It is common to get advice like “never look a polar bear in the eye.” The same appears to be true with Dayton police officers. Driver John Felton has posted a video of a pull over by a police officer who told him that he was pulled over because he “made direct eye contact” with him while driving by.
The officer remains polite in the video tape below but he admits near the end that he followed the driver (who is clearly upset) “Because you made direct eye contact with me and held onto it when I was passing you.”
The officer handed John Felton a warning for a traffic signal violation. Felton had to sit on the roadside after being following by the officer for some time.
The city arranged for Felton to have a conversation with the officer, facilitated by the Dayton Mediation Center. Felton, who has retained a lawyer, says that he was stopped because of his Michigan plates even though he grew up in the area.
The traffic violation of not signaling more than 100 feet before making a turn is something that most drivers have done repeatedly.
When Felton objected to the concept of suspicious eye contact, the officer said “I am not going to argue about it anymore with you, sir. I’ll just scan your license and give you a citation for the violation, and you could take it to court.”

When a black man is 21 times more likely to be arrested for same crime as a white man, when a black man is 8 times more likely to be killed by the cops than a white man, when crack cocaine dealing is punished 3 times more severely than cocaine, and in light of the looooong history of jailing blacks on trumped up charges, and the legalization of stop and search in New York that targeted more blacks than anyone else, to throw out the more blacks in prison stat is to be incredibly and selectively blind and dishonest.
It must say something that every complaint about a cop abusing his authority ends up an indictment of blackness in America. How did we get to the debate about black on black crime?

The Black Lives Matter is just another mantra based on lies and not facts and I refuse to let people get away with spreading the lies.
The reason there are more blacks in prisons is because they commit more crimes. (FBI Stats) I agree that sentences are different but not because their black or white, but because the judges who do not follow sentence guidelines when they sentence offenders. Or jury’s who go light on murderers like the utterly contemptible Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who should be fried in a chair.
A judge in Connecticut gave a child rapist 6 months in jail. He didn’t follow sentencing guidelines, but SCOTUS struck down U.S. v. Booker, which would have essentially forced federal judges to impose stricter sentencing guidelines on themselves, set by the commission. The issue is with judges and their activist rulings and that includes SCOTUS, who make laws instead of defining them.

Regarding rate of arrests and crime per race, would you ignore all other factors, especially the ones showing blacks arrested at a rate 10 higher than other races?
How many blacks are in prison for drug related offenses? well, they are 6 times likelier to be arrested than whites for same drug crimes!

Stop blaming cops for murdering blacks, when statistics show otherwise. Cops kill more whites than blacks all day long.
