For weeks, politicians and pundits have engaged in a ghoulish effort to blame every plane accident on the Trump Administration, even accidents that occurred within the first weeks of the Trump Administration. Hillary Clinton led the effort by bizarrely suggesting that the collision of the airliner and the helicopter over the Potomac was due to the changes in Trump’s policies. The spin showed utter contempt for the intelligence of the public since there was no evidence that the Trump Administration policies had any impact on the accidents.
Nevertheless, the press and pundits fueled the false narrative by citing various accidents in January. That narrative then collapsed after CNN and other media outlets acknowledged that there were actually fewer accidents in January than average and that the Biden Administration saw more accidents during the same period.
The attempt to use these tragedies for raw political advantage is appalling. However, it also shows the complete disregard for the intelligence of voters in suggesting the nexus between the change of Administration and airplane accidents shortly after the inauguration.
It does not matter that Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy was not confirmed until January 28, 2025, less than 24 hours before the accident over the Potomac.
Nevertheless, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and others immediately weaponized that and later tragedies.
Schumer was joined by media figures like former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan, who later was compelled to delete a tweet on Sunday, Feb. 16 in which he wrote “Make American Plane Crash Again.” Like others, Hasan was connecting a small plane crash in Georgia to the start of the Trump Administration.
Then there was Rep. Eric Swalwell. We have previously discussed the bottomless pit of Swalwellian logic, such as shutting down the government to prevent government shutdowns.
The logic tree was felled again by Swalwell in blaming the Trump Administration for the crash in Georgia: “Trump is President. President Trump is in charge of air safety. All crashes are Trump’s fault.”
The only problem, as pointed out by CNN, is that air travel overall was better in January than prior such periods:
“In fact, if the preliminary numbers hold, January 2025 will surpass the previous record for the lowest number of total accidents, with eight fewer than the prior record low of 70 from January 2012.”
Does that mean that all aircraft safety like aircraft accidents are attributed to Trump? Of course not. Not only have no changes been made that have impacted the air traffic controllers in these cases, but none of the proposals would reduce those controllers.
The most bizarre was the effort to blame Trump for an accident where a plane flipped over in Canada.
On NBC, Tom Costello observed “as you know there has been talk about maybe staff cuts at the FAA as a part of President Trump’s effort to trim down the federal workforce.”
This is becoming a policy version of Six Degrees from Kevin Bacon. Every airport accident can be traced within six degrees of DOGE or Duffy.
It is very easy. Just take any airline mishap anywhere in the world and then trace it back to the United States and Sean Duffy. For example, there was also a water main break at the airport at Fort McMurray International Airport in Alberta. Ready? Go…
If you are struggling, just watch Schumer who is the most nimble at this game.
“I’m thankful that everyone in the flight incident in Toronto that took off from Minneapolis is safe, but we keep seeing these incidents day after day. Meanwhile, Trump’s doing massive layoffs at the FAA – including safety specialists – and making our skies less and less safe…Democrats are fighting to protect the flying public…To those asking whether it matters that the plane’s destination was in Canada: The flight took off from Minneapolis. The FAA was still responsible for inspecting the aviation equipment, and Trump just let go of FAA safety specialists.”
Done. Six degrees to Duffy.

I remember the good old days on this blog when JT provided posts of important legal, political, foreign or domestic interest and the topics were then debated in the comment section, primarily from either a liberal (Democrat) or conservative (Republican) worldview. Facts, evidence, citations were often asked for and provided to support an argument. Of course there were outliers, radical left and radical right commenters, but certainly not of much consequence to the debates.
My oh my have times changed. While JT hasn’t, the comments section has. It has become a virtual landfill. I admit that I have enjoyed picking amongst the garbage to find facts, evidence and citations revealing the truth, but I don’t even need to enter this landfill any longer to know what I will find; Conservatives playing a game of Whack a Mole with crazy people.
Olly, I think that often a worthy adversary is more valuable than a worthy friend. That’s the shame of what you point out. We have no worthy adversaries on this blog. The left leaning comments fall into one or more of J H L S – juvenile, hysterical, lies, or shallow.
If you want a worthy adversary, request that Professor Turley and Darren end the ban of Jeff Silberman from this blog (a ban since 7/28/22 is long enough).
…. he says while comments today include the use of referring to Democrats as “vermin” and “parasites” – a classic antisemitic slurs amplified by our dear leader.
But, yes, the crazy is only coming from the left.
the use of referring to Democrats as “vermin” and “parasites”
commonly found in a landfill.
Oh look… another TRUMP IS VIRTUALLY HITLER, brought here from their Dear Leaders!
And apparently that is “a classic antisemitic slur”, supposedly coming directly from our dear leader, President Trump.
That would be the Trump – Hitler that orchestrated the Abrahamic Peace Accords while Obama and Biden empowered their Dear Foreign Leaders, Iran’s Mad Mullah’s in Iran, the genocidal terrorists vowing to finish Hitler’s goal to exterminate the world’s Jews and Israel.
Trump’s greatest crime as far as the Anonymous Democrat New Hitler Youth Movement is concerned is that he didn’t keep Netanyahu waiting like a dog in a White House mud room, while he wandered off to eat supper with his family for a few hours as Obama did. Followed by Trump refusing to continue Biden’s blocking of military aid to Israel after the October 7th genocidal butchery by Biden’s allies in Hamas.
They can’t even recognize ‘crazy’ or ‘Nazi’ when it is staring back at them from a mirror.
You could say that most of our host’s columns here on his blog are now basically clickbait, re-stating the obvious.
Possibly why there are fewer of us here every year from the very beginning like Karen S.
The resident Democrat Three Stooges and their clown short bus aren’t even useful as adversaries to sharpen your fangs on.
While JT hasn’t, the comments section has.
🎯
However, the readership of the blog has grown a great deal, according to JT. Consequently you could focus on the lurkers.
I learned about lurkers back in 1990s when I ran a Catholic list (majordomo listserve), and then published websites. I often heard privately via email and sometimes at public gatherings from lurkers, telling me how they looked forward to my comments. When I asked them to publicly comment, their response was always the same. They preferred to be lurkers. The same was and is still true when I lecture at the university, in clinic, at church, etc. Few will raise their hand but after the lecture they approach me privately. To date none have thrown tomatoes.
Lurkers are a viable audience even if they rarely comment.
Point taken Estovir. I’ve become more of the lurker variety then.
Thanks for this Estovir, it is good to know.

The antithetical, anti-American, anti-Constitution communists (liberals, progressives, socialists, democrats, RINOs, AINOs) are the direct and mortal enemies of the American thesis of Freedom and Self-Reliance, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, actual Americans, and America.
