DONALD TRUMP WINS THE PRESIDENCY IN HISTORIC VICTORY

donald_trump_august_19_2015_croppedIt appears that that “basket of deplorables” was a bit larger than Hillary Clinton expected. I was up to 4 am at Fox participating in the coverage of the election from New York. This was my fourth such presidential election as part a media team and it was fascinating to watch unfold at the campaign headquarters at Fox. History will judge the decisions of Democrats leaders in this election.  As I have previously written, many in the Democratic National Committee and establishment (including allies in the media) did everything they could to engineer the election of Hillary Clinton. While they had an extremely popular candidate in Bernie Sanders as well as Vice President Joe Biden, they insisted on advancing Clinton despite her being deeply disliked and the ultimate symbol of the establishment that the public was rallying against. As the close race indicated, the selection of a Sanders or Biden might have produced a sweep of both the White House and the Senate for the Democrats. We will never know of course but what is clear is that Clinton was the least likely candidate to prevail in this environment. Democratic leaders lost possible control of both the Senate and the White House by forcing voters to vote for someone with record negatives. Voters were clear that they did not want Clinton, but the Democrats assumed that the “lesser of two evils” approach would again prevail. They were wrong. Many people voted for third party candidates and many people on the fence refused to pick the candidate most associated with the establishment and the status quo. I expect that history will judge the work of figures like Debbie Wasserman-Shultz and Donna Brazile harshly in the roles that they played and more generally in the failure of Democratic leaders to heed the clear demand from voters for a change in leadership.  Hillary Clinton was a talented and historic nominee. However, she was also the very symbol of the establishment and heavily laden with the type of associations that the public was clearly reacting against.

The wins in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania shows precisely how reckless and cynical the DNC strategy proved to be. Clinton won only 18 states and the District of Columbia, though it did earn her 242 electoral votes. Now for the first time in decades, the Democrats have handed a Republican president both houses of Congress. They solved gridlock but not in the way that they had hoped.

I was astonished to see Clinton decline to speak to her supporters who had wait so loyally at their campaign headquarters. While she did concede over the telephone to Trump, I thought it was bad form not to come down to the headquarters and address the nation and her supporters. They worked incredibly hard and the loss was a terrible blow for them. They deserved better in my view and I felt truly sorry for both their disappointment and effective abandonment at that moment. Looking at the results coming into the headquarters, it was clear that no further “counting” would change the result as Clinton’s telephone call affirmed a short while later. It is the final obligation of a candidate in a presidential campaign to be with your supporters and show the nation that the transition of power would proceed, as it always has, in an orderly fashion. It was highly ironic given the well-founded criticism of the statement of Trump that he might not accept the results of the election — a view driven home by Chris Wallace (who was the gold standard for moderators in these election debates).

The greatest loser in this election was the mainstream media. As I previously discussed, I believe that Trump did bring much of the negative coverage on himself. However, I saw many journalists discard any semblance of neutrality in their coverage, as vividly shown in Wikileaks emails of coordination with the Clinton campaign. The priority for the media should be a serious reexamination of its coverage in this election.

In the end, the public wanted change and they got it. The fact is that many of the public has long felt that they no longer controlled their government and they were right. That is what makes this so revolutionary and transformative for American politics. Whatever a Trump Administration may hold, it will be shock to the system and that is precisely what tens of millions of Americans wanted.

  1. Just a little counter perspective. While you are talking about fixtures on a plane, there has been some below the MSM goings-on in Ukraine. Remember that legally elected president there (but not very good prez there… kind of like our very own W), whom we helped start a revolution with the heinous state department lady talking people into taking gunfire for cookies? Well, it seems these “pro western dudes” are living quite the lavish lifestyle at their expense, and they aren’t really very happy about it.

Plus to those of you who are appalled by the “grab them by the pu $$ y…” comment, I call you with a

“We came we saw, he died (chuckle, chuckle…)” not by being grabbed, but by having a bayonet plunged rectally. I bet even SWM thinks that just not a very nice thing to do to people.

Man… come to think of it… those gold faucets… is it too change my vote?? Ooooops, I voted for a third party person. But maybe they use bronze faucets, so I would still like to change my vote.

    1. It’s not just knowing HRC shall one day enjoy Satan’s company in hell. It’s the degree to which she obviously desires Satan’s company.

Obama studied under Saul Alinksy, who fathered Obama’s SJW bigotry and hate whitey meme, which goes like this: When there is nothing to protest, make it up out of pure cloth. Protest for instance ‘institutional racism’ where no such act(s) of racism exist.

Read Alinksy’s Wiki page, in which he apparently said he longs to be in hell w/Satan after he dies.

    2. slohrss29

Good point. Victoria Nuland (married to uber neo kon Robert Kagan) really screwed Ukraine. And pushed for Monsanto. It was rumored that HRC was going to make her SOS. Good riddance!

  2. Just a PS Saw Vlad’s response to Trumps election. I think he has a few Russian hotties lined up for Donald to grope or otherwise play around with. If the Donald gets tired of Melania, he can trade her in for a Russian one.

    1. Be sure to check under your bed for Russians. They’re out there. I shine a light through my wooded back yard and can see them scurry off. Pests.

    2. Wow, you spend a lot of time musing about the Donald’s sex life. Jealous of his virility?

        1. Clinton Deja Vu Redux

It’s not Boxers or Briefs on the floor anymore
But Viagra or Cialis that opens the door
To fame and fortune with a twist
As long as the spouse is there to assist
And willing to stand by her cookies and man
Willingly stand by her cookies and man.

