With Malice For All: The Lincoln Project Unleashes Attacks On Lawyers Who Represent The Trump Campaign . . . As It Runs A Commercial On The New Unity

The Lincoln Project is airing a commercial today celebrating the end of the politics of division and personal attacks as Twitter removed a tweet (with a skull-and-crossbones emoji) from The Lincoln Project that sought to target lawyers simply because they represent the Trump campaign. The crushing irony is magnified by the fact that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has called for liberals to start to assemble enemy lists of people who were “complicit” in the Trump Administration and the first entry was . . . you guessed it … the Republicans who founded the Lincoln Project. It is the reality of our doublespeak politics. Call it skull-and-crossbones civility.

The Lincoln Project called on its almost 3 million followers to hound and harass attorneys Carolyn McGee and Ronald Hicks for assisting the Trump team in its legal battle over mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania. The Lincoln Project tweeted, “Make them famous,” to its 2.7 million followers along with an emoji depicting a skull-and-crossbones.  This is the targeting of lawyers who are doing their professional jobs in representing a client and raising allegations of voter irregularities. The Lincoln Project is clearly trying to unleash a campaign of harassment to deter them or other lawyers from taking such cases. Rather than allow the courts to simply rule on such legal challenges, the Lincoln Project is trying to scare off the lawyers.

Twitter stated: “The Tweet referenced is in violation of the Twitter Rules on abusive behavior. The account owner will be required to delete the violative Tweet before regaining access to their account.”

At the same time, the Lincoln Project is airing a commercial of how we can finally “put people before politics” as they pursue people who are supporting Trump in court.

In the meantime, the members of Lincoln Project are being moved from the resistance to the reactionary category in the aftermath of the election. When asked about AOC’s call for a black list, Sanders surrogate Nomiki Konst helpfully noted that the first on the list would be people like the former Republicans in the Lincoln Project. She said that those people like George Conway are the “perfect examples” of people to be cancelled despite their work against Trump. That did not take long. After spending millions in support of Biden, Knost and AOC are calling for all such figures to be listed and held “accountable.”
The contrast is evident across the political spectrum as leaders herald Biden as the “healer” while denouncing Trump supporters. Former first lady Michelle Obama denounced “tens of millions of people voted for the status quo, even when it meant supporting lies, hate, chaos, and division.” Media figures have called Trump supporters racists and compared them to Nazis after the election while rejoicing that the era of personal division is over.
Lists are being compiled. The Trump Accountability Project, led by staffers who worked for former Mayor Pete Buttigieg and President Barack Obamais making lists of Trump administration officials to hound them out of any employment opportunities.   Former Obama spokesman Hari Sevugan proudly tweeted “WH staff are starting to look for jobs. Employers considering them should know there are consequences for hiring anyone who helped Trump attack American values.
For those members of the Lincoln Project, it may be useful to remember the holds of our 16th President: “With malice toward none; with charity for all; … let us strive on to finish the work we are in; to bind up the nation’s wounds…”

  1. The Lincoln Project became a comrade in arms with the Democrats to destroy President Trump. Now there new found comrades are adding there names to the list that are headed for the guillotine. I think we can find an apt example in the annals of French history. It was dangerous then and it’s dangerous now. Just nine days after the election the purge has begun. You are not exempt from the list. Don’t worry, you can learn to march to the tune. After all, you voted for the writers of the lyric.

  2. “Crazy” is a word that has broad or I’ll defined definition. To say that a human “is crazy as a lion” is defamatory to loons. In America we do have psychiatric definitions. Schizophrenia.
Manic depressive. Those are two. What is Trump? Ask your doctor. Do you have “a shrink”. Trump can be “wacko” but I do not see a clear category of mental illness.
Chime in folks. What do you think?

  3. Wait A Minute, This Was Predicted!

From Forbes Magazine, August 19, 2020

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany on Wednesday did little to reassure anyone President Trump won’t accept the November election results if he loses, an increasing concern considering his frequent and unproven claims that mail-in voting will cause mass voter fraud.

“The President has always said he’ll see what happens and make a determination in the aftermath,” McEnany said at a press briefing when asked if Trump will accept the election result.

Trump has frequently refused to commit to accepting the election results, telling Fox News host Chris Wallace in July, “I have to see,” and that “I’m not going to just say yes.”