The communists (liberals, progressives, socialists, democrats, RINOs, AINOs) aren’t upset about plane crashes; the communists (liberals, progressives, socialists, democrats, RINOs, AINOs) are livid to the point of psychosis about the crash of communism and the welfare state and the re-implementation of the Freedom and Self-Reliance of the Constitution.
https://www.forbes.com/sites/suzannerowankelleher/2025/02/03/air-traffic-controllers-exempt-trump-buyout/
Despite what you read in right wing media, the intention was to include ATC in the buyout proceedings. It was only after the union and airlines pushed back that they were exempted. Thus, yes, the goal of the Trump administration was to reduce the number of air traffic controllers.
If you chalk this up to a mistake, who is ultimately responsible for massive mistakes like this? Perhaps Duffy is a DEI hire. (Whatever that means these days)?
@Anonymous
Nobody here is reading ‘right wing media’, but apparently you can’t get enough of lapping up ‘left wing media’. Believe it or not, we form our own opinions based on what is actually happening, without ever watching ‘the news’.
Nobody cares, man. Let it go. Sanity won, and will again. You are a lost cause. If there were an emoji for, ‘cardboard sign on a street corner’, you would be it’s natural recipient.
James,
That is why it is just best to scroll past the mindless noise.
Easier to stay in your bubble. Enjoy your “safe space” free from the heartache of reasoned inquiry.
Reasoned inquiry would be awesome. That’s not what we get here from the left leaning commenters. We get lies, hysteria, juvenile flames, and shallowness. I’ve been waiting years for an intelligent, honest liberal to come on here and engage in good faith. I’m still waiting.
They have. They are met with insults like “crybaby loser pedophile.” But you’re a-okay with that. Haven’t seen you once ask your side to tone it down.
OldManFromKS,
Well said. But I also think a few or one of our anonymous are not a leftist but just spews garbage to clutter up the good professor’s blog. I also think it responds to it’s own comments as anonymous to make it appear even more juvenile.
@Upstate
I don’t disagree, but a great many more people are reading this blog than comment. Differing opinions are great; the shills, not so much, and I like that we self-correct without censoring. The dialogue is always important, to me, anyway.
Apparently, you didn’t read Turley’s blog post. He said: “Not only have no changes been made that have impacted the air traffic controllers in these cases, but none of the proposals would reduce those controllers.”
That is clearly NOT TRUE, as OPM confirmed that the emails went out to all federal employees prior to ATCs being explicitly excluded from the offer.
As Trump is a Fox contributor, his news is filtered. It leads to erroneous statements like the one included in this post.
Look, I want government waste to be checked – the right way. Not by bumbling fool, acting in reckless disregard for our institutions.
I posted a hypo a few days ago, asking readers how they would respond to a future Democratic president slashing the defense budget unilaterally without congressional authorization. The response was — “We would need to impeach that president if that happens.” Well, I apparently predicted the future, but it is this administration that is doing exactly that. Are you all rushing to impeach Trump now?
@Anonymous
You are an idiot. Everyone thinks so. Stop fouling the air here, provide a point more salient than, ‘You all are Fox News watching morons!’. I do not recall ever having watched Fox News in my entire life. And I think you are a toad. I only knew who Tucker Carlson was after he started his own thing (and I don’t particularly like him). Nobody is buying your boosheet, YOU are the problem.
Much easier to attack the person than the point.
Is Turley accurate that the federal government made no proposals that were aimed at cutting federal workers, including air traffic controllers? yes or no? Pretty simple question…
“Is Turley accurate that the federal government made no proposals that were aimed at cutting federal workers, including air traffic controllers? yes or no? Pretty simple question…”
You are correct the question is simple – YOU are lying. Turley did not say ” the federal government made no proposals that were aimed at cutting federal workers”
He DID say that the president has a great deal of latitude in cutting federal workers.
I would note that your ATC fixation PROVES the president has the power to fire these people.
Con you find anywhere in the budget where Congress specified the number of ATC’s
Trump’s EO laying off large numbers of government employees made specific exceptions in areas where decisions are complex.
Trump missed ATC’s as part of that group.
But even now the exclusion of ATC’s does not mean Trump can not fire ATC’s, just that in order to follow the law and provide safe sky’s Trump is chosing to deal with ATC’s on an individual basis. Alot will STILL be fired.
I would expect that all probationary ATC’s that performed poorly on ATC application exams and were hired for reasons other than merit will be dismissed. Trump is also seeking to retain existing ATCs or bring back ones that were forced to retire.
He will likely hire more ATC’s – on Merit not other basis. There may be more ATC’s there probably will be less ATC’s when Trump is done. Regardless that is NOT congresses or anyone else’s business. The Staffing of ATC’s is a purely executive function.
Trump can be sued by congress or impeached – but not for hiring or firing ATC’s but for waste, fraud, or incompetence.
Trump is required to keep air travel RELATIVELY safe.
He is not required to hire Trans ATC’s or a specific number of them.
Again SO WHAT ?
OPM sent an email, and then rescinded the offer. Big deal.
“As Trump is a Fox contributor, his news is filtered. ”
Trump is not a fox contributor, Turley is. Because you have made an error – can we shoot you at dawn ?
Your suffering from Accute TDS.
Trump makes mistakes – as do his people or sometimes all the details are not resolved instantly. SO WHAT ?
Everyone makes trivial mistakes – and that is all this is.
The reason people picked Trump over harris or biden is not because Trump and his people make fewer mistakes.
It is because over the course of 4 years – whatever mistakes they made they corrected most of them and they did not ruin a perfectly good economy. They did not create almost double digit inflation and they did not leave us with a high risk of hyper inflation.
I am not upset with Trump or Musk – I am upset with both republicans and democrats in Congress who seem to think that spending cuts of 1.6T over a DECADE (and that is over a baseline that automatically increased by 1% over inflation every year) is sufficient.
We need $1.6T cut from spending NOW!
And all those cuts have to go to DEFICIT reduction.
I have ZERO propblem with Trump’s tax plan – as he campaigned. Contra left wingnuts that has little or no cost.
It costs more to collect taxes on tips than is raised. Taxes on Social Security are already inconsequential.
Cutting taxes on overtime will increase standard of living and boost the economy.
Returning federal spending cuts to tax payers is politically brilliant – it builds on popular support. But it does not solve our deficit problems.
And we MUST do that, and the sooner the better.
Every year we wait the cuts required will be greater and the pain higher and the time before we are past that pain will get longer.
“It leads to erroneous statements like the one included in this post.”
A microsopic and meaningless error in an excellent post.
“Look, I want government waste to be checked – the right way.”
We are WAY past doing it YOUR way.
There is no RIGHT way.
There are just different consequences of different ways.
You can play your micromanagement game – and in a few years the US will find itself where Agrentina is and will have to slash and burn government.
