“An America Issue”: Washington Post Reporter Calls on White House to Censor Trump for America

In my new book on free speech, I discuss at length how the mainstream media has joined an alliance with the government and corporations in favor of censorship and blacklisting. The Washington Post, however, appears to be taking its anti-free speech campaign to a new level with open calls for a crackdown. The newspaper offered no objection or even qualification after its reporter, Cleve Wootson Jr., appeared to call upon the White House to censor the interview of Elon Musk with former President Donald Trump. Under the guise of a question, Wootson told White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre that censoring its leading political opponent is “an America issue.”

During Monday’s press briefing, the Washington Post’s Cleve Wootson Jr. flagged the interview and said “I think that misinformation on Twitter is not just a campaign issue…it’s an America issue.” After making that affirmative statement, Wootson then asked

“…What role does the White House or the president have in sort of stopping that or stopping the spread of that or sort of intervening in that? Some of that was about campaign misinformation, but, you know, it’s a wider thing, right?”

Note how his question was really a political statement. Wootson begins by stating as a fact that Musk and X are engaging in disinformation and it is a threat to the country. He then asks a perfunctory softball question at the end to maintain appearances.

Jean-Pierre’s response was equally telling. While noting that this is a private company, she praised the Washington Post for calling for action, saying “[i]t is incredibly important to call that out, as you’re doing. I just don’t have any specifics on what we have been doing internally.”

So let’s recap. The Washington Post used a White House presser to call for censorship of one of the leading candidates for the White House and then demanded to know what the White House would do about it. The censorship was framed as an “America issue.”

There was a time when a reporter calling for censorship of a political opponent would have been a matter for immediate termination in the media. Instead, the newspaper that prides itself on the slogan “Democracy dies in Darkness,” has been entirely silent. No correction. No qualification.

The Washington Post has long run columns supporting censorship of information that it deems disinformation or misinformation. For many of us in the free speech community, it has become one of the most hostile newspapers to free speech values.

Now censorship has become “an America issue” for the Washington Post. The collapse of any semblance of support for free speech is complete.

The call for censorship for disinformation is ironic given the Post’s publication of a series of false stories and conspiracy theories. When confronted about columnists with demonstrably false statements, the Post simply shrugged.

One of the most striking examples was after its columnist Philip Bump had a meltdown in an interview when confronted over past false claims. After I wrote a column about the litany of such false claims, the Post surprised many of us by issuing a statement that they stood by all of Bump’s reporting, including false columns on the Lafayette Park protests, Hunter Biden laptop and other stories.  That was long after other media debunked the claims, but the Post stood by the false reporting.

The decline of the Post has followed a familiar pattern. The editors and reporters simply wrote off half of their audience and became a publication for largely liberal and Democratic readers. In these difficult economic times with limited revenue sources, it is a lethal decision.

Robert Lewis, a British media executive who joined the Post earlier this year, reportedly got into a “heated exchange” with a staffer. Lewis explained that, while reporters were protesting measures to expand readership, the very survival of the paper was now at stake:

“We are going to turn this thing around, but let’s not sugarcoat it. It needs turning around,” Lewis said. “We are losing large amounts of money. Your audience has halved in recent years. People are not reading your stuff. Right. I can’t sugarcoat it anymore.”

Other staffers could not get beyond the gender and race of those who would be overseeing them. One staffer complained “we now have four White men running three newsrooms.” The Post has been buying out staff to avoid mass layoffs, but reporters are up in arms over the effort to turn the newspaper around.

Yet, in this case, a reporter openly advocated for censorship and pushed the White House to take action against X and Trump; to use government authority to “intervene” to stop Trump from being able to make certain claims on social media.

We have previously written how the level of advocacy and bias in the press has created a danger of a de facto state media in the United States. It is possible to have such a system by consent rather than coercion. The Biden White House has become more open in its marching orders to media, including a letter drafted by the Biden White House Legal Counsel’s Office calling for major media to “ramp up their scrutiny” of House Republicans. President Biden has even instructed reporters “[t]hat is not the judgment of the press” when asked tough questions.

To the credit of the Post, it is not killing “democracy in the darkness.” This incident occurred in the light of day for all to see as its reporter pushed the White House for the censoring of political opponents.

