Disinformation By Popular Demand: How The Authenticity of Hunter’s Laptop Became Immaterial

Yesterday, former Vice President Joe Biden was again insisting that the scandal involving Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation despite the direct refutation of that claim by the FBI. No mainstream reporter bothered to ask the simple question of whether this was his son’s laptop and emails, including emails clearly engaging in an influence peddling scheme and referring to Joe Biden’s knowledge.  Instead, media has maintained a consistent and narrow focus. Indeed, in her interview, Leslie Stahl immediately dismissed any “scandal” involving Hunter in an interview with the President on 60 Minutes. It was an open example of what I previously noted in a column: “After all, an allegation is a scandal only if it is damaging. No coverage, no damage, no scandal.”

In her interview with Joe Biden, CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell did not push Biden to simply confirm that the emails were fake or whether he did in fact meet with Hunter’s associates (despite his prior denials). Instead O’Donnell asked: “Do you believe the recent leak of material allegedly from Hunter’s computer is part of a Russian disinformation campaign?”

Biden responded with the same answer that has gone unchallenged dozens of times:

“From what I’ve read and know the intelligence community warned the president that Giuliani was being fed disinformation from the Russians. And we also know that Putin is trying very hard to spread disinformation about Joe Biden. And so when you put the combination of Russia, Giuliani– the president, together– it’s just what it is. It’s a smear campaign because he has nothing he wants to talk about. What is he running on? What is he running on?”

It did not matter that the answer omitted the key assertion that this was not Hunter’s laptop or emails or that he did not leave the computer with this store.

Recently, Washington Post columnist Thomas Rid  wrote said the quiet part out loud by telling the media:  “We must treat the Hunter Biden leaks as if they were a foreign intelligence operation — even if they probably aren’t.”

Let that sink in for a second. It does not matter if these are real emails and not Russian disinformation. They probably are real but should be treated as disinformation even though American intelligence has repeatedly rebutted that claim.  It does not even matter that the computer has seized the computer as evidence in a criminal fraud investigation or that a Biden confidant is now giving his allegations to the FBI under threat of criminal charges if he lies to investigators.

It simply does not matter. It is disinformation because it is simply inconvenient to treat it as real information.

  1. What “doesn’t matter” apparently is that your third from last sentence makes no grammatical sense. Do you proofread things before you publish them Jonathan? Did you even write this yourself?

I don’t know why you’re even wading into this at this moment. Do you have some particular criminal investigation expertise that we don’t know about? Is there a reason for Jonathan Turley to even be in the mix on this right now? I’m hard-pressed to see it short of media opportunism,(which I think we all have enough of these days).

Shouldn’t we let the investigators determine what’s there and the public quit speculating until we have some real information? I mean this has all the hallmarks of a last-minute election scam. And they’ve had the computer since last May so why is it just coming out now? But I say everybody just shut up and wait until the investigators tell us what’s up. That’s the only fair thing for everyone.

    1. Anon: “. . . until the investigators tell us what’s up.”

You mean like the suddenly mute journalistic investigators?

Woodward and Bernstein are calling. They want their journalism back.

  2. The Washington Post writer said that “we must say that the Hunter Biden emails are Russian disinformation even if it’s not true”. What he was really saying was, we must feed this narrative to the Democratic base (Anonymous of the left) to keep them under our control. Ethics be damned.

    1. “…to keep them under our control.”

this is the sad truth….that the media/Dem disinformation campaign, to intentionally withhold information from their viewers….in order to manipulate their viewpoints and keep them dumbed down and pliable….and intentionally ill-informed, misinformed, and disinformed is a disgrace and an abuse of their power. Wake up, you sheeple!!

  3. This point by Dr. Turley uses their own words to illustrate the media bias against Donald Trump. The full list would include the media, Never Trumpers, the Left, Wall Street, and Social Media. Why would all of these power centers join together to cause his downfall. Donald Trump ran for office to defy the complete control that all of these power centers hold over the American people. They thought he was just using populist rhetoric to get elected. When he actually started to enact policies that he had promised they started to lose their collective minds. Trump has rested their power away. They are fighting with any means necessary to get their power back. Let me reiterate “any means necessary”. If Trump was a Washington insider they would be demanding his reelection. The messure of a man can be judged by his enemies.

