Hiram Monserrate attracted statewide attention in New York as one of the Democrats who defended “traditional marriage” and “family values” in recently voting down a bill that would have made same-sex marriage legal the state. His concept of family values was questioned after he was sentenced for assaulting his girlfriend Karla Giraldo. Monserrate slashed Giraldo’s face and dragged her through the lobby of his Queens apartment building. Good old family values from the Paleolithic Period.
Monserrate, an ex-Marine, was reportedly upset after he found another man’s business card in her purse. The glass broke against her face, cutting her near her left eye down to her skull and left a lasting scar.
He was originally charged with two felony counts and two misdemeanor counts of assault but acquitted him on the two felony assault charges. The evidence included a security video camera that showed Monserrate dragging Ms. Giraldo through the lobby of his apartment building and medical statements showing extensive bruises on her body.
He convicted on a single count of misdemeanor assault, which could carry a maximum of one year behind bars. But, as a first time offender, Queens Supreme Court Justice William Erlbaum gave Monserrate three years’ probation, 250 hours of community service and counseling

Unlike you bigot, I’m proud of my life and my honesty. Let me go further though, since in the past you have threatened me. I am not without my own resources or without my own friends and I would caution you to understand that while I’ve never been one to swat a fly with a hammer, I do believe in hoisting people on their own particular petards if they threaten me in any material way.
What this shows is how easy it is to get under your skin. The sad fact is that what angers you so much, is that what gets under your skin is people saying the truth about you. For some people like you, the truth about yourself would seem to be hard to accept.

Interesting the neverending troll just posted an off topic comments about Tiger Woods. Perhaps though if we look at it it really doesn’t fall far from this particular bad apple’s tree. Now let’s see, why would a purported black man hate the President and also seem fixated upon a black golpher with infidelity problems? Could it be an extension of his already proven bigotry, or is it self loathing? He has claimed to be “mixed race” but has not specified the supposed mixed racial makeup. He had proven to be a liar on many occasions, so perhaps the claim of racial mixture is yet another lie, done to hide his apparent prejudice.
Now he has also gone off into deep descriptions of homosexual practices in order to slander someone else connected to this administration. This too could be signs of self-loathing of his own sexual orientation. Who knows and in the end who cares? He has proven unable to add any original thoughts and unable to marshal any arguments worth debating. He has descended into classic trollery and exhibited not only bigotry, but if we remember has also been at times threatening, when frustrated. Unfortunately, frustration will continue to be his lot here since he is really out of his depth. This is not a factor of intelligence and/or education, but a factor of a mind that is
closed and unable to adequately react to the evidence of his own misguided nature.
Bdaman So Tiger Woods is another sports figure that needs treatment for various addictions, whatever. It is getting old.