Trump has begun to regularly claim expanded mail-in voting will lead to “massive electoral fraud and a rigged 2020 Election” — a charge frequently debunked by experts — causing observers to fear he won’t accept a losing result.

Trump told supporters in Oshkosh, Wisc., on Monday that the “only way” he could lose the election is if it is “rigged,” adding, “we have to be very careful.”

Asked by Axios reporter Jonathan Swan about accepting the results in an interview earlier this month, Trump deflected, arguing that his 2016 opponent Hillary Clinton “never accepted” and “still doesn’t accept,” losing, though Swan noted she conceded on election night.

Similar concerns about Trump refusing to accept the election abounded four years ago as well. A CNN/ORC poll in October 2016, shortly before the election, found that 61% voters believed Trump would accept the results and concede if he lost. Just 22% said the same of Clinton.

A bipartisan group of political strategists and government and military officials was reportedly concerned enough about Trump refusing to concede a loss to have gamed it out in June, the Boston Globe reported in July. “All of our scenarios ended in both street-level violence and political impasse,” Georgetown professor Rosa Brooks, who ran the exercise, told the Globe, adding, “The law is essentially… it’s almost helpless against a president who’s willing to ignore it.”

“He doesn’t have to win the election,” historian Niles Gilman, another co-organizer, told the Globe. “He just has to create a plausible narrative that he didn’t lose.”

    1. A Bi-Partisan Group Gamed-Out Scenario Where Trump Refused To Concede

As Reported By The Boston Globe July 19

On the second Friday in June, a group of political operatives, former government and military officials, and academics quietly convened online for what became a disturbing exercise in the fragility of American democracy.

The group, which included Democrats and Republicans, gathered to game out possible results of the November election, grappling with questions that seem less far-fetched by the day: What if President Trump refuses to concede a loss, as he publicly hinted recently he might do? How far could he go to preserve his power? And what if Democrats refuse to give in?

“All of our scenarios ended in both street-level violence and political impasse,” said Rosa Brooks, a Georgetown law professor and former Defense Department official who co-organized the group known as the Transition Integrity Project. She described what they found in bleak terms: “The law is essentially … it’s almost helpless against a president who’s willing to ignore it.”

      1. I just wish that those who comment were better students of history. Al Gore did not concede the election. He had a right to wait until the matter was adjudicated. The end of the nation was not eminate then nor is it eminate now. A bunch of hot air (ado) about nothing being voiced on these pages.

        1. If only thinkit, except Gore was not alleging fraud and there were 500 votes in one state.

Today’s GOP establishment is claiming fraud at national, state, and local levels in an election where the winner won by more than any other challenger to an incumbent since FDR beat Hoover, and that includes Reagan over Carter. Did Carter scream “fraud”! Did Hillary, who lost 4 years ago by a much smaller margin – while winning the national vote – in the same 3 rust belt states yell “fraud!”? No, she conceded that night and announced it publicly the next day and had the balls to show up at the inauguration to show her support for system and democracy. Have the Democratic Senate candidates who lost – some on the same ballots the GOP says were fraudulent in he presidential race – yelled “fraud!”

Hell no. Thinkit, if you’re going to claim equivalency, you’d better think it through better.

    2. Why concede when you see the Voting Irregularities . Wait, let them investigate and if there where laws broken, let the courts adjudicate.

  4. If Jones Day’s *clients* are subject to the skull-and-crossbones treatment, I hate to think of the fate of a guy who’s *married* to a long-time Trump “enabler”. Is there a bigger POS in this world than George Conway?

    1. There are plenty of bigger POSs in the world, including Trump. And Pence. And Kellyanne Conway. And Pompeo. And Barr. And Bannon. And Roger Stone. And McEnany. And Huckabee Sanders. And … and … and …

At least George Conway recognized that he made a mistake and worked to get Trump out of office.

  5. Karl Rove in the WSJ:

“The president’s efforts are unlikely to move a single state from Mr. Biden’s column, and CERTAINLY they’re not enough to change the final outcome.”

