Orlando Killer Identified As Muslim Extremist Who Pledged Allegiance To ISIS

352EF38500000578-3637414-image-a-131_1465749094436As the country mourns the massacre in Orlando, the police have identified the murderer as Omar Mateen, 29, from Port St. Lucie in Florida. He was born to Afghan parents who came to this country in the 1980s. He is responsible for the largest massacre of people in U.S. history after killed at least 50 people at a gay nightclub called Pulse in Orlando. Mateen reportedly called 911 shortly before the shooting and swore allegiance to the leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Mateen shows the twisted religious training of ISIS supporters, who believe that God supports their burning 19 girls alive when they refuse to be sex slaves or, in this case, massacring innocent people at a nightclub. They are told that God celebrates such atrocities as fulfillment of Islamic values.

At least 50 people were killed and 53 others were injured in the shooting.

352EA01300000578-3637414-image-a-124_1465746334177Mateen’s father, Mir Seddique, told NBC News his son became angry when he saw two men kissing in Miami several months ago. So Mateen sees two men kissing and months later massacres dozens? I must confess to be a tad skeptical that there was no other influence. Mir Seddique is quoted as saying “This has nothing to do with religion.” However, his allegiance to ISIS and deep anger with homosexuals undermine that view.   Indeed, he appears to be a follower of a radical Islamic cleric and ex-con.

The family is clearly traumatized and issued a statement that “We are saying we are apologizing for the whole incident. We weren’t aware of any action he is taking. We are in shock like the whole country.”  However, the Washington Post reports that the father is an outspoken supporter of the Afghan Taliban.

ABC News reported that Mateen was divorced in 2011 and was accused of a history of spousal abuse. His wife told the Washington Post that she met him online eight years ago and that was “was not a stable person.” She said that small things like not doing the laundry would result in beatings. Mateen had two firearms licenses, a security officer license and a statewide firearms license. He had worked for the security firm G4S since 2007.

His history would suggest another disturbed and violent individual drawn to ISIS, which offers religious legitimation for such anger and savagery. In 2013, Sheikh Farrokh Sekaleshfar spoke at the Husseini Islamic Center in the Orlando suburb of Sanford, Florida, and called for death to homosexuals. He is shown in the video below as saying “Death is the sentence. We know there’s nothing to be embarrassed about this, death is the sentence.”

We all know that you are a devout Muslim. That is not necessarily a bad thing. One can agree or disagree with aging pedophiles riding horses to heaven etc. However, the terrorism du jour is Islam. And, there is a reason for that. Islam is an absolute statement. ‘Only one god’ etc…

One doesn’t have to memorize the koran to understand that this religion is a portal for all the confused to allow themselves to be organized by some mumbo jumbo. This is no different than extreme christianity or any other fairy tale oriented beliefs.

The first step is to subjugate the spiritual to the rational. There is no, absolutely no, future in a world where ‘this is the answer and this is the guy, and this is this and that is that, regardless.’ Life and mankind is a work in progress. Religion is an anchor. It provides stability in the unstable but doesn’t allow mankind to evolve. If there is a god, regardless of the bs, it would want mankind to create itself, not be created as some simple minded believe.

  2. Sobering Conundrums

Free people are not equal. Equal people are not free. (Think this one over and over and it makes sense!)

“A gun is like a parachute. If you need one, and don’t have one, you’ll probably never need one again.”

The definition of the word Conundrum is: something that is puzzling or confusing.

Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America :

    1. America is capitalist and greedy – yet half of the population is subsidized.

    2. Half of the population is subsidized – yet they think they are victims.

    3. They think they are victims – yet their representatives run the government.

    4. Their representatives run the government – yet the poor keep getting poorer.

    5. The poor keep getting poorer – yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.

    6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about – yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

Think about it! And that, my friends, pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st Century.
Makes you wonder who is doing the math.

These three, short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our government for the past 7 + years and cultural environment it has created:

    1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works. And here’s another one worth considering.

    2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. But we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money! What’s interesting is the first group “worked for” their money, but the second did not! Think about it…..and last but not least:

    3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our Army, Navy, Air Force & Coast Guard to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping any of the payments or benefits to illegal aliens.

Am I the only one missing something?

“If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rule of fools” – Plato

  3. Wounded Knee was not a massacre. 150 Indians were killed, 41 cavalry were killed. An Indian fired the first shot, after that no one is sure who shot next. The cavalry outmanned and outgunned the Indians.

  4. The greatest associates of these broken people are those that attempt to label them, categorize them, identify them, etc. The mutt was broken, insane, as are many others. Timothy McVeigh comes to mind. This scum was broken, insane, and simply attached himself to a ’cause’. Any more and we have Trump.

There is no one simple answer except for simpletons. This is a situation that has been with us since the beginning. Some people think they have the answer and will do anything to prove they are right. It is called insanity. Otherwise how could 7+ billion others be right?

  5. And based on that logic, based on the NYPD tshirts, his obsession with being a NYPD cop…I blame the NYPD for radicalizing him.

