Private Company Used By Clinton Reportedly Kept Its Servers In Bathroom Closet Of Loft Apartment

170px-Msc2011_dett-clinton_0298The growing scandal surrounding Hillary Clinton’s use of an unsecured server now involves a little known Denver company that she used for the system. Clinton has repeatedly dismissed concerns about her decision not to use the secure State Department system by saying that she had her own security team and that the server was always protected. Now there is a media report that Clinton actually used a small company with Democratic party ties in Denver which reportedly kept its server in a bathroom closet in a loft apartment. The report raises again questions of the security used for the system while there are also questions being raised about Clinton lawyers lacking clearances to deal with possibly classified material in deleting thousands of messages and holding copies of messages. There has not been a response printed to the story thus far and the position of the Clinton campaign (including challenging the accuracy of the story) is unknown at this time.

The company Platte River Networks is described as a “mom and pop” operation by former employees.

Founded in 2002 by entrepreneurs Treve Suazo, Brent Allshouse and Tom Welch, Platte River Networks operated out of a 1,858 square feet loft apartment in downtown Denver until earlier year. The building hardly sounds secure from foreign intelligence penetration.

These concerns arise with the disclosure of hundreds of emails flagged as possibly classified, including at least two at one of the highest levels.

  1. Asked if she or her administrators had tried to wipe the server clean, Hillary responded “What, like with a cloth or something?”

Her lame attempts to deflect (Or is she really that ignorant?) is an affront to anyone with even a passing concern for this country’s security. Her hubris will be her downfall.

    1. Hey Hillary, did you wipe the server clean?

You mean like an intern, or something?

  2. Fogdog is a Clintonista. Don’t engage him/her. Just realize that his goal is as Consort said earlier, to “fall in line.” She needs all the Obama cultists to vote for her if she is to win.

When I coach Little League if you had a game and the other team was short players, you would give them a couple of your players so you could get the game in. Maybe the Republicans should spot the Dems a couple candidates under 70 years old.

    1. Nick

I never played baseball but I can see that Hillary’s looking for an easy out.

She’s more of a softball player anyway, from what I hear.

  3. Typical lawyer obsessive compulsive complex. Where’s the beef? Remember Clara Pellar?

There were no issues arising from the Clinton emails or server use. Cut the hysteria and trying to create problems (or crimes) and deal with the one’s that exist. What a waste of law enforcement resources and media coverage of national issues during an important campaign! How about Wall Street crimes, white collar crime and war crimes? How about the crime cartels and the thugs who are selling poisons in the U.S.?

    Dogs don’t chase parked cars.

    1. Did anyone else dig Hillary in her orange jumpsuit? She looks real good in it but she still would need a yellow vest for picking up trash on the side of the road.

  4. I wonder how many servers these people were running out of that bathroom?

  5. If you didn’t have a problem with Colin Powell using a private email, what’s your problem with Hilary using one? I’ve never heard one complaint about the republican using one. You should all stfu.

  6. Readers: Please examine this sentence which ends the article we are on here.
“These concerns arise with the disclosure of hundreds of emails flagged as possibly classified, including at least two at one of the highest levels.”

    “disclosure”? By whom?
“hundreds of emails” ? Disclosed to who? How would we know there are hundreds?
“flagged”? What does that mean? Was there a sentence or handwritten scribble not printed, or perhaps an American flag stuck on some piece of paper?
“possibly classified”? That is a good one. What could that mean? Hillary bitching about the dirty toilets in some embassy again? Classified because it might offend the dirty Russians who have the filthy toilet?

“two at one of the highest levels” Oh, that is a good one. What are the levels? Top Secret? Not so top secret? Email from Lamberts about a throwed roll that hit a traveling ambassador in the eye when he was in Sikeston, MO?

The whole store today is one of “throwed rolls”.

Also, as a former plumber in a prior life as a human I used to clear out bathrooms for use as other rooms for other endeavors. Or, I would convert a clothes closet over to a hot water tank room or a single toilet room. Perhaps some of the emails got printed out onto toilet paper and are on a roll in the toilet room in that building of which the article might be speaking. It would be highly classified to have a photo of Putin on toilet paper so that Hillary can wipe her rear end and denigrate Putin by so doing.

Did any of you bloggers know that the game between Russia and Crimea in soccer was fixed and that the people in the embassy got wind of it and bet on the winner with a bookee and made some money and that they learned of the fix by overhearing the information at a dinner party at the Russian Embassy in Berlin? The info got sent by a private email. Then when it was discussed later someone told Hillary about it in an email. Someone also told Hillary about the rumors circulating in London regarding Bill Clinton and some sexual cigar scandal. He had been at a Sandels Resort on holiday. You folks know how words can get bandied about. The emails can get “flagged” as possibly classified. I would classify some as about as relevant as used toilet paper.

Thanks for listening to the thoughts of a mere dog. I guess you humans will clear all this up and flag the next election in favor of The Donald. Or perhaps that guy who sells life insurance on television. Or perhaps Al Gore or Walter Mitty.

  7. That’s the server. But what kind of ISP was this Denver company using with router/firewall hookup configuration?
Could have been a cheap DSL connection. Maybe with a cheap buggy, hackable WIFI router. Shared with other WIFI hotspots.

  8. She showed contempt for good government by doing all of this.

And now her unbelievable explanations and jokes show contempt for the people she is asking to vote for her.

Those who vote for her should never again complain about separate rules for the powerful.

  9. That server has been passed around more than Monica Lewinsky’s, whatever.

  10. ” Now there is a media report that Clinton actually used a small company with Democratic party ties in Denver which reportedly kept its server in a bathroom closet in a loft apartment. ”

So …. this is what they mean when they talk about small government and privatization? Who knew?!

  11. Ash said: “I’ve never voted anything other than Dem. If she wins the primary there is little chance I can vote for her.”

If she is the Democratic candidate for president, I will sit out the election.

-JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Citigroup have been among her top political donors.

-“If you have been outraged by the Obama administration’s abysmal record on civil liberties – from its continuation of NSA spying, rampant secrecy and overzealous prosecution of whistleblowers – and would like to see a change in the post 9/11 status quo, then Hillary Clinton is the last candidate you should expect change from. In the Senate, she voted for the Patriot Act as well as its subsequent reauthorization. In an appearance in April 2014 at the University of Connecticut, she defended NSA surveillance and chastised whistleblower Edward Snowden, accusing him of supporting terrorism.”

She comes across as untouchable. Perhaps so. But I hope not.

  12. Did the Russians hack the Denver loft server like they did the St Dept servers? Maybe the St Dept should turn over their servers to the Denver mom & pop group…. for security purposes.

  13. As an aside to the clintonian debacle, how much more derelict can an IT guy be than putting a server in a bathroom? That’s just plain idiotic given the steam, moisture and heat issues. And Hillary Clinton’s operators claim that it was stored securely by this company. This company probably thought it could be secured by putting a padlock on the back of the case and all would be fine.

In an earlier comment I made about this server, I was almost half joking, but it turned out to be accurate and embarrassing (for the Clintons).

“3) Who is responsible for maintaining the Clinton server? Was it a State Department employee or Lenny down at Fred’s Fix-it shop? I don’t see Hillary or Bill Clinton having the expertise to admin a mail server.”

  14. It would be interesting to know what, if any, security clearances this private company received and from whom, thus granting permission to store said classified data…

  15. When the first news of her private email server came out, her use of private email servers was defended by her supporters as being even more secure than States’ because State’s tech was so notoriously poor!

And we all were expected to believe that.

I’ve never voted anything other than Dem. If she wins the primary there is little chance I can vote for her.

Damaged goods all her own making.
