D.C. Police Post Video Of Savage Attack On Tourist At The Washington Hilton

The Washington Hilton Hotel (where Ronald Reagan was shot) was the scene of a savage beating of a tourist by a dozen youths at the entrance of the hotel in broad daylight. The brazen attackers exhibited little concern that they would be stopped, let alone arrested, as they took turns kicking, hitting, and spitting on the man. Police have released pictures and the video in the hopes of identifying the attackers.

The Hotel at 1919 Connecticut Avenue and T Street, NW is in the heart of the restaurant and tourist area. It is the location of the annual White House Correspondents Dinner and part of the popular Dupont Circle area.

The video shows the victim walking with another man toward the entrance of the hotel when a group of young males and females jump out and attack them. They pile on the victim and then punch his friend when he tries to intervene. No hotel security can be seen which is quite surprising.

Screen images:

The vicious of the attack of the attack is shocking including a girl who runs back to spit on the man. The obvious dangerousness of these young people is manifest. This is not some youthful indiscretion. It shows an utter lack of empathy, restraint, and humanity. The fact that this could happen at the very entrance of one of the most popular hotels in Washington is chilling.

The victim was left with head injuries and an injury to his left eye.

  1. Take a closer look at the video…they’re stomping on his head. By 21 seconds he’s unconscious, but the beating continues and there’s a final stomp on his head at 00:26. That looks like attempted murder, not assault/battery.

  2. see how the women are kicking the man when he is down too? remember that. nits make lice.

  3. the thugs were black. was the victim white? looked like it to me.

is everyone evading that obvious fact?

    1. I couldn’t tell about the victim. In a random municipality with DC’s demographics, you’d expect about 85% of the perpetrators of violent offenses to be black. Could be more, could be less.

      1. the perps were obviously black and the forearms of the victim looked white. we will find out I am sure. even though the lugenpress will try and hide the truth

      1. oh, it matters. fools convince themselves it doesn’t, and regular people know better.

        here chew on some facts

        _______________________
        Interracial crime
In 2013, of the approximately 660,000 crimes of interracial violence that involved blacks and whites, blacks were the perpetrators 85 percent of the time. This meant a black person was 27 times more likely to attack a white person than vice versa. A Hispanic was eight times more likely to attack a white person than vice versa.
        Urban centers
In 2014 in New York City, a black was 31 times more likely than a white to be arrested for murder, and a Hispanic was 12.4 times more likely. For the crime of “shooting”—defined as firing a bullet that hits someone—a black was 98.4 times more likely than a white to be arrested, and a Hispanic was 23.6 times more likely.
If New York City were all white, the murder rate would drop by 91 percent, the robbery rate by 81 percent, and the shootings rate by 97 percent.
In an all-white Chicago, murder would decline 90 percent, rape by 81 percent, and robbery by 90 percent.
        Police shootings
In 2015, a black person was 2.45 times more likely than a white person to be shot and killed by the police. A Hispanic person was 1.21 times more likely. These figures are well within what would be expected given race differences in crime rates and likelihood to resist arrest.
In 2015, police killings of blacks accounted for approximately 4 percent of homicides of blacks. Police killings of unarmed blacks accounted for approximately 0.6 percent of homicides of blacks. The overwhelming majority of black homicide victims (93 percent from 1980 to 2008) were killed by blacks.

statistics like these are daily borne out in anecdotal evidence. this is just another episode

willful failure to draw reasonable conclusions? what do you people call that?

is that foolishness, stupidity or what?

I tell you why I can’t be a white supremacist. White people are stupid. I think our average IQ is mis-measured and perhaps we are at least five or ten points lower in reality.

Most white folks are believers in tropes and slogans, instead of observable facts. Especially the longer they spend at “university,” can’t seem to grasp the significance of patterns like these.

A population which can’t grasp threats to its safety and survival, will eventually be weeded out by Nature.