  3. Just some whimsical observations. Just how many First Ladies will Trump have during his term of office? My bet is he will get at least one new wife before his term is up. How long will most of Trumps supporters take the rather strong Czech accented English of his wife? Then there is the matter of his wife having violated US immigration laws by working on a tourist visa. That constitutes fraud, and thus she is ineligible for citizenship. Think that the ICE will penalize her or enforce the law? Talk about corruption! How about that Prof Turley? Any bets? Of course Trump will do what the GOP in Texas did when it came to actually making a real dent in illegals. Instead of passing a mandatory E-Verify law for all employers, the GOP instead passed a law against “sanctuary” cities in Texas. When asked what cities were sanctuary cities in Texas our former GUV Perry could not name any! The reason for not passing the E-verify mandate is that the biggest contributor the GOP had was Robert Perry, a homebuilder, whose workforce is mainly ILLEGALS!

Then it is obvious that Air Force One,747, is not up to Trumps standards. Will Congress vote to have gold plated faucets and fittings installed like Trump has in his 757? Or will he take them out of his 757 and use them there? I think he will bill the taxpayer for the gold fittings since he billed the Secret Service at DOUBLE the rate Clinton’s campaign charged the SS for its flying on the campaign aircraft.

    1. RandyJet, I know a lot of Americans have problems with geography – how often have I heard people confuse Sweden with Switzerland or Austria with Australia – still I feel compelled to point out that Melania is from Slovenia so no “Czech” accent. And I doubt many Trumpsters will complain much – she is striking and moves like a cat. And no one sane wanted to look at HRC for four years!

      1. It’s a good thing Melania is from Slovenia, otherwise, Trump would have had to Cache a bad Czech …. (sorry …)

        1. “Old men with trophy wives seems so yesterday.”
          ~+~
Yeah, how dare someone be able to love and marry anybody they choose.

  4. I saw a Trump supporter today at the hardware store buying ROPE! At another store, I saw a female Trump supporter buying a set of sheets! There is only one explanation for this: The Trump supporters are about to put on white gowns and start lynching African Americans, Jews, women, gays, undocumented workers, and transgenders!

Warn everybody you know about what is about to happen!

      1. In a stunning upset, Donald Trump was elected President of the United States last night. His supporters promptly tore through the streets of Philadelphia, spraying Nazi symbols, phrases, and racist slurs on buildings and cars.

          1. Why were they spraying left wing fascist symbols etc? Those belong to the losing side. Fascism is another name for National Socialism the evil twin brother to International Socialism aka Communists.Somebody flunked civics in high sch…. oh yes that’s right civics and the like isn’t taught anymore. Just subjects approved by left wing fascists.

            Not for long.

By the way who let the hate mongers of the left out? Nice of them to identify themselves. Dumb Asses.

        1. Trump supporting Brownshirts are unleashing Kristallnacht all over America.

Right-wing Amish Goon Squads ransacked Lancaster County…Pennsylvania is Burning! Christians are spreading hate in Philadelphia and are throwing gay people off buildings for men expressing Brotherly Love. The Salvation army is occupying South Street and the Trump Youth shot up a school with fully automatic pop-guns.

            1. The voice of National Socialism has spoken. Seig me no Heils none of us serve the party comrade.

            2. Memo to the uninitiated: Wikileaks has never been proven wrong in their leaks. Never.

Wikileaks confirmed in their email leaks that Hitlery and DNC not only paid operatives to unleash hell and start fist fights at Trump rallies (“act in a way to force them to punch you,” but more criminal acts to blame on Trump supporters. Satan himself “Soros” paid to buss fake protestors into Trump rallies.

Some readers have no idea how it is almost miraculous Trump won, considering 90% of MSM and the Elites were against him.

Do readers a favor please and see the definition of “Psyops.”

          1. The Nazi messages of Hate are coming STRICTLY from the progressive/leftists. That is their MO.

  5. It occurs to me that this election resembles Andrew Jackson’s 1828 victory. Back then, Jackson was the emotional, loud-speaking, mudslinging populist, versus the cerebral John Quincy Adams. Jackson won the election by capturing the southern and western (at the time) states. When he was in office, Jackson oversaw the removal of the Cherokee Indians to Oklahoma from Georgia, because poor whites coveted their lands. So shortly we will no doubt see the removal of the Hispanics (including no doubt many bona fide US citizens), to be tossed over the newly built wall.

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it” – Santayana

    1. Self-admitted son of a Judaic mother Stephan Molynieux has highly flawed pro-Judaic brain washing (he justifies Judaic ownership of certain jobs by stating it’s because Judaics are so smart, but the fact is Judaics are fifth in the bell curve, and if it went by smarts, Asians would own the Judicial and Banking and systems, which is of course farcical because Asians have such low ratio of such jobs).

But view Molynieux’s 30 minute YT video in which he absolutely annihilates the meme that Westerners committed mass extinction of US indigenous persons (US Indians). Stephan compares the DNA numbers then vs. now, and clearly explains that the spreading of disease is an absolutely normal and expected historical event, a far cry from the “evil whitey does it again” meme portrayed and spoon fed by schools and MSM (arms of the DNC by funny coincidence).

      1. The “evil whitey” uprooted an entire indigenous tribe from northwest Georgia, and forced them to march west to Oklahoma. A great many perished along the way. Does Molynieux discuss this awkward fact?

        1. Jay S – you are aware that The Last of the Mohicans was because the Iroquois had killed all the rest. Several north and south American tribes were ethnic cleansers.

          1. So what? That doesn’t excuse the removal of the Cherokees. They were considered a “civilized tribe,” with their own government, and their own written language. Their only problem was that whites coveted their land.

