Taylor Chapman, 27, has been preparing for law school after graduating from Nova Southeastern University. That may not be the most promising career choice after Chapman posted a video (below) that has now gone viral showing her abusing workers at a Dunkin’ Donuts as she taunts them with racist and unhinged insults. Few law schools would welcome an application from such a person and even fewer bars would welcome such a person as a bar member. [Warning: both the video and the transcript below contains racist and profane language]
Chapman graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business & Marketing and has been preparing for law school applications. She took a detail however to the local Dunkin’ Donuts where she recorded herself abusing the workers over what she viewed as some type of oral contract for a free drink or meal. She is shown on video explaining “This girl was so f**king rude to me and said ‘OK well you can get your order free next time,’ So you know what I told her, I said ‘I want the whole fucking menu b**ch, twice.’” She then adds the legal point that “[a] guarantee is a guarantee and I’ve already called my lawyer and he is already on it.” She then descends into racist and profane insults, calling the woman who attended her “a complete cunt sand ni**er whore.”
She then proclaims that she will make this all public saying “Well, guess what? This shit’s about to go live, bitch. Right on Facebook . . . Cause I already posted what your dumb ass did last night. So I hope you’re happy with your little fucking sand ni**er self. Cause I’m about to nuke your whole fucking planet from Mars. You think ya’ll are tough big fat Arabs bombin’ the Trade Center? I’ll show you tough.”
It seems clear that there may be serious mental issues involved in this disgraceful scene. However, it raises an interesting issue. In my view, a law school should deny her application on this video alone as someone who is facially unsuited to serve as an attorney. This is not a free speech question. I am not questioning her right to use such language, but she is attacking individuals (who by the way show remarkable patience and restraint in the face of this tirade) in an unbalanced and abusive encounter. Even when a fellow customer objects to being recorded, she says “It’s your issue. I’ve got my own issues.”
Yes, Ms. Chapman, you have serious, serious issues.
Bad behavior and bad judgement, what a combo!
Blouise:
Wonderful quote and absolutely perfect for this situation.
This young woman will have great difficulty coping should she ever encounter an actual problem in her life..
Firstly,Can’t you just hear the easy going soft spoke customer saying to himself, “What a b!tch!”
Secondly, she’s great source material for Nicki — e.g., ad hominems galore

As of yesterday, the two employees who showed such patience are being rewarded by Dunkin Donuts. I believe it’s a monetary award along with a trip to company headquarters.
I don’t know what actually happened the previous day with her original order, but her credibility is low.
The cashier took her accusations on faith that she was actually telling the truth and tried to remedy the issue, yet she continued to proclaim she was going to cause embarassment to the business by posting it the video.
Stupidly, she believed it would succeed but in reality the restaurant looked better and she was the one who looked badly.
I wouldn’t go so far to deny her admission to law school on this alone, but certainly there is likely to be other substantive problems she manifests that would preclude her anyway. The video is rather the symptom than the disease.
“O would some power the giftie gie us to see ourselves as others see us.” (Robert Burns)
This girl has serious issues. And all this vitriol over not getting a RECEIPT?! Get help.
I don’t know any successful plaintiff’s attorney who is so oblivious to how his public conduct will be perceived by others. She really appears to think that viewers of the video will respond with a mental equivalent of “you go, girl” rather than “you seem in urgent need of mental health treatment.”
“Would you like a side order of jacka$$ with that? Oh, never mind. I see you brought your own.”
She needs help.
The DD employee was a prince. An absolute prince.
As for law school? Not an option.
I think she has career options,… Judge….. Or Marshal in Nevada…. Or animal control in Ohio….. Then again…. ICE is looking for dedicated employees….. Maybe. She’s gotta career with Sheriff Joe….
When she finishes law school maybe she can join the law firm with Roy L. Pearson, Jr. who sued his dry cleaner for ‘$67 million for inconvenience, mental anguish and attorney’s fees’ in Washington DC.
Hey, a guarantee of customer satisfaction is a guarantee – and that is important!
Hell, based on today’s posts she may be judge material.
Thirdly, the bulemic b!tch probably just goes into the bathroom and hurls up whatever she ordered.
“There are certain well-defined and narrowly limited classes of speech, the prevention and punishment of which have never been thought to raise any constitutional problem. These include the lewd and obscene, the profane, the libelous, and the insulting or “fighting words” those that by their very utterance inflict injury or tend to incite an immediate breach of the peace. It has been well observed that such utterances are no essential part of any exposition of ideas, and are of such slight social value as a step to truth that any benefit that may be derived from them is clearly outweighed by the social interest in order and morality.

Firstly,Can’t you just hear the easy going soft spoke customer saying to himself, “What a b!tch!”
Secondly, I think she would make a helluva ambulance chaser.

Well, I am. This is not free speech but verbal abuse of another human being. It is also provocation to violence which is neither legal nor acceptable. No one has to take that abuse in the name of the First Amendment. Law school? I’d say give her the law books free — across the face. And throw in some soap to wash out that vile mouth.
She recorded herself delivering this tirade. She may be the next Nancy Grace.
First observation, just by the body language and quick comment can you just hear that soft spoke customer saying to himself, “What a bitch” or even the “c” word.
Secondly, I think she would make a helluva plaintiff’s attorney.