  1. Dear Mr. Turley, my thought is that at least we can see the boldness of the media attempting to silence Mr. Trump as he is running for president again. (In 2016 it was the C.I.A. and the F.B.I trying to silence him.) I cannot recall one positive article on Mr. Trump or his family the entire 4 years he was in office. Nothing said about trade agreements or peace treaties he authored. The left leaning media still can’t get over that he beat Mrs. Clinton in 2016 and tried everything under the sun to ruin him. They are still working diligently to stop him. The democrats pulled off a soft coup by replacing Mr. Biden with Ms. Harris as they were worried about his polling numbers. I wonder what numbers they may have looked at? It seemed to me that Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden were close in their polling. The democrats have made an awful decision replacing Mr. Biden with Ms. Harris. We will have to wait and see what the country decides in November.

    1. Just HOW are “media attempting to silence Trump”? Pro-Trump swill is all they shovel on MAGA media. You say you can’t recall one positive article on Trump–just WHAT could be written about Trump that is positive? He’s a pathological liar, racist, misogynist, convicted criminal, adjudicated sexual assaulter and adjudicated fraudster. According to respected historians, he was the worst president in modern history and he left the country in shambles when his attempted coup failed. What “trade agreements” would anyone write about? What “peace treaty” did Trump bring about? The Abraham Accords were between Israel and UAE and Bahrain, and involved trade, not peace, because Israel was not in conflict with either of these countries.

Trump won the Electoral College in 2016 by cheating–but he still lost the popular vote. Do you think it mattered to him that most Americans did NOT want him in office and didn’t support him? In her new book, Nancy Pelosi describes the first meeting that Trump had with Congressional leaders. She said previous presidents began with inspirational things like a prayer, a poem or some aspirational statement about goals and ambitions. Trump began with “I won the popular vote”–a lie he just can’t let go of. Pelosi quickly corrected him.

No one has to “try” to “ruin” Trump because there’s nothing to “ruin”. He has had a bad reputation his entire life for being showy, braggadocious, a cheater in business and being a sociopathic liar, along with being a racist, misogynist and convicted criminal who stole classified documents, who consorted with a porn actress and nude model, paid them off, falsified business records to cover it up, all to help him win an election after getting caught bragging about assaulting women.

There was no “coup” involving Biden–he withdrew for the sake of the country to help keep the disaster of another Trump presidency from happening.

      1. gig: Who sent you here to spew your hateful rhetoric every day? Are you paid for this? If you are female, you talk like a sailor. If you are male OR female, you talk in under-educated words that speak of hurt, anger, damaged ego, crap. Just go away.

        1. Tom: What did I say that is “hateful”? Every adjective I used to describe Trump is factual. It’s not hateful to call someone a pathological liar or sociopath if they are one. George Conway has pointed out in multiple interviews that Trump meets the DSM definition of a sociopath. From the website “Our Mental Health”:

“Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD), often referred to as sociopathy, is a complex mental health condition characterized by a pervasive disregard for the rights of others and a lack of empathy. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5) provides specific criteria for diagnosing this disorder, which falls under the umbrella of personality disorders.

According to the DSM-5, individuals with ASPD consistently show a pattern of violating social norms, engaging in deceitful behavior, and demonstrating a lack of remorse for their actions. This condition typically manifests before the age of 15 and continues into adulthood, affecting various aspects of a person’s life, including relationships, work, and social interactions.”

Trump was recently asked in an interview whether he ever asked God for forgiveness–he admitted he hadn’t. He has no remorse for cheating on his wives, for spreading the Big Lie, the insurrection, for stealing classified documents or even for the death of Ashli Babbitt, who died because she believed the Big Lie. Now, some Evangelicals are turning against him.

It’s not hateful to call someone a convicted criminal if they have been convicted of crimes. It’s not hateful to call someone an adjudicated sexual assaulter and adjudicated fraudster if it’s the truth. It is a fact that Trump has been sued thousands of times for refusing to pay bills, forcing litigation to drive up costs and then forcing settlement on better terms. Trump brags about this. Most people call that cheating. Yes, the things I wrote are negative–but they are TRUE.

          1. “Trump was recently asked in an interview whether he ever asked God for forgiveness–he admitted he hadn’t.”

A Gigi: One should ask man to forgive one’s sins toward man and G-d for one’s sin against the almighty.

          2. Where did George Conway get his clinical psychology degree? When is the last time George Conway saw his penis?

            1. Conway says consulted clinical psychologists and the DSM-5, and he’s not wrong.

“…Barack Obama is secretly running the Biden administration. …Joe Biden is completely senile, so Obama made sure that the Biden White House was stacked with his own people in 2021 and has been the brains of the operation ever since. …News…said that ‘there are a lot of people who think the Obamas are already running the government and that there is some sort of shadow puppet situation going on that they’re controlling.’ Many other prominent voices have echoed this same line of thought.”

