Report: Clinton Emails Contained Human Intelligence Classified At Highest Levels

Hillary_Clinton_Testimony_to_House_Select_Committee_on_BenghaziThere is another surprising report out today on the Clinton email scandal. Fox News Reporter Catherine Herridge is reporting that at least one of the emails on Hillary Clinton’s private server contained extremely sensitive information identified as “HCS-O,” the code used for reporting on human intelligence sources in ongoing operations. We previously discussed the disclosure that emails had been identified with Special Access Program information that even the Inspector General could not review without added clearances. In the meantime, some in the Clinton camp may be singing “Let It Snow, Let It Snow.” The State Department is citing the winter storm for yet another delay in releasing the remaining emails — possibly pushing their release past the first primary contests. Any break would likely be welcomed, particularly after a growing number of people including Former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates have said that Clinton’s decision to use an unsecure private email system probably resulted in the emails being hacked by various hostile powers.

According to a December 2013 policy document released by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence: This designation “is used to protect exceptionally fragile and unique IC (intelligence community) clandestine HUMINT operations and methods that are not intended for dissemination outside of the originating agency.” That is the type of information that is most shielded from interception due to the risk to human lives. Since Clinton was one of the top targets for intelligence services, the transmittal of such information over an insecure line would be grossly negligent and potentially criminal.

Fox is also reporting that the “spillage” of classified information is greater than the “several dozen” emails identified in the January 14 letter to Congress, which also acknowledged for the first time, that the Clinton emails contained intelligence beyond Top Secret, also known as Special Access Programs (SAPs).

Notably, even members of Congress on these committees have been told that they require additional clearances to review the emails in question.

For all of these reasons, one can certainly appreciate if the campaign this month changes its theme song:

  1. Ahem. Fox News is reporting? I think I’ll wait for a reliable news source, thank you very much. Remember when SCOTUS said that FOX was not bound to tell the truth? They really took it to heart.

So wonder on. Did she actually kill people with her carelessness? I wonder if Seal Team 6 deaths can be blamed on her. What about Benghazi, do we finally have something substantial there? I heard maybe her carelessness caused David Bowie’s cancer. And Glen Frey, didn’t he used to be with the Eagles? And isn’t the Eagle a symbol of America? Hillary also worked for America. You see the obvious link, right?

We know she has murdered at least a billion people, like personally with her own hands. Some by strangling them with her pantsuits. So the only obvious explanation here must be that everyone is terrified that she will kill them, not that rational people are waiting for an investigation to be completed. That would be ridiculous.

  2. The Jay/Washington letter of July 25, 1787 raised the presidential requirement from “citizen” to “natural born citizen” to place a “strong check” against foreign allegiances by the commander-in-chief.

    Dear Sir

I was this morning honored with your Excellency’s Favor of the 22d Inst: & immediately delivered the Letter it enclosed to Commodore Jones, who being detained by Business, did not go in the french Packet, which sailed Yesterday.

Permit me to hint, whether it would not be wise & seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government, and to declare expressly that the Command in chief of the american army shall not be given to, nor devolved on, any but a natural born Citizen.

Mrs Jay is obliged by your attention, and assures You of her perfect Esteem & Regard—with similar Sentiments the most cordial and sincere I remain Dear Sir Your faithful Friend & Servt

    John Jay

The ineligible Obama administration will go down in history…

  3. John asks an interesting question about who has what on whom. (You could almost get nostalgic over all the shenanigans of the Clintons’ Arkansas and White House years…) If Hillary and her supporters can prevent a criminal indictment, Debbie W-S, Reid, Pelosi, etc., may just push through to the election if they can get past the popularity of Bernie Sanders.

If Hillary becomes president, the American experiment in democratic republic will complete its ‘fundamental transformation’ to a post-constitutional, strong-arm oligarchy masquerading as benevolent socialism. It may make Obama the most successful president in history if you judge a president’s desires by outcome.

