Vandal Wearing “UCLA Law” Sweater Destroys Pro-Life Display on Campus

We have been following a rise in political violence and property destruction on the left this year. The latest such example is from UCLA where a young man destroyed pro-life posters. This man is accused of previously stealing signs from the group and the group has posted images of the alleged perpetrator wearing a “UCLA Law” sweater.(Note: There has been no official determination or charge that this is the culprit by police).

“We Study Fascism…We’re Leaving the U.S.”: The NY Times Runs Video of Yale Professors Fleeing to Canada

The New York Times continues to work tirelessly to maintain the narrative that the United States is now a fascist regime. Earlier, the Times demonstrated its view of balanced analysis by running a collection of legal opinions titled “A Road Map to Trump’s Lawless Presidency.” Now, it is featuring three Yale professors fleeing fascism for the safety of Canada, making direct references to the rise of the Nazis. The video is titled “These Yale Professors Study Fascism.Continue reading ““We Study Fascism…We’re Leaving the U.S.”: The NY Times Runs Video of Yale Professors Fleeing to Canada”

Oregon Law Professor Accuses Oregon Law Review of Anti-Israeli Discrimination

The University of Oregon has long faced controversies over the alleged political bias on its campuses, including celebrating the career of a professor who physically attacked pro-life students as a model of activism. It has been criticized for monitoring off-campus speech and unconstitutionally censoring dissenting faculty. Now, Law Professor Ofer Raban is accusing the Law Review and school administrators of discriminating against an Israeli professor who was allegedly rejected for publication because of his association with an Israeli university. Brown University Threatens Disciplinary Action Against Student Journalist for Exposé on School Waste

Brown University is under fire after putting a student journalist under investigation for an exposé on alleged administrative waste. The DOGE-type review of  Alex Shieh embarrassed the school and certain officials. He was reportedly accused of falsely representing himself as a reporter because his newspaper, The Brown Spectator, is not a recognized student publication. The rationale seems strikingly weak and the investigation itself overtly retaliatory. The American Menace: Leading Liberals Call Upon Europeans to Resist the United States

Below is my column on Fox.com on the alliance of some on the American left with Europeans in combatting the United States as a menace to world order. From Hillary Clinton to Nina Jankowicz, Europeans are hearing tales of alarm and agony from liberals warning that the United States is a growing global threat.

Here is the column: Continue reading “The American Menace: Leading Liberals Call Upon Europeans to Resist the United States”

Back with a Vengeance: Nina Jankowicz Calls on Europeans to Oppose the United States

Nina Jankowicz, the former head of Biden’s infamous Disinformation Governance Board, was “back with a vengeance.” After the outcry over the board led to its elimination, Jankowicz did what many of the displaced disinformation experts have done: she peddled her dubious skills to Europeans and others like a wandering rōnin without a master. Now, Jankowicz has appeared before one of the most anti-free speech bodies in the world — the European Union — to call upon those 27 countries to fight against the United States, which she called a world threat. Crimson Chide: Harvard Makes the Case Against Itself

Below is my column in The Hill on Harvard faculty organizing in opposition to the Trump Administration’s measures targeting the university for failure to protect Jewish students and its lack of diversity of viewpoints on campus. Despite being a vocal critic of Harvard’s culture of orthodoxy, I have encouraged the Administration to moderate some of these measures and oppose the denial of tax-exempt status of the university. However, the Harvard faculty members may want to sit this one out. They are not helping their cause.

Here is the column:

“When Must We Kill Them?”: George Mason Student Captures the Growing Violent Ideation on the Left

There is controversy at George Mason University after Nicholas Decker, an economics PhD student published an essay asking “When Must We Kill Them?” in reference to Trump and his supporters. The essay captures the growing violent ideation on the left, fueled by rage rhetoric from politicians and commentators. The danger is that, for some on the extremes of our society, the question is not “when must we kill them?” but “when can we kill them?”

Washington State University Instructor Arrested for Allegedly Assaulting Trump Supporter

We have been following the rise of political violence on the left, particularly on our campuses. Some of this violence has been committed by faculty and administrators, as was recently the case at the University of Wisconsin. A video shows Washington State University instructor and PhD student Patrick Mahoney allegedly assaulting engineering student Jay Sani for wearing a Trump-related hat. “GEC is Dead”: Rubio Shuts Down Censorship Program that the Biden Administration Claimed was Ended

For years, I have written about the Global Engagement Center (GEC) in columns and my book, The Indispensable Right. It was one of the hubs of the censorship network under the Biden Administration, which claimed it was shut down after Congress cut off funding. However, Secretary of State Marco Rubio just announced that he has terminated the office, which was operating under a different name (a familiar tactic by the anti-free speech movement). Lincoln Memorial University Sanctions Student for Telling Trump Supporters to “Unfollow” Her

There is a disturbing free speech controversy at Lincoln Memorial University’s College of Veterinary Medicine after the school accused student Erin Lintag of violating the school’s code of conduct by telling President Donald Trump supporters to “unfollow” her. It is a direct assault on free speech and should be immediately withdrawn with a commitment to prevent such actions in the future. German Editor Sentenced and Fined for Satirical Picture of Interior Minister

We previously discussed the case of  Deutschland-Kurier editor David Bendels who published a satirical meme of Interior Minister Nancy Faeser holding an altered sign that read “I hate freedom of speech.” Ironically, the sign was believable given the anti-free speech positions of Faeser and the German government. Faeser, however, went ballistic. In a country that routinely arrests people for their views, the matter was immediately turned into a criminal investigation. In a decision that could easily have been rendered in China or Iran, a Bamberg district court in Bavaria sentenced Deutschland-Kurier editor David Bendels to seven months in prison on probation and a fine of nearly sixty percent of his annual income. It is only the latest evidence of the free fall of free speech in Germany. Continue reading “German Editor Sentenced and Fined for Satirical Picture of Interior Minister”