  3. Perhaps The Post reporter is only reflecting a diminishing readership for the MSM and expresses the corporate hope that curtailing Musk will force us back into their readership fold. HA!

  4. Instead of encouraging censorship of Trump and Musk for anticipated “misinformation” and “disinformation”, Wootson and The Post should be more concerned about, and focused on, the “no information” of the Harris-Walz campaign.

  5. Everyone needs to see the video of Secretary General, oops, I mean Governor Tim Wolz national guard yelling at CITIZENS standing on their porches to get inside, screaming at them, and then shooting them with paint balls when they didn’t go inside fast enough. THIS IS WHILE THE BLM RIOTS WERE HAPPENING AND WOLZ ALLOWED THE RIOTERS TO CONTINIE RIOTING AND EVEN HANDING OVER A POLICE STATION TO THEM.

This is the creep that says leave people the hell alone. SICKENING!

  6. *SENATOR KEELEY

Prof. Turley’s site is being monitored. Little algorithms scan it.

The WWW is subject to bunk created by itself. Machine created bunk. It rewrites what it wants creating massive amounts of bunk.

The objectives are easily identified. Lies, BS, bunk will cause collapse.

    Thank professor for the posts.

  7. Bravo Cleve Wootson Jr.!!!!!!
It is a rare person that is willing to reveal themselves as a fascist, a stooge AND a hypocrite all in one public setting.
In recognition of such accomplishment, Cleve, you are to receive the Joe Goebbels’ Achievement Award. Please display it with the dignity you deserve!

  8. NOOOOOOOO!!!!! DON’T CENSOR TRUMP!!!!!!!! LET THE A-HOLE HANG HIMSELF WITH HIS RIGHT WING EXTREMIST BS!!!!!! TRUMP SOUNDS LIKE THE MAGA TRASH ON THIS COMMENTS BOARD!!!!!!! THE MORE AVERAGE AMERICANS ARE EXPOSED TO THEIR PATHETIC WHINING AND COMPLAINING THE QUICKER THEY WILL VOTE AGAINST THE ORANGE TURD.

  9. Cleve Wootson Jr.is just another paid Democratic whore masquerading as a “journalist”. Quite fitting that he’s working for Heels Up Harris though.

  10. OT, but related to the good professor, Disinfo cop NewsGuard goes after free-speech lawyer, Olympics narratives as peers fall to scrutiny
“NewsGuard interrogates Jonathan Turley for not calling his blog “conservative” or “libertarian” – and even asking why it has a Latin name – after he criticizes outsourcing of censorship. Fact-check portrays immigrant crime as “far-right” obsession.”

  11. Jonathan: Despite your frequent claims there in NO “alliance with the government and corporations in favor of censorship and blacklisting”. The press briefing involving WP reporter Wootson and Jean-Pierre refutes your claim. J-P pointed out that what a “private company”, like the WP, does to counter disinformation and misinformation is within the prerogative of the press and there is no “alliance” with government to censor anyone. What J-P was apparently urging is that the press point out and refute disinformation whenever it is encountered. That does not amount to “censorship”.

But that doesn’t stop you from falsely claiming the WP “has long run columns supporting censorship”…and “it has become one of the most hostile newspapers to free speech values”. When the WP spends time fact-checking or pointing out disinformation and misinformation by DJT on Truth Social or when he appeared on X with Elon Musk, that is not censorship. Isn’t that one of the obligations of a “free press”?

But you seem to think when independent media flags lies by DJT that is a “free speech” violation. How can that possibly be the case? The mainstream press has a right under the First Amendment to tell its readers when a candidate for the presidency is misleading voters with provable lies. Voters have a right to accurate information about any candidate. Isn’t that’s what “free speech” is all about and really the true “America issue”?

    1. “Despite your frequent claims there in NO “alliance with the government and corporations in favor of censorship and blacklisting”.
      ROFL

So the Twiftter files is one great fake ?

The various groups that have been shut down for violating the constitution – never happened ?
The Supreme court did not rule 9-0 against NYS for using third parties to engage in censorship ?

The myriads of democrats in congress trying to claim that the obvious collusion between the press, social media and governemnt was OK – because no actual force was used – actual order were not give – just threats and intimidation.