Again, so what? What does Iroquois warfare against Mohicans (which occurred in the North) have to do with ethnic cleansing of the Cherokees out of Georgia?

            1. Jay S – the Cherokee got land, not good land, but land with oil under it. The Mohicans were wiped out.

              1. Paul,
They still should not have been moved. Marshall, I believe, decided in their favor. Jackson was defiant.

It was wrong and it is a stain on our history.

                1. Prairie Rose – I do believe that Jackson commented something about the Supreme Court not having an army.

            2. Nothing you posted on this subject changes or contradicts the math: Pre and post whitey equals the same DNA composition of N. American indigenous DNA among N. Americans. Hold your breath till you pass out: sorry, the numbers stay constant.

If your meme is “whitey desired to wipe out indigenous DNA,” then whitey failed quite miserably. Do you deny the math proving whitey failed? Or do you agree with the DNA, and rather wish whitey succeeded with your alleged plan (to further some strange agenda such as financial gain or white self loathing?)

              1. Whitey back then certainly didn’t know anything about DNA. What whitey knew was that the Cherokee had desirable land, and whitey wanted it.

            3. I’ve got a bit of Cherokee blood and finally made it to the rez in NC – the museum is amazing and I began to cry half way through. However, apparently the Indians learned a lot from their “civilized” white bros — many owned black slaves. And when they marched to OK they took their “property” with them. After the Civil War the slaves were free but because they had grown up on the rez they identified with the Indians. They became part of the Cherokee nation — BUT after the money started flowing in from casinos they were thrown out. So much for the myth of the noble redman. Every group has its own shortcoming and greed crosses all barriers.

        2. No. I never said he denies any mass murder because he does not, and neither do I. Nothing “awkward” about your point at all. Do you deny the awkward fact of absolute brutality, worse than in your story, of Indian vs. Indian? Wow, breaking news, human beings are insanely evil and blood thirsty!

But he does blow up the myth that “evil whitey” diminished the existence of American indigenous DNA. Unfortunately for likely hate mongers like yourself, many or most of whom gain in money and/or prestige for promoting lies, the RATIO of indigenous DNA among Americans now is the same as it was pre-whitey arrival. The Indians are everywhere among is in our DNA.

Best I can tell, whitey’s spreading of disease among the indigenous is just another in countless similar events that alway happens in history. If the TB did not kill and/or diminish Indians, something else would have. Ever hear of the Irish potato famine?

Why don’t you watch the video before posting such biased nonsense? Post a particular point and blow it up if you can. I’m watching. As I said, Molynieux is full of it on at least one point, his denial of outright Judaic racism.

But don’t let these facts bother your meme, which you’re entitled to maintain and spread for your financial gain and or white self loathing.

  6. I encourage readers to re-post the following story wherever possible. “I swear under penalty of perjury, the following story accurately represents the story ‘person X’ told me.”

I have very close relationship with “person X.” Person X’s specific work location has sum total work force of about thirty persons (part and full time), about 95-99% of whom are Hispanic. X’s specific work location is a Federal Head Start Program comprising a very loving and generally great pre-school program for children aged from six weeks (yes, babies) to age five. By policy dictate, 100% or almost 100% of the parents and/or guardians of student children must be employed in the food and/or agriculture industry. X’s work campus serves families of migrant farm workers and persons who put food on US plates. I am extremely proud to know person X, a Hispanic American citizen. If you like to eat, thank persons like Person X.

Another Hispanic American citizen, Person Z, works five days per week/about five hours per day, directly with person X. Within the past couple days, person X told me person Z told person X something very closely approximating this: “I have a huge group of illegal immigrant Facebook friends, and they all are loud, emphatic Trump supporters.” Person Z expressed shock and amazement in telling this story. Person Z also told Person X that Person Z voted for Hillary.

If you are among those brain washed by Elites that all or most Latins and Blacks hate Trump, please Google YT videos: “Hispanics who support Trump” and “Blacks who support Trump.” You’ll see incredible, passionate, real, regular Latin and Black Americans who love and support Trump (vs. Hillary’s FB page, which the DNC built w/fake purchased likes, as Wiki proved).

And if are among my fellow Americans who are crystal clear that a zygote (a one-celled human being) is just as human as Turley and/or anyone else, take solace in this USA Today quote from our future VP Pence: “…’Let me assure you the Trump/Pence administration will stand for the sanctity of life and defend the unborn from the first day that we take office,’ he said in a speech at the Family Research Council’s Values Voter Summit in September. ‘I want to live to see the day that we put the sanctity of life back at the center of American law and we send Roe v. Wade to the ash heap of history’….” (scroll down about 50% here): http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/11/09/president-obama-election-clinton-trump/93201172/?AID=10709313&PID=6165145&SID=ivapfzvsa6016gad00dth

I have absolutely no Republican party affiliation. I would prefer both the R. and D. party be banned by law from Federal elections for at least a half C.

This is the first election in which I participated for a long time.

    1. If Roe v Wade is overturned, abortion availability will depend on each state. Now, Republicans generally favor local control of social issues, but obviously they would not stand for that in the case of abortion, because a woman could just travel to some other state for an abortion.

So, suppose the Republicans are able to make abortion criminal anywhere in the US. What then?

No doubt many back alley or self-abortions will occur, and many women will die, as they did many years ago. Women of sufficient means would be able to travel to Canada, the Caribbean, or Mexico. What then? Tell me, Mr. Jones, what then? Mandatory fertility testing of all young women? Mandatory pregnancy testing at all airports? Invasion of Canada or Mexico to stamp out abortions there? What then?

