Discredited NAACP Official Once Sued Howard University Over Reverse Discrimination

620We previously discussed the bizarre case of Rachel Dolezal, 37, the head of an NAACP chapter accused of lying by her own mother. Worse yet, some have suggested that Rachel Dolezal, who is the head of the NAACP’s chapter in Spokane, planted hate mail at her office. Now it appears that Dolezal once sued Howard University over discriminating against her for being white — before she claimed she was black. If true, it makes a truly bizarre story all the more bizarre.

Dolezal reportedly sued Howard for discrimination in 2002 when she graduated from the historically black college with a Master of Fine Arts degree. She was then known as Rachel Moore and sued Howard and Professor Alfred Smith, chairman of Howard’s Department of Art. The lawsuit is quoted as alleging “discrimination based on race, pregnancy, family responsibilities and gender.” She alleged that she was denied a teaching assistant post and that her application was rejected for a post-graduate instructorship in favor of African-American students. The lawsuit was dismissed by Judge Zoe Bush and Bush’s decision was upheld by the D.C. Court of Appeals. In addition to an order forcing her to pay a “Bill of Costs” of $2,728.50, she was ordered to pay the university nearly $1,000.00 in connection with an “obstructive and vexatious” court filing.

The unfolding background reveals a tragic obsession (and transformation) with race. That obsession would lead to the alleged falsification of information on government forms. It is also unclear whether this controversy will produce criminal charges.

  1. Here is a link to the sex story, which Drudge provided:

And I really, really hate to say this, because she is one of my kind, but she is far from being the only totally delusional woman out there. Out of our gender, I estimate about 85% of us, or more, are just plain clinically nuts and have problems with “reality” on some level. Which is one reason why our Western Culture is going downhill, because there are sooo many nuts raising children, without the influence of a father. I wonder if it was like this before birth control pills and stuff??? Because steroids and stuff can make people nuts.

  2. Now I got music tune in head, The Doors “People Are Strange”…..Help!

  3. Paul

It could be true. Have you seen the movie, ‘Being John Malkovich’?

    1. issac – I saw Being John Malkovich’ when it first came out. Thought Malkovich showed a great sense of humor about himself. 😉

  4. My first wife was and remains Norwegian, blue eyes, blond hair, and fair complexion. We lived on the Mediterranean for a number of years before she had enough and went back up North. One thing I knew before hand was that the Vikings, whether they be from Sweden, Norway, or Denmark pretty much roamed at will from North of the Arctic Circle through the Mediterranean and up the rivers back into Scandinavia. The Norse are the source of French, British, Russian, and many other Royal Houses in Europe. Rollo the Walker was the grandfather or great grandfather of William the Conqueror. A Byzantine princess, I believe her name was Irene, linked that empire to the Norse when she married a Norse king. That was the beginning of the stabilization of the area that became Russia.

When I spent time in Corsica I noticed many women with the typical large almond shaped eyes but blue. Their hair might be lighter brown rather than the typical dark brown or black. I was told that in Sicily and other islands that the Norse had visited and their descendants as crusaders had occupied, there were many blond haired, blue eyed, people. They all had a few drops of Viking. It is just as likely that Arabs and other peoples from these areas once plundered by the Vikings have a drop or two of blood that originated further South in Africa, travelled who knows where, then ended up North of the Arctic Circle. We can all claim whatever bloodline we want and it just might have some validity. However it don’t mean a pinch of coon sh*t.

  5. This also brings to mind an old Jonathan Winters routine. In real life he took time off in places where others were taking time off, whether they liked it or not. In one routine he commented on the people he met and their conversations. “Hi, how are you today?” “I’m a Robin Red Breast.” “Oh, that’s too bad.” “OK, then I’ll be a Blue Jay.” “That’s much better.”

Perhaps hers is just a stop on the road of egocentricity to a better place.

  6. Nick – Donald Trump for US president and Dolezal as VP a winning ticket? Lots of media coverage on that.
Be better than watching Donald’s NBC Apprenticeship “you’re fired” series. Ratings go through the roof. Make lots of money on my idea too.

