Pastor and Radio Host Kevin Swanson Says Disney’s Movie “Frozen” Is a Satanic Push to Turn Kids Gay

Submitted by Elaine Magliaro, Weekend Contributor

Kevin Swanson, a pastor and host of Religious Right, voiced his criticisms of Disney’s blockbuster movie Frozen on his radio program last month. Swanson claimed that the animated movie pushes an agenda “to indoctrinate homosexuality and bestiality in children.” He told his co-host Steve Vaughn that Satan was using the movie “to indoctrinate my 5-year-old to be a lesbian.” Both men posited some theories about the film’s “progressive” agenda even though neither had actually seen the film.

Swanson and Vaughn claimed that the movie’s Oscar-winning song “Let It Go” was “a coming out song, marking the moment when Elsa realizes she was ‘born that way’ and accepts who she is.” They also pointed out that in the movie the “fiercely independent” character Elsa “never considers a male suitor…” What is a logical person to assume? Elsa MUST be a lesbian…right???

But those aren’t the only problems that Swanson and Vaughn find with the movie Frozen. They feel that Jonathan Groff’s character has an “unnatural relationship” with his animal companion, Sven. And Jonathan’s close relationship with his animal friend opens children up to bestiality at a young age…right???

Swanson: Man, how many children are taken into these things and how many Christians are taking their kids off to see the movie Frozen, produced by an organization that is probably one of the most pro-homosexual organizations in the country? You wonder sometimes, I’m not a tinfoil hat conspiratorialist, but you wonder sometimes if maybe there’s something very evil happening here. If I was the Devil, what would I do to really foul up an entire social system and do something really, really, really evil to 5- and 6- and 7-year-olds in Christian families around America?

Vaughn: I would make a movie.

If this isn’t enough insanity for you, you might want to check out some of the other things that Swanson and Vaughn said about the children’s movie Frozen at Right Wing Watch’s post Swanson: Disney’s ‘Frozen’ Is A Satanic Push To Turn Kids Gay.

  1. What is making women turn into lesbians is the tradition of men dominating and oppressing women. It is simply more comfortable, more fun, less stressful to live with another woman.

Similarly for men, it is more comfortable to live with someone with similar interests, similar ideas of appropriate lifestyle, similar experiences.

Heterosexual couples historically followed a cultural norm to get hitched, stay together, and reproduce even though they would have preferred the easier lifestyle of living with a same sex person.

Today people should be able to live in the most comfortable relationships, without cultural restrictions. With that in mind we are likely to see heterosexual marriages become the minority.

    1. doglover – you could not be more wrong. If you follow the LGBT literature you are born that way. You are not oppressed into lesbianism. And it is not less stressful to live with another woman. The number of domestic incidents in homosexual couples is higher than you seem to think. If it were all hunky-dory, why would we already be having divorces between same-sex couples and paternity fights between same sex couples.
Statistically somewhere between 5-10% of the population is LGBT. With those statistics it is going to take something like the plague wiping out the heterosexual community for them to become the minority.

  2. This ignorance (of the radio host and pastor) is similar to non-christian(s), people of different faiths/religions, and/or atheists or agnostics making fun of Christianity and/or misinterpreting the Bible, without first reading AND studying the Bible.

  3. I’ve seen the movie. It was wonderful. There was one particular line that set it apart from basically any fairy tale from Hans Christian Anderson: “You can’t marry a man you just met.” One of the themes involved testing character and overcoming fear.

This reminds me of when people claimed Harry Potter was a subversive plot without reading it.

Sure, moviemakers insert political agendas into films all the time. But the messages in this one were entirely positive for kids.

  4. Satan is losing my respect. Once promised as the omnipotent incarnate of evil, he has allowed himself to be reduced to selling out to Disney and only given corporate table scraps to feed his deviant or vulnerable audiences. I have always expected more.

Sadly for him, it seems he is on his way to suffer the same fall from fame that other, promising stars have endured. Maybe he could find a kindred spirit in the afterlife such as Gary Coleman who suffered an equal downfall.

    1. Satan had a big role in Fantasia, Disney’s first full-length animated movie. I still remember his image.

  5. The first animation film by a woman….. Charlton has it right…. Hmmmm

  6. Carlton – since I have no other way to contact you, I am going to recommend a book to you, based on our discussions. Escape from Camp 14 by Blaine Harden. I am reading it for my non-fiction reading club.

  7. Darren Smith

    *****

He’s an aluminum foil hat conspiratorialist.

    😉

  8. Amazing how many “leaders” hear voices that normal people cannot hear.

I suggest that those “leaders” wear a tinfoil hat so that we can recognize them at a distance.

  9. I have not seen the movie yet and am set to see it with the granddaughter of a friend and the friend. However, without taking sides on this issue, we do know that Obama administration has pushed TV shows to push Obamacare and last week Bones was pushing Medical Marijuana. Certain directors try to push their politics into the film to make a larger message. Film is a very powerful medium, children are a very vulnerable audience. Don’t dismiss this too early.

  10. Whoa! At least it’s not a movie that’s a ‘Satanic’ push to turn kids Christian….. That would actually be harmful!

  11. This was a great flick. Religious and non religious people are always saying idiotic things about movies. Ignoring them is the best way to handle it. Some folks just don’t know how to ignore. It is a powerful tool that takes self esteem, self discipline and patience.
