Biden’s Pony Problem: Why The Hunter Biden Scandal Is No Dead Horse

President-elect Joe Biden has a pony problem. During the primary, Joe Biden bizarrely responded to a woman who asked why voters should believe that he could win a national election by saying “You’re a lying dog-faced pony soldier.” That encounter came to mind when Biden this week mocked Fox reporter Peter Doocy, who violated the virtual news blackout on the Hunter Biden story. by asking about the scandal. Biden immediately walked off stage and then stopped and said “Yes, yes, yes. God love you, man — you’re a one-horse pony, I tell you.”

Like many kids this Christmas, many voters are still angling for a pony. Biden has spent months mocking the Hunter Biden story – and anyone asking about it.  When CBS News reporter Bo Erickson asked Biden about his son’s scandal, Bo Erickson drew a similar rebuke from Biden.  He simply asked ‘Mr. Biden, what is your response to the New York Post story about your son, sir?’ Biden’s response was again a personal attack: “I know you’d ask it. I have no response, it’s another smear campaign, right up your alley, those are the questions you always ask.” Biden also blew up at a question that referred by the scandal by a NBC reporter and at a Fox reporter who asked about his son.

It is just not working. The media openly worked to bury the Hunter Biden scandal before the election, but the ponies keep finding their way back. The problem is when you one reporter like Doocy who refuses to be corralled and insists on an answer to a serious question.

The question yesterday was a good one.  Doocy yelled out “Mr. President-elect, do you still think that the stories from the fall about your son Hunter were Russian disinformation and a smear campaign like you said?”  Biden’s response of “yes, yes, yes” seemed to continue a discredited claim (indeed, “disinformation”) put out by figures like House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff who assured the pubic that the allegations against “this whole smear on Joe Biden comes from the Kremlin.” Some 50 former intelligence officials, including Obama’s CIA directors John Brennan and Leon Panetta, also insisted the laptop story was likely the work of Russian intelligence. Cable hosts and journalists laughed at the laptop story as fake news to justify the blackout on coverage before the election.

Then the pony showed up again. After the election, it was confirmed (as some of us discussed in columns before the election) that Hunter Biden is under federal investigation. The laptop appears to be genuine. The emails appear to be genuine. And Doocy continued to ask the obvious questions.

Biden is still hoping that he can continue to mock and the media will continue to do the rest.  One reporter yesterday did raise the scandal but only to ask if Biden discussed it with Attorney General candidates (the campaign already said that Biden was going to allow the Justice Department to reach its own conclusions).  There are other obvious questions, including whether a key business associate of the Bidens, Anthony Bobulinski, is lying. Either Tony Bobulinski or Joe Biden is lying. Bobulinski is repeatedly praised by Hunter Biden in the emails and identified as the person in control of transactions for “the family.” He has directly contradicted Joe Biden’s denial of any knowledge or involvement in his son’s dubious dealings.

There is a reason why Biden may not want to answer that question. If he calls Bobulinski a liar, Biden would be hit with a defamation lawsuit within days. He would then be forced to go under oath in a defamation. Such depositions present their own dangers. Just ask Bill Clinton.  So it is not a pesky pony but a sworn deposition that Biden may be trying to avoid.

The same problem exists on other questions.  For example, not only were Joe and Jill Biden included as “office mates” with controversial Chinese investor (and associate of Hunter) Gongwen Dong, but emails also refer to unsecured loans going to the Biden family and shares going to “the big guy.”  The “big guy” appears to be Joe Biden. Moreover, Biden spent the election denying that his son did nothing wrong and made no money from China. The question is when Biden learned of the federal investigation and whether he was aware of the dealings over multimillion dollar unsecured loans (as well as alleged gifts like a valuable diamond to his son).  Answering those questions falsely could trigger congressional investigation and then more ponies would show up.

That is the problem with a bunker press strategy of denial and isolation.  Like water, truth has a way of coming out. Clearly many in the media will continue to be in the bag for Biden. However, horses tend to gather where the water is found.  First, there was one pony (Doocy). Then another showed up (Erickson). Before you know it, you have a herd and a threat of a stampede.  Then it could be too late.

In mocking comment to Doocy, Biden was clearly trying to say a “one-trick pony.” That trick however was once called “journalism” back in the day when reporters doggedly demanded answers, particularly on questions like influence peddling. So many of us still hoping for ponies – and even some answers – for Christmas.

  1. It would appear Biden and more importantly the Democratic party have a pony, of a different color, problem. Even the NYT has recognized that that alleged “racist” President Trump has shifted immigrant populations in some of our biggest cities from red to blue.

Across the United States, many areas with large populations of Latinos and residents of Asian descent, including ones with the highest numbers of immigrants, had something in common this election: a surge in turnout and a shift to the right, often a sizable one.

The pattern was evident in big cities like Chicago and New York, in California and Florida, and along the Texas border with Mexico, according to a New York Times analysis of voting in 28,000 precincts in more than 20 cities.