  4. What bothers me in this whole affair is that Biden has not denied the emails are not real and that the media is not taking this seriously. I have zero idea if this is real or not, but if this was Trump, you can bet your bottom dollar that there would be an investigation.

  5. Proof reading error? “It does not even matter that the computer has seized the computer as evidence in a criminal fraud investigation or that a Biden confidant is now giving his allegations to the FBI under threat of criminal charges if he lies to investigators.

  6. Since the Tuesday (one [1] day) election has been found to be “flexible,” early voting must similarly be found to be “flexible” when “new evidence” is proffered.

Perhaps the Supreme Court can clarify the constitutionality of a State approving or denying the right to vote and/or revote.

Perhaps the Supreme Court can be as “creative” with the revote as Justice Roberts was with the status of Obamacare and his commingling of the definitions of the words “state” and “federal” related to its exchanges.

    VARIANTS OF “REVOTE” LAW

    Wisconsin

In Wisconsin, according to a memo released by the Wisconsin Elections Commission for this year, “absentee voters can request to spoil their absentee ballot and have another ballot issued as long as the appropriate deadline to request the new absentee ballot has not passed. In addition, voters can request to have their returned absentee ballot spoiled and instead vote in person, either during the in-person absentee period or at their polling place on Election Day, but they must request their ballot be spoiled by the appropriate deadlines. Once that deadline has passed, a returned absentee ballot cannot be changed, and the voter cannot be issued another ballot on Election Day.”

    New York

“Even if you request or cast and return an absentee ballot, you may still go to the polls and vote in person. The Election Law recognizes that plans change. The Board of Elections is required to check the poll book before canvassing any absentee ballot. If the voter comes to the poll site, on Election Day or during early voting and votes in person, the absentee ballot is set aside and not counted,”

  7. Hunter “Blowfeld” Biden learns the hard way that “There is no honor among thieves”.

“I get calls from my father to tell me that The New York Times is calling but my old partner Eric, who literally has done me harm for I don’t know how long, is the one taking the calls because my father will not stop sending the calls to Eric. I have another New York Times reporter calling about my representation of Patrick Ho – the f*cking spy chief of China who started the company that my partner, who is worth $323 billion, founded and is now missing. The richest man in the world is missing who was my partner. He was missing since I last saw him in his $58 million apartment inside a $4 billion deal to build the f*cking largest f*cking LNG port in the world. And I am receiving calls from the Southern District of New York from the U.S. Attorney himself. My best friend in business Devon has named me as a witness without telling me in a criminal case and my father without telling me.”

What I love most about all of this is that the ChiCom’s have been totally exposed along with the Biden’s.

Knowing them as I do, there is no doubt that Pooh Bear doesn’t know whether to sh*t or go blind.

        1. Clueless – Trump was impeached for asking for a clearly justified investigation of the Biden’s.

I would further note that the use of government resources to leverage foreign governments to persue legitimate goals – even if they might also have political benefits can NEVER be bribery or pretty much every president since washington has been guilty of Bribery.

By the theory you are arguing VP Biden’s threat to withold $1B in loan guarantees would be bribery – even if his son no dealings in Ukraine, and even if Shokin was corrupt.

The FACTS which you are blind to is that a president can ask – even threaten a foreign country to acheive a legitimate objective.

And like it or not there has ALWAYS been enough evidence to justify an investigation of the Biden’s and therefore the investigation request was legitimate.

Your claim that Trump attempted to bribe (or more accurately blackmail) the Ukraine is both false and irrelevant.

Or are you saying that Obama’s sanctions against Russia were bribery ? Or VP Biden’s demand to dire Shokin was prima fascia Bribery ?

You can not make Trump’s actions impeachable – without ensnaring Obama and Biden also.

As to the house – they are contemptible.

Regardless, you can not be in contempt of congress for refusing to comply with a demand of congress until a FINAL court determination (usually by SCOTUS) that demand is legitimate. The house is not both prosecutor, judge and jury in its own cases.

What should be self evident to leftists right now is that the evidence against the Biden’s condemn’s not merely Joe Biden – but every single democrat that voted for impeachment.

To most of us it was clear Trump’s actions met the low bar for demanding an investigation from the Ukraine.

But anyone today who does not grasp the that truth has their head in the sand.

