“The Bidens are the best at doing exactly what Chairman wants.” That WhatsApp message to a Chinese business associate was the perfect epitaph for the entire Biden corruption scandal. Part of the brilliance of the Biden influence peddling operation was to invest the media in the denial of any scandal. That is no more evident than the much discussed 2015 dinner of President Joe Biden with his son’s foreign associates. The alleged dinner demolished Joe Biden’s long denials of any knowledge of his son’s dealings. Accordingly, the Biden campaign denied he ever attended and the media happily dismissed the account. Well, the dinner meeting reportedly occurred, he attended, and, as usual, most of the media has not fully informed their readers or viewers. Indeed, even though Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates was central to this denial, most of the media cannot be bothered with such trivialities.
In 2020, the New York Post reported that Hunter introduced then-Vice President Biden to a top executive at Ukrainian energy firm Burisma, which was giving him more than $50,000 per month.
The Biden team and its media allies went into full crisis mode. Andrew Bates, who was still with the communication team of Biden’s 2020 campaign, assured the public that it was false. Politico reported that he had “reviewed Joe Biden’s official schedules from the time, and no meeting, as alleged by the New York Post, ever took place.” It also reported that Biden’s campaign was “punching back” on the Post’s story as false. Biden associate, Michael Carpenter, denounced it as part of “a Russian disinformation operation” and added “I’m very comfortable saying that.” You will recall that they said the same thing about the Hunter Biden laptop before the election … which the media also unquestioningly accepted.
A later Washington Post article in 2021 acknowledged that Joe Biden might have stopped by despite the prior denials. However, it reported that a “White House individual with knowledge of Joe Biden’s schedules said the decision to see Father Alex [Alex Karloutsos]” at the dinner was made late that day after the schedule was completed but Biden “didn’t even sit down” and that he “was not part of the dinner or part of the dinner discussion.” Again, problem solved.
Not quite. Former Biden associate Devon Archer just told Congress Joe Biden did attend, did sit down, and did engage all of their clients, including “Vadym P. from Burisma.” Archer said that, when Biden arrived, Biden “shook everybody’s hand” and joined their conversation. Moreover, emails show that it was long known that Karloutsos would be there in attendance.
Archer’s account supports an April 2015 email from Burisma board adviser Vadym Pozharskyi, who wrote Hunter Biden the day after the dinner to thank him for allowing him to meet his father and spend “some time together.” “It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure.” Pozharskyi added, “as we spoke yesterday evening, would be great to meet today for a quick coffee,” he continued. “What do you think? I could come to you [sic] office somewhere around noon or so, before or on my way to airport.”
A month before the dinner, Hunter and Archer discussed the dinner guests, including “Pozharskyi,” who was listed as “Vadim” and “Vadym.” Archer added “Obviously save a seat for your guy.” Biden associates were told not to refer to Joe Biden by name and referred to him as “your guy,” “my guy” or “the Big Guy.”
It was the same pattern that we saw with the laptop. The claims of Russian disinformation. The lack of media curiosity. The lack of coverage of the later disclosures. It is the hallmark of a state media, by consent rather than coercion. There are the denials of the incident, the dismissal of the story, and then the downplaying of the countervailing facts.
It is also an example of the only demonstrably true statement from Hunter in this corruption scandal. The Bidens truly are “the best” at this.
Imperative Reprise:
JUDICIAL RESTRAINT OR ACTIVISM?
JUDICIAL SUPPORT OF THE CONSTITUTION AND REPUBLIC!
The Supreme Court must act to strike down the perverse and unconstitutional acts of the Biden executive branch, in order to support the Constitution and to save the American restricted-vote republic which is in dire jeopardy.
The only licit and constitutional requirement for Judicial Review is the completion of an act of the legislative branch or the completion of an act of the executive branch – the passage of legislation or the execution of an act.
The persecution of President Donald J. Trump and biased interference in the 2024 presidential election, through the illicit, insidious and malicious juridical acts of the executive branch, are illegal and unconstitutional, and must be struck down by immediate Judicial Review.
The doctrine of Judicial Review applies to State and Local governmental levels, including the Office of the New York County District Attorney.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The Power of Judicial Review
The Supreme Court can strike down any law or other action by the legislative or executive branch that violates the Constitution. This power of judicial review applies to federal, state, and local legislative and executive actions. The Constitution does not specifically provide for the power of judicial review. It arises instead from an 1803 decision known as Marbury v. Madison.

Judicial Review – Key takeaways
The definition of judicial review is the power of the courts to determine if an act of Congress or the Executive is constitutional. The court may strike down a law or an executive action that is not in accord with the U.S. Constitution.
The United States government is a system of checks and balances and separation of powers. The Judicial Branch is an independent branch of government with the power to check the legislative and executive branches through the powerful judicial practice of judicial review.