Many citizens would be intensely angry about it, but the vast majority have too much going on in their lives to notice. I base the accusation of strong-arm oligarchy largely on the behavior of the IRS to TEA orgs and the EPA’s expansion of powers, with a dash of the weird new federal program(s) of designating distant towns to be part of cities in order to take away funding and relocate people based on race, and never forget the always lovable abuse of RICO law. And there’s much, much more!! I’m sure I have forgotten quite a few more important items.

    Interesting times we live in.

  4. Trump will sell naming rights to all the bedrooms w/ the White House being renamed Trump House.

  5. Bruce, They got rich the Clinton way. Selling out the Secretary of State Office to the people who paid the Clinton Foundation. Simple!

  6. Aridog, Good to see you. The comment just before yours is indicative of the Clintonista mindset. The Clinton trolls are pernicious and mendacious, just like their leader. This scandal needs a good phrase. How about using one from the recent past. “Hillary lied and people died.”

  7. Why is Hillary not indicted and convicted? I worked in DOD for a couple decades and had I done 1/10th of what she has done this post would be from Fort Leavenworth. She has NO excuse, as I’ve repeated multiple times before…all senior (and I was only a senior Civil Servant) government employees who have need for confidential or higher information are provided the means to segregate it, usually by a second government computer or at a minimum a secure & encrypted VPN (Virtual Private Network). I had both the entire time I worked in DoD and would have been arrested if I’d mixed classified with personal information, even if a low level “confidential” let alone “Secret” or “Top Secret” with various need to know suffixes. You even had to be very careful with FOUO designations…e.g., not for dissemination, period. I presume none of this is taken seriously anymore. Doing covert work now is more dangerous from your own side than the enemy it seems.

  8. Robert Gates should know better than to speculate about emails being “hacked by various hostile powers.” That’s utter BS and a reckless comment from a political chameleon of the highest order!

If all of this stuff was so critical and sensitive from a classification standpoint, why hasn’t the security team or “intelligence community” up and down the chain at State, DoD, NSA, CIA and other agencies said something before now or at the time of transmittal? Was the Director of National Intelligence asleep at the wheel?

Why didn’t someone speak up and “just say no, the transmission of this information is prohibited over unsecure lines” and then create the correct and secure mode of transmission? Why did those alleged breaches occur and what process or protocol was in place to prevent unauthorized disclosure or to ensure encryption of classified data?

Was there any actual harm? Let’s hope not. Has publicity about this controversy compromised America’s security with “hostile powers?” Has any counterintelligence been initiated if that was the case?

If there is to be an investigation, then there should be an investigation that is broader than one agency head, i.e., the former Secretary of State. It will provide employment for lots of people and keep everyone scared. Another (perhaps cheaper) approach is to tighten up the protocol going forward, train personnel and monitor compliance.

By the way, who is leaking all this stuff to Fox? Loose lips sink ships. Investigate!

    1. FogdogSF – stuff is being reported in press releases on a regular basis. I don’t think anyone needs to leak at this point.

  9. Let the negotiations begin. What do Hillary, Bill and the Arkansas mafia have on Comey, Lynch and Obama?

How’d you like to see the look on the faces of James Carville, Paul Begala, Terry McAuliffe, Dee Dee Meyers, Vince Foster (no, scratch Foster) et al.?

It’s the Cosby/Clinton story: Good man/woman goes bad.

This cycling Karma stuff is weird. Is that a smile on Nixon’s face?

  10. Someone should ask her how they went from broke after leaving the White House to being $58 million in the black today

  11. There is at least several degrees of felonies here. Makes me wonder if Seal Team 6 deaths were a result of her emails.

  12. Hugh Beaumont

    “Pure misogyny.”

With a little “vast right-wing conspiracy” thrown in for good measure.

    LOL.

HG, gets the game ball. Say no more.

  13. All speculation. Members of Congress have given away a lot more secrets in press conferences and no one really cares.

  14. Spooky Sht, this email nonesense is.
The hits keep coming, and each one knocks down Hilary a few notches.
They say she is the coronated one, but that will only hold to a point, if her past indiscretions add up enough and come to haunt her, I don’t see how she can get the nomination.
Now the emails sharing she has done, very likely may have killed someone in a HUMINT compromise.
Double agents are not suffered nicely.