Any democrat who voted for impeachment without first seeking to determine if Trump’s actions were justified is themselves politically corrupt and should not be re-elected.

The Hunter Biden laptop does not just implicate Joe Biden – it implicates the entire democratic congressional delegation.

And again – House and Senate democrats are clearly contemptible.

          1. Mr. Lynch, all literate people can read the articles of impeachment for themselves and see that your belief about it doesn’t correspond to what the articles of impeachment say in black and white.

            1. It’s not black and white. The sham impeachment was done to inflict political damage and create a spectacle. They failed.

You know what needs to happen? The media needs to start asking Joe Biden some real questions. When do you think that will happen? Never?

              1. Three words about VP Joe Biden’s family foreign dealings with China and other countries (while he was VP!) —> mind blowing corruption.

              2. I taped Tucker’s show so I could see it tonight. I saw it. There is no question that Joe Biden lied and the press is withholding evidence so the public remains unaware.

The emails that are confirmed to be real demonstrate the lie.

                1. Exactly. And, no surprise to hear this tonight from the Biden campaign —>

“Joe Biden will be hiding from reporters tomorrow following the explosive interview from a whistleblower who came forward with overwhelming evidence about the Biden family’s lies and foreign business dealings.” @mattwolking

“Biden isn’t traveling tomorrow. Instead, he’ll be focused on Covid, getting briefed by public health experts and then speaking on “his plans to beat COVID-19, lower health care costs, and protect Americans with pre-existing conditions,” his campaign says.” @jeneps

Wouldn’t it be nice if we had a media/press that actually did its job of reporting?? FAKE NEWS MEDIA IS THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE.

                  Trump is 100% correct.

                2. ‘Anyone have any remaining doubts about Joe Biden’s decision to blame an American president for covid instead of the Chinese Communists?’ @arthurschwartz

                3. Allan: “. . . the press is withholding evidence so the public remains unaware.”

Exactly. If there is any “disinformation” in this scandal, it’s the media’s disinformation by silence.

            2. The stated articles of impeachment failed because they did not “correspond” to reality and the law. Peelosi’s articles were fabricated just like the entire Russia probe.

          2. John doofus is clearly lacking both knowledge or principles in yet another apolgee for our scumbag of a president. It has been demonstrated that:

            1. Trump did not care about an actual investigation by the Ukrainians and said he’d be satisfied by Zelensjy just announcing one.

            2. We have procedures for investigating wrong doing and the involvement of the President in pursuing them against political rivals by weaponizing his power is corruption of the process, pure and simple. One expects even moral tadpoles like John to understand this.

          1. The scuttlebutt is that he has small and inconsequential events so as to cause minimum disruption in case of short-notice cancellations. There was one recently where he was videotaped on a platform making a speech and then you swing the camera and you can see he’s reading off an enormous TelePrompTer outside the field of vision of the cameras pointed at him. The media are madly covering for him, so no questions get asked as to why his handlers fly him hundreds of miles to address a room with 12 people in it or why he hides out for days on end or why he doesn’t give interviews. No one has attempted a front porch campaign in a century and no one has ever attempted to to conceal sundowning. The strategy seems to be working for them as much as any might.

            1. And are you amazed by the media *totally ignoring* that a whistleblower has publicly and credibly accused the Democratic presidential nominee of lying about selling access and influence to China and the story is a total blackout in the media?

            2. Anonymous most on the right realizes the election can go either way and are prepared to live our normal lives for the next 4 years. Those on the left that ignore facts will party but then have to face the reality that the economy under Trump would have been a lot better. The older ones that aren’t going to live that long will not face the hardships imposed by the left, but the younger ones will. Suddenly they will find that the government is strapped for money, and the economy is sluggish. The young that will struggle to find a good job will look at what they are paying to the government and push for Medicare to do what Medicare tried to do in the past. Only offer palliative care to the very old and those with expensive illnesses.

Obama wasn’t the first to suggest this (Paraphrasing what Obama said: ‘Maybe you shouldn’t get that pacemaker. You are old.) This was suggested many years before when Medicare wanted the VN to rate the quality of life but the disabled groups came forth and quashed that idea. The blind, deaf, or otherwise disabled suddenly found that they would start off with a low rating and thereby be discriminated against where healthcare was concerned.