_____
Judicial Restraint
On one side are those who favor a strict constructionist approach that emphasizes judicial restraint. Strict constructionists believe that judges should not create policy and instead only judge limiting themselves to applying rules clearly stated in the Constitution. This approach to decision-making limits policymaking decisions by judges, instead relying on precedent and legislatures.
Judicial Activism
On the other side are those who advocate for judicial activism: the belief that the Constitution is a living document and that judges should be free to make policy and alleviate needs and correct instances of discrimination that are ignored in the political process.

It is odd that this “50,000 per month” number keeps getting repeated over and over by people who should know that it was 83,000 per month (one twelfth of $1million).

The Poll Questions to ask are:
Do you think the Crimes alleged Trump are greater than those alleged Biden, or vice versa?
Who do you think committed the greater amount of Crimes, Trump or Biden?
Who do you think committed the more serious crimes, Trump or Biden?
It’s not a question of Who committed a crime, it’s about the seriousness of the crime.
I have not seen a Poll on that subject. IMO, more news exposure/coverage is needed on Joe Biden’s alleged crimes.
Current Polls are skewed due to the blackout of information that should be coming from Special Counsel Robert Hur,
although my understanding the Scope of his investigation does not include Joe and Hunters business dealings, only the investigation into President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents are entailed. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) Committee on the Judiciary needs to expand its scope and publicize the findings. Particularly of that of the Biden(s) activities alleged by Devon Archer. It has yet to be announced if a new Investigation will created or expanded to supersede current ones.

Fox (non) News has NO credibility. Just ask Dominion Voting Systems that obtained a huge verdict against it. And, Devin Archer shut down all of the lies about the calls between Hunter and Joe Biden–no business was ever discussed. Has Turley apologized for his previous writings that have been proven wrong? No.
NUTCHACHACHA, may we end public assistance, affirmative action, etc., ad infinitum, ad nauseam, or do you still need it to bilk Americans and to pose as an actual, authentic person?
“Free stuff” and “free status,” don’t leave home wiffout it!

“Dominion Voting Systems that obtained a huge verdict against it.”
CRACKPOT HORSESCHIFF!!
Dominion did not win a verdict, the case was settled out of court.
“Devin Archer shut down all of the lies about the calls between Hunter and Joe Biden–no business was ever discussed”.
Deliberately misleading or simply misinformed? The most he did was say he never heard them discuss business. What about the other 99.8 percent of the minutes in a day over 10 years?? So stupid. One of two things was evident. Either he was lying, because he understood that he would be implicating himself, by admitting he was in on it. Or, he was exercising “plausible deniability”, a keystone to the schemes that Jim Biden admitted to Tony Bobulinkski. Archer changed his story DURING THE INTERVIEW regarding his knowledge of the Zlovchevsky bribery call to DC, because his lawyer reminded him that he was implicating himself. He used the phrase “what we are talking around” with respect to what hunter and joe were offering in exchange for cash. Watch the Tucker interview and tell me with a straight face that Archer isnt lying. Archer cant even keep a straight face.
Ask yourself why Archer wasnt asked point blank “what was the nature of your meeting with joe biden at the white house, 5 days before he travelled to ukraine?”
The questions to be asked at that hearing were negotiated over the weeks prior, as the hearing was being postponed by archers lawyers, during which time he was able to develop his answers to dance around the truth while not incriminating himself. He knows gd well what was happening, just like you do.

