I don’t do roller coasters either. In fact, I cannot think of a single pilot I know–and I know a lot–who might be willing to get on a roller coaster. For some inexplicable reason, pilots tend to be phobic about high places. Roofs, balconies, rock ledges, tall ladders and roller coasters give us the willies.
Strangely enough, rolling upside down in an open cockpit biplane is no big deal. Go figure. My youngest daughter has still not forgiven me for selling the airplane.