And just because you think a fertilized egg is a person, I certainly don’t. And neither do many others. Is a sperm cell half a person? Does a woman own her own body?

      1. If the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade so that no federal constitutional right to procreative privacy exists, Congress could legislate a total, nationwide ban on abortion under the Commerce Clause it seems to me. Of course, every male in America would undergo all-out bluing of his balls until that law is repealed.

      2. When they ban gay marriage what happens to those that are already legally married?

      3. “No doubt many back alley or self-abortions will occur, and many women will die, as they did many years ago. What then?”

I don’t know. I’m in favor of unwanted babies finding homes somewhere. I never promote human suffering including pregnant women. I’m not in favor of genocide to make life easier on pregnant woman, something you prefer. Do you favor all genocide when human existence makes life tough for someone else, or just the unborn? These questions should trouble you, but they probably don’t.

“And just because you think a fertilized egg is a person, I certainly don’t. And neither do many others. Is a sperm cell half a person? Does a woman own her own body?”

Earlier I asked pro abortionists to explain how a zygote fails the test for human being definition. Count yourself among those unable to answer this simple question. The fact the zygote requires food and shelter provided only within a woman’s womb is not the zygote’s fault nor failure, and does not = a deserved death penalty, does it?

Every single law requires men and women to perform and/or avoid certain functions with their body. (The only known exception is thought laws such as in Canada and 17 EU nations that imprison persons for disbelieving the Western prescribed Judaic Holocaust meme.)

If abortion is outlawed, this is just another law. Nobody has ultimate right to do whatever they want w/their body, including pregnant women if abortion is outlawed. It’s the State’s job to protect innocent persons from harm, including those residing/growing/feeding in the womb.

It appears quite obvious why you can not/shall not answer the question of humanity, because once it’s answered the rest falls immediately into place. Pregnant women have murdered about 30M unborn women, so your logic is severely and fatally (forgive the unintended pun) flawed.

It’s of great interest that the Roman empire went back and forth many times, either outlawing or allowing abortion (see Caesar And Christ).

Obviously, the men who ran the US once defined Negros as 3/5ths human. Was that true and correct?

Another Q: a female pregnant w/a male has within her womb a human being comprising only male DNA and chromosomes. If this fetus is not human, then how does science explain the fact the woman’s “body” now comprises both gender DNA within one body?

    1. OK, I’ll bite: I’ll agree to end the electoral college if/when the FTC yanks all broadcast licenses from the lying scum MSM who present as if they are fair and even handed, when Wiki proves beyond a shadow of a doubt they are absolute mouth pieces of one political viewpoint (the DNC). The DNC worked in concert w/CNN, MSN, and others to insure HRC won the nomination and the national election.

Anyone even approaching a fair view (I want both parties banned from national elections) knows perfectly well the DNC owns outright about 90% of MSM.

And another pre-requisite: burn the Dept of Education to the ground forever, which Carter created solely as payback for supporting Carter in the election (one of his many disgusting failures).

And how about an open fair, scientific debate confirming the obvious: a one celled zygote human being comprises every single quality that defines homo sapiens. If you state that a zygote must gestate in a female’s body, and this disqualifies it’s humanity, then every single unconscious or helpless person who would otherwise die without external human intervention is also not human by definition. Many humans other than zygotes would otherwise die without human charity and intervention.

And finally, cease all federal funding of education (especially college), a proven cesspool for liberal hate speech and thought and separating/dividing of Americans for solely political gain. One Q: since the Dept of Ed, has education improved or been severely degraded?

You adhere to the above and you’d not see a liberal scum of the earth like HRC win ever again, no matter how you count the votes, Electoral College or not.

Any BTW, I do believe Gore would have been less likely to invade Iraq (the USA’s worst, most criminal foreign policy act), unless he succumbed to the browbeating of warmongers like HRC and Cheney.

        1. I have a huge array of acquaintances of all stripes. I can think of at least the following persons who live off the public dole.

One has such personality defects (I mean this literally, he is just plain anti social) that he uses his otherwise minor physical defect to feed at the public trough. He’s in his mid 40s.

Another is in her late 40s/early 50s. She was abused as a child and is allegedly an emotional wreck, but is physically absolutely fine.

Another is a female alcoholic who is otherwise a tall, strong, strapping woman about 5-9 or 5-10.

Another was abused as a child, but is fully capable of working, early 60s.

Every one of the above is absolutely capable of getting a job and working to support themselves, but refuses to do so because of the insane social net that now exists. It is a sin, and abomination these people do nothing but sit around being busy bodies while others work to feed them.

I used to drive a large truck through San Francisco’s so-called “Tenderloin” district in the middle of the work day. I was amazed, turning the corner, to see every single day, hundreds if not thousands of what appeared to be strapping, healthy, black males jay walking through every street, never looking for traffic, obviously unemployed, going God knows where doing God only knows what, wearing hoodies, dark glasses, slouched over, younger and stronger than me.

How many of the above persons do you think collect welfare to buy booze and drugs, and often resell drugs to enslave other innocents?

The original purpose of the current disability payments for Social Service was to support single surviving spouses (obviously mostly women at that time) and their children so they’d not be destitute and die on the street. God, have we come a long way from that goal.

The disability payments now are an easy out for Obonga’s FSA (look it up), because he has destroyed the economy and desire to work.

  7. Now Fox and their talking heads can tell their viewers how great life is with all four branches of government. Who will they blame for FAILURE

    1. Hopefully the candidates who are selling out.

It is still rigged in favor of the corporatists. That will take awhile to dismantle.

