Just two days before the election, FBI Director James Comey has announced that the new emails found on Huma Abedin’s computer does not change his earlier conclusion in July that there is no basis to criminally charge Hillary Clinton over her use of a private server, including emails containing classified information.
Comey wrote the letter below to Congress stating “Based on our review, we have not changed our conclusions that we expressed in July with respect to Sec Clinton.”
Clinton Director of Communications Jennifer Palmieri immediately declared that the scandal was over:
‘We have seen Director Comey’s latest letter to the Hill. We are glad to see that he has found, as we were confident that he would, that he has confirmed the conclusion that he reached in July, and we’re glad that this matter is resolved.”
The quick dismissal of the importance of the emails will likely fuel criticism over Comey’s October 28th letter to Congress on the continuation of the investigation. Most assumed that the new emails had to contain material that would warrant such a departure from the general policy of the Justice Department to avoid actions or statements that might influence an election. According to Comey, however, it only took a few days to determine that the emails were significant enough to warrant a criminal charge.

Most of the emails were dups. There is software that can very quickly determine if the email is a dup. Get up to speed people. Trump’s surrogates have already deleted their tweets that exposed their ignorance of how the review was done. Breaking down the number of seconds vs the number of emails is a fool’s mission. Don’t take that path. You’ll only look the fool.

Liar, liar, pants on fire. Once praised, then maligned, Comey is now, once again, about to be praised and securely placed back in the good graces of his detractors. All will be as it should in his world. He has, simultaneously, lost all credibility with the American people and managed to eternally tarnish the image of the FBI. Like my dad used to say, some people are so crooked, they can’t pee straight. No doubt, Comey’s bathroom floor is one sticky mess.

Bye, Bye America. A nation once governed by honorable, God fearing men and women, sometimes war heroes who had the best interest of the nation and its people is no more. When they demand that the election system be investigated and discover it was all rigged to show hilLIARy cLIARnton as the winner, just like the DNC was, and then declare Trump elected. Only when a candidate who is not a part of the standing political system is elected can America be great again. Otherwise, it will continue its descent into corruption. They may as well make John Gotti the president.
So that just leaves the Clinton Foundation Investigation being conducted by the IRS. Of all the parts of government to be rooting for I never thought it would be the one most disliked.
On the bright side even if elected by popular vote she or he are not yet President Elect until the Electoral College has had their turn that being the only vote that is legal. The best part is that no State law insofar as winner take all,some, none or indifferent has any legal bearing on their deliberations. The worst part is they will all be Clinton flunkies.
But there remains time for the IRS to do it’s investigation and in the meantime the Electoral College could be thinking of who else. The Runner Up or the Veep? Were I Trump and behind or even Clinton and behind I would await the pleasure of the real voters who can name pretty much anyone they want ….or throw it to the Congress.
Those two steps being the only way left to deny both candidates the winning majority.
