The Face Of Evil: Tashfeen Malik Finally Shown In Photo

ht_tashfeen_malik_float_jc_151204_12x5_1600We finally have a face to go with the name of a murderer who would abandon her own baby and slaughter people, including some who had thrown her baby shower. It now appears that San Bernardino shooter Tashfeen Malik pledged allegiance to ISIS and left her baby in pursuit of paradise in return for her massacre of her husband’s co-workers. Malik and her husband, Syed Rizwan Farook, not only left their baby and family to face the aftermath of their despicable crime but killed people who had supported them both at and outside of work.

As we noted earlier today, it appear that Malik may have played a critical role in radicalizing her husband. She was born in Pakistan but moved to Saudi Arabia 25 years ago at the age of four. She traveled back and forth between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia — two hotbeds of Islamic extremism. She went to college in Pakistan at Bahuddin Zakri University in Multan where she was known as a top student.

UnknownWhat is clear is that she and her husband Farook embraced extreme Islamic views and turned their house into an IED workshop. Malik came to the U.S. on what a “fiancé” visa, which allows an American fiancé to petition for his or her partner’s temporary entry before marriage. She then joined her husband later in a bloodbath at his workplace. There appears to be few pictures of Malik. What is clear is that her daughter will eventually be told of how her parents chose their pursuit of paradise over her well-being.

The question now is what to do with the child. Police say that the apartment was full of weapons and pipe bombs while his mother lived there with their baby. It is hard to conclude that the grandmother is an appropriate custodian until we can determine her level of knowledge not only of the specific attack but the general planning for violent jihad.

What do you think?

  1. Everyone is so concerned with the baby, which, most probably, isn’t even the couple’s child. As I mentioned upthread, a simple google search of the name TAFSHEEN–you know, the purported name of the one pictured with a mole hanging off of its nose–reveals that the name is one given to Muslim boys. B-O-Y-S. Anyone out there with an particular knowledge on names given to Pakistani babies? Last time I checked, two men couldn’t reproduce and create a child together, even if one was wearing a hijab and shave part of his eyebrows. How about being more concerned about how this Devil spawn materialized? Exactly to whom does this baby belong? Very, very weird and, as usual, completely ignored on this thread. What do we get instead? Discussions about how the Constitution is somehow relevant to the story of Jihadi Bonnie and Clyde–which is actually more like a story of Clyde and Clyde.

  2. It is time that Americans opt out of the dumb religion thing. God? Yeah right. Jesus? Mohammed? BS all the way.
It is time that you all investigate The Eighth Day Dog Adventists. It is all you humans need. First the story and then the dog. God stepped out of the picture once he created Dog and put Dog on Earth to watch over and give guidance to humans.

It ain’t like going to church and having to keel down and then put money in the plate when it comes by.

  3. Pru, thank you for your compassionate response. We need more Americans like you.

  4. Unfortunately, Our legal system will place the child with a blood relative as the first choice. I doubt that the legal process can be circumvented in this case. The best solution would be to have the child raised as a Christian or a Jew or better yet an atheist. That would be justice and decency for all concerned and safer for society.

    1. Randyjet….I don’t know if there is any legal precedent for dealing with a custody situation like this.
You may be right in thinking that the close/closest family relatives will get custody, but this situation is so bizarre and complicated, it may go the other way.

  5. If they wash ashore or come in on a plane and wear a headress like that, then just shoot em. Ask questions later. Like questions to the airline as to why they flew them in and questions to TSA about why they let them in. Tent on head? Turban? Head scarf? Beanie on a weeny? Just say no. Shoot em on sight.

  6. jischinger:

Many Americans are aware of atrocities performed in their name over the last two centuries, especially in recent history: which is the case with every country in the history of the world, mind you.

Millions of people continue to protest the decisions of policymakers, so the notion that everyone is silent and consenting to each and every war is generalized garbage. And give an example of a country with a clean record. Let’s hear it.

Assume every troop is pulled, and assume zero bombs are dropped: Would that stop violence against Western targets? Or would religious nutbags continue to complain about “decency,” about blasphemy, about apostasy, about Sharia. A new reason for war would arise, and their barbaric efforts would continue seamlessly. Read the scripture: its mandates are clear and not very open to debate, especially the “revealed” policies toward infidels.

Blame these two religious lunatics for their actions, not the people who received arbitrary bullets. You seem to be the sort that would blame cartoonists for “offending” as well, because they “hurt” believers. As if a bruised sensibility justified an armed response.

