Before letting them out, firefighter Tony Pisciotta memorialized the moment and posted it on the fire department’s website.

The police department later posted the pic on their Facebook page with the caption, “Well, that was embarrassing.”

  1. Gotta laugh, because the alternative is to hyperventilate because you’re stuck in an elevator.

Firemen and police like to rib each other in their little rivalry, but they always are there in an emergency. Thankful for first responders – fire, police, and medical. 🙂

  2. Darren keeps a few extra buckets of sand hanging around just in case… Ya know, the ones with the rounded bottoms that need to be on hooks.

    😉

  3. Darren, I hope that you never experience your house going up in flames. But if by chance it should ever happen to you, when the firemen come to rescue you and your family, I have a feeling that your attitude about the value of firemen will change instantly.

  4. Must be a slow day on law issues. We need a topic about the various Innocence Projects around the country and how they are set up and staffed. Cara?

  5. Yeah laugh it up boys. Now go back to the station and spend the rest of the day eating chips and watching your soap operas like you usually do. 🙂

    1. Darren – I think because of the inclusion policies they switched from soap operas to telenovelas.

    1. Malcolm – I think the elevator malfunctioned. I don’t think they would stop in the middle of a fire to take pictures. 😉

  6. That is  funny — thanks !