Darren Smith, this space won’t post a reply, why?
Jonathan: Biden, Biden and Biden. So far the Comer/Jordan circus has come up empty-handed. None of the so-called “whistleblowers” have offered any evidence of a Biden family “corruption scandal”–this includes the recent interview of Devon Archer. In the interview his attorney asked his client this Q: “Are you aware of any wrongdoing by Vice President Biden?” Archer replied: “No, I’m not aware of any”. Archer’s testimony is consistent with Lev Parnas, the chief investigator for Rudy Giuliani in Ukraine, who clearly stated in an interview that Burisma officials had no contact with Joe Biden who was VP at the time.
Archer did say that Hunter used the “Biden” name to give the appearance of influence beyond what he was able to deliver. Rep. Dan Goldman asked Archer this Q: “Is it fair to say that Hunter Biden was selling the illusion of access to his father”. Archer responded “Yes”. (at page 127).
As to the 2015 dinner you reference Archer said the dinner included Hunter, Vadym, Joe Biden, Archer, Karim Massimov and a Greek orthodox priest, Father Alex Karloutsos, a close friend of Joe Biden. And, according to Archer, the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the World Food Programme and food security issues in connection with Hunter’s role as Chairman of the World Food Program USA. In response to a Q as to whether Hunter or any of his business associates discussed their business dealings at the dinner, Archer stated: “No” (at page 135).
It’s pretty clear Archer’s interview did not offer the proof Comer/Jordan wanted. Joe Biden most certainly knew about his son’s business ventures but he was not involved in them–had no ownership interest in them and did not receive “bribes” to take official action to further his son’s business interests. None of what Archer told the House Committee confirms any of your allegation!
@Dennis McIntyre said “Joe Biden most certainly knew about his son’s business ventures but he was not involved in them…”
So why did Biden lie over and over again claiming that he had never discussed his son’s business dealing and knew nothing about them? I’ll grant you we all know that Biden is a serial liar (full scholarship to college, graduated at the top of his class, three degrees, marched with civil rights leaders, arrested while trying to meet with Nelson Mandela, and so on ad nauseum). His self-aggrandizing lies were so much of a joke in Washington that the left coined an expression “That’s just Joe being Joe” that meant “Yeah, we all know Biden is a lying sack of dog crap, but he’s our lying sack of dog crap so we can’t call him out on it.”
But why did he lie about this? What did he stand to gain if he didn’t have anything to cover up?
For Dennis to say that the Whistleblowers (and others) haven’t provided any evidence is one of the dumbest statements even this partisan hack has ever written.
If you want evidence all you need is seeing Joe Biden himself bragging (because that is what weak faux tough guys like to do) about firing the guy investigating the company that was paying his son $83,000 a month. It is so simple as to be sickening watching and reading people lying as they try to downplay obvious.
It truly is aggravating seeing something so black and white only to be told by the likes of Dan Goldman and the partisan followers on this site say things that are so juvenile, so simplistic, so banal, so ridiculous that you just roll your eyes and say wow.
Archer actually said the “illusion of access” characterisation invented by Goldman is “almost fair” meaning it isn’t. He said there were many actual touch points and contact points.
From Archer’s testimony and all the other evidence it is apparent to anyone who has eyes to see that Hunter Biden sold two things in relation to Joe:
1. Being publicly identified with the VP, to intimidate hostile attackers; and
2. Actual protection and assistance when the intimidating effect of public identification was not enough.
It is not at all surprising that the calls to Joe Biden for actual assistance were done without Archer as witness. The one that likely occurred on December 4 2015 is a perfect example.
Andy McCarthy’s recent NR column has this just about right. This was a sophisticated influence peddling/protection racket.
If the Big Guy got a share of the loot, he WAS involved in the enterprise. But even that comment understates his role. He was the product being sold and he happily displayed himself in the store window.
America needs a president like the president of El Salvador to fight out of control crime. Our DOJ and FBI clearly is corrupted and now give us a multi tier system of justice. Read what Mr. Nayib Bukele said about fighting crime, please: “Cuando un gobierno no combate efectivamente la criminalidad, no es porque no tenga la capacidad de hacerlo, sino porque los cómplices de los criminales son los que están en el gobierno.”
He said, “when a government cannot effectively fight crime, it is not because it does not have the capacity to do it, rather, it is because within the government are accomplices of criminals outside government.”

“From a fmr Trump admin staffer:
Over the last few weeks the Jack Smith investigation has been drastically widened.
Now dragging in mid-level and junior campaign and White House staffers.
Even thought the indictment has been handed down, some are being forced to testify in the upcoming weeks.
Why are they doing this? Because it hurts the staffers financially. The average DC attorney to handle pre-indictment grand jury testimony costs between $20-50k. That’s more than half of what most the campaign staff would have made during their entire time on campaign
The goal here is clear, chilling of the right to free speech, reducing the right of free assembly, and to scare away GOP staff from future campaigns and administrations. This is the long battle and they’re fighting to win”

@martyrmade
“Same thing happened w/the Mueller investigation. We now know that Mueller had determined there was no collusion w/Russia almost immediately, but kept the investigation going for another 1.5 years to give FBI & DOJ cover to tell the GOP Congress “I cannot comment on an ongoing investigation.” That’s why Mueller’s probe ended when it did: the Democrats took the House and brought all the GOP investigations to an end.
The other reason is as described here. Many people quit the Trump administration because they were being bankrupted by legal fees due to being dragged into an investigation that, again, the Mueller team knew was bunk a couple months in. Many other people refused to join the Trump admin to avoid the trouble. Something to take into account when people complain about Trump not hiring the best people.
The Mueller probe was not “misguided,” “a waste of taxpayer money,” “a failure,” etc. It was a straightforwardly corrupt means to cripple Trump’s administration, teach a lesson to anyone who dared to work for a non-establishment candidate, and to cover up the FBI and DOJ working w/the Clinton machine to spy on the Trump campaign.”

