“It’s Not Going to End Well for Them”: Susan Rice Joins Call for a Revenge Purge After Democrats Re-Take Power

As Democrats plan for the possible takeover in the midterms and 2028 election, they are already openly discussing their push for radical changes in our political system, including packing the Supreme Court to guarantee that those changes are allowed. Many are also pledging trials, impeachments, and investigations of anyone who supported President Donald Trump in a purging of politics and government. The latest to join the revenge purge pledge is Susan Rice, Democratic powerbroker and top policy adviser to both President Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

In an interview this week, Rice declared that supporters of Trump can expect the proverbial knocks on their doors: “A very prominent public figure, who has served at nearly the very highest levels, once told me … ‘Revenge is best served cold,’ and the older I get, the more I see the wisdom of that.”

She added:

When it comes to the elites, you know, the corporate interests, the law firms, the universities, the media … it’s not going to end well for them, for those that decided that they would act in their perceived very narrow self-interest, which I would underscore, is very short-term self-interest, and, you know, take a knee to Trump.

The promise to crackdown on political opponents is hardly unexpected in this age of rage. Indeed, Democrats can point to the purging of the federal ranks, particularly at the Justice Department, as further justification for a tit-for-tat response.

Democratic politicians and pundits have been fueling the anger of their base with ludicrous claims that democracy is about to die since the 2020 election. They have now used anti-ICE protests to stoke the anger in the hope that it will return them to power in the midterm elections.

Bravo star and liberal podcast host Jennifer Welch praised footage of a “No Kings” protester celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk. After playing the clip, Welch laughed with joy and declared, “So listen up, Democratic establishment. You can either jump on board with this s—, or we’re coming after you in the same way that we come after MAGA. Period.”

The pledge for revenge purges is an obvious way to further motivate a mob. In my book, Rage and the Republic, I discuss how elected officials often try to enlist mobs to advance their political agendas — only to be consumed by the unrest they helped fuel. This yielding to a “mobocracy” was one of the critical dangers that the Framers sought to deter through protections against majoritarian tyranny.

It is a history that figures like Rice are ignoring in the hope of riding this rage wave back into power. The fact is that history has shown that “it’s not going to end well” for establishment figures like Rice who believe that they can control a mob.

  1. Both Democrats and Republicans need to go sit in a corner. So tired of both parties and their shenanigans. “A republic, Madam, if you can keep it.” As far as I can tell, those in power want to keep it to themselves and do not want us to actually be a republic.

  2. OT: The leader, #1 in government debt is the United States of America 🇺🇸 old glory. Hey, Gorsuck, Roberts if that ain’t an emergency I don’t know what is.

They beat you up, rob you and as a thanks they break your bones. Tariffs regulate imports and exports.

38 trillion can’t be paid back in a hundred years. God bless ya.

    1. Anon, you apparently don’t know what court packing even means. It means increasing the number of judges. FedSoc does not do that.

  3. To me, personally, it makes perfect sense to cite how 2 people were forced to stay in America (against their will mind you!) and omit the fact that my head bashing in with a rock killed me. It was a bloody, ugly mess. I much rather have my head reduced to bloody pulp, like President John F. Kennedy’s, than to be stuck inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues again. You too, I bet.

  4. Notice the love and appreciation for slick and his minions responsible for the slaughter of 800,000 innocent blacks.

  5. After playing the clip, Welch laughed with joy and declared, “So listen up, Democratic establishment. You can either jump on board with this s—, or we’re coming after you in the same way that we come after MAGA. Period.”

French Revolution and the Jacobins all over led by the Democrat Party.

    1. More like Caligula (‘Little Boot’) and the fall of the Roman-American Empire .. .

*note. criticism of Caligula is not the same thing as support for the useless&worthless Democrats.

    2. That’s exactly what it is – Jacobins at the gate – at least give Susan Rice credit-she said the quiet part out loud.

  6. Because Democrats have no policies which appeal to a majority of Americans, because they have no record of successful governance to highlight, they have to resort to threats of violence. Look at all the 80/20 issues they’ve been on the short side of this last 13 months. Dem leaders are so reflexively anti-Trump they won’t listen to their own constituents.

    1. Democrats think men can give birth, they won’t say “breastfeeding” insisting it’s “chestfeeding,” they won’t say woman insisting it’s “menstruating person” or “birthing person,” and they want biological males in women’s sports, locker rooms, and showers. They want mediocre male athletes beating the crap out of women in competitive sports and depriving women of scholarship opportunities. They favor terrorist atrocities over the victims of those atrocities. They favor sexual mutilation of children, and having school districts hide children’s transitions from parents. They want to defund the police and erase our national borders. They are in the thrall of a destructive climate cult. They are cultists. They are literally, and certifiably, insante. They are lunatics.

      1. Historically, the concept of “democracy” was never intended to be a universal right, but rather a high-stakes responsibility reserved for those with a “vested interest” in the state. By applying the 1788 standard of £50 ($14,000) to today’s data, we see that only 38% of Americans would qualify for this “exclusive democracy.” From the perspective of the Founders and the Greeks, this isn’t a failure of representation, but a safeguard for the Republic; it ensures that the Constitution and Bill of Rights are curated by a segment of society that has demonstrated the rationality, ambition, and financial independence necessary to resist demagoguery and maintain long-term stability.

  7. “During her tenure as Domestic Policy Advisor from 2021 to 2023, Susan Rice was highlighted in reports examining the Biden administration’s extensive use of autopens—automated devices for signing documents. Rice was closely associated with major policy initiatives, including loan forgiveness programs, that were signed via autopen, sometimes late at night while President Biden was away in Delaware. Critics framed this practice as an “autopen-ocracy,” raising concerns that key policies and executive actions, including the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, were being executed without the president’s direct oversight. While autopens are standard in modern administrations, the scrutiny of Rice centers on the unusually high volume and speed of their use.”

“The reasonable conclusion is that Susan Rice played an active and central role in the administration’s high-volume use of the autopen. She was closely involved in processing significant policy initiatives, such as loan forgiveness and other executive actions, and was a key figure managing or facilitating documents signed in the president’s absence. While the use of autopens itself is not unusual, her participation appears to have been notable for the frequency, scope, and political visibility of the actions she oversaw.”

  8. In case we forget, Susan Rice was at the center of the attempt to blame the 9/11/16 attack on Benghazi, which caused the deaths of four Americans, including the Ambassador to Libya, on an amateur American filmmaker who had dared to make an anti-Muslin documentary. https://www.foxnews.com/us/blamed-for-benghazi-filmmaker-jailed-after-attack-now-lives-in-poverty-fear
It will be recalled that Hillary Clinton ignored warnings of danger to the Banghzai embassy, removed protections thereof to avoid causing offence, and who, when the attack began, buried her head in the sand and let the American personnel be murdered without any response. The next day Susan Rice was on TV blaming the aforesaid filmmaker for the attacks.
The tragedy at Benghazi threw a light on the recklessness and incompetence of the Obama Administration. But even more troubling was the effort of those people to shift the blame for their recklessness and incompetence to an ordinary American. This was not enough for Susan Rice. She followed up the Banghazi lie with the hiding from the American people the mental condition of Joe Biden.