  8. Dear Democrats,

For eight years you have ignored the illegal behavior of Obama. Every atrocity he committed, every executive over reach, every war (now at 8 going on WWIII with Russia), his torture in Gitmo and other black sites, austerity measures, police state tactics against protesters, mass surveillance, a “health” scam to benefit his donors, record criminal charges against whistleblowers, complete lack of transparency, even a direct order of a hit on an innocent 16 year old boy and NONE of these things bothered you. You have stood silent as his shock troops invaded the homes of immigrants and Muslims. You are silent as he sells weapons to terrorists and nations who support those terrorists. Silent about how wall street controls his cabinet, his every decision regarding the economy. Silent as he did nothing to stem global warming. Silent as he plots the economic downfall of all but the 1% with his trade deals as well as the destruction of the environment these deals will cause.

You have been silent about the corruption, lies, and control of the media that Clinton engages in. You have stood by as she committed her own war crimes and surrounded herself with Bush and Obama war criminals in preparation for her selection as president. You stood silently as she called Hispanic voters tacos, black women and men– the black, gays, whiny and high maintenance, tried to use Bernie’s religion against him and stole a primary. You remained silent at her speeches to Wall Street and all they implied of who she feels allegiance. A woman who claimed to know the science of global warming promoted fracking around the world. You said nothing.

No depravity was too great for you to object. Now you are face to face with the consequences of that silence. All the power you gave “your” party’s president against our citizens, other nation’s peoples and the environment flows to your hated enemy. He will now wield the power you freely handed over to your own corrupt, evil man.

You can believe that this actual leftist is truly angry with your actions. Their are many of us who were abused by you for pointing out your willful stupidity and lack of ethical action when it came to the illegal and unjust powers of the president and others in “your” party.

You can also believe that I hope you will joining with the many people, on the right and the left, who genuinely want to turn around this nation. We want the wars to stop. We want the poverty to stop. We want social justice for all. We want environmental justice. We don’t want your police state. We don’t want your totalitarianism. We will move to bring justice into our society.

Good riddance to your false god/dess(es).

      1. I think the protest movement will expand and the left will become reenergized with Obama out of the way.

        1. But you didn’t say I know. The left always leaves themselves a handy escape hatch by saying ‘I think’ even though it’s a conscious act they are unfamiliar with.

As long as you continue to ‘not get it’ left wing fascism is an easy target.

It wasn’t about Trump. It was about Hillary and by extension ObeyMe.

More than that it wasn’t about people as much as it was about a self governed Constitutional Republic system of government versus a Socialist Autocracy and people tired of being ‘not represented.’ and then ripped off.
          ]

What do you expect from people who end all sentences with a question mark.

          “What he say?”

          “Exactly.”

    1. Excellent rant, Jill! Would that even one of the Democrats you are addressing actually read it (though I doubt the words would make any sense to them)..

      1. I read it, and agree with much of it. At the same time a young Latino woman showed me the bruises she received at a Trump rally. She was born in this country but is concerned about her family. I know, I know that Obama also deported people but I still felt awful when I saw the bruises. The young lady plans to continue her protesting. I think we will be seeing a lot more of that among the young.

        1. Obama just doesn’t deport people. He orders the knock down the door, put the guns to people’s head, screaming in your face night raids on both legal and illegal immigrants. Further, this same “humanitarian” has immigrant children locked up in cold rooms.

If a person is sincere in their concern for immigrants being abused then they would have been calling out Obama for years now. Instead, concern is only expressed about Trump. That’s how come I know NPR and Democracy Now etc. commentators are not sincerely interested in immigrants being harmed by a powerful president. They’ve only recently “discovered” that there is a problem. That problem concerns Trump and only Trump. Guess what Democrats, your leader is a problem! He has never minded hurting immigrants as you stood by, cheering and supporting him in every way. So, forgive me if I don’t think your new found concern about immigrants rights is sincere.

We need protesting of wrongdoing by young and old alike. Wikileaks shows us that Democrats in the DNC deliberately fomented violence at Trump rallies. This is something I didn’t hear Democrats speak about either. A party “leadership” which foments violence among the people in an attempt to win an election is despicable.

I am very sorry this young woman got hurt. I would suggest everyone needs to stop being willing to excuse violence on “their” side and be much better people. First they came…

    2. Jill – great and spot on. I will be sending this out to my Hilbot friends – all of whom have been silent all day.

Just got an email from my church – they are holding a special service tonight to grieve the loss of HRC. I want to put on my pro woman / anti Hillary shirt and attend, but my husband says “hell no” These idiots who refused to support Sanders

      1. Your church? Wow–the churches I have attended have never expressly endorsed a candidate. Not for fear of IRS retaliation but because it can divide a church (and I don’t want to hear my pastor telling me who to vote for; I can decide that for myself). My pastor did make some annoyed comments about both leading candidates, though.

        1. Prairie Rose,

They did not “officially” endorse HRC, but everyone was supporting her. Filled with snowflakes and SJWs

  9. Prof. Turley offers the following analysis: “As the close race indicated, the selection of a Sanders or Biden would have likely produced a sweep of both the White House and the Senate for the Democrats.”

Wrong! As usual, those who choose to be blind, or whose progressive/leftist predilections naturally make them blind, completely miss the point of this election and its meaning. The fact is that Trump won the majority of votes because most of the public are sick and tired of the Elite Establishment (Republicans and Democrats) and its progressive/leftist agenda directed at the destruction of America. This was the most powerful overriding issue facing America. Neither Clinton, nor Sanders, nor Johnson, nor Stein remotely presented an antidote to that progressive/leftist agenda. Indeed, all four of those candidates promised more of the same progressive/leftist agenda–despite their purported political labels–and are PART of the problem!