The bigger the cuts NOW – the less pain there will be later.
” Not by bumbling fool, acting in reckless disregard for our institutions.”
The institutions you revere are THE PROBLEM.
Never has public confidence in those institutions been lower.
I would further note that the amount of waste and Fraud that DOGE is finding is significantly beyond most peoples worst assessment.
More than a decade ago Harvard economist Robert Barro found that Govenrment spending is about 65-75% waste – not just the US, but in the EU too. Waste in the EU is likely lower – because the EU is more of a monoculture – they have a fraction of the diversity the US does, and therefore they get better compliance and less waste and fraud. That is how monocultures work.
I know it is hard for those on the left to grasp but Diversity is NOT free.
I personally value diversity – I think it is NET positive. But the greater diversity the SMALLER government must be the fewer laws we can have. Why ? Because we have a smaller set of shared values. When Biden transported Afghans to the US in 2021, he brought alot of 55yr old men with 13yr old wives. That is OK in afghanistan. It is criminal in the US.
The more diverse a country is the fewer shared values it has the more crime it has the more waste it has the more fraud it has.
But the more creative it is, the more innovative it is. The more rapid the rise in standard of living.
The POINT is that everything involves tradeoffs.
We can as you wish go slower, more carefully, make fewer mistakes as we cut government spending.
And debt will rise faster, it will be impossible to bring inflation under control, standard of living will grow slower – if at all.
It may actually have gone down under Biden after inflation.
Your claim that we should proceed slower is a PREFERENCE – it is NOT some clearly established Truth.
Musk slashed between 70-90% of Twitter – and Contra the left – twitter is doing fine.
Worse for the left Meta and other SM giants have slowly followed suit.
Why ? Because musk proved that enormous human overhead in SM and massive content moderation was NOT necessary.
I know this is difficult for those on the left to grasp but standard of living rising REQUIRES less human effort to deliver MORE that humans value.
That means working more efficiently is a REQUIREMENT for improving the human condition.
Conversely employing people to spin their wheels or to do things that people do not value makes us all POORER.
“I posted a hypo a few days ago, asking readers how they would respond to a future Democratic president slashing the defense budget ”
Trump is looking to slash waste and fraud from defense – I support that. If a democrat president did that – I would support it.
This highlights the problem with the left on this entire mess.
The president can not close bases that Congress wants opened – even if that is a bad idea.
The president can not decide to buy less F35’s than Congress budgeted – presuming that Congress actually specified the number of F35’s.
The president can not eliminate departments offices and agencies that were created by, authorized by and budgeted by congress.
But with ZERO doubt the president can stop ALL fraudulent spending.
He can also stop ALL waste.
If Congress approved 100 F35’s and 100M ea. The president is perfectly free to get the cost down to 70M ea. and not spend the additional 30M.
“unilaterally without congressional authorization.”
There is a great deal with respect to spending that the president can do without congressional authorization.
I would further note that – congress HAS authorized all of what Trump is doing ?
How do we know ? Silence is consent.
You claim that the response to a president slashing defence spending against the statutorially expressed will of congress is to impeach.
While that is always an option – it is not likely the first one.
The first option – beyond speaking out, would be for CONGRESS to seek an injunction against the president.
Govenrment employees have standing with respect to their employment.
They likely will lose, but they have standing
States and private citizens do not have standing regarding spending.
But Congress does.
Congress has not gone to court to thwart Trump’s spending – therefore legally they have consented to it.
“The response was — “We would need to impeach that president if that happens.””
That is incorrect – while the house can impeach for any reason at all or no reason – there is no check on the impeachment power of congress beyond whether the senate acts.
Impeachment is NEVER the proper starting point.
If a president is defying congress – congress can go to court.
Courts can not hear cases and controversies brought to it by third parties.
The budget is between the president and congress.
Only congress can challenge the presidents spending decisions.
Congress can either pas spending laws – when those that already exist are not sufficiently clear, or when the president finds a loophole.
Or congress can go to court.
It has done neither.
I would note that if congress passes new legislation – the executive can also go to court.
And ultimately The courts will sort things out – following the constitution.
There is no doubt congress has absolute control over the budget.
But there is also no doubt that the president has the power to cut waste and fraud.
The president loses with respect to his fiscal choices when his actions frustrate the legislative objectives of congress.
Congress has not blessed DEI spending or trans opera’s in Columbia.
Congress has not set federal staffing levels.
The courts will have to sort out the constitutional issues – as an example EXCEPT for specific offices covered by the appointments clause.
The presidents power to hire and fire is pretty much absolute. Congress can not infringe on that.
If is near certain that SCOTUS – if they decide any of this on the merits rather than standing.
Will rule that the president can not cut spending to frustrate the statutory objectives of congress in the budget.
That is what the Nixon impoundment case was about.
But SCOTUS is not going to rule that the president must spend every penny budgeted by congress if he can acheive budget objectives by spending less.
Setting the budget is the domain of the legislature. Accomplishing legislative goals is the executives role.
Doing so efficiently with minimal fraud and waste is a purely executive role.
John Say,
Great comment.
The house is not impeaching the president.
Nor are they taking the more rational step of challenging his cuts in court.
Therefore they have CONSENTED to his cuts.
So What ?
debt is over $36T
it is 15% of GDP.
Studies by Reinhart and Roggoff back in 2006 showed that debt at 80% of GDP was a tipping point and dramatically negatively impacts growth above that.
Japan has a debt to GDP ration of 200% and has seen no economic growth in decades.
Debt in the EU has been higher than the US – and growth has been about 1/2% lower
Growth in the US has been pathetic in the 21st century due to high debt, too large govenrment and too much regulation.
But we have STILL grown faster than most of the develoed world – which has higher debt, larger govenrment and more regulation.
Numerous other studies have found that each additional 10% of GDP that government consumes reduces the rise in standard of living by 1%.
Whether those of you on the left like it or not we need to SLASH government. Government spending, government regulation. Government employment.
Not a single recent crash had ANYTHING to do with the FAA or ATC.
The Blackhawk was 125 feet higher than it was allowed.
The CJ in canada landed 50% harder than a F14 on a carrier and broke its landing gear and wings.
The airlerons on the lear jet in Philly jambed – that was almost certainly a maintanence and inspection issue
But the aircraft was owned, maintained and inspected in … Mexico.
At the same time – perfection is not acheivable.
There will be plane crashes in the future – though air travel is still safer than cars or even walking.
Nor is paying ridiculous amounts to reduce crashes affordable either.
If we could make a car that was perfectly safe – but it cost $1M each – no one would buy it.
The same is true everywhere – perfection is not affordable.
When we are deluded into beleiving it is we impoversih ourselves in other areas.