Joseph R. Biden Jr. beat President Trump in almost all of these places en route to his record popular vote victory. But the red shifts, along with a wave of blue shifts in Republican and white areas, have scrambled the conventional wisdom of American politics and could presage a new electoral calculus for the parties.

    1. Olly, did you notice this sentence: “Joseph R. Biden Jr. beat President Trump in almost all of these places en route to his record popular vote victory”.

        1. Olly, Biden’s Popular Vote margin was 7.1 million, more than ‘twice’ that of Hillary’s 2.8 million margin. And even Hillary’s margin was within the boundaries of a normal victory. It makes us wonder why anyone believes Trump ‘won’ this election.

          1. 🤣 yeah, cling to that tripe. Despite a 4 years onslaught on President Trump, his presidency has shifted the electorate to the right in the minority demographics. That’s a win with legs.

            1. Olly, that increased minority vote probably had to do with main-in ballots. Because voting was easier a record number of people voted including more minority conservatives.

But currently Republicans are hard at work trying to making voting more difficult next time.

              1. This is true because you say so ?

The overwhelming majority of mailin votes everywhere were for Biden.

Your claim that Trump benefited from mailin voting with minorities is nonsense.

I would further note that we do not know how people – white, black, hispanic actually voted.

We only know what exit polls tell us. Those are typically done of in person voters.

                1. Paintchips is jealous Blow hasnt fluffed him

                  🍆

“This is so personally devastating to me: the black male vote for Trump INCREASED from 13% in 2016 to 18% this year. The black female vote for Trump doubled from 4% in 2016 to 8% this year,” Blow reacted. “Also, once again, exit polls show a majority of white women voting for Trump.”

Also, the percentage of LGBT voting for Trump doubled from 2016. DOUBLED!!! This is why LGBT people of color don’t really trust the white gays. Yes, I said what I said. Period.”

“Also, the percentage of Latinos and Asians voting for Trump INCREASED from 2016, according to exit polls. Yet more evidence that we can’t depend on the “browning of America” to dismantle white supremacy and erase anti-blackness.”

                  Charles “Racist Bottomboy” BLOW

            2. No, Olly, the reason Latinos voted Republican, sadly, is that they are afraid of competition by newly-arrived Latinos who would be willing to work for lower wages, put up with poor working conditions, and who would dilute the low-wage earner pool. The reasons are selfish, and that’s sad. They were afraid that Biden’s reversal of Trump’s abuse will result in an even larger surge of south of the border migrants, which would hurt them economically.

No person with any common sense or respectable values could ever support a repulsive, arrogant slob like Trump, who cages brown people, including young children, and calls them “murders, rapists, animals, criminals and breeders”. There’s no dramatic ‘right shift” in values at all or even a “win”. Everyone has an agenda.

              1. Ha! Amazing. Natch UNDERSTANDS why workers– some Latinos, and yes, native born low skilled white and black too, vote against more migration.

Their economic interests require it! She thinks that is “Sad”

                I call it DEMOCRACY

Why can the billionaires manipulate, donate, and “Vote” this republic into submission, for their economic interests, but not the workers?

Partly because FOOLS like her think workers are “Sad” for doing what any other voter could and would do if they had a brain!

We should be voting to expropriate the billionaires, that’s what I think. That[‘s in our economic interests, not being their locked down, impoverish slaves, forever!

                Saloth Sar

              2. LOL! Yeah, all those Asians coming up from south of the border are a real threat as well. What you call selfish, is an electorate contemplating the risks to their current conditions and voting accordingly. Of course you haven’t and cannot dispute the demographic shift to the right. Instead you’ve insulted millions of Americans that reject policies that put our national security at risk and that would fundamentally transform this country into a socialist hellhole. No person with any common sense or respectable values would ever support such a repulsive blue wave ideology. This is President Trump’s legacy and it will have legs.

                1. Olly said “What you call selfish, is an electorate contemplating the risks to their current conditions and voting accordingly”

                  EXACTLY

for some reason middle aged white women are habitually incapable of correctly assessing their own self interests, as a group

                  probably because of college miseducation

or perhaps not. perhaps they, who too are also the beneficiaries of affirmative action,. perhaps they are doing it too, eh? selfish!

Servants of the bureaucracies, controlled by billionaires

Just look around you and it becomes obvious how the cookie crumbles

Guess what. We’re gonna be selfish alright. Selfish in solidarity, the American workers and middle class!

Selfish in solidarity against the billionaires and their bureaucratic lackeys

                  Saloth Sar

              3. “No, Olly, the reason Latinos voted Republican, sadly, is that they are afraid of competition by newly-arrived Latinos who would be willing to work for lower wages, put up with poor working conditions, and who would dilute the low-wage earner pool. The reasons are selfish, and that’s sad. They were afraid that Biden’s reversal of Trump’s abuse will result in an even larger surge of south of the border migrants, which would hurt them economically.”