Because I believe white folks are now generally too stupid to see the obvious truth of black crime statistics. I think they are inferior, to whatever groups do get the picture, and eventually, white people will be extinguished by forces of natural selection. If whites were smarter, they would see the truth, plain as day and night, and reorganize somethings to ensure their own safety better than they have done so far. However, it seems late in the day and unlikely to happen.

It’s disconcerting to be a white guy and realize how unfit your own kind has become in strictly evolutionary terms.

        1. “It’s disconcerting to be a white guy and realize how unfit your own kind has become in strictly evolutionary terms.” – Kurtz

Maybe you’ll have more empathy for non-whites, now, but no — that’ll never happen.

          1. nonwhites is a big group. I have my preferences among them too. Empathy is reserved for those I prefer and can identify with in my own way, permanently wandering far from home like Odysseus

        2. If you hone in further and look at sadistic crimes(burning people alive, etc) the numbers get even worse.

It’s not that white people are too stupid to tell the truth, but that they feel guilt and are afraid to look at reality.

          1. they are too conditioned by improper education which is the fault of who?
            white elites

agreement on the necessity of purging the white elites, would be the first task of any truly “racist” white social-political movement.

if whites can’t police and repopulate their leadership caste with less corrupt actors, then we are doomed.

one reason I like Trump is that he enrages the elites. He is not just a populist, he is a hardened leader strongly intent on provoking and beating his snooty adversaries.

However, Trump is old, and the resistance to modestly wise measures such as the “wall” coming from the elites in the federal bureaucracy and courts has shocked me with its suicidal tenacity. I think we are probably doomed.

I am not the first. Further reading:
Man and Technology: A Contribution to a Philosophy of Life is a short book by Oswald Spengler

          2. Ivan i might add that white people as a group are not only stupid about these things, they are cowardly. They are afraid, ironically, most of all, of the opprobrium of others. And this is where they key aspect is control of mass media and social media and whatever influences the masses.

Economic control is also key. Especially in America where so much is measured by income and shiny baubles. The tools of civil rights in employment law and the more recent innovations like “doxxing” have been deployed to whip low and middle income white folks into submission.

Education, as I said, a rotten experience rife with indoctrination.

There has never been a more subtle, effective, and pervasive system of social control than contemporary America. the Soviets only could dream of what exists here now.

The parasitical 1% upper managerial and capitalist strata of white people are not a burden so much on colored Americans, they are a burden on white americans. The spoils system has squeezed the middle of white America so badly and it keeps on doing it. This is what lead to Trump and why Trump has a pretty good chance of winning again.

After him, what? Eventually the system will win, and yet even if not, not too far out, we will face a new Frankenstein, artificial general intelligence. It will be a tool of unimaginable power that comes into the ownership and initial control of the existing elites which are a despicable lot of gutless, spineless, selfish, wicked profiteers and perverts. It’s almost a sure thing that whatever they use AGI for in the beginning will be bad.

What is healthy will become unhealthy and what is strong will become weak. That is the transvaluation of all morals in the modern world that has been underway for a century or so already and it will get worse, apace. This is not pessimism it is just realism.

Oh I’ll tell you one more thing. Global warming is no lie. it is for real. Carbon tax and all the usual Democrat stupidity is no way to address it, and the causes are complicated and not precisely understood. But….

the phenomenon is completely real and there is an ongoing and interrelated incidence of ecosystem collapse worsening in more and more interrelated spots all over the world. These may culminate in rapid crises. A lot of these crises will unfold in the third world coastal areas. they will lead to massive migration from the South and equatorial regions to the more industrialized areas. The Syrian drought, civil war, and migration to Europe was the harbinger of this. It will happen more, you will see.

In short if we can’t control our border now, just wait 10-15 years and the storm will become a hurricane, a deluge. There will not be enough bullets on hand to shoot the invaders including the meek and innocent, even if such a hard hearted order is given.