“The press briefing involving WP reporter Wootson and Jean-Pierre refutes your claim. J-P pointed out that what a “private company”, like the WP, does to counter disinformation and misinformation is within the prerogative of the press and there is no “alliance” with government to censor anyone. What J-P was apparently urging is that the press point out and refute disinformation whenever it is encountered. That does not amount to “censorship”.”

Dennis – KJP was LYING – as she has done myriads of times – it was not unusual, and pretty much no one beleives her.
She has been lying since before she became press secretary – she is one of the many left wing talking heads who have told us for years that Biden was competent.

No one beleive KJP – except perhaps you.

Further truth is not determined by what people say – but what actually occuired.

The twitter files exposed the WH and otyher parts of this asdministration – begging and threatening twitter to censor hundreds of thousands of accounts and Millions of posts. And we know that much the same happened at FB and elsewhere.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
      Joseph Geobels.

    2. “hat doesn’t stop you from falsely claiming the WP “has long run columns supporting censorship””
Not false – they actually have. Even you have and continue to support censorship.

You have repeatedly told us that various forms of censorship are OK.

“When the WP spends time fact-checking or pointing out disinformation and misinformation by DJT on Truth Social or when he appeared on X with Elon Musk, that is not censorship.”
Correct – and when they get it wrong – as they nearly always do – it is called LYING.

    3. “Isn’t that one of the obligations of a “free press”?”

The job of the press is to report the truth – not a particular point of view – the MSM has failed at that – that is why they have to so often correct their own fact checks.

“But you seem to think when independent media flags lies by DJT”
What independent media – when ideology colors your reporting – you are not independent.
      What “lies” ?

We have listened to this garbage for 8 years – and yet time after time it is YOU, and the left that has gotten caught lying.

The miracle is that ANYONE beleives you about anything.

    4. “The mainstream press has a right under the First Amendment to tell its readers when a candidate for the presidency is misleading voters with provable lies.”
That is true – of course there is the problem that you have no unproveable lies – much less any proveable ones.
The people caught lying all the time – are you and the left and the MSM.

You told us Biden was competent for 8 years.

” Voters have a right to accurate information about any candidate.”
False. There is no right to information accurate or not.
No right exists that imposes an affirmative duty on others.

Voters are entitled to whatever information they can get. That is all.

” Isn’t that’s what “free speech” is all about and really the true “America issue”?”

No it is not. The moment you use words like accurate and true – you open the doors to exactly what we have the delusional left censoring the actual truth because of their biases.

NYT just release a small trove of documents providing further evidence of Biden syndicate influence pedalling that it has had since 2015.

The truth was available and the press did NOT provide it.
They were not obligated to, and the public does not have a right to the truth.

Free speech is the right to speak must anything -= even lies. Because if you are barred from saying anything. Those with power who wish to shut you down can say that what you said is something barred whether it is or not.

Free speech includes the right to lie, because if it did not all one would need to do to censor is call something a lie.

Which is exactly what YOU do all the time.

I call you a liar – constantly – because you are one.

I do not call for your censorship.

If I can censor you for lying, others can censor me for telling the truth, merely by calling it a lie.

  12. It is actually amusing watching leftists meltdown over the Musk Trump interview. They show us all how un-democratic, un-American and anti-Constitution they really are.
WaPo, like the NYT are nothing more than the DNC propaganda machine. Thankfully we all know and see the failing machine they are.

    1. According to CNN, the BBC and MSN, Trump told at least 20 HUGE lies during the phony Musk/Trump interview. Trump lies so consistently that mainstream media doesn’t even report it any more–but they should–every single lie. If they did, those stories would dominate the news. Yet, how many stories were done on Biden’s mis-speaking and the fake claims about Governor Walz abandoning the service after 24 years? Trump is a pathological liar–almost everything he says is a lie, and was debunked before he said it. He repeats the same lies ove and over again–it’s his vaudeville act. The real propaganda machine is MAGA media. No one is “melting down” over the Musk/Trump interview except Republicans. They agree that Trump is his own worst enemy. The more he talks, the more Americans are reminded of why most of us did not vote for him in 2016 and 2020. When he tells whoppers like the Willie Brown near-death helicopter crash–something to which there are numerous witnesses and the falsity of which cannot be denied–MAGA media ignores it. Just like all MAGAs, everything is an us-vs. the Left motif. It’s what conditioning does–it takes away your ability to reason. Trump is a loser and liar.

      1. “When he tells whoppers like the Willie Brown near-death helicopter crash–something “

The crazy lady can’t understand that if totally true, confusing one politician with another about an episode 30-40 years ago is meaningless. This is her claim to fame showing that Trump is a liar. Only a crazy person would believe that, so we can let the crazy lady draw her ridiculous conclusions.