Interestingly there is likely some truth to your argument. Regardless of what you beleive about the fears of existing latinos. are you capable of grasping the meaning of your own assertion ?

These people seeking to come here ARE willing to work for less in worse conditions – for them that represents a significant improvement in their lives.

You want them to be free to come here. Are you willing to allow them the low wage poor condition jobs – that for them are an improvement ?

Or are you going to trap them in a worse hell, where they must work illegally.

I will be happy to join you in letting anyone who wants to to immigrate to the US – if you are prepared to eliminate the fascist and racist minimum wage and other work condition laws that force them into lawlessness,
If you are willing to accept that America is the land of opportunity – not the unsustainable land of freebies.

Let anyone who wishes come here – with no promise beyond the oportunity to achieve whatever they can on their own.

“No person with any common sense or respectable values could ever support a repulsive, arrogant slob like Trump, who cages brown people, including young children, and calls them “murders, rapists, animals, criminals and breeders”. There’s no dramatic ‘right shift” in values at all or even a “win”. Everyone has an agenda.”

The cages were built by Obama/Biden. They were built and USED by obama/biden. There were as many if not more deportations under Obama/Biden. the fundimental differences between Obama/Biden and Trump is that Trump stopped illegal immigrants from crossing the border – while democrats trap them in one hell or another after they get here.

I fully support open borders – but it requires an end to the entitlements state and to laws that require that immigrants can only work illegally.

                1. I fully support open borders

If you fully support w/conditions, then it’s not actually fully, is it? And don’t be so naive. How long after they agree to your conditions before open borders are the norm and entitlements return?

                  1. “I fully support open borders

If you fully support w/conditions, then it’s not actually fully, is it? And don’t be so naive.”

I fully support individual liberty – that does not mean that I support anarchy or murder.

I do not consider the “condition” that government does not otherwise act immorally or stupidly or both to be something I can not assume.
Though today that actually is a “naive” assumption.

” How long after they agree to your conditions before open borders are the norm and entitlements return?”

Now you are asking about Trust – that is an independent issue.

No I do not trust the left.

Atleast half the country does not trust the left either.

I am libertarian – I am not all that happy with the right.
But TODAY the left is 1000 times the danger than the right is.

                    1. Now you are asking about Trust – that is an independent issue.

I never mentioned trust. I asked a hypothetical based on past performance of government. That record of performance is not an independent issue; that is central to every issue where the people must reasonably consider who is setting policy and how that policy affects our national security and our individual lives, liberty and property.

What is your rational basis to support a policy of open borders? Do you have any evidence to prove how open borders has ever improved a country’s national security and better secured the rights of its citizens?

                    2. “I never mentioned trust.”
You said that after the fact democrats might renige and reimpose social welfare programs – that is by defintion a matter of trust whether you use the words or not.

“I asked a hypothetical based on past performance of government. That record of performance is not an independent issue”
                      That is called trust.

“that is central to every issue where the people must reasonably consider who is setting policy and how that policy affects our national security and our individual lives, liberty and property.”
                      Again that is trust.

“What is your rational basis to support a policy of open borders? Do you have any evidence to prove how open borders has ever improved a country’s national security and better secured the rights of its citizens?”

Yes, the US in the 19th century.

I would further note that “national security” is not “the issue” that phrase is nowhere in the constitution.

That does not mean it is not important. Only that it is not solely determinative.

even “better secured the rights of citizen ” is a single – though very important criteria.

Regardless, you asked for an example the US in the 19th century is a perfect example.

Until late in the 19th century the US had near open borders. During that time standard of living doubled several times over.

Flipping this – you can limit immigration if you wish.
That will preclude the country being flooded by cheap labor.

But it does not eliminate the cheap labor. Stop the immigrants from coming here – and they produce the same or similar goods inexpensively elsewhere. Now you have to decide whether you are going to stop goods rather than people.

And finally – you seem to fail to grasp that producing the same goods at lower cost RAISES standard of living.

Standard of living is producing the most of what humans value with the least human effort possible.

                    3. I would further note that “national security” is not “the issue” that phrase is nowhere in the constitution.

Clearly then, the phrase open borders is written somewhere in the constitution, right?

even “better secured the rights of citizen ” is a single – though very important criteria.

Single criteria? It’s the only criteria legitimizing everything else the government does. Perhaps your libertarian nature bends more socialist.

Until late in the 19th century the US had near open borders.

So your example is not open borders at all. It’s a managed immigration policy. Is that what you support regarding open borders?

                    4. The constitution is about the powers of government. Mostly but not exclusively the powers of the federal government.

                    5. The constitution is about the powers of government. Mostly but not exclusively the powers of the federal government.

That’s a dodge. Of course you cannot admit the phrase open borders is not in the constitution either. What a shame. I enjoyed your comments better when you used dhiii. But then, you weren’t posting novelettes.