What kind of thinking is needed to address all these situations is not being cultivated in universities and not in business either. Trump at least has given some examples of strong leadership of the kind that people need to learn from when more precipitous crises are at hand. The kind of leadership that at the very least knows what action would look like and can communicate it, even if it hasnt quite got the power yet to deliver. One day, if we survive, we will look back on Trump and say he was an inspiration, even if he didn’t really accomplish all that much.

            If we survive. Big if.

    2. You can’t miss it. They should have seen it coming and reacted much faster. You don’t travel to these dangerous areas and not be familiar with the wildlife.

    3. I guess that a black mob of two legged animals beating a white man close to death is not considered a hate crime. If this situation were reversed it would have been the lead story on every news channel.
Why is it that a white person being viciously attacked by black criminals is not news worthy.
      White shaming
      Reverse racism
We need a white Al Sharpton to stand up and speak out when something like this occurs
It’s not only black lives that matter
      We all matter

      1. I can explain about the media and university in one fell swoop. but, I’m going to sound like a communist on this one instead of a racist.

the mass media are owned by the richest of the rich. owned in the sense of having controlling voting share blocks that can elect officers and directors., who can set the editorial line.

the universities are endowed by this same plutocracy

the purpose of the very very rich is exemplified by geo soros. the idea is to bully the white american middle class into submission

because they are the only social group that is powerful enough to come together in the dangerous experiment that is democracy and TAKE STUFF

they want to focus on bullying that white majority so that it is beleaguered and does not do anything to imperil the agenda, such as by bringing national borders back to impede the “Free flow of labor” which is what they call mass migration

the seemingly “leftist” agenda of the mass media and the unversities actually fits the interest of that top ten of the 1 percent quite well

we can see the same dynamic in play with regard to social media and silicon valley robber barons

  4. Where does this type of violent behavior come from? I have an answer:

“Donald Trump is a guy who you understand he hurts you, and my testosterone sometimes makes me want to feel like punching him, which would be bad for this elderly, out-of-shape man that he is if I did that — this physically weak specimen,” __Cory Booker

  5. D.C. Police Post Video Of Savage Attack On Tourist At The Washington Hilton

This is a very difficult lesson for all law abiding persons to learn.

Each and every person needs to understand they are responsible for their own safety at all times (even on vacation).

Police officers rarely stop any crimes in progress; they are, however, very adept at writing reports after a crime has occurred.

God created man and Samuel Colt made them equal ~ Unknown attribution

Mayhap The Washington Hilton will hire armed security guards and post them at the front entrance 24/7/365 so as their guests may enjoy their visits without a beat down (or worse) by the feral bands of savage youths roaming the streets of Washington DC.

In short – always be prepared to defend yourself, your family and or your property at all times – otherwise you may end up another in a long procession of victims.

    1. Antifa not confronted/arrested by police; restrained police doused with water and assaulted in NYC; and now this. “Appeasement only makes the aggressor more aggressive.” – Dean Rusk

      1. that water dousing the police was a sophisticated insurrectionist provocation.

a crime of battery but a seemingly “inoffensive” one; one that seeks to provoke a harsh response

the “urban youths” have moved into Nat Turner insurrection posture.

But this is the same generation that was taught Nat Turner was a “hero” in school

  6. Remember the words of the great leader former Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake “we also gave those who wished to destroy space to do that as well”

  7. This is chilling indeed. I would surmise there had been a verbal exchange between this man and the youths further out on the public sidewalk. The man probably headed towards the hotel entrance figuring it would be a safety island. He was half-right. There were cameras to capture this incident.

It’s easy to blame Hotel Security for their absence here. But one can see how quickly this incident went down. The nearest Security Officer could have been in the lobby and still arrived a minute too late.

  8. scene of a savage beating of a tourist by a dozen youths at the entrance of the hotel in broad daylight.

