  1. Oh my God this story made me cry. I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, for his loss, and for his family. They are in my thoughts and prayers. What kind of animal would shoot a Dad for wanting to get his baby girl out of the car they were trying to steal? Why weren’t these young men taught what it means to be a real man? The victim was a real man to be proud of, who took the position that these thugs would take his precious 2 year old daughter over his dead body. Men are supposed to protect children. Perhaps his death saved his girl after all, since the criminals dropped his wallet and ran. They didn’t take her.

What happens to make a presumably healthy young man have so much hate and rage in his heart that he would shoot a father who WOULD NOT let his daughter get kidnapped? Is it in how they were raised? Now these two are going to waste their lives rotting in cages, being told where they can go to the bathroom, what they can eat, and where they can walk. Boy, they sure showed the world, didn’t they?

I’m just in tears over this. God bless him for never giving up on saving his daughter.

  2. The award for most heinous car jacking is this one:
it rocked the DC area for years. I remembered the victim’s name instantly.

The one mentioned in JT’s article is pretty close.
I’d say find them guilty by a jury of their peers, exhaust all appeals and then take the two siblings up in a C-130 up to 13K feet and then let them find a little air, sans parachutes.
Then they could have a few minutes to think about life before they became one with the ground.

    1. Parachute them into the central Congo. They could either join Boko Haram or end up as a tasty snack for a cheetah.

  3. This brings bad memories. I worked some horrible cases when I was an investigator w/ the KC prosecutor’s office. But the case that made me realize I had to get out of criminal work was a robbery/murder similar to this. A father, mother, and 22 year old son w/ the mental capacity of a 5 year old were walking down the street when 2 thugs approached. They demanded money. Both parents gave up their wallets and their disabled son gave up the changed they had in his pocket. Then ,out of blind hate, one of the sh!tbirds shot the father in the face, killing him.

The non shooter would not flip on the shooter so we had to go to trial. Our 2 witnesses were mom and the son. I knew we would have to qualify the son prior to testifying so I spent time w/ him going over his qualifying and incident testimony. I met w/ him several times and cried after each meeting w/ him and his mother. I wanted to do harm to the shooter. I knew it was time to get out of criminal work and serendipity had the opportunity come shortly afterward, we us moving to Chicago.

My prayers for this sweet girl, her mother, and sister. I encourage folks to go to the GoFundMe page. But, a prayer for the living costs you nothing. I always pray for the living. They are the ones who suffer. This man is w/ the Good Lord and comforted.

  4. Judging people by skin shade and poverty and attacking them for those conditions is lazy and ignorant. There are many good ways to identify learning disorders and mental illness and do whatever is necessary to address those conditions. The first place to start is with birth control, sterilization, and easy termination of pregnancies.

    1. Who said anything about poverty? Where is it reported these two suffered from a learning disorder or mental illness (the latter of which would have prevented them from legally purchasing a gun under PA law)? Neither of those conditions, BTW, predisposes a person to carjack someone else and shoot him in the face when he resists. Thug culture and being raised by a single mom has been shown to predispose individuals to this type of lawlessness. Perhaps someone should be looking into whether those determinative factors were at play here.

  5. That poor widow believes justice will be served now that they have been caught. She will have to endure a lengthy trial procedure that will likely lead to the shooter (teen) graduating from finishing school at the state penitentiary before this 2 year old graduates high school…without her father.

Justice should be swift, especially when the crime is caught on camera and/or multiple witnesses are available. All in one day. Forget the whiny back story on why you believe this animal became an animal. Show the video, prove the crime was committed by the defendant, verdict, sentence of death. Then walk him out back for the firing squad. Done. Justice served.

    1. Great move with Donald Sutherland, about a serial murderer in Russia. The killer was obviously mentally unbalanced. He had killed several young women. The investigator went to great lengths to prove, with the killer’s admission, that he was indeed guilty. Every thing that could be done to ascertain that the man had indeed killed several women was done non stop. Then a police office marched the guilty one down to a cell and shot him in the back of the head before the killer was aware of what was going to happen. No revenge, no great legal statement, no argument between ideologies; simply the removal of a human being that was broken beyond repair. The 25 cent solution.

    2. The Constitution protects all; even ignorant racists like yourself.

This is to “who needs a constitution” olly

  6. The death penalty is not good enough for these killers. They need “the acid test”. Put them in a net and bind them loosely so they can go goosey. Lower them into a huge aquarium filled with car battery acid. Pull them up before they drown. Repeat the process. If the net falls apart due to the acid then wack em on the head if they try to climb out. Video the whole shebang and send the video to their parents. Sterilize the parents. And sterilize any offspring of the killers. The Sixth Commandment says: Thou Shalt Not Kill. But if the people of the state do it then they fall into “The Y’all Can Exception”.

    1. Another keyboard warrior. Were you charged with a crime, you’d cry like a baby about YOUR constitutional rights. You start taking other’s rights away, yours are right behind them. Pro tip: ignorance is repairable.

This is to “make me puke” piet

  7. Hmm, gave up his car keys and wallet but “Insisted on getting his toddler first”.
There goes that “White privileged, White Supremacy” thing again. How dare he.

  8. Some comments here are as gross as the murder (“What a shocking thing to say!” these critics-of-snowflakes Snowflakes will say).

Two punks acted tough and deserve immediate death: and in a case like this, hopefully their experience will be slow and saturated in pain. But blame their vile brains for doing this, not their irrelevant skin-color.

    1. Skin color is highly relevant when it is closely associated with our personal and collective reality. You see a couple of Chinese students walking in your direction one lovely evening in Philadelphia, I’ll wager my next paycheck that you won’t be alarmed. But if it is a couple of orangoutangs loping towards you with one hand holding up the sagging pants and another on a handgun, you can say goodbye to your silly liberal pretensions, along with everything else.