Worse than that, should Biden win, would be what happens to our children and grandchildren who will be faced by an America that hates itself where racism rebounds with hate. Their economic standing will be much lower and they will be facing all sorts of problems. Energy taxes and the like that will be regressive.

The above is just a hint of the future. Biden won’t hurt me or my family. I prepared my family so that they will have what they need. Will yours?

        2. Trump was impeached for the purposes of political opposition, fraud by a political party and hoaxing an electorate and nation.

Trump was FULLY EXONERATED OF EVEN A BILLIONTH OF A SCINTILLA OF A CONCEPT OF WRONGDOING by the august, deliberative United States Senate.

            1. He was exonerated.

              You are hysterical and incoherent.

Ask yourself if he was convicted.

              Answer: No.

              Ergo, he was exonerated.

              He was exonerated.

              He was impeached.

That impeachment was nullified and expunged and abrogated.

              He was exonerated.

              Next question.

        3. What brain dead Peelosi called “contempt of Congress” judicial scholars including Turley called Peelosi impeaching too soon: she could and should have waited for the SCOTUS to rule on Trump’s lawsuit that Peelosi was just on a fishing expedition which she was.

Indeed, per Peelosi Trump as POTUS had no right to refuse Peelosi’s evidence demands and wait for SCOTUS to rule. The mere act of refusing Peelosi caused her to charge him with “contempt.”

  8. Hunter Biden’s 2017 rant about Burisma: ‘I’m fighting for the only income I have left’
Joe Biden’s son suggested lucrative Ukrainian pay was in jeopardy after father left office.

After his father left office as vice president, Hunter Biden lamented to a business partner in spring 2017 that his lucrative and controversial relationship with the Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings was in danger of falling apart.

“I was fighting for the only income I have left right now from Burisma,” Hunter Biden wrote in a series of terse, f-bomb-laden text messages in June 2017 to Tony Bobulinski, the chief executive officer of a China-related venture the Biden family was creating at the time.

The messages were contained in dump of communications that Bobulinski, now a whistleblower to the Senate and FBI, made public in the last week. They were independently verified by Just the News with one of the recipients and provide fresh evidence that Hunter Biden’s business fortunes appeared in many ways tied to his father’s proximity to power.

Since 2014, Hunter Biden’s work as a board member for Burisma and its owner Mykola “Nikolais” Zlochevsky has generated controversy, in part because the Ukrainian gas firm was under corruption investigation at the same time then-Vice President Biden oversaw U.S. anti-corruption policy in Ukraine.

Records obtained by the FBI show that Rosemont Seneca Bohai — a U.S. firm tied to Hunter Biden and his longtime business partner and fellow Burisma board member Devon Archer — received regular monthly payments totaling $166,666 from Burisma starting in 2014 and continuing into 2016. A Senate report last month concluded Hunter Biden and his partner received at least $4 million in payments from the Ukraine gas company.

  9. Joe Biden’s family corruption and foreign schemes is about “a lot MORE than Hunter Biden.”

“This is a story not just of greed, not just corruption. It’s actually a story of a total collapse of patriotism, of a willingness to take money from Ukraine, Russia, China…in ways that are astonishing.”

“Now, follow the evidence as Speaker Gingrich lays out clearly the story of the corruption in the Biden family, and the IMPLAUSIBLE notion that Vice President Biden wasn’t aware of what was going on.”

    1. Joe Biden is DISQUALIFIED from holding public office —->

Article I, section 3, clause 7 provides that “judgment in cases of impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from office, and DISQUALIFICATION to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust or profit under the United States.”

    2. Trump must be reelected. We will never have a stronger person to take on the Swamp of corruption that is Washington DC than Donald Trump. Go Trump!

