  1. The current Polar Bear Population is at 25,000, in the 1960s it was at 5,000. That means that even if half the current population dies there will still be 2 and a half times as many polar bears as there were in 1965. Furthermore, over 2/3s of all Polar Bear Deaths are related to hunting, not global warming. Also the 2 subpopulations where there are definitive downward trends are in 2 locations where it has been getting colder.