                    6. The phrase open borders is not in the constitution. Nor is the phrase closed borders. In fact the term border never appears in the constitution.

Any changes to my identify are driven by issues with Word Press.

There is no difference between free exchange within a country and without. There is no difference between the free exchange of goods and services and the free exchange of the people producing those goods and services.

I would further suggest that you might want to read Julian Simon’s “The Ultimate Resource II”
                      http://www.juliansimon.com/writings/Ultimate_Resource/

This is an excellent data source to refute pretty much every malthusian claim in the past 60 years.

Spoiler alert: Simon’s conclusion is there is only a single limited resource on earth – the human mind. More is always better.

The US would be better off with more people – not less.
Though the value of additional minds is multiplied by higher levels of freedom.

                    7. There was almost no immigration policy for the first 80 years of our history.

                      Almost no != managed.

          2. Elections are not won by popular votes.
They are also not supposed to be won lawlessly or with fraudulent ballots.

AS to Biden’s “numbers” – absent a lawful election these are not known.

      1. No one has claimed Biden did not win some 600+ counties in the US.

The important question is whether elections in 6 states were conducted lawfully – they were not.

Given that they were not lawful in consequential ways they winners of those states are not determinable.

Though they would have been had you followed the law.

        1. Okay, John Say, we’ll explain it to you again: Trump went after those 6 swing states for one reason only–they have Republican legislatures who had the power to seat pro-Trump electors despite the fact that he lost the popular vote. It was a strategy to steal the election, and it didn’t work because there was no evidence of widespread voter fraud in these states or anywhere else. You can keep believing the lies put out by Fox, OAN, News Max, Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell all you want, but they are still lies. You can ignore the fact that Bill Barr and Chris Krebs were both fired for telling the truth that the election was not rigged, but that doesn’t change the facts.

          1. “Okay, John Say, we’ll explain it to you again: Trump went after those 6 swing states for one reason only”
Because they were swing states. That is specifically why both Biden and Trump went after those states.
There is nothing at all wrong with that.

We fully expect each candidate to do whatever is legal to persuade the voters they need to win.

There is nothing wrong with that.

Wise people ALSO expect that with so much at stake either those at the top or some suborduinates along the way or just supporters on the side are likely to go beyond what is legal.
That ALWAYS happens – though those on the left have their head in the sand pretending that election fraud does not exist.
Of course it does – and the easier you make it the larger the scale it will be.

And we know that happened in 2020 as in every election. What is unique about 2020 is that the lawless actions of the mostly democrat governors in these swing states – and more specifically of election officials in a few populous democratic counties have left us in the impossible possition of being unable to tell what the true outcome was.

It is trivial – though you have fought it tooth and nail to determine approximately how many illegitimate cotes were cast.

Just verify the mailin ballot envelopes. Count those that should have been rejected as illegitimate and if that number significant exceeds the margin of victory you know the result is untrustworthy. The nature of mailin elections means that though we can know the number of fraudulent ballots cast – we can not remove them from the count.

“they have Republican legislatures who had the power to seat pro-Trump electors despite the fact that he lost the popular vote. It was a strategy to steal the election, and it didn’t work because there was no evidence of widespread voter fraud in these states or anywhere else. You can keep believing the lies put out by Fox, OAN, News Max, Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell all you want, but they are still lies. You can ignore the fact that Bill Barr and Chris Krebs were both fired for telling the truth that the election was not rigged, but that doesn’t change the facts.”

Natacha – the election was conducted lawlessly – YOU did that – not republicans, not Trump.

In PA in 2019 Republicans came together with democrats to pass Act 77 – that alowed mailin voting.

There is a huge problem that Act 77 is unconstitutional in 2 different ways according to the PA constitution – the PA constitution requires secret ballots on election day, and only allows for absentee voting with cause – not without excuse mailin voting.

Democrats and republicans could have sought to ammend the PA constitution – but they did not.

But this gets worse – Act 77 involved concessions from both sides. Republicans agreed (unconstitutionally) to allow mailin voting, in return for democrats accepting voter ID laws and other antifraud measures. All ballots had to be received by 8pm election day to count, and no ballot without a matching signature and drivers license or state ID number could legitimately be counted.

Yes when the election actually occured democrats ignored the parts of the law they did not like – the antifraud and voter ID measures.

And you wonder why Republican legislators are PISSED ?

Trump did not drive them to anger – authoritarian democratic govenors acting lawlessly and without trust did. ‘

These legislators are not only willing to send their own slates of electors. They are unlikely to cooperate with democratic governors on most anything in the future.

That is the consequence when “the ends justifies the means”, when you can not be trusted.

I specifically addressed PA – because I live there. But nearly every state in the country has state constitutional provisions that are 150 years old that require secret ballots – because as a result of massive election fraud resulting in buying and coercing votes states changed their constitutions to require secret ballots. Mailin voting can not meet the secret ballot requirement of any of these state constitutions.
            It is unconstitutional.

