused less damage but would have been treated more seriously.

In comparison, the dentist recently convicted in using paper clips in root canals faced 15 years in jail and received one jail after pleading guilty. That would seem far less serious that mutilating a patient out of anger.

Clearly, it is a poor idea to go to your recent ex for medical or dental work. However, this crime as the aggravating circumstance of abusing a position of trust.

  1. Go for the joke’s…. Ya hear about the polish car wash?

They wax it before they are as it…..

  2. At least orly may have company…..

What the hell possessed this moron to go to her in the first place?

    OS, you might be right…..

    Nal…. Check up I hope……

  3. What would a court give the victim here in jail time if he kicked in her teeth?
Or broke ten of her fingers?

  4. The Daily News piece JT linked to added this:

Olszewski, who will get implants, said his new girlfriend could not handle being with a man who did not have teeth — and dumped him.

If he is as bereft of his senses as American voters are, he will go back to the amorous dentist to have his implants installed, and perhaps play some fiddle music while his gums burn.

  5. Aside from loss of teeth, this is a hideously painful procedure. I know someone who stupidly followed a dentist’s advice and had all her teeth pulled. She was in severe pain for a week. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer….

  6. Do they send people to jail for kicking in someone’s teeth in Poland? (Actually assume they may do but for how long?