Which is what we are doing – the rate of increase of standard of living for the 1st qtr of the 21st century in the US is 1% lower than the last quarter of the 20th century or even the 20th century average.
One percent does not sound like much but that is PER YEAR. We have LOST atleast one doubling of standard of living in the 21st century compared to the past. And the reason for that is BLOATED GOVERNMENT.
So YES absolutely cut the FAA and the ATC. I am perfectly willing to a few more fatal airline accidents for the other gains that rising standard of living means – longer life span better treatment of cancers, more diseases cured, better quality of life.
The above-entitled “Democratic Spin” is unfortunately one-and-the-same as the “MEDIA spin” controlling our access to information. Thinking on the Tom Costellos of the world, and the dominance of politically-inspired MSM empires, I want to say that one of the major improvements to come out of this, –at least on the Internet,– is the trend toward replacing biased site-operated “fact-checkers” with “community notes,” particularly at X and Meta.
The good professor Turley has been way ahead of that for years, -allowing real-time truth-seekers and clowns to intermingle and call each other out on this blog site every day. I’m all for letting the clowns clown. But I agree that identifying monikers should replace the ubiquitous “anonymi.”
Maybe a dedicated portion of a televised news screen–kind of like SNL’s Eddie Murphy interpreting the news for impaired viewers in the lower right-hand corner of the screen, —could be reserved for LIVE tomato-throwing emojis/memes or a ticker-tape emoji strip moving along the bottom of the screen while Costello, et al, tells the world at large why Trump is to blame.

Resolving paterns on 13 root name servers and historical Buffer patterns to identify User Datagram Protocol (UDP) and Anycast with Grok 3 resolver software.
Grok 3 was unveiled on February 17. According to Elon Musk, it is “the smartest AI on Earth.”
But what makes it so powerful?
Grok 3 has been trained on the Colossus supercomputer with 100K Nvidia H100 GPUs. According to one stat, it has been trained for 200 million GPU hours. The key capabilities of Grok 3 are coding, science research, problem-solving, creating marketing campaigns, personalized assistance, and API integration.
Some special features of Grok 3 are:
1 – DeepSearch: Allows Grok to search the web and X posts for real-time data and information.
2 – Think Mode: Decompose complex queries into steps just like human problem-solving.
3 – Big Brain Mode: A heavy-duty mode for intensive tasks like simulations, data analysis, or reasoning.
Here’s how Grok 3 possibly works:
1 – Grok 3 supports multi-modal inputs. The user can ask questions as text, upload images, or talk to Grok. The inputs are tokenized to initiate processing.
2 – Synthetic data training enhances the query interpretation.
3 – This is fed to the core transformer model that analyzes the input.
4 – The core transformer issues a search directive to DeepSearch to retrieve necessary information from the web or real-time X data.
5 – Next, a self-correct process ensures accuracy through an internal feedback loop.
6 – Depending on the user’s input, the Think Mode or Big Brain Mode refines the responses as required. It might again use DeepSearch to find more information.
7 – The answers are delivered to the user in a multimodal manner.
Note that these details are based on piecing together information from xAI blogs about Grok and new feature announcements. More details may be revealed in the coming days.

Trump is strategically planning not to lose the next war.
Trump is planning not to have a next war.
Aesop’s Fable ‘The Wolf, the Fox, and the Ape’:
“A wolf accused a fox of theft, but he entirely denied the charge. An ape undertook to judge the matter between them. When each had fully stated his case, the ape pronounced this sentence: “I do not think you, wolf, ever lost what you claim, and I do believe you, fox, to have stolen what you so stoutly deny.”
The dishonest, if they act honestly, get no credit.”
And the last sentence of ‘The Ass and the Frogs’
“Men often bear little grievances with less courage than they do large misfortunes.”
The Left is, it seems, always in a state of disagreement, deliriously using fabrication of facts and outright lies to support their Truths.
Typically air accidents are as a result of a string of events – in some historic accidents up to 32. The current airplane operating environment is so layered with safety systems, processes, and procedures that it is next to impossible for the occurrence of a genuine single cause catastrophic accident. This layering has been the result of a enterprise wide learning process that has implemented changes to equipment (technology), operations (human factors), and regulations over a span of 7 decades of commercial jet transport. Even in cases where “pilot error” is the identified cause, there are multiple pilot errors involved – the absence of any one could have prevented the accident. In contrast to modern airplanes, the DC8 and 707 jets would be completely uncertifiable using today’s regulatory standards. Significant improvement incorporating lessons learned over the years has been made affecting airline operations as well as air traffic control.
So I am highly skeptical of any quick ascription of a single cause to a catastrophic airplane accident.
Probably need a better caliber of plane mechanics, huh,?
And Trump was a Russian spy. Inflation was temporary. Masks were effective against Covid. Six foot rule was the savior. Yet somehow the believers believe more fervently than ever. My prediction is that TDS will soon become a malady listed by the American Psychiatric Association. Most often, those who require Psychiatric care don’t realize that they are mentally ill. The sane learn at an early age that correlation does not determine causation. In common language those who come to express reasons for things that are not based on reality are simply known as wacko. However, as crazy as they are they are very good at placing your tax dollars in their multiple bank accounts. Now they holler like pigs a squealing when they are caught shoving their way to the troff while the smaller pigs get the leavings. The dark hate the daylight.
@Thnkitthrough
You are so right. It’s both madness and maddening. Makes zero sense. Psychological dysfunction is the only remaining explanation after all of these years.
TiT,
The only thing I can attribute their TDS is a lack of emotional maturity, critical thinking, logic and common sense. Who the heck cheers on fraud, waste and abuse? The grift is there. The best way to beat them is by using facts, logic, common sense.
Beat them? Mass roundup and into soylent green.
I dont eat junk food.
@Upstate
I agree.
And that gets into territory no one is comfortable with: how have we been raising our kids at home in the era of mobile technology (are you aware of how many modern homes that do not contain a single book? It’s many), test scores, and babying/helicoptering?
And believe me: some conservative parents are absolutely the worst offenders when it comes to babying their kids, it isn’t partisan, and ‘conservative values’ are not some kind of magic panacea.
My wife is in education, has been for a good long while, so were and are other members of my family, across both states and countries, and I am sharing experience, in both red and blue districts, because we have moved a lot out of necessity to ill or aging family, not my own flimsy opinion.
In fact, the babying is WORSE on the conservative side with a lot of generational parents (very much conservative parents of a certain age that still ask a 14 year-old if they, ‘Need to go poo-poo.’. Not a joke. Wish it were, real life example, and it is rampant). I see moms out in public of 14 year-olds that I could not distinguish from a girlfriend at times. Leads me to believe this is a *generational issue*, not an ideological one. And that is a problem we have yet to address, and I don’t know how we would. We can make all of the changes we like; if those we pass the torch to don’t understand why, it is a moot exercise. Whimsicalmama, here on this site, has suggested we may just have to let them age out, and I agree; the question is, what do we do in the meantime?