If you do not like that – change the state constitutions.

That is an important step – those constitutional election requirements were put into place to prevent the fraud you claim does not happen.

You can have mailin voting if you want – by amedning state constitutions to eliminate secret ballot requirements.
But the consequence is substantially increased election fraud.

Did Biden win as a result of lawlessness in election administration – I think that is obvious.
Without mailin voting there is no possibility that enough democrats would have come to the polls.

Did Biden win as a result of election fraud – that too is likely. Ultimately the data on who voted will be made public.
While we may not get to scrutinize the mailin ballot envelopes and discover how many ballots did not have the required Voter ID,
we will know who voted. We will know how many people who are not alive or real or residents of their state or are otherwise ineligable voted.

You may get through the innauguration. But the only way that you can maintain the illusion that Biden won legitimately is to hide from people the extent of the illegitimate ballots in swing states.

Regardless, you already have nearly half the country certain that massive voter fraud occured.

Even if that judgement was false – you can not change that by hiding everything that embarrasses you.

          2. You enabled Trump.

It is not like Trump did not telegraph months ahead of time that he expected mass fraud in the election.

And democrats obliged him by failing to follow the election laws.

Nearly 50% of the country would not beleive the election was stolen if you had followed the law.

Trump’s claims of election fraud would not be widely beleived if you had not worked so hard to act outside the law, and so hard to hide what was going on.

If you want to be trusted – behave in a manner that inspires Trust.

Nor is it just the election – you have jumped the shark so many times to get Trump – many people beleive there is nothing you would not do to get rid of Trump.

  2. Obama and the “truth”…oh please do spare me!

We need “regulations” re the “truth”?

    We need Guard Rails?

No…we need an old fashioned hostile media that speaks truth to power no matter which party is in office.

The Founding Fathers understood the need for a purveyor of the “truth” to the People so they could make wise choices at Election time.

Until we get back to that there is no hope of our system of government surviving.

The question now is how do we turn this train wreck around and get back on the correct track the Founding Fathers expected the Press/Media to follow in the performance of their duty to the Nation.

  3. Most of the media has changed their mission from journalism to shielding Democrat politicians, promoting Democrat politics, Democrat voter outreach, and figuratively stabbing Republicans, most especially aiming for Trump. The media has a long, well documented history of inaccurate reporting on Republicans.

    1. Anyone happen to catch the “zoom” call where old crotchety corrupt China joe says to his minority storm troopers that America is “DOOMED DOOMED”. And to think a rational sane person voted for this senile racist grifter was worthy ?. Just shows the true nature of the zeig heil demoratzi party.

      1. phergus, explain how this senile, racist grifter beat Trump by 7.1 million Popular Votes.

In fact, Biden’s victories in key swing states were largely due to Black votes. Are you saying most Blacks are too ‘challenged’ to realize how “racist” Biden is??

  4. Turley obviously believes when the history books are written about the 2020 election, the ones who will fare the worst will be Joe & Hunter Biden. Trump, his attorneys & Congressional Republican supporters spent the past 7 weeks attacking Republican Governors & Secretaries of State, Homeland Security officials, Republican appointed federal judges, Supreme Court justices & even Bill Barr for verifying Biden won a free & fair election. JT presumably believes all that will be reduced to an asterisk & a footnote.

After the 2016 election, Trump agreed to pay $25 million to hundreds of Americans who were conned by his Trump University business scam. Up until the 2016 election, Trump had lucrative deals with Communitst China to have his Trump branded clothing line made by Chinese factory workers making $283 a month, which let Trump substantially increase his profits. After Trump took office, China fast tracked 16 lucrative trademarks for Ivanka Trump.

Turley is unconcerned by the Trump family’s long history making profitably business deals with China nor with hundreds of Americans who were conned & in some cases bankrupted by Trump’s business scams. JT also isn’t concerned that no charges have yet to be filed against Hunter Biden 19 months after the FBI opened their investigation. In Turley’s books, if it’s a Biden, he is guilty until proven innocent.

      1. OK , we get it …you are a left of left type. You have to know you are a cult upon itself. What other political party would proffer up a senile grifter politico with as much baggage if not more than old swimmer teddy kennedy ?. …… yeah that’s right the zeig heil demoratzi party. You belong to the dog faced pony soldier assault on truth squad…pretty obvious.

        1. Typical lefty. All this “FishWings” does is make a comment that insults Turley, over and over again. Fishy offers nothing more than hurling insults toward Turley, toward Trump, toward Trump supporters. Not one comment ever offers a smidgen of substance. Typical moronic lefty libtard.

      2. Govenror Andrew Cuomo accused of sexual harassment and media buried the story.

GA Senate candiate Raphael Warnock accused of domestic violence, with video footage corroborating his ex-wife’s claim – media are buring the story.