She has yet to provide a series of significant lies that Trump hadn’t opinionated or corrected. The crazy lady has TDS, so the rest of her brain has ceased functioning while she engages in desperate attempts to tarnish his reputation.

        1. S. Meyer,
Sad part is her TDS has consumed her so much, it has become an obsession. Not very healthy really.
Biden’s lies on the other hand, actually have had a real impact on everyday American’s. Bidenomics and Bidenflation are hurting Americans everyday. The damage done by Biden may not be fixed anytime soon, no matter who is in the WH or controls Congress.
And Harris getting elected would be yet another gift to our enemies.

        2. “…confusing one politician with another about an episode 30-40 years ago is meaningless…”

Nice try genius. Trump made it up in order to say he knew Willie Brown (which didn’t) and Brown told him horrible things about Kamala (which he didn’t). All made up. And MAGA trash drinks Trump’s verbal diarrhea with relish. Time to wipe Trump’s dreck off your face.

          1. You are reading one’s mind, which is a stupid act when you get things third-hand. But since you think it’s Trump’s big lie, it demonstrates how truthful Trump must be.

The only question remains whether your IQ added to Gigi’s comes close to a three-digit number.

      2. “Trump told at least 20 HUGE lies during the phony Musk/Trump interview.”

Then you would be able to provide each of those lies. and prove they were lies.

We have been through this with you before.
What you call lies is what reality calls facts.

What you call lies, is anything you do not like.

      3. “Trump lies so consistently that mainstream media doesn’t even report it any more”
        ROFL

“but they should–every single lie. If they did, those stories would dominate the news.”
If those stories would dominate the news – then the news would run them.
When the media quits doing something it is because it does not work.

You and the media are the little boy who cried wolf.
You been caught in so many lies no one beleives you.

      4. ” Yet, how many stories were done on Biden’s mis-speaking”
Not enough – because people like yuou continued to beleive he was competent.

“the fake claims about Governor Walz abandoning the service after 24 years? ”
Which is what he did. He is also entitled to.
However he quit during a period that he had committed to serve 2 more years.
He did so after learning that his unit would likely be deployed to combat,
        but before they received orders.

And he lied about his rank. He was an acting CSM who would become an actual CSM when he completed the requirements for the position. He left early failing to complete those requirement as so was discharged with a LOWER rank. He has subsequently lied repeatedly about his rank. He has done so as candidate, as a representative, and as governor.

These are not huge lies. But they are lies.

To most people they are not important. People pad their resume all the time.
But to people in the service – particularly people with a military carreer this stuff is incredibly important. \

You can be dishonerably discharged or even jailed for misrepresenting your rank or service while in the service.

The code of Conduct at the West Point, Airfroce, Naval academies is “I will not lie or tolerate those who do”
John McCain graduated from the naval academy with the worst record in history – but he graduated.
He violated just about every rule the acadmeny has – EXCEPT the one about lying.

regardless, the criticism of Walz’s claims about his service are true.

        Walz has altered his bio.

“Trump is a pathological liar–almost everything he says is a lie, and was debunked before he said it. He repeats the same lies ove and over again–it’s his vaudeville act”
Then again you would be able to prove that – little girl who cried wolf.

“The real propaganda machine is MAGA media. No one is “melting down” over the Musk/Trump interview except Republicans.”
I do not hear any republicans calling it a disaster. There were some technical issues and left wing nuts tried to kill it with a DDOS.
But ultimately the interview occured and people listened and outside left wing talking heads took it well.

” They agree that Trump is his own worst enemy.”
And yet half the country is voting for him.

“The more he talks, the more Americans are reminded of why most of us did not vote for him in 2016 and 2020.”
Then you should quit trying to silence him and let him talk.

Republicans WANT harris to talk – they KNOW that she will tank if she does.
Trump talkks at \rallies, to reporters, to Musk on social media every day
        and he is doing fine.

“When he tells whoppers like the Willie Brown near-death helicopter crash–something to which there are numerous witnesses and the falsity of which cannot be denied–MAGA media ignores it. ”
Then you would be able to provide evidence that what Trump actually said was a “:Whopper”

“Just like all MAGAs, everything is an us-vs. the Left motif.”
Yes, you set that up – you have repeated called Trump and supporters and the republican platform a treat to the contry and to democracy.

Of course this is MAGA vs the left – YOU made it that way.