  10. Hunter Biden, Burisma, and Corruption: The Impact on U.S. Government Policy and Related Concerns
U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs
U.S. Senate Committee on Finance Majority Staff Report

    XII. CONCLUSION.
As the Chairmen’s report details, Hunter Biden’s role on Burisma’s board negatively impacted the efforts of dedicated career-service individuals who were fighting to push for anticorruption measures in Ukraine. Because the vice president’s son had a direct link to a corrupt company and its owner, State Department officials were required to maintain situational awareness of Hunter Biden’s association with Burisma. Unfortunately, U.S. officials had no other choice but to endure the “awkward[ness]” of continuing to push an anticorruption agenda in Ukraine while the vice president’s son sat on the board of a Ukrainian company with a corrupt owner. As George Kent testified, he “would have advised any American not to get on the board of Zlochevsky’s company.”429 Yet, even though Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board cast a shadow over the work of those advancing anticorruption reforms in Ukraine, the Committees are only aware of two individuals who raised concerns to their superiors. Despite the efforts of these individuals, their concerns appear to have fallen on deaf ears.
Former Secretary Kerry’s December 2019 denial of having any knowledge about Hunter Biden or Burisma is inconsistent with the evidence uncovered by the Committees. Kerry was briefed about Hunter Biden, Burisma and Christopher Heinz the day after Burisma announced Hunter Biden joined its board. Additionally, Secretary Kerry’s senior advisor sent him press clips and articles relating to Hunter Biden’s board membership. This appears to be yet another example of high-ranking Obama administration officials blatantly ignoring Hunter Biden’s association with Burisma.
Several witnesses highlighted efforts to enable a successful investigation of Zlochevsky, and also noted that the U.S. decision to condition a $1 billion loan guarantee was made in part because of the then-Ukrainian prosecutor general’s failure to pursue a case against Zlochevsky. But at the end of the day, between 2014 through 2017, despite the concerted effort of many U.S. officials, not one of the three different Ukrainian prosecutor generals held Zlochevsky accountable.
The Obama administration and the Democrat lobby shop Blue Star Strategies had consistent and extensive contact with Andrii Telizhenko over a period of years. Yet despite these well-documented contacts with Democratic officials, Democrats have attempted to impugn this investigation for having received some Blue Star-related records from Telizhenko. Some Democrats have even (incorrectly) identified Telizhenko as the Committees’ “star witness.”430 Although he produced a small number of Blue Star-related records to the Committees, the
Ranking Member Peters and Ranking Member Wyden have access to these records but have refused to receive or review them. Had they done so, they would have observed that the State Department, National Archives, and Blue Star Strategies (after it received a subpoena) produced most of the same records to the Committees. They also would have noticed the emails and text messages that Blue Star failed to produce to the Committees.
Committees never interviewed him as part of this investigation.
    86
Even though almost all of the Committees’ records are from U.S. agencies and U.S. officials or persons, Democrats have repeatedly misconstrued the facts of this investigation and have smeared it as a Russian disinformation campaign. In doing so, they conveniently have ignored their own long history of meeting with Telizhenko and his yearlong work for a Democrat lobby shop. If Democrats are concerned that Telizhenko presents any risk of advancing disinformation, it is notable that the Ranking Members have not expressed any curiosity about his work with the Obama administration or Blue Star Strategies.
The records acquired by the Committees also show that Hunter Biden and his family were involved in a vast financial network that connected them to foreign nationals and foreign governments across the globe. Hunter Biden and Devon Archer, in particular, formed significant and consistent financial relationships with the corrupt oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky during their time working for Burisma, and their firms made millions of dollars from that association while Joe Biden was vice president and the public face of the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy. Rosemont Seneca Thornton, an investment firm co-founded by Hunter Biden, received $3.5 million in a wire transfer from Elena Baturina, who allegedly received illegal construction contracts from her husband, the then-mayor of Moscow. Moreover, Archer’s apparent receipt of money for a car from Kenges Rakishev of Kazakhstan while Vice President Biden was in Kyiv is especially concerning in light of the timing. And finally, Biden and Archer’s work with Chinese nationals connected to the Communist regime illustrate the deep financial connections that accelerated while Joe Biden was vice president and continued after he left office.
The Chairmen’s investigation has faced many obstacles from the minority and from executive agencies that have failed to comply with document requests. Accordingly, there remains much work to be done.

  14. Ganymede, Greek Ganymēdēs, Latin Ganymedes, or Catamitus, in Greek legend, the son of Tros (or Laomedon), king of Troy. Because of his unusual beauty, he was carried off either by the gods or by Zeus, disguised as an eagle, or, according to a Cretan account, by Minos, to serve as cupbearer. In compensation, Zeus gave Ganymede’s father a stud of immortal horses (or a golden vine).