Joe Biden accused of sexual assault by a former staffer. Media buried the story.

The #MeToo Movement was created just to harass Republicans.

Democrats can get away with anything, the corporate media will always do their dirty work for them.

This is exactly HOW Joe Biden was able to “win” the election.

    1. And people like you will be concerned with hiding the truth , deciding what is truth …. typical socialist toad.

  5. Word is Trump just vetoed the Dims/Rinos aka Pelosi/Schumer/McConnell/Romney/American Hating Traitors, etc.., plan to do away with the 1807 Insurrection Act of Thomas Jefferson. What are the odds this group is so much smarter then the Framers?

If there was ever a reason to use the Insurrection Act it’d be now under Trump. Cuff’em & Stuff’em Trump!

And it’s past time to stop listening to those Damned Lawyers as in just 3 weeks if Trumps out of office the US will be under full China/Globalist NWO Azholes.

    1. correction: “And it’s past time for Trump to stop listening to this group of his Damned Lawyers as in just 3 weeks if Trumps out of office the US people’s govt will be under full control of China/Globalist NWO Azholes. ”

And hey Fools don’t forget to rush out & get your new experimental mRNA vaccines. LOL Idiots

      1. Hey Oky Im gonna let the politicians play guinea pig on this one. I’ll die of old age before im willing to sign up to get my DNA tampered with

I;ve been exposed already, up close and personal & maskless with two people who got it but not me, confirmed, didn’t get sick.
Between melatonin, vit D, zinc, and my overreactive immune system, seems like Im doin ok

I guess i’ll have to keep on risking it! barely had a full week off this year too, never stopped working

when God wills it, then I die! Nothing will stop fate when the time comes

        Sal Sar

  6. Everyone defending Biden will quickly switch sides when Obama decides its time to install Kamala, “heels up” Harris. You will know when that happens because the media will suddenly find their voice, and “sources close to the investigation”. will have irrefutable evidence to publish, source unknown. But still enough to send joe off to a high dollar assisted living resort.

    1. “ But still enough to send joe off to a high dollar assisted living resort.”

With any luck Andrew Cuomo will direct Biden’s admission to one of the NY State COVID infested nursing homes

    1. Well senile china joe blo did say they “had the most extensive voter fraud program” out there…and by god they did.

    2. In many images including this one Joe looks like a senior aged version of the in-bred banjo player on the porch near the start of Deliverance starring Burt Reynold, Jon Voight, etc. (one of the top 100 movies of all time) There’s a reason those two have never been seen together…

  7. All of Obama’s 212 pardons were for fallen angels. All of Trumps 27 pardons were for rising demons. There’ evidence of intellectual dishonesty to be found on these pages.

  8. If Joe Biden has to answer for his actions in front of a court of law he will be declared incompetent to stand trial.

That is who the left wanted for President.

  9. The answers to the article immediately jumps to corruption by Trump. Because of corruption from Trump, corruption from Biden must be overlooked. The thing that we should be concerned with is corruption regardless of who committed the crimes. So one guys corruption is worse than the other guys corruption? Political malfeasance is the evil here. The equivocators posting here don’t really give a damn about an activity that is detrimental to the rule of law and the nation. Reinforcing the position created in their minds holds more importance than all else. Their postings remind us of the meaning of rank partisanship. Rank is known as a putrid smell.

  10. Was the Presidential election without voter fraud? Is there evidence to cast doubt, the two sides divide on the amount of fraud, but there is agreement that there was fraud. Then the question comes what is an acceptable amount of fraud. There have been cursory reviews of the balloting but no completed stem to stern review with concrete proof of the percentage of fraud or the undeniable winner. ———-There are still many who do not accept the results posted that the Dog Soldier was the Winner. Many Dogs followed the Ponies of the Dog Soldiers’ and the hallucination that the Alpha Dog Soldier would bring better leadership, only to find that one offspring of the Alpha Dog Soldier was a rabid dog with communicable liabilities. Liabilities shared with the Alpha Dog Soldier and his blood kin. The Alpha Dog Soldier looked not at the communicable liabilities of the rabid dog, but the rewards he brought to the table, only to latter learn the Council of Liabilities was looking at the rabid dogs dealing with other less than trust worthy packs. The Alpha Dog Soldier looked for advice on how to respond when asked about his Rabid Dog offspring and found Sergeant Schultz who advised “I KNOW NOTHING”. Will the Council of Liabilities removes the Alpha Dog of his leadership, that dependent on the Beta Dog Soldiers pack nipping and biting enough heels to draw blood.

  11. Yesterday, it seems Trump’s personal bankers at Deutsche Bank resigned.

Hmm, a lot of stuff that Trump has been hiding for the last four years – through executive privileges and endless delay tactics in the courts, is finally going to see the light of day in a little less than a month. People at Deutsche Bank know what corruption was behind all those Trump loans over the years. They are getting ready for the sh!t to hit the fan in a little over a month. A whole bunch of other Trump scandals are going to reach the courtroom – at least those which have not been corruptly pardoned away by a thoroughly corrupt President.