  6. Jonathan: “Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord”…and now, I suppose, we can add the Lincoln Project and even Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
After four years of relentless personal attacks by Trump and his Republican allies how did you expect the Democrats to behave now that they are assuming the reigns of power? That’s the “crushing irony”, to use your words, in your demand that Democrats show some “charity” toward their opponents. When supporters of Antifa demonstrated across the country against police brutality and Trump’s policies you continually attack them as a terrorist organization and emboldened Republicans and provided the intellectual fodder for Rep. Matt Gaetz to say: “Now that we clearly see Antifa as terrorists, can we hunt them down like we do those in the Middle East?”. When Trump railed against Michigan Governor Whitmer over her pandemic restrictions his supporters chanted “Lock her up”. Some Trump supporters even wanted to kidnap the Governor and try her for treason. Don’t recall you asking Trump to follow Lincoln’s admonition: “With malice toward none, with charity for all”. You often complain about the lack of “civility” in our public discourse. The say charity begins at home. Had you spoken out forcefully against Trump’s utter disregard for “charity” when it comes to his political opponents you wouldn’t be calling for it now. Unfortunately. what goes around comes back around.

  7. Well it appears the honor of becoming the 1st VP of color was a Republican. Bwahahahahaha!

With numerous news outlets prematurely announcing the victory of Democrats Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, progressives everywhere are incessantly cheering on the election of the woman many believe to be the first vice president of color in American history.

As it turns out, Harris, if appointed, would not be the first vice president of color.

Instead, that honor goes to Charles Curtis, a Republican who served under former President Herbert Hoover as the 31st vice president from 1929 to 1933.

  8. Here is what a reasonable, rational, non-Trump-sycophant-like-Jonny would say: That [many people believing the lies] is why it’s vital that every reputable news organization — especially television, Facebook and Twitter — adopt what I call the Trump Rule. If any official utters an obvious falsehood or fact-free allegation, the interview should be immediately terminated, just as many networks did with Trump’s lie-infested, postelection, news conference last week. If critics scream “censorship,” just shout back “truth.”

  9. Reactionary elements in our midst are conspiring to undermine Party unity and obstruct meaningful change. Our foes are determined but the Party will prevail. The battle for Reconciliation is just beginning!

  10. Trump supporters have moved into the realm of trying everything they can, legal or not, to over throw an election. They are a threat to the very core of our democracy. The lawyers who are helping are abusing the court system. They all need to be denounced. This is not a difference of opinion, this is one side trying to destroy our democracy. They should get nothing but the highest scorn.

    1. If the left had just conducted the election according to the rules we would not be in this mess now.

Regardless of the outcome of the current mess can we agree that we are not going to do something this stupid again.

In person elections with limited provisions for absentee ballots. With all ballots counted on the day of the election.

There are 760,000 people in each congressional district int he US. Each district has dozens of precincts. There is no reason that all the votes can not be counted on election day.

I wrote exactly how to have proper secure trustworthy elections – it is not hard to do, there are only a few things that need to be done to secure inperson elections.

But rather that tell you how toi conduct legitimate elections, I decided to ask you.

How do we vote so that every citizens right to vote is protected, but that only living citizens can vote ?
How do we vote so that no one can vote more than once ?
How do we vote so that no one can pay people for their votes ?
How do we vote so that our vote is secret – so that no one can know how we voted ?
How do we vote such that no one can insert ballots into the election system – that the only votes that get counted are of real people ?
How do we vote so that elections have a clear start and a clear end ? The incentive for fraud increases the longer elections continue, and it increases exponentially with delays in the counting process.

Do not tell me that there are no problems with our elections – As the GA Sec State announced with the recount – there is fraud in every single election. If we expect voters – especially those who lost to trust the results, then THEY must be satisfied that the vote was conducted properly. In the US “fairness” means – “due process” – that there are rules and the rules are followed scrupulously.

If you win an election, then you are going to make the rules that govern others – if you can not obey the rules by which an election is conducted – why should anyone obey the rules that you pass as the purportedly legitimate government ?

It is the legitimacy of elections that ONE critcal requirement enabling you to use the awesome FORCE of government against those who do not agree with you. If you expect men with guns to enforce the laws that you pass – then men with guns must also be able to enforce the laws that govern elections.

So tell me what laws you would impliment to conduct elections such that people will be able to trust they results ?

Governing is not wishing for a specific outcome and then declaring that it will occur magically because you have wished it so.

However you setup the laws – including election laws there will be a massive incentive for people to find loopholes or to circumvent those rules and laws.