  9. For those who are interested, the state could decline the case and refer it to the federal system for prosecution:

    18 U.S. Code § 2119 – Motor vehicles

Whoever, with the intent to cause death or serious bodily harm takes a motor vehicle that has been transported, shipped, or received in interstate or foreign commerce from the person or presence of another by force and violence or by intimidation, or attempts to do so, shall—

    1. be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 15 years, or both,
    2. if serious bodily injury (as defined in section 1365 of this title, including any conduct that, if the conduct occurred in the special maritime and territorial jurisdiction of the United States, would violate section 2241 or 2242 of this title) results, be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 25 years, or both, and
    3. if death results, be fined under this title or imprisoned for any number of years up to life, or both, or sentenced to death.
    1. Not to be a crank or anything, but why wasn’t this father described as a hero by JT for doing all he could to save his child’s life?

  10. I don’t know if Pennsylvania has the death penalty, but this is sure the time to use it.

      1. Squeeky – let me know what you think of the album. It is certainly ambitious. If you like it, I will track down a copy.

          1. Squeeky – I could tolerate that, I tolerated Phillip Glass. 🙂 However, I couldn’t listen to that and get any work done.

                  1. Squeeky – I am not sure if it is recorded, but I have friend who went to a concert where Phillip sat at the piano for 15 minutes and he and the orchestra did nothing. Best thing I have every heard Glass do. 😉

  11. Has there ever been an era where the comments (apart from mine) at this site have been sane and rational?

I do have to say it’s cases like this that make me rethink my position on the death penalty.

  12. Not much can be said here that hasn’t been said so many times before. There is a deadly scourge living in this country and nothing is going to change that. The older brother had seven prior arrests, but was still out roaming the streets looking for victims. White liberals who live in places like Philly and D.C. are literally playing Russian Roulette with their lives. It’s just a matter of times before they lose.

    1. Most White Liberals love to talk about diversity and inclusion while living in exclusive neighborhoods and sending their kids to private schools. All while condemning ordinary people for engaging in White flight.

I have absolutely zero sympathy for any White Liberal similarly situated who has a close, personal encounter with “diversity”.

Seems all of that liberals previous virtual signaling is of no help when some “diversity” comes calling.

      1. Seems all of that liberals previous virtue signaling is of no help when some “diversity” comes calling.

  13. It is white people’s fault this happened and black people need some more free stuff to compensate.

    1. No problem – today’s news is reporting arrests for looting in Miami, and the photos show the arrestees as the usual suspects.

  14. I suggest that these same intelligent, thoughtful, and tolerant White Liberals have a look at “The Color of Crime” which is available from http://www.amren.com.

Political correctness is pretending not to notice.

  15. Always right? Let’s go cherry picking!

“I am certainly not an advocate for frequent and untried changes in laws and constitutions. I think moderate imperfections had better be borne with; because, when once known, we accommodate ourselves to them, and find practical means of correcting their ill effects. But I know also, that laws and institutions must go hand in hand with the progress of the human mind. As that becomes more developed, more enlightened, as new discoveries are made, new truths disclosed, and manners and opinions change with the change of circumstances, institutions must advance also, and keep pace with the times. We might as well require a man to wear still the coat which fitted him when a boy, as civilized society to remain ever under the regimen of their barbarous ancestors.” – Jefferson to H. Tompkinson (AKA Samuel Kercheval), July 12, 181610

    1. “…amendments…of such a nature as will not injure the constitution,…”

      James Madison

Proposed Amendments to the Constitution, June 8, 1789

” And if there are amendments desired, of such a nature as will not injure the constitution, and they can be ingrafted so as to give satisfaction to the doubting part of our fellow citizens; the friends of the federal government will evince that spirit of deference and concession for which they have hitherto been distinguished.”
      ____________________________________________________________________________________

The Ten Commandments and fundamental law require no modification or amendment.

      They were always right.

      They are always right.

      They will always be right.

      “…to ourselves and our posterity,…”

  16. They were always right.

    Naturalization Acts of 1790, 1795 and 1802 –

    “…free white person,…”

“Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled, That any Alien being a free white person, who shall have resided within the limits and under the jurisdiction of the United States for the term of two years, may be admitted to become a citizen thereof on application to any common law Court of record in any one of the States wherein he shall have resided for the term of one year at least, and making proof to the satisfaction of such Court that he is a person of good character, and taking the oath or affirmation prescribed by law to support the Constitution of the United States,”

    Thomas Jefferson –

“Suppose 20 millions of republican Americans thrown all of a sudden into France, what would be the condition of that kingdom? If it would be more turbulent, less happy, less strong, we may believe that the addition of half a million of foreigners to our present numbers would produce a similar effect here.”

    Alexander Hamilton –

“The influx of foreigners must, therefore, tend to produce a heterogeneous compound; to change and corrupt the national spirit; to complicate and confound public opinion; to introduce foreign propensities. In the composition of society, the harmony of the ingredients is all-important, and whatever tends to a discordant intermixture must have an injurious tendency.”

    Abraham Lincoln –

“If all earthly power were given me,” said Lincoln in a speech delivered in Peoria, Illinois, on October 16, 1854, “I should not know what to do, as to the existing institution [of slavery]. My first impulse would be to free all the slaves, and send them to Liberia, to their own native land.” After acknowledging that this plan’s “sudden execution is impossible,” he asked whether freed blacks should be made “politically and socially our equals?” “My own feelings will not admit of this,” he said, “and [even] if mine would, we well know that those of the great mass of white people will not … We can not, then, make them equals.”5
