City Settles False Arrest Case of Married Grandmother

New York has settled a case were a Brooklyn grandmother who was walking to a hospital after an asthma attack was arrested for prostitution. Monica Gonzalez, 41, will receive $35,000.

What is most striking about this story is that the arresting officer, Sean Spencer, has been accused of abuses in at least four lawsuits and the city has already paid $80,000 to victims in those cases.

There is also a question of false statements filed by Spencer. He reportedly reported that Gonzalez beckoned to three men in the park and that he was aware that she was a known prostitute who had been previously arrested for solicitation. She had never been arrested on prostitution charges.

I view $35,000 as a tad low for such an abusive arrest, but I am unfamiliar with the range of prior such awards for Brooklyn.

  7. Your mother could be your sister if your father forced you into paternal incest, you became pregnant and gave birth to a bouncing baby girl. In this sick equation your daughter would also be your half sister, hence your daughters’ mother would be her half sister.

    In Arkansas or anywhere else, your sister could not be your mother. Your sister is a sibling. A sibling cannot also be your parent. You’re confused on the inbreeding family tree (is this an area that I want to claim to be knowledgeable of?) There’s several types of incest.

    In paternal or maternal incest, your sister can be your daughter. Your son can be your brother.

    In sibling incest (the most common in Arkansas and similar areas I’m told) the parents can also be aunts and uncles, so your mother could be your aunt, or your dad could be your uncle.

    And in the most rare of incestuous cases, i.e. with the grandparents (incest that skips a generation as it were) then if you were to have sex with your grandmother, and she gave birth to a little baby boy, then your bouncing new baby boy would be your uncle.

    Its all very psychiatric.