$15B was spent in this election cycle. That is a massive amount of money. 2/3 of it was spent by democrats.
That money came from political contributions. Nearly all of the $10B that democrats spent came from corporate donations.
These donors expect something in return for the billions they are contributing. Given the amounts in question – and given the federal jobs and the power that changes hands – you can absolutely bet the incentives to cheat or find loopholes in whatever the rules are will be extremely high.

Some of the problems with the current election can not possibly have occured without the complicity of the campaigns, election officials and parties involved. There is absolutely zero doubt at this moment that there was serious election corruption that falls squarely at the feet of the democratic party, the Biden Campaign and the election officials in democratic cities. Conducting vote counting in secret is a violation of the law in every state. There is absolutely no excuse for it. Democrats claim to be the party of sunlight – and yet here they are acting in the dark.

But some of the problems in this election were the result of myriads of individuals acting without moral foundations.

By instituting mailin voting we incentivized individual voting fraud and diminished the probability of getting caught.

If you received a ballot application for another person – what beyond your own integrity prevents you from applying for that ballot ?
If you do so, what stops you from voting twice – as yourself and another person or persons ?
If you do so how do we correct that – How do we catch your fraudulent extra vote ? How do we punish you for doing so ?
What stopped mailin voters from accepting money to vote in a particular way ?
What assured that mailin voters were not preasured by parents, children familiy relatives, political operatives, freinds to vote a specific way ?

There is zero doubt that thousands of dead people, or people who moved out of state or otherwise got into voter registration databases improperly will have voted in this election. If you do not beleive that is the case – you are naive.

It happens in every election. It happens with in person elections where it is much harder to pull off.
But it is trivial to pull of in a mail in election.

About half the country beleives that there was serious fraud in this election,
If you do not reassure them, why do you expect that in the next election they will not decide that if You were willing to commit fraud – they should not ?

Democrats have run afoul of this problem repeatedly.

Democrats eliminated the Fillibuster – the benefits went primarily to republicans.
Democrats politicized the appointment of Supreme Court Justices – and now there are 6 justices that lean right.

Democrats seem to think that everyone in business is crooked – but somehow think everyone in politics is honest – or atleast that all democrats are honest.

      1. JS: “By instituting mailin voting we incentivized individual voting fraud and diminished the probability of getting caught.”

Exactly. Those who claimed at the outset that there are not systemic problems with mass mail-in voting, were either ignorant or dishonest. It’s the perfect environment for ballot catfishers.

There is a good reason why France, and most of the European Union, banned mass mail-in voting. It’s a prescription for grand-scale mistakes and fraud.

“France banned mail-in voting in 1975 because of massive fraud in Corsica, where postal ballots were stolen or bought and voters cast multiple votes. Mail-in ballots were used to cast the votes of dead people.”

Show up in person and show an ID. If you cannot do that, you do not deserve to vote. (Absentee ballots are not the same thing as mass mail-in voting.)

      2. John say, the election WAS conducted by the rules. The problem is the president and his enablers don’t like the idea that they ARE being conducted by the rules. Every challenge in court has been dismissed because they have not been able to prove any of their claims. Any irregularities have been found only because the rules were followed. Irregularities are not fraud. They are just the kinds of problems that pop up in every election. Trump’s own lawyers concede in court they are not alleging fraud has occurred.

        1. ” . . . the election WAS conducted by the rules.”

          You are right.

But that’s like saying: “I set up the three-card monte by the rules.”

Those last-minute, ever-changing, unconstitutional “rules” are precisely what caused this mess.

          1. Sam, the rules were created by Republican legislators in their respective states. John say claims the left is not following the rules, but he ignores the fact that the contested states have majority republican legislatures which…made the rules.

            1. Svelaz: “[T]he rules were created by Republican legislators in their respective states.”

              You are mistaken.

In PA, the mail-in rules were created by executive branch fiat. That decision is, in fact, the subject of the SC challenge.

In NV, both houses are controlled by the Democratic Party.

In AZ and MI, the secretaries of state (both Dems) did an end run around the legislatures to approve and expand mass mail-in voting.

That said, the “who” issue is a diversion. The real issue is whether there should be mass mail-in voting (and voter ID).

  11. That one is off the wall since it was Lincoln that violated The Constitution to keep the union together but ended up being the beginning of freeing the slaves of the Southern Democrats sold by the Northern Democrats who became anti civil rights after hiding their true name of Progressive Liberals but actually had their genesis in Marx, Engels and the Communist Party… And here we are they are still trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear but…… some pigs ar emore equal than others. Some stay in the slop trough and others become Piglosis.