Anyone defending the Bidens and the behavior of an uninterested media to report the facts are blind and willfully aiding in the destruction of this once great country.
The more I see of this rot, the more I dream of revolution. Then I wake up with a cold chill and think, “No sane person wants that”. I suspect our founders felt the same way and kept trying to engage the king and Parliament. But few voices in Parliament were raised in support of the colonists. Then some British commander got the bright idea of trying to captures weapons in Concord and “let slip the dogs of war”. A few shots and the conflagration was upon us. Same in the Civil war. There was talk and negotiating right up until Gen Beauregard decided to open fire on Fort Sumpter. No one was killed or even seriously injured that day. No comfort to the approx 600,000 – 800,000 dead we accumulated by 1865. I pray we settle this with the law and applied to all, in fairness to all but I am getting less optimistic.
Real President Donald J. Trump was indicted by corrupt political opponents in three states (i.e., D.C.) on concocted, imaginary and “fake” political charges.
Throwing political opponents in prison hasn’t been done since “Crazy Abe” Lincoln went outlaw nuts (secession was/is not prohibited and was/is fully constitutional and was precisely what the Founders availed themselves of against Great Britain).
The Founders put their fortunes and their lives in jeopardy of attainder by signing the Declaration of Independence.
Who has been dedicated to this nation as few others?
What independently wealthy and incorruptible billionaire has given and suffered so much for America, actual Americans, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights?
Real President Donald J. Trump.
The evidence of the Biden Crime Family corruption (and it does appear to be the ENTIRE family except minor children) is open, obvious, and can only be denied by lying and commission of even more crimes thru abuse of our judicial process. It is incredibly dangerous for the safety and even existence of the United States. It’s also obvious that whenever a story breaks about Biden’s massive corruption that Trump is then indicted to cover up and deflect the story. Trump has been repeatedly framed for crimes the Biden Crime Family commits or to prevent the investigation of these. Biden is only ONE of the corrupt pyramid of power that runs this country. The media is a big part of this vast corruption as is anyone who still defends Joe Biden and who attacks Donald Trump. If you are STILL defending Joe Biden & attacking Trump…..YOU are part of this corruption. You are part of what makes it possible for Biden to betray this great country.
Criticizing Biden et el is not the same thing as support for Trump.
*and vice versa.
Why did you leave the exception for minor children??????
But I just read a New York Times column by so-called “conservative” David Brooks….he called Trump a “monster.”
A monster? Really, David Brooks?
And what would they call Joe Biden?
Would any of these Washington insiders dare to call Joe Biden what he is?
Say it all together now:
Joe Biden is…..A criminal.
And a punk
Did Joe Biden report these contacts with foreigners as required by law? Was he not the Vice President of the United States at the time? If he did not report them then when is there going to be an ethics investigation? Why aren’t the House Republicans asking these questions? What do people in the US Office of Government Ethics do all day?
They target conservatives and Trump…
“the US Office of Government Ethics” 😂😂😂
is that a joke? government “ethics”? is an oxymoron.
the Congress, which Joe Biden made into his very lucrative “career,” makes the laws….and the loopholes
so they can all be as unethical as they please.
It may be “unethical” but it is not “illegal”…
so when they get called out they can say: “I’ve done nothing wrong”…
and….”What he’s doing is not illegal. He’s acting within the law”…
and… “There is no evidence, not one iota, that my son Hunter has done anything wrong”….
Define “wrong” Mr. President Biden. Define “wrong”…..
Oh but their political enemies? Hoo boy…..we’ll nail your a$$ to the wall….”ethics” AND “laws” be damned…. ie: Trump.

Joe could have put it all to rest if he just would have said that yes he did meet Hunter’s business partners but they didn’t discuss business. Instead he said unequivocally that he never met with Hunter’s accomplices at any time no where no how. I guess that after fifty three years in Washington deflection and lying has just become ingrained in the very center of his soul.
How could Joe Biden, or anyone else, remember a dinner he never attended? Well, he did .. . according to Turley.
Joe Biden barely knows what day it is, and forgets his own name. It’s not a lie, if he believes it.
*when this is all over, and the world still spinning, I’m starting a petition for AGE LIMITS and basic cognition tests.
Um, “did meet Hunter’s business partners but they didn’t discuss business” isn’t acceptable behavior under conflict of interest laws and regulations, and if any of those business partners were foreigners then Joe Biden was required by law to report having been in contact with them. It would appear he did not. Funny how no one ever asks about that.
What soul ?
Step by step, inch by inch the truth prevails. The Ukrainian prosecutor that Joe got fired says that he was getting ready to call in Hunter and Archer for questioning about Burisma corruption. Dear Prof Turley,
And by ‘the best’ at this, you mean the Biden’s are the worst at this. Don’t get caught up in NYT semantics.
Reading through Devon Archer’s semi-compelled (?) transcript to congress, it easy to see why; ‘bringing the regulatory advisory business into the equity world’ is the pot of gold at the end of the Biden Brand rainbow. It’s complicated. You got to be a lawyer to talk like that.
Hunter Biden took a loss and could make $5m at any law firm in the country. .. so lets not quibble over peanuts.
