Former Vice President Joe Biden has been hammered for the windfall contracts given to his son, Hunter, in Ukraine and China when Biden was making critical trade and aid decisions. Now, in an attempt that should have resulted in a chorus of condemnation (but barely registered in the media), the Biden campaign asked the networked to stop allowing Giuliani on the air. It makes considerable hubris to make such a request and it should have been denounced. However, just last week, MSNBC cut off a press conference of President Donald Trump because it declared that he was just going to lie.
It does not matter that Giuliani is a major player in this unfolding controversy and his comments are major news. Biden wants networks to stop him from accusing the Biden family of profiteering during his time as Vice President.
I have previously written how the Biden allegation raises legitimate questions over the effort to influence the Vice President through his son.
According to The Daily Beast, Biden aides Kate Bedingfield and Anita Dunn wrote NBC News, CBS News, Fox News and CNN to object to how they “continue to book Rudy Giuliani on your air to spread false, debunked conspiracy theories on behalf of Donald Trump.”
It is simply astonishing that the Biden campaign would try to silence a critic and argue that “by giving him your air time, you are allowing him to introduce increasingly unhinged, unfounded and desperate lies into the national conversation.”
I have been very critical of Giuliani but the letter reflects an expectation that media will align itself with Biden on the merits of a controversy. Given MSNBC’s decision, it is easy to see why such an expectation has been created by the coverage of these stories.
The Washington Post changed the motto on its masthead to “Democracy Dies In Justice” after their candidate lost the 2016 Presidential election. That motto mocks that paper now, for they have sold their journalistic honor cheaply.
Every news organization which has not treated Biden’s demand with the contempt it deserves is his accomplice in drawing the hood over their viewers’ and readers’ eyes.
Remember when White House Comms Director Anita Dunn and Barack Obama declared “war” on Fox News? Yep, Biden, the Dems, Anita Dunn, et al — they want to “control ALL media”….they want to control “the narrative”… don’t let them get away with it. How many journalists has Trump admin gone after by spying and actually jailing them? That’d be zero. Verbal attacks from Trump? That’s nothing compared to what the Obama admin did to journalists.

Biden’s team is trying to shut down the dissemination of damaging information. If the media cooperates with a campaign, their efforts should be considered campaign contributions.
The media is trying to affect voting behavior. Another example, as Professor Turley previously noted, was when MSNBC shut down the President’s explanation in his own defense, denying viewers the information.
If a media outlet is biased, it should advertise itself as such. There is a difference between straight news and op ed. I prefer straight news, as well as discussions that include all points of view.

Biden needs to make up his mind. Does he want the airtime or not? When a FoxNews reporter asked him a question, Biden went on a rant telling the reporter and everyone else that they should be asking Trump questions. Hmm? So why does he want the media not to give Trump’s personal lawyer airtime?

Biden is done in this Presidential campaign. It will take a while for the media to realize that the public has now been exposed to enough of his scandals. He clearly lied.
A photo has surfaced of Joe Biden golfing with not only Hunter but also Devon Archer, who also was on the board.
In addition while Biden has claimed that Shokin, who was fired after Biden blackmailed the Ukraine into doing so by illegally threatening to withhold appropriated funds from the Ukrainian government — and while Biden claims that threat was made and the action taken due to Shokin’s “corruption” the fired prosecutor has an affidavit circulating, which Rudy Giuliani has, that states — under oath — that he was investigating Hunter Biden at the time he was canned and that he was fired because he refused to drop the case.

It explicitly not only authorizes it requires that both the US and Ukraine cooperate in criminal matters including arrests, seizures, searches, detentions and similar actions where the action in question would be a crime in the other jurisdiction. Therefore seeking to enforce same by the US Executive, which Trump who Pompeo had on the call is explicitly lawful and authorized by said treaty while Biden’s interference with same, which I remind you he has admitted to and bragged about in a CFR speech, was a prohibited act.

There is also apparent documentation that Hunter’s “Chinese-funded” pile of cash he was allowed to manage was put into this hands for the specific purpose of accessing “the networks” that Hunter Biden had.

Guiliani keeps showing with these affidavits saying that Joe is lying through is teeth. If I were Joe, I would want him censored, too. However, now the House wants to talk to him and see the documents. He has been teasing the networks, only showing two but claiming four more. This gets curiouser and curiouser.
If only Hilary won in 2016. Then we wouldn’t have to go through all these inquiries into unethical and illegal activities of our elected officials.