Which brings us back to the slave masters and the slaves. Lincoln should have just built a wall.

  12. Scott Adams
The most corrupt institutions and individuals in America have declared that the election was free of fraud, and that’s good enough for me. What’s wrong with the rest of you?

  13. If Trump’s Denial Continues Into January..

    ‘Continuity Of Government’ Is Jeopardized..

With Grave Implications For National Security.

The fact that Trump does not care about the scope of the mayhem he creates — that he revels in anarchic conflagration — creates exceptional danger.

Philip Bobbitt, a professor of law at the University of Texas and at Columbia, is an expert in national security. He raised the question of what is called “continuity of government.”

If Trump succeeds in preventing acceptance of Biden as president all the way to Jan. 20, 2021, Bobbitt notes in an email, what is known as “continuity of government” becomes a problem.

Continuity of Government is an artifact of the nuclear age: what happens to the National Command Authority vested in the president — and to nuclear deterrence — if a surprise attack decapitates the US leadership? The problem resurfaced after 9/11 when it became known that the fourth plane seized by Al Qaeda was headed to the Capitol and would have struck during morning business in the House. The result could have rendered Congress helpless until new elections replaced enough House members to reconstitute a quorum; in the interim martial law would have prevailed.

A number of scenarios, Bobbitt noted, could result in the constitutional drop-dead date of Jan. 20, leaving the country and many elements of government deeply divided as to who the rightful occupant of the presidency is. In that event, Bobbitt asked, “What happens to the national command authority vested in the president?”

“There is a second, related problem,” Bobbitt continued:

The continuity of government vulnerability spawned a number of emergency powers granted to the president, some highly classified. We could well face the use of these powers by the president based on his professed belief that the election was irredeemably flawed and that a “coup” against him is underway.

While the focus now is on the period until Dec. 14 because “Dec. 8 is the deadline for resolving election disputes and completing any state recounts and contests, and Dec. 14 is the day the electors meet in each state to vote and execute their ballots,” Bobbitt warns that the subsequent period from the 14th to Jan. 20 may be even more fraught and the worst outcome would be confusion on the 20th. What, for example, would be the response of the United States government if North Korea or Russia took some aggressive action in their respective theaters on the 20th?

The unpredictable danger Trump and his henchmen are putting the nation in has no antecedent. Trump’s irrationalism has become a contagion. As he presides over the destruction of reason, he exploits and electrifies his public. No one knows where this will lead. Delusion can become tragedy. It’s happened before.

  14. Democrats sincerely believe they are fighting against tyranny, for justice for all. What they don’t understand is that conservatives are fighting for exactly the same thing. The very reason why conservatives want limited government, strong individual rights, and defend the Constitution, is to prevent a dictatorship. Enemy lists created by people in power are a hallmark of abuse.

Which party is more likely to lead to a fascist state or dictatorship? The party that defends the Constitution, the right of individuals, free speech, and wants Supreme Court justices to apply the law as written, or the party that attacks invited conservatives at universities across America, makes up enemies lists to cancel, drive out of business, impoverish, or even assault dissenters, which attacks people for wearing MAGA hats, opposes free speech, freedom of Christian religion, the 2nd Amendment, and the Electoral College of the Constitution? They also want Supreme Court justices who will legislate from the bench.

They’ve been out on the streets rioting, burning, looting, and threatening to destroy the government if they lose the 2020 election.

At what point do Democrat voters wake up and realize they’ve been the bad guys?

    1. Wow…..the number of examples in PA alone of voter fraud are over the top

“4. Allegheny and Philadelphia Counties alone received and processed 682,479 mail-in and absentee ballots without review by the political parties and candidates…in direct contravention of the Election Code.
      142. In Philadelphia County, poll watchers and canvass representatives were denied access altogether in some instances.

      143. In Delaware County, observers were denied access to a back room counting area. After a court-ordered injunction, the poll watchers and canvass representatives were finally allowed in the back room counting area on November 5, 2020, to observe, but for only five minutes every two hours. …
      145. With particular regard to the Philadelphia County Board of Elections, the Board would not permit the Trump Campaign’s watchers to be within 6 feet of “all aspects” of the pre-canvassing process in direct contravention of Commonwealth Court Judge Christine Fizzano Cannon’s November 5, 2020 Order “requiring that all candidates, watchers, or candidate representatives be permitted to be present for the canvassing process pursuant to 25 P.S. § 2650 and/or 25 P.S. § 3146.8 and be permitted to observe all aspects of the canvassing process within 6 feet.”