According to the link you provided the attackers knew the victims and it happened at 1 AM on a Sunday. nothing good happens at that time of the night. Concealed carry licenses issued by any of the 50 States are not recognized hence DC has no reciprocity whatsoever. That is the other crime here

    1. How about a guard with a gun at the entrance? But that would cost too much… — and give the wrong impression.

    1. Absolutely right. Violence like this never happens in places where Republicans are in control.

      1. Republicans dominate rural and small town government and have an advantage in suburban loci. Homicide, robbery, and aggravated assault are pretty unusual in those places. I lived for years in a county where the robbery rate was about 7 per 100,000. The robbery rate nationally is 98 per 100,000. Violent crime is vastly more common in core cities, which are run by Democrats. Now, the fact that Democrats run them is one of a number of vectors influencing social relations and not necessarily the most important one. It is, however, one of consequence.

New York City had fantastic success in restoring public order over the period running from 1990 to 2010. The men responsible had no affiliation with the Democratic Party.

        1. Yes, people check to see who’s in office and then decide to act or not act violently.

And cities would be far safer if these teens also had easier access to handguns.

          1. No, who is in office influences police staffing, police priorities, and police procedure, and the institutional culture of the police department, all of which influence the frequency of violent crime.

You’re either playing dumb or it’s not an act.

          2. sarcastic remarks from a fool named Dave

Many sarcastic fools live in a big city. One day, the megapolises will sink into chaos. The armed forces of civilization will cordon them off and contain the insanity, and let it rot, “Escape from New York” style. Inside, people will get hungry. The bleeding hearts of today will on that day, become the sauteed hearts.

        2. Chinatown in New York has very little violent crime. I might observe the obvious: they also don’t have as many black “teens”

  9. “Crazy Abe’s” opinions represented well those of the “…great mass of white people.”

“Crazy Abe” Lincoln was crazy with reference to the Constitution, his vitiation of the legislative and judicial branches and his seizure of power but he fully understood that oil and water will never mix, notwithstanding the forced amalgam created by contemporary emulsifiers imposed by communists: Generational welfare, affirmative action, quotas, food stamps, forced busing, utility subsidies, WIC, TANF, HAMP, HARP, HUD, HHS, Obongocare, Social Security Disability, Medicaid, etc., etc., etc.

“If all earthly power were given me,” said Lincoln in a speech delivered in Peoria, Illinois, on October 16, 1854, “I should not know what to do, as to the existing institution [of slavery]. My first impulse would be to free all the slaves, and send them to Liberia, to their own native land.” After acknowledging that this plan’s “sudden execution is impossible,” he asked whether freed blacks should be made “politically and socially our equals?” “My own feelings will not admit of this,” he said, “and [even] if mine would, we well know that those of the great mass of white people will not … We can not, then, make them equals.”

  10. This is what happens when we are told that everything is someone else’s fault and that laws don’t matter. The rot starts at the top.

    1. No, the rot starts with people like you. The Democratic presidential candidates are falling all over each other to tell their constituency that the priority of law enforcement should be to be deferential to slum hoodlums and replace punishment (which they call ‘mass incarceration’) with social work. The president bears no responsibility for this mentality. Democratic voters do.

      1. This is absurd x X on July 25, 2019 at 3:13 PM

        But here are the facts:

The rot DOES start at the top. And we ALL bear responsibility for the current state of affairs. And that includes you.

        1. Hello, JanF. As we discussed last time, your opinions are not facts. Only facts are facts. And the responsibility for law enforcement rests primarily with local government and secondarily with state government. The federal government meddles a great deal, but doesn’t improve much unless it restricts itself to offering technical assistance.

              Here is how:

              Feast of Saint James, Apostle

We hold this treasure in earthen vessels,
that the surpassing power may be of God and not from us.
              We are afflicted in every way, but not constrained;
              perplexed, but not driven to despair;
              persecuted, but not abandoned;
              struck down, but not destroyed;
always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus,
so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our body.
For we who live are constantly being given up to death
              for the sake of Jesus,
so that the life of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

So death is at work in us, but life in you.
Since, then, we have the same spirit of faith,
according to what is written, I believed, therefore I spoke,
we too believe and therefore speak,
knowing that the one who raised the Lord Jesus
will raise us also with Jesus
and place us with you in his presence.
              Everything indeed is for you,
so that the grace bestowed in abundance on more and more people
may cause the thanksgiving to overflow for the glory of God.

