We have yet another horrific account of a primitive practice leading to the murder of an innocent person. The latest scandal occurred in Nepal Kodai Harijan, a father, admitted that he lured a poor child with a pack of biscuits and 49 cents. He then murdered the 10-year-old child on the alleged advice of a shaman who told him that the death would heal his ailing son.
Jivian Kohar, 10, was found playing with friends in the village and promised the food and money. He was then taken to a temple on the outskirts of the village where the father and other men performed a religious ritual. He was then taken to a field nearby where three people held him down as another slit his throat. His head was almost completely cut off when police found his body.
The village is the home of so called “untouchables” in Nepal — the lowest paid and most abusive sect in the culture. It is also the least educated.
As the father of four, I can see wanting to do anything for one of my children. However, the idea of sacrificing an innocent body to help my son is unthinkable. Yet a group of men followed the advice of this shaman.

A woman most often has bleeding, goes to the ER or the docs office, had an ultrasound that shows no beating heart, is told to go home and wait for the contents to be expelled. MOST. Times this happens on the toilet. If the pregnancy is advanced beyond a certain stage in which a beating heart us seen the miscarry in woman may be put on bed rest and the pregnancy may continue. You will note DRASTIC inconsistencies between the use of “fetus” in the 7:49p fetus hater comment today, and a comment made on 3/29/15 @ 8:33p. There, the abortion lover stated, “Do you know what happens to a FETUS and pregnancy tissue w/ a miscarriage @ home? It usually gets flushed down the toilet. Should a woman all of a sudden feel like she should look for a tiny FETUS in the toilet bowl and give it a “proper” burial?

Sorry Spinelli, I mentioned most miscarriages happen on the toilet and often the embryos get flushed. No woman is going to sift through the tissue and blood in the toilet bowl to rescue the embryo. Miscarriages of pregnancies at a later date when the embryo becomes a fetus usually happens in the ER. Learn the correct terminology, or you sound stupid. Also, pro choice people are not “abortion lovers”, such over the top rhetoric makes one appear buffoonish. It’s a woman right by law of the land to the privacy and autonomy over their own bodies as long as the fetus is NOT viable, IMO.

It’s not that people take the edited videos at face value. It’s that they are disturbing, and raise serious questions. We just want those questions answered, which does not make me a buffoon.

It’s 2 hours 42 minutes. How much longer could there lunch have been? As you know, I cannot watch videos online, especially one that long, but unless there’s a part that was edited out saying, “And by the way everything I just saw was kidding” then PP has some issues to deal with.
Again, you objected to the edited videos, and now you’re objecting to the 2 hour 42 minute videos. What’s the problem?
A separate issue is whether the recordings themselves were legal. Did they take place in CA?
If it was illegal for them to record the lunch, then that does not absolve PP of wrong doing. No matter what, the videos are out there now.