Finally, let me state very clearly that I doubt the official narrative of one man shooting so many people by himself. Some witnesses report several shooters. Just as we have a CBS interviewed witness claiming there were 3 large built men at the san bernardino site, not a 100 pound woman who recently gave birth to a child.
We all knew there were attacks to come, for whatever is needed to strip us of our rights and turn us against one another required it. It came almost to order.

    1. Po….
If the New York PD encourage the Orlando shooter to go on his murderous rampage, then yes, there would be a problem with that organization.
You’re connecting dots that aren’t even there.

  6. so phillyT which is it

shut down the 1st or 2nd amendment?
or both-since that seems obviously to be your deepest desire….

    1. Philly T.-I think it DOES matter who pulls the trigger.
One old canard that inevitably surfaces on the wake of Islamic terrorist attacks is “well, Christian extremist are just as bad”.
Dylann Roof, the shooter of the Black church goers, was Lutheran, I think.
What international Lutheran terrorist organization advocates murdering Blacks?
Or national Lutheran group, or regional, or local Lutheran body that encourages racially motivated murder?
It’s not “all the same thing”.

  7. If you dont like guns, feel free to move out of the country already. Move to your utopia of Sweden

  8. ….just maybe….we need to be more concerned about radical Islamic fundamentalism.

More toddlers have killed people in the US than have islamic terrorists.
Time we start profiling toddlers and interning them.

Finally, there have been about 353 acts of terror last year in the US, of those, 3 were islamically related.
    That makes my case.
Statistically, all of us are more likely to be shot by cops than killed by islamic terrorists.
    That too makes my case.

It is usually the case when a person swears loyalty to an Islamic terrorist organization, then commits a terrorist act, that he was motivated by religious extremism. Arguing that ISIS is a secular organization would be absurd.
    ————————————-
Darren, it is obvious that the Prof worked very hard to make the case that the dude was religiously motivated. My issue is his methodology of digging out something from nowhere (the video) to make that case.
And yes, we have the “official” narrative which says he was sworn to ISIS, (and here let us remember the san bernardino claim that the woman had sworn allegiance to ISIS only to find out it was not so) versus his father who said he was not religious.
so either we accept all the father’s claims, or we accept none, cherry picking through them doesn’t feel very honest. At least unless something else comes to challenge the claims he made.

  10. And more “poor unvetted immigrants” who subscribe to the same religion are headed to your community – courtesy of Obacala and Hilly. Thank you very much.

  11. Sorry tnash, but they are the same. When you have the homophobic violence loving christians tweeting that the gays “reaped what they sowed” and the islamic jihadists proclaiming their same love of violence, it almost doesn’t matter what crazy person pulls the trigger. A racist like Dylan Roof, a homophobic crazy person like this guy?

They all get their guns too easy, they all get egged on by the Pat Robertsons and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadis of the world. They are the same. One and the same.

  12. I have multiple firearms. And yet, I did not turn into a gangster, terrorist, or murderer.

I also have kitchen knives, but I haven’t killed anyone. Rolls of duct tape, and I have’t kidnapped anyone.

You don’t go disarm law abiding people when others break the law. That creates more victims.

  13. Does dead killer have a mom, dad, children? If so, the Klan or some group should go kill them. In the name of Gallah.

  14. So tragic. They arrested a terrorist today in CA with firearms and explosives just before the Gay Pride parade.

They hate gays and throw them off buildings. Kill girls. We have the entire LAPD turn out to protect the Gay Pride parade. Arrest and lock up those who abuse women and girls, and then we make them register as a sex offender.

I am so happy to live here and not where garbage like this is condoned.

And I would also like to add that the terrorist possessed a number of weapons that are illegal. Because, by definition, criminals do not follow the law. Otherwise, the whole part about murder being illegal should have prevented every murder.

If we’re going to keep having these terrorist attacks happen more often, like that beheading in Oklahoma, then we should harden up our soft targets, not make it more easy to be victims to terrorists. Otherwise, you’re just a sitting duck. What are you going to do, plead for your life? ISIS disarms those it conquers.

  15. Father supports the Taliban.
Thank the Democrats for bringing in people who hate America

  16. Philly T.- you wrote that:
“Finally, let’s forget about whether radical fundamentalist Christians or Muslims are worse. The FACT is that they are both the same.”
    I’d say that maybe
….just maybe….we need to be more concerned about radical Islamic fundamentalism.
When radical Christians fly planes into skyscapers, engage in mass shootings like San Bernadino or Orlando, kill and cripple thise at the Boston Marathon, etc., then you might have some basis for your “FACT” that “they are both the same”.
That is the most self-delusional “FACT” I’ve seen in a long time.

  17. LGBT Phoenix ~> “We want you to know, after this horrific attack, that we are officially endorsing Trump. Enough is enough.”

May God Bless their souls and may they rest in peace. No one deserves that and I’m thankful they are beginning to recognize that Islam is not our friend. 🙁

  18. Guns did not inspire this radical Islamic terrorist to murder, religion inspired him.