                1. Beautiful. thanks for posting.

You’re very welcome. Most people (not engaged on internet wars) are looking for substance, purpose and meaning. God does that for us at home. Though we are imperfect and fail almost hourly, we think what is important is to get back up, pray for Grace and go forward. We are in good company!

We know that the law is spiritual; but I am carnal, sold into slavery to sin. What I do, I do not understand. For I do not do what I want, but I do what I hate. Now if I do what I do not want, I concur that the law is good. So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that good does not dwell in me, that is, in my flesh. The willing is ready at hand, but doing the good is not.k
For I do not do the good I want, but I do the evil I do not want.
Now if do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. So, then, I discover the principle that when I want to do right, evil is at hand. For I take delight in the law of God, in my inner self, l but I see in my members another principle at war with the law of my mind, taking me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.* Miserable one that I am! Who will deliver me from this mortal body? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Therefore, I myself, with my mind, serve the law of God but, with my flesh, the law of sin.

Precise thinking always shows through with precise language and that absence is the essence of my complaint with your commentary. Your statement above is not a fact but merely your opinion. You may believe “rot starts at the top” and “we all bear responsibility” but those are not objective facts and not subject to determination through rational proof. It’s just your opinion. All opinions are valid but some are better than others. Yours here is in “The Guy Wearing the Sandwich Board That Says ‘The End is Nigh'” category: interesting to some perhaps but most unlikely and not subject to proof in advance.

          1. Yes, you’re right. My mistake, mespo727272…and I stand corrected.

            Having said this:

(Shouldn’t you be ordering those flags?)

            1. Got one flag for me and one for you. You’ll come around soon enough. I see bandwagon jumper between the lines of your prose.

            2. “The rot DOES start at the top.”

Does the rot start at the top? How did it get there?

Yes, the culture of an organization is heavily influenced by the leadership, but in government, it is all of us who choose the leadership.

  11. Roving packs of feral teens is unfortunately not unusual in D.C. They attack tourists and residents, storm into stores in Georgetown and take what they want, and have little to nothing to fear. Even if they are arrested, the liberal judges in D.C. will promptly return them to their single mothers who have already ceded all discipline and control. They’ll be out roaming the streets again in short order. That’s why the vast majority of people who work in D.C. live in Virginia or Maryland. Including Prof. Turley.

    1. You can bisect DC geographically. The homicide rate in one half is about 2.5 per 100,000. The homicide rate in the other is 30 per 100,000. Robbery may be a more evenly distributed phenomenon. DC’s made a certain amount of progress in the last 25 years (the homicide rate is 1/4 what it once was), but there’s still a great deal of room for improvement.

My guess is that the attack wasn’t random and someone may grass them up anonymously. Long prison terms for all of them would be agreeable.

      1. “My guess is that the attack wasn’t random and someone may grass them up anonymously. ”

It wasn’t random, according to some reports. And there may have been another victim. One witness reports hearing an attacker shouting something like, “That’s him. Let’s get him.”

This is the America that we’ve all helped to make.

        1. I haven’t helped with this, so speak for yourself. The overwhelming majority of people bear no responsibility for this sort of thing.

          1. “I haven’t helped with this”

            And, shamefully, neither have I.

            Am I my brother’s keeper?

I am to love my neighbor as myself.

            Who is my neighbor?

              1. No. That is not just.

Please see the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th Amendments in particular.

  12. The image of KKK lynch mobs killing blacks is in the national consciousness. And we are reminded of it every day by the press and by professional race baiters.

The reality is that whites today are far more likely to be attacked by black mobs than the reverse.

    Time to recognize reality.

And the Pinkos will call me a racist, but that is a distraction from the truth.