” It’s what conditioning does–it takes away your ability to reason.”
And here we are with Gigi the least able to reason person on the blog lectiuring us all about reasoning.

        1. “I do not hear any republicans calling it a disaster. There were some technical issues and left wing nuts tried to kill it with a DDOS.”

If there was a DDOS, why was nothing else on X having problems?

You are wrong, check it out, this was a lie because Musk, like trump, can’t admit they f–ked up.

    2. I’m going to love watching Trump lose and then get tried for his crimes.

        1. And when he gets sentenced I’m going to love knowing you are utterly miserable.

  13. Turley clearly missed the ‘yelling fire in a crowded theater’ part of the lecture….

Except of course on his blog comments where outright censorship based entirely on reasons of personality has often been encouraged. Or with using paid trolls to attempt to cyber intimidate posters for being on the left…

But that stuff doesn’t count, right?

  14. It is time to stop treating supporters of censorship as intelligent, informed people. They are either stupid or ignorant or both – as is the case with the Washington Post reporter. An intelligent, informed person would offer a cogent rebuttal to “misinformation”.

The censors, and their supporters, can not formulate a cogent rebuttal, so they silence the people with whom they disagree. They are stupid and/or ignorant.

  15. Isn’t the President using note cards with the few selectreporters already chosen,
the questions and answers written on the cards (so hopefully the Pres. wouldn’t f*ck up),
another form of censorship? Then also filtered through biased media. It’s all about controlling the narrative.

  16. Judges more favorable to some points of view. That is new is it not? Is that jurisdiction shopping? You mean republicans get to do that also. That, that, that is almost revolutionary!

    1. Definitely not new.
Go back to the Old West, for example.
“Judge _____ is always up for a hanging,” etc.

    2. GEB, what does having a different judge have to do with the subject at hand. What we have is a major newspaper asking why the Republican party is not being censored and you tell us about a judge in an Elon Musk case and somehow screw up your thought process to relate it to censorship. It’s not surprising that this guy asked why there wasn’t more censorship when he hears it in the Washington Post newsroom every day. He might as well have asked, why hasn’t there been more censorship and why hasn’t the Biden administration put more people in jail for spreading disinformation? If you think that draconian penalties won’t follow for spreading disinformation you are a fool.

      1. Thinkitthrough-I was replying to a previous comment but unfortunately the Name of the person I was responding to did not get attached to my comment, so I agree it was out of place and made no sense in the stream of thoughts on this blog. Sometimes s—t happens.

      2. * …what is the WH doing? asks Mr Wootsen.

KJP responds, for one thing, we’re looking for a better shooter.

  17. Bob f boston- you raise a nice point and people should think and I appreciate Musk trying to stimulate more thinking. As is Professor Turley, although I do not always agree with him. The Professor sometimes shows an almost childlike love of rationality and thought in an irrational age. Exercise, fresh air and sunshine is almost always a good prescription, unless you have hay fever.
If you’re from Boston as your moniker suggests I’ll just say it was my favorite place for Continuing Medical Education for about 3 decades. Great place for walking, interesting neighborhoods, and the Harvard CME was always the best.

    If intentional, it is evil.

    If unintentional, they’re idiots.

  19. Don’t you just love those that love free speech until they don’t love free speech.

US District Judge Reed O’Connor today recused himself from Elon Musk’s lawsuit, which alleges that advertisers targeted X with an illegal boycott.

O’Connor was apparently Musk’s preferred judge in the lawsuit filed last week against the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) and several large corporations. In order to land O’Connor, the Musk-owned X Corp. sued in the Wichita Falls division of the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

“Musk’s preferred judge”? What they hey? You mean some judges are more favorable to you than others? Who would have thought.

    1. Anonymous talking about favorable judges thats a kick. She didn’t squeal about favorable judges when it came to the Trump trials. In those trials Anonymous was nowhere to be found calling out for blind justice. Anonymous’ problem is that she eats Hipocriteos for breakfast every morning and the results are a reoccurring flatulation of the brain that wafts over these comments and remains for days never ending. A change of diet would be much appreciated but alas I am under no illusion that the pungent wafting will ever reach a conclusion. A holding of ones nose is recommended.

      1. TiT,
That is why it is best to just scroll past. Nothing anony writes is worth reading. Just scroll past.

        1. Upstate still butthurt from Anonymous calling him on his bias
and OT confirmation bias distractions, shilling for Trump, etc.
Upstate has also posted as ‘Anonymous’ before, so…
