The attorney for the city of Union, William “Billy” Whitney Jr., 65,, has been arrested after being accused of dismissing criminal defendants in exchange for sexual favors. He was employed as a prosecuting attorney for Union in 2011 and 2012 when the alleged misconduct occurred.
Whitney resigned after the allegations “due to certain health issues.” He had served as the city attorney for 17 years.
The charge of “malfeasance and/or misfeasance or misconduct in office” could result in a sentence of up to 10 years in prison. I assume that additional charges are being explored in such a case since the alleged act would involve an array of dishonest conduct in the handling of the charges as well as the underlying threats against the victims.

From prosecution to prostitution: Not a very good career path for this man.
I suppose his license is clipped upon charging with a felony…..
Damn! I was going to make the barbershop remark!
Another life-changing opportunity squandered!
If true, it is time for retirement. But in a different kind of “retirement” home.
I follow these type of cases that happen all the time, and if I could lay down a bet in Las Vagas very little will happen to this so-called man of law….
He probably discriminated against unattractive women too.
