Yesterday, the Justice Department reversed itself and released a full, unredacted transcript of the 911 call of Omar Mateen during his massacre in Orlando. The Justice Department redacted references despite objections from media and political leaders that the redactions were ridiculous. Nevertheless, Attorney General Loretta Lynch went on the Sunday shows and insisted that it was best for the public and the victims. It was a telling moment of how the government now begins with an assumption that it is better to limit what the public reads and knows. What was removed was references to “Islamic State” and ISIS leader “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.” How exactly do those references, according to Lynch, “revictimize” people? It was well known and widely reported that Mateen had referenced both ISIS and al-Baghdadi. Yet, the impulse of the Justice Department was to censor and control information that was already public.
Matinee says “I pledge allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi may God protect him [in Arabic], on behalf of the Islamic State.” In the earlier official version it read: “I pledge allegiance to [omitted] may God protect him [in Arabic], on behalf of [omitted].”
Now the Justice Department insists that it was the fault of the public in making a big deal over the omissions: “Unfortunately, the unreleased portions of the transcript that named the terrorist organizations and leaders have caused an unnecessary distraction from the hard work that the FBI and our law enforcement partners have been doing to investigate this heinous crime.”
An “unnecessary distraction”? Of course, it is always a bit distracting when the government by reflex withholds information from the public and then tells the public it is really for its own good.

Paul Craig Roberts summarizes the Orlando event very well:
“A few readers are still trying to help me to prove the official Orlando shooting story line. Unable to find videos of the massive presence of ambulances and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) that 50 dead people and 53 wounded people would require, readers are reduced to supplying me with telephone numbers of someone who might know something.
As I said in the beginning, I do not know what happened or why. What I see in Orlando is the same pattern as in the other events: no bodies, questionable shootings, crisis actors, an official story set at the moment of the event’s announcement, no EMTs, conflicting testimony, no investigation by media, just endless repetition of a set story.
We know that governments lie in order to serve their agendas. To mention only a few recent proven government lies: the Gulf of Tonkin North Vietnamese attack on a US Navy ship, Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction, Assad’s use of chemical weapons, Iranian nukes, Russian invasion of Ukraine. These lies are monstrous. They resulted in wars that killed thousands of US soldiers and killed, maimed, and displaced millions of Vietnamese and Muslims, some of whom are now overrunning Europe as refugees from Washington’s wars. It seems to me that a government that will lie on this scale will lie on smaller scales as well, such as Orlando, Boston, San Bernandino.
If I had to bet on what Orlando is about, I would place my bet on gun control. Sandy Hook also led to a big push for gun control. The victims being children was a plus for gun control, but apparently 20 was not a large enough number. The absence of wounded children did not raise any questions. Lanza’s kill ratio was 100 percent. The Orlando shooter’s ratio was just under 50 percent.
The Orlando shooting produced a reported 103 casualties. Moreover, the victims are not children in a school, but people having fun in a night club. In other words, everyone is threatened by guns in the hands of lone nuts, but not by guns in the hands of authorities—despite the fact that US police killed more Americans during 8 years of the Iraq war than the US lost soldiers in combat.
Some time ago I wrote that the Second Amendment was the only remaining provision in the Bill of Rights, which became part of the US Constitution in order to protect citizens from government. I made the point that the Second Amendment is inconsistent with a police state and that as Americans, Congress, and the legal community have accepted the police state, the Second Amendment would have to go, along with habeas corpus, due process, privacy, and all the rest.
I also noted how strange it is that progressives and the left-wing are on the side of the police state and want to disarm American citizens. The way the issue is now positioned, the “moral” element in the population demand gun control and only the immoral “gun nut” portion want to allow crazy people to continue mass slaughter.
For a while the administration was trying to spin this into being a mental health issue, prejudice against gays, and resulted from easy access to firearms, thus help with its gun control goals. It certainly does not help this goal when the main reason for the suspect’s attack was inspired by Islamic terrorism.
Plus, the administration seems to have a history of trying to avoid losing face with regard to terrorist acts committed on US soil or against US entities such as embassies, labeling such as workplace violence, mental health, spontaneous attack, etc. Now, when faced in the Orlando incident as being overwhelmingly evident of terrorism, it still finds itself grappling with the old messages of face and denial. So, it bungles over itself trying to recover and is failing.

Russia supports Assad. Assad is blocking a plan for the Qatar-Turkey pipeline via Saudi Arabia to Europe. Saudis are very likely financing and aiding ISIS. We are the hired muscle. It is all very surreal.

The USA is just one of its myriad and endless adversaries, which includes the rest of the world which is not Islamic.
Massive amounts of food were sent to Somalia in oder to assist the widespread famine on that country.
That famine was largely man-made, due to years of civil war.
When food does not reach it’s intended destination due to hinacking by warlords, diversion to the black market , etc. mass starvation will continue.
In case where armed U.N. convoys were successful delivering food, it may be that some recipients of the resented the presense of foreign troop in Somalia; most recognized that attempting to secure the food distribution network was preferable to to having the food hijacked by warlords, or having food jammed in warehouses, undeliverable in many cases due to the dangers of that mission.
An unarmed U.N. force would likely be at a serious disadvantage in reaching those starving in Somalia.
When armed conveys actually did get through, the starving Somalis were probably supportive of the efforts to feed them.
There is a pretty clear distinction between invasion/ conquest of a nation, and a humanitarian mission to get food to starving people.
That distinction should be clear to most people, but others may find it more expedient to label the mission as an assault on Islam.
Prior to the USA installing The Shaw to run Iran, Iran was run by a moderate government. But that moderate government was not friendly to US business interests. As per all or most prior world leaders who did not bow to US money interests, the USA replaced the moderate government with The Shaw.

If you want the “complete” information, you need to read many blogs, blog comments, and watch many YouTube videos posted by people around the world, and then draw your own conclusions. Unfortunately, nobody in the US government has the full true information on anything. If they have done what I advised above, they can draw their own conclusions and post that as the official narrative, but it will not be any more accurate than the conclusions you yourself can draw from reading and talking to people around the world.
I am hoping someone will leak the complete information to the public as it will be the only way we will get it.

Googling “UNITAF,SOMALIA” is a quick way to review the situation in Somalia in the 1990s.
If anybody is inclined to believe that the “U.S. invasion of Somalia” ( see 10:51 AM comment) somehow justifies acts of Islamic terrorism, they should look at the humanitarian Somalian mission Bush 41 undertook at the end of his presidency.
Mass starvation, largely facilitated by warlords as a method of controlling/ punishing the population, was the primary reason for that “invasion”.
Continued interference of food distribution by one warload lead to an attempted U.S. raid on the warload.