Meanwhile, an investigation into Hunter Biden’s taxes is continuing and probably we will hear he owes some back taxes or something, but far less back taxes than, say, Trump owes. The press has probably reported on Hunter more than this singular issue is worth.

    1. Today, just like yesterday and the day before, continued supposition without facts. Why the concern about a German Banks dealing with Trump Enterprises. You have little understanding of how banking works. If there was corruption as you postulate, do you not think the German authorities would not have already raised concern regarding the President of the United States, especially considering President Trump’s continued hounding for Germany to pay its fair share for NATO. You’re constant drumming of the same subject, TRUMP BAD reminds me of the famous quote from Macbeth: —–“There would have been a time for such a word. Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, Creeps in this petty pace from day to day to the last syllable of recorded time, And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more, it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury signifying nothing.”

  12. Notice how the muppets who were defiling their underclothes at every harsh and often inappropriate Trump utterance, have nothing to say about Biden’s attack on the free press.

Trump calls CNN fake news – Hitler! Dictator!

Bidet (not a typo) attacks journalists – They deserve it!

    1. Ti, Trump never fails to attack the press and personally insults them during news conferences. He regularly describes them as enemies of the state, and he, the world’s record holder for lying accuses them of lies. These are claims low brows like Turley and many right wing readers here take seriously.

Now, what did Biden say that you somehow think is the equivalent?

      1. There have been attacks by the left against Fox News everyday. Biden is not doing anything different than Trump but you must keep the halo firmly installed on his head. It seems to depend on what side of the coral your saddled with.

      2. No Joe as usual you are incorrect he describes them as enemies of the people, not ‘the state’.

      3. “LOW BROW” says joe.

more vain class-conscious signaling by someone so ardently in love with billionaires, a sycophant of the Democratic party leadership,
someone who is a social climber, one with aspirations, lace curtains, who will brag on Christmas about system connections and drop names
and signal with such phrases as “low brow” that he, too, is above it all, he is an elitist, he can carry one with his betters!

        Saloth Sar

        1. Says the phony populist who’s hero’s most lasting achievement was a huge corporate tax cut we’ll all be paying for for at least a decade.

          “low brow” means simple minded.

Kurtz, I shop at JC Pennys and always have and drive a 2005 F-150 that needs a paint job (I buy American cars and trucks). I have a pair of Merrils that I have worn every day for 2 years and I don;t even spring for Levis (Wrangler from Target fine with me). I went to a state school, and while my mother was her HS salutatorian, neither parent ever went to college and I went to Big State U, paid in-state tuition ($125 a semester), couldn’t afford a fraternity (not that I wanted to) and worked in the library for $.90 an hour. I have doctor clients and am very friendly with most of them, but my social group all averages under $100k a year and none of them are Elks, CoC, or donate more than $50 a pop to political candidates. They are all smart as hell and conservatively defined as high brow.

          Now you Buffy.

          1. “populist”
            And that means ?

“a huge corporate tax cut we’ll all be paying for for at least a decade.”
All taxes are ultimately paid by individuals. Corporate taxes are idiocy.
There should be no “cut” they should be reduced to ZERO.

You left wing nuts do not seem to grasp that all taxes are paid in reduced standard of living for all of us.

It is irrelevant where taxes are levied. They are ultimately paid by ordinary people.

“Kurtz, I shop at JC Pennys and always have and drive a 2005 F-150 that needs a paint job (I buy American cars and trucks). They are all smart as hell and conservatively defined as high brow.”

So ? You still make poor arguments, and poor critical thinking. Now you Buffy.

  13. A whole bunch of Republican criminals were pardoned yesterday for all kinds of wrongdoing. A bunch more, including Trump family members, maybe Trump lawyers, maybe Trump himself, will be pardoned in the coming weeks. Trump continues to push investigations of Democrats and anyone whom he considers his political enemies.

But you just keep plugging away at Hunter Biden, Hunter Biden, Hunter Biden. Because somehow Trump going to Ukraine and pushing a Hunter Biden investigation was, in your mind, purely motivated by Trump’s unyielding campaign against corruption and people trying to profit off political influence.

    1. A whole bunch? How does that compare with previous Presidents?
All sorts of crimes? How does that comport with the history of pardons? Any tax cheats, terrorists, or bombers, in the lot?