Pat Condell, in stark contrast to the blind, offered the following intelligent analysis of the core issue facing America. (There are many other issues, of course, but the core one is what truly separated Trump from all of the rest of the candidates.)

    http://www.patcondell.net/americas-moment-of-truth/

      1. You’re dreaming, Autumn. America had its fill of Obama socialism, so Americans were never going to go even further to the left with an open border, Islamic terrorist-friendly government that Sanders would favor. Clinton’s open border, Islamic terrorist-friendly policies were considered by the public to be bad enough. Also, Clinton’s popular vote in the primary was 55.23% vs. Sanders’ 43.12%, a more than 12% gap.

        1. Ralph, HRC and the DNC rigged the primaries – look at the crowds he garnered just like Trump – and many of them voted for Trump as they feared her more. Obama was not a socialist – all the monies went to his corporate sponsors.

  10. I watched your coverage Professor. Bravo! Let’s hope for a judicial appointment for you and get the judiciary back to actually reading the Constitution.

Not much will change. The political noblesse oblige will always think it’s better than the voters, will always try to subvert the will of the People (except in the rare case when the will and the money coincide), and will always be complicit with the media who now serves it. They won’t clean house, they won’t apologize, and they won’t learn.

When the pendulum swings too far toward one end of the political continuum, the People will eventually rein it back in and move it in the opposite direction. The People have had enough of the politically correct nonsense that’s been building to a head since the 90s, and have given the Red Team free reign to reverse it. And the Red Team will eventually get too caught up in its own agenda nonsense and we’ll see another electoral revolution to start the pendulum swinging back from whence it came.

    1. Autumn, Great clip. But, Milo won’t be able to keep that trim, hot, body if he keeps swilling beer and eating cake and ice cream. Well, at least it’s Lite beer.

      1. Nick, I think Milo splurged due to Trump’s victory. Normally he does not eat carbs – apparently he used to be fat himself. He treasures his hot persona. And btw: Michelob or whatever that swill he was drinking is NOT real bier =)

      1. Squeeky, I must have missed it. I will read it right now. What a glorious day my friend!

  11. Thomas Frank offers insightful analysis on why Trump won. I highly recommend his excellent book “Listen Liberals: Or Whatever Happened to the Party of the People” This is an opportunity for the Democratic party to return to it’s old school values. I am thankful to the Donald and Julian Assange for exposing their massive corruption. Will the Demoncrats read this? Probably not, they are too busy wailing, gnashing their teeth and blaming everyone except themselves for supporting a craven candidate.

    https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/nov/09/donald-trump-white-house-hillary-clinton-liberals?utm_source=esp&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=GU+Today+USA+-+morning+briefing+2016&utm_term=198948&subid=13160852&CMP=ema_a-morning-briefing_b-morning-briefing_c-US_d-1

    1. “Thomas Frank offers insightful analysis on why Trump won.”

Yes, Trump won the needed number of electoral votes–but, as in 2000–he did not win the popular vote. As of 5:45 PM today, Clinton leads Trump by more than 200,000 votes. I see no mandate there!

      Clinton: 59,796,265–48%
      Trump: 59,589,806–47%

      1. This is the result of democratic voters being concentrated mostly in urban areas. If our country had “one acre, one vote,” rather than “one person, one vote,” The GOP would probably have a 95%+ win.

  12. Since Trump has said on day one he will repeal Obamacare, that means that as of Jan 20 my wife will not have any insurance coverage and cannot get any at any price. Congrats Turley, I am sure you will be pleased since as Trump also said, he will put Hillary in prison. I trust that since you are on the GOP payroll as a counsel, you will be able to take the post of Special Prosecutor to jail her. If you do a good job as you stated in many of your posts that you think she should be indicted, and get her a good long prison term of 20 years or more, then a seat on the SCOTUS will be assured.

There is an interesting legal question for prosecuting Hillary. Would you try her in DC or move it to a more friendly venue such as Texas, Alabama, South Carolina, etc.? Would the indictment include Foster’s death, and the other deaths that Trumps supporters credit her with? Or will you and the GOP spend another $63 million dollars investigating her and use a special court to put her in prison? If she is tried in DC by a jury she will probably walk, and that would be a real shame for Trump after spending all kinds of money.

Then Trump also said he will start construction of the wall ASAP. I wonder if he knows the logistics of building such a wall since it will take the entire cement production of the US for one year. There of course is not any objection to cost, and we will gladly pay billions or more to Trumps firms to construct it.

Another item is that I feel sorry for the crew of his 757,since they are out of a job now, unless the taxpayers pick up the tab for modifying his plane. I think he might do both. Use his personal plane and have us pick up the tab for modifying it, and also use the 747 for longer trips. Nothing is too good for our Fuhrer.

    1. RandyJet, I am truly sorry to hear your wife will lose her insurance. No one in the richest country on earth should have to worry about access to medical care or destroy their credit because they cannot afford the bills. However, Obamacare did not cover millions of people — and just because people have insurance does not mean they have access what with co pays, deductibles, etc. Until Americans come to the conclusion that we need to expand Medicare for All nothing will ever change.

As far as the wall – maybe it can be a WPA project – actually many people would probably volunteer to help build it.

And yes, we would like to see HRC locked up so we can have faith in justice again.

      1. My friends here in Mexico have solved a number of problems in one elegant solution. Contract Mexico to build the wall. After all if the use contractors from the USA they will just hire illegals anyway.