Whatever the case, those of us above them in age do not ever get to rest, not until we stop for good, and yes, I mean death. We created quite the sh** storm with the ‘unicorn’ generation, and we will all have to carry the extra burden to the end, this is likely a fact.
Who? Criminals, of course. This is mythological criminality.
Jonathan: Following up my previous comment DJT’s negative poll numbers are having political consequences for MAGA Congressmen. Take MAGA Congressman Mike McCormick from Georgia. He held a town hall meeting yesterday at the Roswell City Council. He arrived with a skate board under his arm–no doubt to make a speedy exit if the meeting did not go well–and it didn’t.
There was an overflow crowd at the meeting greeting McCormick with jeers and catcalls when the Congressman called for kids to be forced to go to work to earn school lunches. It got even more heated when McCormick defended DJT’s sweeping budget cuts. One attendee got up and called the Congressman out for “doing us a disservice” and “not standing up for us”. Another woman stood up and told McCormick “Tyranny is rising in the White House again and has declared himself our King, so I would like to know , rather the people would like to know, what you, congressman, are going to do to reign in the megalomaniac in the White House?” The woman got a standing ovation. Every time McCormick tried to defend DJT he was met with jeers and protests.
And this is coming from Georgians who voted for DJT. Looks like we are seeing some buyer’s remorse. The crowd at the Georgia town hall meeting was sending a clear message. McCormick works for them, not DJT. And if McCormick doesn’t start representing the interests of his constituents he may soon find himself out of a job!
Dennis McIntyre, the same polls that are saying that Trump policies are unpopular are the polls that said he would not win the election. So here you are regurgitating the same polls that were wrong in both 2016 and 2024. Will you ever discover smart and find your way back to reality or is all hope to be abandoned?
TiT,
Dennis has the same track record of being right as the polls he quotes, zero. Why would anyone believe anyone without any credibility at all?
What planet are you living on? DJT has great poll numbers.
Yep 70% approval
Hey Dennis, Chuck Schumer favorables at 34.3%. You left this little tidbit out of your so information polling data. Thanks for your comment. You are a continuing supporter of your tribe. Perhaps a Nobel prize is in your future??
TiT,
Seeing as how they gave the Nobel Peace prize to Obama for, what again? But I read they will not consider Trump if he were able to broker a peace deal between the Ukraine and Russia. I think a CrackerJack prize might have more value at this point.
Yes, that guy was a true mind bending mind blowing wipe out. The destroyer…
” DJT’s negative poll numbers”
Rassmussen has him at 51%.
Mike McCormick is the senate from PA.
Rick McCormick is the rep who wan hsi district nearly 2:1 in 2024 and faced an astrot urf town hall.
Pretty sure Rick McCormick is not worried about a bunch of angry left wing nuts.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/elections/results/2024/11/05/georgia-house-district-7/
80% of the country – including 69% of democrats want significant budget cuts.
That is true now, it was also true in 2011 when Then Pres. Obama appointed then VP Biden to head his Government efficiency and waste tax force that was supposed to cut the budget by 1.6T
Those of you on the far left are CLUELESS as to where this country is.
You are correct about one thing – Trump is significant less popular than his policies.
So being the idiots that those of you on the left are you go after the incredibly popular policies.
There is an epidemic of obesity among kids today – not starvation. It is WORSE among the poor.
While I am not aware that free school lunches are on the chopping block – and no one beleives that is true – just because you and a bunch of left wing nuts claim it.
I am perfectly fine with killing the federal school lunch programs – its time has passed and like so many federal programs it is doing more harm than good. And I would recomend killing it EVEN if doing so cost money.
Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security are RIFE with waste and more importantly fraud.
Hundreds of billions can be saved without cutting benefits in the slightest for anyone who is not committing fraud.
Democrats appear to be heavily in favor of fraud.
How about you Dennis – are you in favor of Fraud ?
“Mike McCormick”
His name is *Rich* McCormick.
The rest of your screed is equally accurate.
Such as this:
“And this is coming from Georgians who voted for DJT.”
McCormick represents GA’s 7th district, which includes parts of *Atlanta* and *Fulton County*. So take a guess where those “jeers and catcalls” came from.
It’s not left versus right. It’s the elites versus the people. The elites depend for their wealth and power on things like war, fraud, and waste. Trump is the rare politician who might actually do something to reduce all of those things, thus threatening their money supply. The fact such actions would improve life for the people is of no consequence to the elites.
OldManFromKS,
Well said. The sad part is for as much at their ranting about those of us who support the MAGA, America First policy, they clearly support the national and global elites first over themselves. Just look at all the fraud, waste and abuse Musk and DOGE have uncovered and rather than using some common sense they blindly support for more fraud, waste and abuse. How absurd is that?
Is Trump an elite?
Not of the Davos type
OR he may be deep cover and really is.
Personal note– I’m disturbed that the focus is saving money. While it’s a virtue to be thrifty there are actual right and wrong paths.

If you want to see what is behind the Democrat melt-down, read J H Kunstlers piece today, dissecting the money flow, from taxpayers to Democrat party operatives. Horrible:
“The key to understanding how the Democratic Party works is how it uses federal grants to redistribute taxpayer money into jobs programs for its rank-and-file. As seen in the recent USAID scandal, the action revolves around the creation of countless NGOs (non-governmental orgs). They are easily created, poorly supervised, and assembled into large networks of self-serving, inter-dependent organisms whose main mission is paying staffers — and secondarily pretending to do good works, as suggested by a given group’s name is. These staffers make up the matrix of Democratic Party activists, well-paid foot-soldiers in do-nothing jobs who can be called upon to cheer-lead for the party, organize street protests and, most critically, harvest ballots when the time comes.
Stacey Abrams became a kind of field marshal for setting up NGOs around her campaigns for office and then later turned them into money laundromats for the trillions of dollars fire-hosed out of the US Treasury during the Covid-19-darkened “Biden” years. Here are some of Stacy’s NGOs:
· The New Georgia Project and its affiliated NGP Action Fund — set up for her 2018 run for governor. It was eventually fined $300,000 for failing to disclose millions in contributions, failing to register properly, and sixteen violations of campaign laws. Its main purpose was providing jobs for an army of activists. One question that might have been asked: how many of Stacey Abrams’ books were purchased by The New Georgia Project, juicing her royalties?
· The Southern Economic Advancement Project, founded in 2019 to “promote equity” in twelve southern states, paid Stacey a $700,000 annual salary.
· The Fair Fight Action group raised nearly $62 million in dark pool donations by 2022, with 96-percent from 252 large, unidentified donors.