      146. The Order required the Philadelphia Board of Elections to comply and allow watchers to be within 6 feet by 10:30 a.m., but at 10:35 a.m. the workers were denied entry. Instead, the Board sent all of the workers on a break (previously workers received breaks on a rolling basis), and the Commissioners met offsite. Two hours later the workers returned, and the watchers were allowed to be within 6 feet, but within 6 feet of the first row of counters only. Within a short period of time, the workers began working at other rows that were well-beyond 6-feet, rendering it impossible for watchers to observe the rows that were more than 25-feet beyond the area where watchers were allowed. Moreover, during the course of the entire period, the workers repeatedly removed ballots, sometimes over 100 feet away, to do something with them, which the Trump Campaign’s watchers were unable to observe.

      149. A shocking number of mail-in ballots have inexplicably appeared in counties since the November 4 ballot reports. For instance, in Delaware County, the county’s Wednesday, November 4 report indicated that Delaware County reported it has received about 113,000 mail-in ballots and counted approximately 93,000 voted ballots. On the next day, November 5, the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s 4:30 report reflected that Delaware County had received about 114,000 ballots. Several hours later, the Delaware County solicitor reported to an observer that the County had received about 126,000 mail-in ballots and counted about 122,000. As of Sunday, November 8, 2020, the Department of State’s website reflects that the County has counted about 127,000 mail-in ballots. Plaintiffs have received no explanation for where the additional 14,000 voted ballots came from, when they arrived, or why they are included in the current count.
      151. In Delaware County, an observer in the county office where mail-in ballots were counted was told by the Delaware County Solicitor that ballots received on November 4, 2020, were not separated from ballots received on Election Day, and the County refused to answer any additional questions.

The Complaint also includes several micro-instances of voter fraud, for example:

      123. In Chester County, an observer witnessed a flawed resolution process for over-voted and under-voted ballots. The observer witnessed one election worker responsible for resolving over-voted and under-voted ballots by subjectively determining who the elector intended to choose on the empty votes. The observer reports that in numerous instances the election worker altered the over-voted ballot by changing votes that had been marked for Donald J. Trump to another candidate.

      Two more:

      117. In Montgomery County, a poll watcher observed a Judge of Elections pull aside voters who were not listed in the poll books as registered to vote. The poll watcher reports hearing the Judge of Elections tell those voters that they needed to return later and report their name as another name that was in the poll book.
      121. In Centre County, a poll worker reported that persons appearing at the polls and admitting that they were New Jersey voters, rather than Pennsylvania voters, were nonetheless provided provisional ballots on which to vote.

    2. I wish you’d wake up and smell what you’re shoveling. Where to start? First of all, being a Trumpster does not mean you are a conservative or even a Republican. I cite as examples The Lincoln Project, a group of Republicans opposed to Trump. Conservatives believe in individual integrity, honesty, respect for others, paying debts and accepting personal responsibility, all concepts foreign to Trump.

“Enemy lists”? Anyone who didn’t kiss your hero’s plus-sized ass got the boot, including now that he’s lost the election. He’s trying to place his loyal disciples in key positions to sabotage Joe Biden’s presidency. The American people won’t stand for this. Trump is a dictator wanna-be. He previously threatened not to leave if he lost. Will he require the government to remove him as a trespasser?

You don’t even know what “enforce the law as written means”. This is some garbage you bought from Fox News. The Constitution is subject to interpretation with the passage of time. If it weren’t Barrett and the other women wouldn’t be on the SCOTUS, you wouldn’t be allowed to vote, and we’d still have slavery. Oh, and the police could listen in on your phone calls, hack your computer and read your e-mails, because there’s nothing in the Constitution mentioning telephones, computers or e-mail. All of this is covered by the right of privacy in a citizen’s person and papers, but no cell phones were mentioned, no computers, etc.. When a court interprets the words of the Constitution as covering such rights, Republicans claim that they aren’t honoring the words of the Constitution. That’s hogwash.