    2. While ACA is not perfect, something was established that had been needed for decades that our long termed congressmen/women could not pull off or even invent a starting point. At this point, repeal of ACA is not possible. Updates to the program are possible, but I don’t see how it can be demolished given the following stats…

The Current 2016 enrollment numbers: The current enrollment numbers (as of February 2016) are roughly: 12.7 million in the marketplace, and very roughly 20 million total between the ACA between the Marketplace, Medicaid expansion, young adults staying on their parents plan, and other coverage provisions.

      1. Yes, they will repeal.

As has been said, “Don’t get sick. But if you get sick, die quickly.”

      2. Something tells me you have absolutely no idea how many employers, especially w/small numbers of employees, have been decimated by ACA. My wife’s employer changed from 40 to only 32 hours specifically and solely because of this evil law, to avoid paying insurance premiums.

It seems rather arbitrary to believe employers are primarily responsible to solve American’s health insurance woes.

The definition of failure is the difference between the number of healthy persons the LIC (liar in Chief) promised would sign up vs. the actual current number. The cost to healthy persons to not be insured is only two months of insurance premiums. HEALTHY YOUNG PERSONS SHALL NEVER SIGN UP FOR THIS PATHETIC PROGRAM TO MAKE IT WORK.

If the program is/was so good, why did the primary author admit he lied about it intentionally and solely to make it pass? If such practice is OK for ACA, then either you approve of such lying for any law, including one that financially destroys you and your family. Is such the case? If not, you are a hypocrite and your argument is fatally flawed.

Everything the government and/or third party says they want to make more affordable inflates in price well above the rate of inflation, houses, medical insurance, etc, etc. Is this a coincidence, or is it only logical that demand goes up for everything the government pays for, thus causing its value to inflate?

        1. In the rosy post-Obamacare world, what should happen to healthy young people, who get unlucky, get sick, or have an accident? “Too bad !” ??

          1. In a post-Obamacare world, “healthy young people” will either buy health insurance, or they will not buy health insurance.
Healthy young people were not frozen out from getting coverage in the pre-Obamacare world, nor would they be
frozen out in a post Obamacare world.
Under Obamacare currently, they can pay a penalty if they decide to go without insurance, then get coverage under Obamacare AFTER their health problems arise.
Overall, I don’t see that young people would be worse off in a post Obamacare world.
Indeed, the “cost shifting” , not cost containment, was the primary focus of Obamacare.
And the Obamacare enrollment shortage of young, healthy adults
to subsidize others is a key factor in the collapse of the exchanges.

        2. Like I said it is not perfect but won’t be abolished. It will require an overhaul. Cannot just suddenly yank coverage from millions of people. As for small business, blame insurance and pharmaceuticals for the cost increases. I worked for a large Corp when ACA was established and had decent insurance. Before insurance companies had time to even read the act they increased their premiums dramatically. I don’t blame ACA, as it was finally an attempt to help those needing coverage to be covered. As for the fallout of the program a lot the blame is square on corporations, insurance companies and pharmaceuticals.

          1. Tired of ignorance-
I didn’t see anything specific Trump’s proposals, except for eliminating state barriers to purchase health insurance from any insurance company.
I agree that Obamacare can’tcbe overturned without proposing a realistic alternative.
I still think that the biggest single factor that threatened Obamacare was the insuffient numbers of younger, healthier people.
Obamacare relied on that demograghic to shore up the system, to subsidize it.
When large numbers of young adults stayed away, a key prop of Obamacare. was removed.

            1. And one very large number is a group of younger people that finally got something out of CHAMPUS Tricare and some not so young. I’ve been on one form or another of it since 1964. The requirement to draw military retirement is signing up for Medicare Part B and D. Which combines with Tricare . Maybe one day I’ll get some use out the $100 a month it costs me. That cheap you ask? I think That expensive.

Where I live local medical assistance including the prescriptions is around 40% of US prices from before Obamacare. No co-pay No deductible. Add $70 a year for emergency ‘jet’ air medevac just in case and woosh back to the USof A we go Walk in or drive in to the nearest facility and hand over the Retirement ID Card and so forth.

Litigation and Tort Lawyer costs? They don’t exist here.

Ambulance with qualified para medic responders No Charge.

Where’s here? the other side of the wall and there’s about a million of us enjoying the sunshine. But you can’t get USA insurance to pay for it. At 60% off who cares? Body, teeth, eyes, etc. all of it.

              1. Michael..
I has prescription drug coverage, but I’ve crossed the border ( Algodones) to pay out of pocket.
Even when my net cost might be cheaper after insurance, I’ve paid more (net cost to me) in Algodones.
The circular path of “have your doctor contact us” again and again by my Part D provider makes it impractical to jump through their hoops.
I’ll pay out of pocket at times just to avoid the horsesh** barriers Express Scripts aets up.

                  1. Spent a month there many decades ago. San Carlos was a sleepy little beach village and Guaymas had about three paved streets. Loved it there. Great fishing. Stick a spoon in the water and you’ll get a bite. Ever been to the beach where Catch-22 was filmed?

                    1. hey Steve – off topic somewhat – I just finished an autobiography by his daughter – she’s a good writer and it was an interesting glimpse into Joe and their lifestyle. While he had a lot of different friends they essentially lived in a Jewish enclave. When they went to Rome her little brother asked about “the man on the T”

“Yossarian Slept Here” by Erica Heller

                    2. Thanks for the clip Steve – until I read Erica’s book I never knew there was a film made. Apparently Joe Heller was pleased with Nichol’s work. Was it the pre cursor for “MASH”?