  7. @Pogo: Trans-racial is a more legitimate concept than trans-gender. Bruce Jenner thinks if he cuts off his d*** he can be a woman. Well no, he can’t. He’s just a mutilated drag queen. But he gets congrats from the White House for his “courage.” Race, on the other hand, is primarily a social construct. There is some biological basis to it, for sure, but no legal definition. The closest we ever got to that were the old Southern race laws codifying the “one drop rule”, where if a person had ANY African heritage, no matter how small or how remote, he was black. Since a person 99% white and 1% black was considered black, that shows that “race” was far more about culture than biology. And while we no longer have a codified “one drop rule,” it does seem that the concept lives on socially and culturally in the U.S. Which explains why this story has so many people with their panties in a twist. If Rachel had claimed to be part Asian or Hispanic, nobody would care. There are more people claiming to be part Cherokee than is demographically possible, but their claims don’t make the news. If she had declared herself a man trapped in a woman’s body, Obama and the media would applaud her. But there is something about a white woman wanting to be black that has caused a firestorm of outrage, condemnation and ridicule. It seems she crossed the ultimate taboo. Which I find kind of cool. I admit I’m not that strong. If I were the subject of such virulent hatred I would be hiding in a cave. But she has gone on t.v. and stood her ground, proclaiming that she is going to identify herself on her own terms, regardless of the outpouring of hatred and ridicule. Now THAT, Mr. President, is courage.

  8. Harry, After this dumb blonde’s 15 minutes of fame expires, I could see her doing porn. She is addicted to victimhood, and now to “fame.”

  9. So we have a transgender Republican and a white woman that believes she deserves to be recognized as black. Where do liberals take this? If they whole-heartily embrace Jenner then they have to accept the fact LGBT’ism is not linked to party identity but simply sexual identity. If they embrace Dolezal then the race divide takes on a completely different “complexion”. Race becomes less about color and more about cultural identity for which anyone can claim anything. If they reject either of these two people then they expose themselves as a shallow political rather than cultural ideology linked to the Democrat party. This by no means makes the establishment Republic party any less shallow. It might open up the lines of communication to where we can meaningfully debate just how Progressive R’s and D’ have been manipulating the American people to the benefit of the political class and the administrative state.

  10. she does supplement her income by doing hair.

Well, she IS also a pretty good make up artist. Maybe she should go to Hollywood and get another career.

“Criminal charges for falsification of government forms? What law did she break? She wrote that she was white, black & Native American on an application for a volunteer position. Is ‘race’ defined by law? Is there a government roll of every eligible black person? Perhaps the next Federal Census will come with a swab and a test tube so the government can test our DNA to make sure we check the correct box for ethnicity.”

“One of the major discoveries of the Human Genome study involving DNA was that all human beings are 99.9% alike. They discovered that since all humans belong to one race that discerning a race from DNA was not possible:

‘DNA studies do not indicate that separate classifiable subspecies (races) exist within modern humans. While different genes for physical traits such as skin and hair color can be identified between individuals, no consistent patterns of genes across the human genome exist to distinguish one race from another. There also is no genetic basis for divisions of human ethnicity. [emphasis added]

” ‘People who have lived in the same geographic region for many generations may have some alleles in common, but no allele will be found in all members of one population and in no members of any other.’ ”

    1. Ken Rogers –

We know through scientific studies on DNA that all human beings are 99.9% alike. If we were to take away the skin complexion, hair texture, the eye’s shape, we would all look the same.

Without question this is one of the most idiotic sentences ever written. All of the things he wants taken away are how we identify each other. What a moron.

  12. Tongue in cheek she might even exclaim, at the end of a busy day of suffering, that her dogs are barking.

  13. There’s a book coming. This reminds me of a book a white guy wrote in the sixties, ‘Black Like Me’. The guy did his hair up and took some sort of skin darkening agent and then caught a Greyhound to the South. Now there is a story. This is more about attention. She may be psychologically diddled but it’s got nothing to do with race. If she had experienced life in a Chinatown then she would be wearing an elastic band around her eyes and straightening her dyed black hair. Who knows she might even bind her feet to really ‘feel’ it.

  14. Question:
When did a permanent and color become a “natural” look and when did changing your hair from blonde straight hair to a “fro” become a “black experience”?

About the same time as chopping off your dick, getting fake breasts, plastic surgery to feminize your face and wearing tons of tacky make up makes you a woman.

Both are delusional and mental illnesses.

  15. Histrionic Personality Traits….strong traits, maybe worse…BPD maybe blended with some possible sociopathy…

  16. Nick- Doleazl is getting starry eyed over Jenner? Love is in the air? But what if Jenner wants to make sex tapes too? Just askin…….

    1. Harry – I don’t care if they pay me, I am not watching sex tapes of either of them.

  17. This borderline personality has all kinds of drama. She claims her husband would rape her and made her have sex tapes. She now claims she is bisexual and was moved by Bruce Jenner’s story. She gets off on being a victim, this is the US culture created by the victimhood loving ilk. This woman is shining a bright light on what the liberal agenda is all about. She is the gift that keeps on giving.

    1. Nick – there are now some claims that she plagiarized her art work.

  18. The law says you can claim whatever race you want. It doesn’t say that others will not laugh at you.