· The Fair Count Project was created to lobby for counting illegal aliens in the 2020 US Census, in order to pad state congressional districts.
· The Third Sector Development group, created as an “incubator” for other groups (including the New Georgia Project).
· The Fair Fight 2020 group, created to “train voter protection teams” in twenty “battleground states.” That is, ballot harvesting.
Out of the $27-billion from “Joe Biden’s” Inflation Reduction Act sent to EPA in 2024, $2-billion from the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF) ended up in the Stacey-associated Rewiring America org and its offshoot the Power Forward Communities org. Stacey was listed as “senior counsel” to Rewiring America, which also happened to “partner” with her prior NGOs Fair Count and Southern Economic Advancement Project.
What you might surmise from all this is that “Joe Biden’s” green energy agenda was used as a green smokescreen for a giant patronage racketeering operation. The billions allocated would go ostensibly to innumerable corporations set up to carry-out “green” good deeds, most of which would never actually happen, but would, along the way, pad thousands upon thousands of bank accounts for favored contractors.
Stacey’s Power Forward Communities NGO was incorporated in the state of Delaware where loose corporate governance requires such orgs to pay out only five percent of the org’s funds to its stated mission recipients each year. The rest of the $2-billion not allocated to staff salaries can be socked away in safe investments garnering, say, $50-million-a-year in returns, which can be rolled back into the org and used for spinning out new NGOs with more paid staff positions. . .grift upon grift. . . .
The difference now is that the Democratic Party no longer has its hands on the levers of power. Different managers are in place at the critical agencies, most particularly Pam Bondi at DOJ, Kash Patel at the FBI, Russell Vought at OMB, Lee Zeldin at EPA, and Elon Musk in the DOGE. In the past, nothing was done about these shenanigans. This time is different. The Democratic Party will lose its principal means for staying alive. That’s why senators like Chuck Schumer, Chris Coons, and Adam Schiff are out mewling and hollering in the streets. Meanwhile, the blob is getting methodically disassembled, one bureaucratic office at a time. Before much longer we are going to be a different country, and most probably a better one.
https://www.kunstler.com/p/funny-money
@Floyd – read some of the DOGE savings, the award recipients look like carbon copies. Hopefully Bondi and Patel can recover money and reveal how many in government got kickbacks.
Honestly, I can not bring myself to look. It would probably just infuriate me, and at my age, I do not need any addtl stress. But I can just imagine, that it is terrible. I do question the wisdom of cutting the IRS staff, because it looks like there needs to be some major audits of these NGOs and shell companies.
I started looking, stopped when I saw 25M for Dept of Agriculture DEI support and training, and 31M for Dept Ed for info dissemination (paraphrasing). pissed me off to no end.
“I do question the wisdom of cutting the IRS staff, because it looks like there needs to be some major audits of these NGOs and shell companies.”
That seems to assume that there is no corruption among IRS auditors. I am only speculating, but that speculation is that such an assumption would most likely be highly inaccurate.
The IRS needs a couple of thousand people to deal with 95% of US tax revenue.
Everything beyond that is superfluous.
It is the DOJ that needs to deal with NGO’s receiving fraudulent payments.
Will that turn out to be another Mayor Adams?
As I recall, the Fair Fight non profit was used to funnel money to a pal’s law firm suing to overturn the 2918 GA Gubernatorial election. The suit ran till the month before the 22 election.
Why Stacey Abrams’ suit was allowed to run while Trump’s suit was strangled at birth must remain a mystery.
The clown show that is the Democrat Party and their propaganda MSM wing will never end. They have been the same people since I can remember back when I was in high school and college during the Reagan years. It’s just gotten much worse under TDS. Worse part is that their followers believe all of it without a second of critical thinking. Sad people and bad for the country.
Turley fails to mention Trump and friends attempting to pin the first crash on DEI, until that became more absurd with each crash. What role if any a shortage of personnel played in any crash will ultimately be revealed and it’s wrong to blame Trump without evidence. It’s super hypocritical for Turley to condemn Democrats for linking Trump to the accidents while saying nothing about Trump who threw the first totally false stone.
How diversity politics undermined federal air traffic control skills-based testing
“A lawsuit that has flown under the radar for years shows how the Federal Aviation Administration undermined a skills-based test to help select air traffic controllers in an effort to promote workforce diversity.”
“In December 2013, thousands of students who had participated in the FAA’s Collegiate Training Initiative (CTI)—a program specifically designed to prepare individuals to become Air Traffic Control Specialists—were informed that their previous scores on a cognitive and skills-based test—known as the AT-SAT—would be discounted. Instead, these students would have to pass a biographical survey before retaking the cognitive portion of the test.”
The evidence has been there for some time.

and
#74. The effort is to destroy the US. It doesn’t matter how many die.
The effects of DEI on safety occur over time. In air traffic control, the precise moment when these effects become evident is unpredictable due to built-in redundancies. These redundancies create a buffer and delay noticeable consequences until a critical threshold is reached. Until that point, the risks statistically await the system’s failure when it can no longer compensate for DEI’s lesser abilities.
She as a He flew upside down and into the ground, there is no denying and no further lying
That He ended his career with his crack up…
Why were the social media posts of the lesbian pilot and her family scrubbed; why was that allowed?
Air traffic controller shortage of 3,800 due to DEI practices cutting ‘too white, too elite’ candidates
https://nypost.com/2025/02/10/us-news/air-traffic-controller-shortage-of-3800-due-to-dei-practices/
The intersectional Black Supremacist Marxist Uncle Tom, enigmainblackcom, desperately hopes he can convince the audience Bribery Biden DIDN’T mandate DEI hiring replace meritocracy when hiring air traffic controllers and FAA employees. Leading to a dangerous shortage of air traffic controllers in control towers, with those on duty chronically overworked.
The Oval Office House Plant, formerly known as President Daddy-Daughter Inappropriate Incest Showers, is no longer decorating the Oval Office. But enigmainblack is still serving as his Uncle Tom, promoting his dangerous DEI hiring that replaced meritocracy hiring.
Enigmainblackcom… tell us how competent the former DEI Hire Transportation Secretary, the former failed small city mayor Pothole Pete, who became The Reverend Mrs. Pete Buttagieg was in hiring and training sufficient numbers of qualified air traffic controllers?
Anything better than the Marxist black racist war cry, BBBUUUUTTTTT…. MUH TRUMP!!!!!!
“Turley fails to mention Trump and friends attempting to pin the first crash on DEI, until that became more absurd with each crash.”
An inexperienced pilot was tasked with extremely important flights through the most difficult and dangerous air corridor in the US.
And on a training flight made an error that cost 67 people their lives.
Sure sounds like DEI to me.