                    3. Autumn: Apparently, both MASH (January, 1970) and Catch-22 (June, 1970) were released as films in the same year. I don’t know which went into production first, but it appears as though there was no connection.

    3. Randyjet, you have little to fear (other than that Obamacare -or what ever it will now be called- that it sinks under its own weight). Obamacare comes straight out of the Heritage foundation; it is a conservative think-tank wet dream to save the insurance companies who were floundering from their own greed and had literally priced too many people out of the volontary medical insurance market. It was first implemented by Romney in Taxachussetts and subsequently put in place nationally by a Vichy liberal drooling to fulfill his master’s orders (that is, the insurance companies wrote the legislation and Obama scurried around making sure it happened just as they wanted). Money flows by mandate, (FORCE OF LAW), to the insurance companies faster than Lucky Luciano could empty the pockets of a store owner so it’s unlikely that either party (both are still feeding at the trough, btw, so that won’t change) that either party will lift a finger to harm it other than perhaps change the name – but if they do, you can rest assured something equally noxious will be put in its place. It will buoy up a morally rotten insurance industry for the meager price of helping a small segment of dwindling middle class managing to hang on while ensuring those just above the poverty line pay for it via lethal deductibles that prevent them from ever seeing a cent of thier hard earned monthly payments ever going toward actual medical expenses.. Do you really care if it’s called TrumpCare rather than ObamaCare as long as you can ride the backs of those poor souls and sanguinely tell your friends that sooner or later, maybe a decade, maybe more – who cares?- it will dribble down to all.

I too feel badly for those who will be affected, I feel even worse for those who ARE affected, but I can’t help but wish the former would think of others besides themselves when they refuse to insist on universal health care because at least THEIR needs are being met.

      1. Romneycare in Massachusetts has actually worked rather well. The state is not broke, and almost everyone has health insurance. It probably helps that there has not been a zealous campaign to get rid of it.

      2. For another idea and this is in short form is transistion to Medical Savings Accouont at the ceiling or top with a government/taxpayer sponsored floor as a safety net. MSA’s since they save the government so much money are of course untaxed income. That is one basic part of that system. The key will come if Tort reform is instituted another reason to not allow attorneys to serve in Congress.

        1. Michael……I think the suggestions you made are the best realistic chance to control a runaway train.
When Hillary was promoting HillaryCare in 1993, an MD suggested the very things you mentioned.
I was watching the testimony on C-SPAN, and in about 15 minutes the doctor laid out the basics of a very workable plan, sans thousands of pages of new legislation involved in the Hillary proposals.

          1. I got the idea from Hillsdale College. I’m sure they would present the whole idea in proper form for the asking. Professor Aarn is also the College President . online.hillsdale.edu

    4. Randyjet, I think most all Republicans support insurance companies not dropping people because of pre-existing conditions. Your fears about your wife losing insurance are probably unwarranted. Trump has promised to replace the ACA with something better.

      1. When you go through the arithmetic, “something better” costs as much or more. The only way to save money is to deny coverage, one way or another. Unless you could persuade the doctors to cut their salaries in half, say.

  13. Let’s not forget that this campaign was a lot about illegal immigration and Obama’s gerrymandering sanctuary policy. Another 4 years and we would have lost our country completely.

    1. I am puzzled by the notion of “we would have lost our country completely.” What do you mean by that? When you say “our” country, who is us? Who is “we”? Just old white people? Are Hispanics part of “our” country? Blacks? Asians? Are urban dwellers included in “our” country?

      1. Well, people who enter the country illegally are not part of our country. If somebody just entered your home, without your permission, would they be part of your family? Would the race of that person matter to you? Would you be a racist if the intruder was black? Would you be a xenophobe if the intruder was Hispanic?

        That is pretty basic.

  14. “I was astonished to see Clinton decline to speak to her supporters who had wait so loyally at their campaign headquarters.”

Her lack of appreciation for her who hard work on her behalf is typical of HRC. She has always grovelled to Wall Street and other crony capitalists, and has never shown anything but disdain for “the help”.

      1. Ding Dong The Witch is Dead the Wicked Witch……had no heart. That was a real subjectivists answer. Funny though.

        1. Good one, she had NO RESPECT for anyone who even worked for her…..they were merely the lower class of subjects to “Her Royal Lowness”……….

Jay: She has NO HEART, as it’s Always about HER……….Her Power/Control and lastly the most important-Her Fortune. Her speech today, was typical Hillary…….save face, clearly her “Slick Political B.S” and All about HER.

            1. It’s about HER LOVE OF MONEY AND HER CORRUPTION- WITH HER “MONEY LAUNDERING THRU THE FAKE CHARITY…..

        2. I am amazed that so many people viscerally HATE Hillary. I think Trump is woefully unprepared to be President, but I don’t hate him. What has stirred all this up, for so long?

  15. If the Democrats had not been so demeaning, hateful and mean, this victory would not have been so sweet.

    President Donald Trump 🇺🇸 🙂

    1. Oh yeah. My dad had a lot of Peanuts books, and Wizard of Id, and BC, and others. Plus, The Black Maria, which I stole from him.

OH, and yesterday I got a war book in the mail, because I do not know as much about army and war stuff as I ought to. I got the Larousse Encyclopedia of WWII. Larousse is a French publisher that puts out a lot of excellent encyclopedias of stuff, like Mythology, Art, Folklore, cooking, music, etc. Which you can get English versions, too.

Oh I digressed! I was up to 5:00 watching the CNN people in shock mode. Alyson Camerota looked like a chick whose husband just caught her coming out of a motel room with the mail man.