So called “conservatives” who aren’t wanted on college campuses are usually those who stir up trouble, and it isn’t Democrats who dis-invite them. Colleges do this on their own. Democrats aren’t the ones rioting, burning, looting or doing any of the other things you complain of, either.

You wanna talk about “bad guys”? How much worse does it get than your hero? He cheated to get in the White House with the help of Russia, wouldn’t cooperate with either the Mueller investigation or Congressional investigations, he tried to leverage aid to Ukraine in exchange for ginning up lies about President Elect Biden, he caged little kids, more than 600 of whom don’t have parents who can be located, he was impeached and 48 U.S. Senators voted to remove him from office. In his campaign, he told so many lies, called Biden so many names and lobbed so many false accusations, I can’t keep count, and he held super spreader events, too, challenging the guidance of the CDC. Now, he’s lost, but he won’t concede. He’s preventing the Biden administration from getting a head start. ALL OF THIS DEFEATS THE WILL OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. That’s the very definition of un-American. Trump was predicted to lose, he never got 50% of the popular vote, which is a record in presidential polling. If he hadn’t lost, that would be suspicious. Biden’s popular vote is up by more than 5 million votes.

The sad thing is that there are so many gullibles like you out there who believe whatever Tucker, Hannity, Jeanine and the others at Fox tell you, including repeating made up stories about voter fraud, talking about the frivolous lawsuits, complaining about fraud none of which has any factual foundation. You hate Democrats because you believe the lies you’ve been fed, and that is indeed sad.

  15. “McEnany Unveils 234 Pages Of Affidavits Alleging Election Irregularities In Michigan“

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany late Tuesday announced 234 pages of what she said were sworn affidavits alleging election irregularities in a county in Michigan.

McEnany appeared alongside Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel on Fox News’ “Hannity,” where she shared several allegations listed in the affidavits—statements made under penalty of perjury – from Wayne County.

“We keep hearing the drumbeat of ‘where is the evidence?’ Right here, Sean, 234 pages of sworn affidavits, these are real people, real allegations, signed with notaries,” McEnany said.

“They’re alleging – this is one county, Wayne County, Michigan – they are saying that there was a batch of ballots where 60 percent had the same signature,” she told host Sean Hannity.

“They’re saying that 35 ballots had no voter record but they were counted anyway, that 50 ballots were run multiple times through a tabulation machine.”

McEnany also shared details of another affidavit where a woman alleged that “her son was deceased but nevertheless somehow voted.”

“These are one of many many allegations in one county, and a county no less, where poll watchers were in many cases threatened with racial harassment, they were pushed out of the way, and Democrat challengers were handing out documents, how to distract GOP challengers,” she continued.

“These are real, and anyone who cares about transparency and the integrity of the system should want this to pursue to the discovery phase.”

On Monday, President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign filed a suit in Wayne County Circuit Court alleging voter fraud in ballot-counting procedures. The suit alleges county election officials allowed various fraudulent processing of votes, including telling poll workers to backdate ballots and not verify signatures on absentee ballots. Several witnesses have filed sworn affidavits attesting to alleged election fraud. The plaintiffs, two poll challengers, are seeking a temporary restraining order on ballot counting. The case is pending.

Late Tuesday, the Trump campaign announced the filing of a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in the Western District of Michigan that alleges pervasive election irregularities and violations in Wayne County and seeks a review of the Dominion Voting software which caused glitches in several states.

A number of media outlets declared Democratic nominee Joe Biden president-elect on Nov. 7 after they projected victories for him in Pennsylvania and Nevada, putting him over the 270 electoral vote threshold, although the vote counts have not been completed in those states. Vote counts also continue in Georgia and Arizona. Georgia and Wisconsin will have recounts of the votes, where results initially yielded a Biden lead.

Trump has alleged voter fraud and said any declarations of victory are premature, with his campaign having launched multiple legal challenges in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, and Michigan. The president said on Tuesday that his campaign is making progress and said that he will ultimately be declared the winner of the 2020 election.

    1. LOL! You’re hilarious. Flipping a bunch of random papers is not proof. Trump has pulled that BS before. Remember that giant stack of blank papers he said were the stuff he had to do for his taxes? They were all blank.

The Trump campaign has been given one embarrassing setback after another in court when lawyers who are REQUIRED to substantiate their claims come up empty handed. It’s easy to lob allegations when you don’t have to be in front of a judge, not so much when your job can be jeopardized by lying in court.