But, do continue to rail against the totally-not-overstated “failure” of the American experiment — while freely exercising the opinion that the American experiment has failed.

  7. Too damn bad the kid was born here; we don’t need even more psychopath genes being introduced into this country’s gene pool.

  8. What I find amazing is that these kinds of things don’t happen more often especially, when you look at all the destruction the US, EU and Israel has laid waste to in the middle east.

People who condemn what took place here in the name of religion – if that were enough to be outraged about – is to look at what you’re supporting with your tax dollars.

    https://www.google.com/search?q=iraq+dead+children&biw=1280&bih=876&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi7pda21cTJAhUDWCYKHR3vCpsQ_AUIBigB

The fact that almost every person’s comment here seems unaware of what is happening in the broader areas of the middle east by the hands of western governments and corporations, supported by your tax dollars, are confounded expressing shock that some old women had no idea her adult son was making pipe bombs in the basement is more than ironic.

What is shocking is that the majority of the American people are completely unaware of the slaughter they have consented to on a daily bases since the creation of the Mujaheddin to attack the Russians in the 1980s, and then moved on to the never ending bombing of Iraq since Gulf War I and all for the profits of a few.

You can see all the evidence and pictures above. Seriously, you didn’t think that would come back to haunt you in a variety of ways? This is your history, this is what you bought into when you support a political system that is owned and run by corporate profits.

And now you are shocked, at what, you’re own ignorance?
    You should be.

Seems to me this is a story of two cultures colliding, and to a greater extent proves that the American Experiment is a failure and simply does not work. That in reality the US is largely a continuation of Corporate owned European hegemony and any other idea or social structure is more or less barbaric to the inhabitants.

If that’s what the majority wants, and the majority rules, then at least admit it and bar all free thinking outsiders from the country at large, and by all means leave all outsiders alone – to be clear stop bombing their countries and forcing them to live under your corporate rule. Be that shinning beacon on the hill, but don’t shove it down the rest of the world’s throat, that would be uncivilized and barbaric.

  9. It’s called commitment. There are plenty of tales of espionage where agents formed families in order to embed fully in a society. Having a kid could have been a tactic for these two all along. Because “how could anyone do this.” That’s exactly the sort of subtlety extremists would want.

So the welfare of the child from their point of view may have been irrelevant from the start, except maybe to raise an eventual American-born “soldier” for their cause (which is what these groups do incessantly).

Or maybe not. Investigators need time: but nowadays information has to be immediate, click click hashtag Like click breaking news a-l-e-r-t. Hence all the inaccuracy and empty speculation.

And TinEar, they probably purchased those clothes because the design is better suited for carrying ammo. And the black simply correlates with their rotten flag.

  10. I am sooooooo confused. They stayed with the mother, they dropped the baby off with the mother. Which is it? Whatever, I think the child should be brought up by strangers.

  11. The family attorney expressed himself so poorly that I looked him up on the CA Bar website to verify that he is actually licensed. It disclosed that he is a graduate of Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, one of CA’s many 4th tier law schools. As for the baby, I hope it is placed for adoption with a decent family. She doesn’t need to grow up with the twisted ideology of the Farooks, and learn how little her own mother cared about her. I’m also hoping that the FBI or Treasury Dept is tracing the money trail. I’m wondering if the couple received assistance from anyone in financing their weapons and bomb lab. And finally, what is it about these terrorists that they go out and purchase new “tactical clothing” as the media calls it…..presumably some type of military-style uniforms? Perhaps it is an overly practical consideration, but if I were going to engage in a gun battle with the Los Angeles police, I would just wear old jeans and a tattered sweatshirt. Why buy brand new clothes that will soon be rendered bloody and full of bullet holes? Unless these people consider themselves to be engaging in some type of theatrical production, I don’t see the need to buy new clothing to go on a murderous rampage.

  12. I hope this child is placed wherever she finds the most comfort and love. I’m not excluding anyone.

  13. And her first kid six months old. Hell illionios obama wanted a right to kill the baby its first day. Where is the line for motherhood if the baby itself is per the law as good as dead? Love begins when the law says so? She took the baby to grandma…..and that is pretty much exactly the plan for every american woman service member in the dod….so the beef is? Exactlty but for a few….who stay in that isn’ t a good plan. Hence most moms split, but now carter the throat homosexual thinks we should draft moms like her while condeming her for being a bad mom…..cus she didn’t fill out a 356 first i suppose.
