Switzerland was famous (or infamous) for staying neutral in World War II. It simply would not take a side between the Nazis and the rest of the world. However, when it comes to free speech, Switzerland has declared war on anyone who challenges certain orthodox positions, including gender policies. Just ask Emanuel Brünisholz.Brünisholz is reportedly about to start a 10-day prison stint due to his voicing skepticism about claims that skeletons are transgender.
There is very little coverage of this story. Free speech cases are often downplayed by European media. So, we have only limited information coming from conservative sites.
In 2022, he responded to a Facebook post by Swiss National Council member Andreas Glarner on the controversy. Some, including academics in the United States, are now claiming that you really cannot gauge the sex of individuals from their skeletons.
The wind-instrument repairman thought that such claims were unfounded and posted a comment that said, “If you dig up LGBTQI people after 200 years, you’ll only find men and women based on their skeletons. Everything else is a mental illness promoted through the curriculum.”
Brünisholz then received a knock on his door from the Burgdorf police and then a prosecution letter for engaging in “hate speech” and “publicly belittling” comments based on sexual orientation under the Swiss Criminal Code. He was convicted and fined 500 Swiss Francs.
If true, this sounds like just another absurd use of a criminal charge to silence those with opposing views. However, a court actually convicted him and then another court upheld the conviction. He was ordered to pay a fine or go to jail. He is now going to jail for simply expressing his view, a view supported by many scientists and citizens.
“LGBTQI means lesbian, gay, bi, transgender, queer and intersex, and denotes therefore different sexual orientations. It’s a loose group of people who consider themselves a part of the aforementioned sexual orientations. Therefore, LGBTQI is a group of people with specific sexual orientations.”
The case is only the latest example of how free speech is in a free fall in Europe. I spoke in Berlin at the World Forum, where European leaders gathered in one of the most strikingly anti-free speech conferences I have attended. This year’s forum embraced the slogan “A New World Order with European Values.” That “new world order” is based on an aggressive anti-free speech platform that has been enforced for years by the European Union.
Many Americans are allied with the EU and attempting to introduce such anti-free speech laws in the United States. Others are speaking in Europe and inviting the EU to hit U.S. companies with sanctions for failing to censor Americans.
Yet, there remain brave free speech advocates and groups still struggling to restore this indispensable right to their countries. By going to jail, Brünisholz is bringing needed attention to the crackdown on free speech in that country. Despite the disgraceful role of the courts in this effort, citizens like Brünisholz show that the cause of free speech is alive in Europe.

We’re getting there and ironically the failing “free press” is critically responsible. This year a member elected to the city council in Berkeley (free speech movement and all that?) was terrorized into resigning from the council (because the Antifoids felt he was not aggressive enough in his condemnations of Israel). There was NO news about this reported anywhere but the local Berkeleyside website. His name is Rigel Robinson you can web search and verify this for yourself. No California Attorney General investigation, maybe I’ll write the US DOJ and see is they might care though I know they busy. But an elected official driven from office-sounds like a “crisis of democracy”?

Actually I’d say this is the opposite of the Nazis, who wouldn’t have tolerated (with good reason) the transgender craze. They burned down Magnus Hirchfeld’s institute that was pushing transgenderism and probably saved us nearly 80 years of problesm.
Yes, the NSDAP would not have tolerated the transgender craze at all. However, neither would the pre-WW1 governments. People forget that the German state and the preceding principalities like Bavaria had censorship laws, secret police that would track down subversives, etc. It’s a sad reflection on the state of modern education that all Americans can do is trot out the word “Nazi”. If it wasn’t in a cartoon they don’t know about it.
Anatomy students all learn the differences in hip structure between women and men. The “pelvic angle” is wider with women, the hips are much wider — there are many differences. The wide hips are further reflected in the insanely large quadriceps muscles women can be known for. The quads attach to the outside of the hips, so wide hips = huge quads.
These people put us in global gulags or we put an end to them. It’s one or the other.

The “Doctor” got laughed at as he insisted that you couldn’t tell what gender the skeleton was 100 years in the future by looking at the bones. Gaines put him in his place.

Perhaps would have avoided jail time if he had used mental or societal construct instead of mental illness. Corrupt politicians selling out to the “Dark Side” have imposed a neomoral paradigm on society masquerading it as human rights when it comes to abortion, euthanasia, and LGBTQ lifestyles.

Brünisholz’s comment that male and female skeletons are clearly different was not what Switzerland’s woke ‘authorities’ were upset about. Rather it was Brünisholz’s assertion that, skeleton’s aside, “Everything else is a mental illness promoted through the curriculum.”

Not only can you determine sex from the skeleton, you can to a certain extent determine ethnicity. Whites have curved femurs while blacks femurs are straight. Throwing someone in jail for knowing facts is the epitome of liberal stupidity.
There is NO SUCH THING as “trans”gender.
Gender, a person’s sex, is based in biology and genetics. It is literally DNA deep and is immutable. It is set at conception, and does not change for the life of the person. You do not and can not change your gender. Even if you decide to claim, dress up, or in other ways modify your appearances to pretend you are a different gender, all you have done is to pretend.
We are blessed to have the First Amendment. Anyone can tell if the person in front of them is a man or a woman by watching them walk.
What a silly argument. I was a practicing radiologist forty years; it is trivial to determine sex from the skeleton. The pelvic inlets are dramatically different; the female’s is rounded – precisely the shape needed for delivering a child. The male’s is more heart-shaped.
