It appears that nothing says “saving Democracy” like a good old-fashioned military coup. A new survey from the Center for Strategic Politics found that 59 percent of Democrats would favor a military coup to remove President Donald Trump from office. All it took was four years out of power for these Democratic voters to embrace a coup d’état to negate the results of the last election. What is particularly chilling is that many of these voters still portray themselves as defending democracy by calling for a military takeover. It is akin to supporting drive-by shootings to combat gun violence. That is not the only shocker in this survey.According to the Center, roughly six in 10 (59%) Democrats polled said they would feel “very positive” or “somewhat positive” if the US military removed Trump and seized control of the American government.
The vast majority, of course, would be happy if Trump were impeached and removed from office (87%) or ousted by his cabinet via the 25th Amendment (84%).
The survey also shows the same overwhelming support for socialism in the new Democratic Party. What is surprising is the support for public ownership of industries. That includes almost half (46%) supporting public ownership and operation of grocery stores. Almost 40 percent support public ownership and operation of restaurants. (39%).
I have previously said that I do not recognize the current Democratic Party as someone raised in a politically active and liberal Democratic family. I first became estranged from the party over the radical shift from a pro-free speech party to one that supported censorship and speech curtailment.
Despite many who claim that the Democratic Socialists represent a small fraction of the party, these polls show a consistent and growing majority in support of socialism.
The addition of support for a military coup shows the manifestation of a rage addiction in America. Democratic leaders are now calling for trashing core constitutional institutions or values. When some of us criticized moves to pack the Supreme Court, leaders like Kamala Harris and Gavin Newsom accused us of engaging in mere “nostalgia.”
It is the same “nostalgia” that leaves many of us shocked at the support for a military coup. On our 250th anniversary, we face yet again Benjamin Franklin’s warning that this is a Republic if we can keep it.

Polls: Support For War Plunging
A CNN poll conducted by SSRS of 1,206 U.S. adults nationwide found that support for the war among self-identified Republicans has dropped by more than 10 percentage points since March.
Six months ago, 73 percent of surveyed Republicans approved of Trump’s handling of the conflict, but that number has since dropped to 60 percent.
A Fox News poll of 1,211 registered voters nationwide conducted Sept. 11-14 found that 71 percent of voters think Trump doesn’t have a clear strategy for ending the war.

In the last few days a number of news stories claim Republican senatorial candidates are distancing from Trump.
So the poll question is if they “would support the removal of Trump”….wait for the whole question, “Would they would support the removal of Trump…” WAIT! “Would they…” Wait for it! “Would they would support the removal of Trump by military coup?” ok NOW vote in the poll. sheesh.

In case you missed it among the post heading,summary,and analysis, the poll asked: “If you woke up tomorrow morning and saw the following news headlines, how would you feel?”
Yeah sure dumbocrats, try and get that on the next ballot and you can vote for your coup.
I think a military coup against Pres. Trump is unlikely, and certainly hope that the percentage of generals and colonels (many times when a coup d’etat happens, colonels prove more dangerous to the country’s liberties than generals) is so infinitesimally small that intentions and the conspiracy would be leaked before “action” began. If it happened it would very likely turn our current cold civil war hot, and regardless of the outcome of that, would result in the fall of the United States into a second-rate power or even the Western equivalent of a poor third world $#!†hole. God [said not in vain] save us from an escape of the military from civilian control.
Once again, the good professor is just pointing out how what was once a fringe idea, an idea that would of been consider absurd ten, twenty years ago, is gaining popularity in the Democrat party.
And the trolls come out in force in attempts to defect from the topic.
Thing is, this is not just some one off. The good professor has been pointing out the stupid and crazy as Bill Maher has too, for years. It is no longer just some small fringe group. The socialism mind think is gaining popularity. And the means by which they could accomplish socialism in America, is also gaining popularity. We hear them say it. We are hearing even establishment Democrats starting to “consider” it or some other mealy mouth acquiescent to appease this mob.
And now a poll shows a degree of Democrats would support various ways to remove Trump because . . . feelings.
Be careful where this goes Dems. You just might get everything you deserve.

There’s a reason why he didn’t link to the poll. Because it does not show what Turley claims it does. He’s relying on MAGA laziness and gullibility to spread some rage against Democrats. Yesterday, while greeting Xi Jinping, Trump visibly winced and grimaced as two B-1 bombers flew overhead during the playing of the National Anthem. Trump was saluting as the anthem played, but as the bombers flew overhead he visibly grimaced, clenched his teeth, and turned to look up at the planes while shaking his head. Xi stood motionless, without reaction.
Trump appeared to be very uncomfortable with the noise from the bombers.