      1. Are a securities fraudster, a campaign funds fraudster, and several war criminals close enough?

    2. Yep. Turley: here’s what’s not working: your obvious advocacy against mainstream media and support for Fox’s agenda to cook up a “scandal”. Hunter Biden hasn’t been charged with any crimes. He’s being investigated, and we know all about how Trump controls the DOJ. One reason he fired Barr was because Barr wouldn’t announce the Hunter Biden investigation before the election. Trump and Giuliani, and their alleged crimes, have more significance than anything Hunter Biden allegedly did, and we don’t even know what that was. Yet, Turley’s marching orders are to attack mainstream media for not being pro-Trump, and to try to prop up Fox.

    3. Any person seriously interested in the law has a full buffet available almost every day from the weaseling and flopping of the Mango Mussolini in the WH, but somehow, Turley doesn’t notice. He writes more columns about Joy Reid than Trump! The only conclusion is he’s a Trump tool, permanently trolling for an invite to get on Fox, but not someone seriously interested in the law or any ethical , moral, and legal issues.

      1. The ethical issue of the past year has been the left dodging Biden’s serious ethical problems.

Whether it was the faux impeachment, or the press blackout, or the fake russian disinformation claim – this is a massive ethical failure – not just of Joe Biden – but of the media, the left and democrats.

Voters know the truth about Trump – as well as myriads of lies that you and the left and democrats and the press have told.

But 6.4% of Biden voters have claimed they would have changed their votes had they heard the news about the Biden’s in Ukraine and China.

That is an ethical failure on your part – the ends again justify the means.

    4. Troll scat. That facts from Associated Press: “Trump has granted about 2% of requested pardons in his single term in office, and had done 27 before Tuesday’s announcement. By comparison, Barack Obama granted 212 or 6%, and George W. Bush granted about 7%, or 189. George H. W. Bush, another one-term president, granted 10% of requests.”

    5. So Trump doing bad things excuses the Biden’s from doing bad things. To much time on your hands. Party above all else. Exposed again.

    6. Seems there is a lot to plug away at.

Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch just got a new cache of information about The Clinton campaign connections to Ukraine and possible perjury made in testimony against Trump in the hearings for impeachment.. One other email found in the cache showed Hunter Biden’s Burisma lobbying operation as an influence-peddling operation involving the Clinton campaign during the 2016 election. This further confirms the Obama-Biden-Deep State targeting of President Trump was to cover-up and distract from their own corruption.

  14. Turley is now Hunter Biden Central, the place for right wingers to not have to think about the real problems in the world and the fact that they just lost what was the 7th out of the last 8 presidential votes.

This isn’t a legal blog, it’s a circle jerk research facility for developing Fox and Newsmax “stories”

    1. You think that because clearly, your notion of right and wrong is fueled by your team spirit. JT bashes Trump when he deserves it and Biden when he deserves it. I know that concept is alien to you but you should try it.

      1. Ti, we can dig up 10 Biden columns in the last 2 months by Turley and most all are really about Hunter Biden. Show me more than one about Trump – good luck.

    2. Oh, the real problems of the world are not going away.

Biden is trapped between a rock and a hard place.

He can not make his left wing happy without tanking the economy and pissing off everyone else.

Covid will be his problem shortly – if the Vaccine thwarts it quickly, Trump will deservedly get the credit.
If it does not it will quickly become Biden’s problem. Biden better root for the vaccine.

If the economy recovers quickly – as it has been, Trump gets the credit, if it does not – Biden gets the blame.

If the Mideast turns hot – Biden is in trouble.
If Russia or China or Iran or NK become agressive – Biden gets the blame.

If Antifa does not fade away – Biden gets the blame.

If violence in cities escolates – Biden gets the blame.

The odds of Biden being successful are near zero.

  15. If it wasn’t for the media the Democratic Party would have bee flushed down the toilet with the rest of the $&#@ yers ago

  16. William Barr’s response that a special prosecutor is not needed, would seem to indicate the investigation is near completion. I wonder if his refusal to appoint a special prosecutor is because he expects charges to filed before January 20th.

      1. Hunter is clearlhy guilty of tax fraud.

As to the rest – there is alot that stinks, but little that is actually criminal.

Yet Paul Manafort was prosecuted and jailed on FAR LESS.

If you were ranting to convict Manafort – you are a hypocrit if you think Hunter is innocent.
There is no difference between their actions.

          1. Clearly you are unaware of the facts.

Hunter reported less in income than he was paid.

            This is pretty well documented.
He failed to report the income from Burisma on his taxes – according to emails from his own accountants.

And he failed to report the diamond that he received as income.

I could be wrong – on advice of his accountant, he might well have amended his tax return, and paid additional taxes interest and penalties. But thus far there is no evidence of that. And it is highly unlikely that a 2+ year investigation would have taken place if that is the case.

I am prepared to give Hunter the benefit of the doubt, but I am not stupid either. The odds that he paid taxes on the bursima income AFTER filling his taxes without including it are slim. The odds of his paying taxes on the diamond are even slimmer.

The diamond in particular is a serious problem – it reeks of an effort at tax evasion. Money goes through banks which must report it.
Diamonds are currency that can be easily transported without being reported.