You rant about cutting people. But musk is right – to the best of our ability we must return to the primarily merit based system that has served us for 250 years. And we ESPECIALLY must do so for dangerous and critical tasks.
The left Rants about ATC. We do not need MORE Air Traffic Controllers – we need Highly skilled air traffic controllers.
I have nothing against the blackhawk pilot that killed 67 people. I do not care about her sex, skin color, or sexual orientation.
What I care about is that she had 500 hours of experience before being assigned to fly critial govenrment officials throught he most dangerous air corridor in the US in an emergency. There are myriads of tasks in the military that she was more than qualifed for.
This was not one of those.
Everyone who is qualified to fly a light plane is not qualified to fly a commerical airliner.
Everyone qualified to fly in the military is not qualified to fly a spacecraft.
We do not have to have the best of the best in every job. We do have to have the best of the best in the critical jobs.
Was this a DEI problem ? I have no idea. Was it a mistake in hiring that lead to 57 deaths – absolutely.
If Trump wishes to call it a DEI mistake – I am fine with that – and so are most americans.
From the night of the accident through to today – one thing has remained true as we have learned more and more.
An insufficiently experienced pilot was 125 ft above where she was supposed to be and 67 people died as a result.
And it is worse. She asked the ATC for to go VFR – which means SHE was responsible for everything.
She was TOLD where the CJ was and claimed she saw it and that was clearly wrong.
Highly experienced people make mistakes.
But they make them far less than inexperienced people.
” What role if any a shortage of personnel played in any crash will ultimately be revealed”
No that is already known. While the Tower made a couple of mistakes – as someone else noted these problems do not occur without multiple mistakes. The Tower made 3 mistakes.
First the supervisor sent on ATC home which they should not have done. They CHOSE to be understaffed – it had nothing to do with firing anyone.
Next the ATC gave the Blackhawk pilot permission to go VFR – that was not a wise choice – but it makes the Blackhawk pilot entirely responsible.
And last the ATC changed runways for the CJ which resulted in the two aircraft crossing each other, which would not have happened otherwise.
None of the ATC problems was in and of itself fatal. Together all of them were not fatal. But they did give the Blackhawk pilot enough rope to hang herself. That is on her. She chose to fly VFR – probably with Night vision goggles on – that is likely but has not been established yet.
She said she had the CJ in sight when she did not.
She flew 125ft higher than she was allowed to in a congested airspace.
“while saying nothing about Trump who threw the first totally false stone.”
Trumps stones have been on target.
The blackhawk was 125ft too high and the pilot was inexperienced.
We do not YET no for certain why an inexperienced pilot was assigned a very difficult and dangerous route.
But we can all guess.
There’s no democrat spin because there is no democrat party. The current “party” is made up groups of envious hater’s controlled by corrupt politicians who stoke their hatred and envy for their gain. As long as the AOC, Schumer, Schiff, Crockett, Swalwell types are elected and dominate the “party” there is no “party”. Has anyone noticed how Auntie Nancy has gone quiet, did she break her hip or her jaw?
“Auntie Nancy has gone quiet, did she break her hip or her jaw?”
I have a sneaking suspicion that “Auntie Nancy” knows far too much about the innermost workings of the Deep State, and has been “advised” that it would be best for her health, and that of her family, to keep her yap completely shut.
Like blaming the Florida Department of Transportation and Governor DeSantis for bad road conditions in Iowa. Brilliant!
Welllllll, both states end with the letter A, both have agricultural industry, both have the letter i in their names, and both have sunlight shine on their states, so it follows
Liberal Democrat Rex Teixeira explains how bad Democrats are right now. How bad? Worse than they realize. Read the entire article but here is an excerpt
One Simple Question for Democrats
Democrats are roaming in the political wilderness and seem bewildered on how to find their way out. More resistance? More moderation? More lawfare? More denunciations of fascism/authoritarianism/lawlessness? Look for ways to compromise? Don’t look for ways to compromise? Shut down the government? Don’t shut down the government? Better messaging of Democratic positions? Actually change Democratic positions? It’s all so confusing!
It needn’t be. There’s one simple question—a sort of test—that would illuminate the path forward for Democrats.
What would the working class say (WWWCS)?
The WWWCS test is not so hard to do but it does entail getting outside of the liberal college-educated bubble so many Democrats live within, particularly as experienced on social media, in activist circles and within advocacy, nonprofit, media and academic institutions. Look at actual public opinion data—not as summarized by someone you know or something you read. Look at focus group reports. Talk to actual working-class people—there are lots of them! Listen to your intuitions about how working-class people would likely react to policies and rhetoric currently associated with the Democrats —not how you think they should react. Think of family members or people you grew up with who are working class. Try to get inside their heads. They are less ideological, more focused on material concerns, more likely to be struggling economically, less interested in cutting edge social issues, more patriotic and generally more culturally conservative. All this makes a difference.
…
The Republicans have abundant pickup opportunities in low-education, working class heavy states while Democratic opportunities are slimmer and generally involve knocking off Republicans in the same kind of low-education states. This is daunting to say the least.
….I trust these data and charts have shown you that the Democrats’ working-class situation is not as bad as you thought—it’s worse! And, dare I say it, it could be even worser. That’s because Democrats’ loss of working-class support is intimately bound-up with the country’s move into a new political era that Democratic elites seem utterly clueless about.
https://substack.com/home/post/p-157523749
Democrats today: “What the f*** is the working class? theyre garbage, deplorables, hillbillies, uneducated, illiterate, racists, misogynists, etc, etc, etc”
Estovir,
First, I like your link the two states Democrat logic example.
Second, yes. That is how Democrats see the working class. They are the elite party, who just stares down at us from the gated communities and think all should just blindly give them their votes. Look at all the smears at JD Vance for his book. Yet they ignore through hard work, dedication he got himself out of that situation, former Marine, got a degree, became a lawyer, married with two kids and now the VP of the United States.
Is this what MAGA is looking for by getting rid of our world class national health agencies?
“In the early 20th century, the American South was crawling with intestinal hookworms. Some initial surveys in the 1930s suggested nearly 54 percent of the population was infected, with prevalence in some areas as high as 76 percent. Through concerted deworming efforts and improved hygiene, the worms were largely flushed out over the subsequent decades. But as one medical editorial put it in 2017: We still got ’em. That year, a study detected genetic traces of N. americanus in the stool of more than a third of people tested in an impoverished community in Lowndes County, Alabama. In Lowndes, approximately 50 percent of households have failing or no sewage systems.”
Is this what MAGA is looking for by getting rid of our world class national health agencies?
When did Democrat groomer commies think that our national health agencies are ‘world class’ while they keep telling the world that boys can menstruate and get pregnant?
When they repeatedly claimed that Fauci Social Distancing and Masks on/Masks off/Double Masked were world class science based?