The earliest forms of the myth have no erotic content, but by the 5th century BC it was believed that Ganymede’s kidnapper had a homosexual passion for him; Ganymede’s kidnapping was a popular topic on 5th-century Attic vases.

The English word catamite was derived from the popular Latin form of his name. He was later identified with the constellation Aquarius.

And, apparently, you are not aware of the howls of “fascism” when Trump merely talked about using federal agents to quell the riots.

            1. We shouldn’t forget that when Trump was permitted to help the problems stopped almost immediately. How fast did the EO by the President, jail for overturning statues etc., cause that type of action to stop?

              Anonymous is blissfully ignorant.

  16. ONE BIG REASON HUNTER BIDEN WON’T FACTOR:

    EARLY VOTING IS SHATTERING RECORDS

With one week still remaining until Election Day, Americans have already cast a record-breaking 66 million early ballots, putting the 2020 election on track for historic levels of voter turnout.

That’s some 19 million more pre-election votes than were cast in the 2016 election, according to the U.S. Elections Project, a turnout-tracking database run by University of Florida professor Michael McDonald.

McDonald calculates that nationally, voters have cast more than 48% of the total votes counted in the 2016 election.

“We continue to pile on votes at a record pace. We’ve already passed any raw number of early votes in any prior election in U.S. history,” McDonald told NPR on Monday.

Some states are quickly approaching their 2016 vote totals.

In Texas, for example, 7.8 million early votes had been cast as of Tuesday morning, marking 87% of the state’s total votes in 2016.

Montana, North Carolina, Florida and Georgia have also reached 67% or more of their 2016 vote totals.

McDonald cites Washington state as an example of the change in voter behavior this year since the state ran mostly all mail-in elections in both 2016 and 2020 under the same rules. As of Sunday, the state reports more than 2 million mail-in ballots have been returned, nearly three times the return rate in 2016.

Roberto Rodriguez, assistant deputy supervisor of elections in Florida’s Miami-Dade County, says 42% of voters there have already cast their ballots.

“Usually the story for a typical election in recent years has been that the early vote is Democratic and the Election Day vote is Republican,” he said. “And it looks as though we’re going to have the same story this year, and we’re going to have to wait to see what happens with that Election Day vote before we can really say what’s going to happen.”

But 2020 has brought a shift in the way in which people are voting early.

“Typically, when we talk about early voting, we’re talking about Democrats voting in person early and Republicans voting by mail,” McDonald said. “This election, those roles are reversed. But when you look at the overall electorate, there are many more people voting by mail than in person early in most states.”

The shift could be at least in part due to President Trump’s consistent false claims that voting by mail leads to widespread fraud, whereas Joe Biden’s campaign has been aggressive in urging supporters to vote early, whether in person or by mail.

Strategically, it’s helpful for campaigns to have voters cast their ballots early so they can use campaign resources more efficiently then to target less-motivated voters.

This is another example of Trump’s cynicism boomer-ranging on him. Trump made every effort possible to denigrate mail-in voting; even sabotaging the Post Office just for good measure. Consequently 66 million people thought: “Oh my God, I’d better get my vote out early”

    1. Whether it factors in the election, where it will “factor” is in our government, where a demonstrably corrupt person is going to be elected because the media is staffed by biased liars with no integrity. It’s probably impeachable, and come the midterms head will roll, or at minimum Biden gets one term setting up a redo of some other Trump style GOP clone.

Penn State, the ‘Sanctuary City for Paedophiles’, has for decades operated a child sex trafficking enterprise, grooming tens of thousands of innocent children for the sexual depravity of well connected politicians, wealthy donors, and high ranking university administrators, providing the university billions in profits. Penn State bribed former FBI Director Louis Freeh to whitewash the scandal, and then delivered several young boys to former Democratic Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell for his hideous depravity in exchange for the early release of Pedophile State from NCAA sanctions. 1. Here’s The New York Times with an informative video about the QAnon conspiracy.

The conspiracy is like a secret political cult in which far-right conservatives believe that child sex traffickers are operating quite openly with consent from powerful liberals. On the surface QAnon sounds almost comical in its ignorance. However the cult has wormed its way deep within the Republican party. So deep, that Donald Trump has declined to denounce QAnon.