This is what Democrats Speaking Democrat Marxist Truths looks like in living color!
We’ve become a society that does nothing but argue back and forth. Look at the one line insults back and forth in here, over and over. Its the same thing Clinton did when she accused Trump of being responsible for the crash, its not about facts or reality.
Its about “having a retort” to whatever it is the other guy is saying.
Doesn’t matter what the retort is. Doesn’t matter if the guy saying something said something easily verifiable and factual.
All that matters to almost EVERYONE now, is being able to come back and say “nuh uh” somehow, without worrying about if they’re actually saying anything that is in any way based in reality. All that matters is the “nuh uh”.
In here its infantile, they way they cajole and heckle like ignorant 3rd graders tossing out insults and denials ad nauseum, until they effectively silence or drive off any actual commenters in here, allowing the blog comments to fill up with juvenile back and forth slurs and insults.
In real life, people like Clinton sit at a microphone and just toss out things that have no basis in reality like trying to blame a plane crash on Donald Trump his first week in office.
Debate is no longer debate. No one can be persuaded by reason or arguments, at least on the left and many on the right. Even Trump was guilty of tossing out erroneous accusations at his opponents that had no basis in reality, although this time around he’s wrangled that wilder side of himself and is paying more attention to the things he says.
But most people are not interested in the facts as much as they are as interested in “countering” any point that contradicts a position, fact or idea they’ve put forth.
The LGBTQWhatever community are champions at this. That’s all they do. They have no concern for reason or reality or even differing opinions, for them its “snap the fingers” together, laugh, mock and ridicule and shout down any conservative or others who may call out some of their ridiculous nonsense. They literally just shout louder, snap the fingers, say stupid things to cheer up their own speakers like “you go girl” and all that nonsense when in fact, their “girl” didn’t say squat.
But they applaud like he\she\it did.
Its all about the retort. The “nuh-uh”.
The Trump administration is putting forth some of the most clear, articulate and frank individuals to expose govt corruption, squandering and misappropriation of funds. In 4 short weeks they’ve exposed millions in waste, fraud and neglect. But the people on the other side are not going to look at DOGE and say, ..”oh wow so Social Security was funneling payments to non-existent persons?”.
No instead they’re simply out online, on the news, …everywhere, …saying a massive, mighty collective, … “nuh-uh”.
They don’t want facts. They don’t want reality.
They just say “nuh-uh” and dismiss reason in the process.
Chris Weber,
Great comment! They also cannot, will not and will absolutely refuse to acknowledge anything good the Trump admin might be doing. Like securing the border. Getting us and the world out of the stupid and insane WWIII game of chicken and talking peace. Finding and cutting fraud, waste and abuse.
You said,
“Its about “having a retort” to whatever it is the other guy is saying.
ABSOLUTELY!
Trump and Musk are cutting FAA air safety people, those who maintain the radar systems, and other people who are responsible for safety for our aviation industry. This is at the same time when aviation safety is a growing concern due to a series of crashes.
“The cuts do not affect us. I’ve been in close communication with the Secretary of Transportation. I understand that the, the cuts at this time are something that are raising questions, but the reality is there’s over 50,000 people that work at the FAA. And the cuts, I understand, were 300 people, and they were in non-critical safety functions.
The Trump administration has committed to investing deeply in terms of improving the overall technologies that are used in the air traffic control systems and modernizing the skies. They’ve committed to hiring additional controllers and investigators, and safety and investigators. So no, I’m not concerned with that at all.”
— Ed Bastian, Delta CEO
This would be a moment when the narrative runs into reality.
Trump said something, and your “independent” verification of the truth of that statement is someone else saying what Trump said. MAGA stupidity has no lower bound.
My source and verification is someone who is in the airline industry, is well aware of issues, knows of the actual facts on the ground, has actually spoken with the Secretary of Transportation vs MSM/DNC screaming and talking points.
“. . . is someone else saying . . .”
That “someone else” (who for some odd reason you didn’t name) is the CEO of America’s second largest airline. I suspect he knows a bit more than you do about his industry.
Clarity is when you can’t miss the obvious: Franke now admits that aviation safety has been a growing concern over the entire time of the four years of The Oval Office House Plant’s administration.
But no complaints from Franke during that time about this issue, and that whoever Anonymous was actually filling in as president or the administration Transportation Secretary were doing nothing about it.
Except for instituting DEI as the measure for hiring for the FAA, of course. That’s how you solve aviation safety concerns – DEI Hires chosen from the ranks of the Woke Marxist Useful Idiots.
So, no, Trump and Musk are not doing the things claimed in Franke’s lie. But Frankie, don’t let that stop you from repeating that lie straight from the brown-stained lips of Pothole Pete, the failed small city mayor who was the former Transportation Secretary, brought to us in the form of being the first FAA DEI Hire, The Reverend Mrs. Pete Buttagieg.
That would be the Transportation Secretary that went Missing In Action for MONTHS on “Maternity Leave”.
And with all those rampant safety concerns you mention, nobody in the administration of The Oval Office House Plant even noticed he was missing from his job.
Lack of major crashes was a factor for me not to consider it a pressing issue.
Lack of major crashes was a factor for me not to consider it a pressing issue.

How Many Plane Crashes in the United States in 2024?
https://flyfreshflight.com/how-many-plane-crashes-in-2024-usa/
The year 2024 saw a total of 13 fatal plane crashes in the United States, resulting in the deaths of 155 people. This number is down from the previous year, which saw 15 fatal crashes and 171 deaths.
Southern Airlines crash with fatalities ISN’T a major airline crash?
American Airlines crash with fatalities ISN’T a major airline crash?
Franke, are you Gigi’s twin sister with a better grasp of paragraph structure?
I would be shocked to find that radar systems are not maintained by contracts with those who make them.
While the number of deaths in the blackhawk CJ incident has not occured in more than a decade, the number of incidents is actually at a low.
The media is just focused on them because “orange man bad”
Poor Hillary — a bitter old lady. Poor Schumer, a ineffective old man. Poor Elizabeth Warren, a bull horn of hysteria. And Eric Swalwell – their resident idiot. Poor man for not understanding he is being used. And the list goes on … Not one of these people see the American people as fellow citizens but as people to manipulate — just numbers as they try to hold onto power. If they at least made an attempt to work with Trump, it would show good faith to the American people. Sadly, this is not the way of the Left.
“The less talent they have, the more pride, vanity and arrogance they have. All these fools, however, find other fools who applaud them.”

So, who elected these people….?!
There is a great deal of hysteria by Democrats re: everything but especially NIH funding. The following video demonstrates why cutting NIH funding is crucial. The last 5 mins explain succinctly but watch entire video even if it is complex jargon. Get the main points, ignore the minutiae
