An Islamic court in Nigeria has banned any debates on the use of amputations as punishment on Twitter, Facebook, or blogs to protect Islamic traditions from being mocked or disrespected.
The Sharia Court in Kaduna blocked the Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria from holding a forum on the anniversary of the introduction of amputations as punishment. The first such case was that of Malam Buba Bello Jangebe in 2000. He had stolen a cow.
The Sharia court ruled:”An order is hereby given restraining the respondents either by themselves or their agents from opening a chat forum on Facebook, Twitter, or any blog for the purpose of the debate on the amputation of Malam Buba Bello Jangebe.”

Failure To Tweet Puts Singer Justin Bieber’s Manager Under Arrest
“The manager of teen pop sensation Justin Bieber turned himself in to authorities Wednesday after he was arrested for refusing a cop’s order to tweet that an out-of-control appearance in Long Island, New York by the singer was called off…”
This may seem hard to believe, but it’s true: Justin Bieber’s manager has been arrested for NOT tweeting.

A-mocking and a-dissing islamic traditions?
Do they mean us?
I have hand baskets at the ready.
“[P]rotect Islamic traditions from being mocked or disrespected.”
As Westerner who has read some Sharia law as part of my comparative law studies, might I suggest that barbarism under the guise of legalism deserves nothing but mockery and disrespect.
And I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating: If your “god” can’t take a joke? Then he’s not much of a god now is he?
“An order is hereby given restraining the respondents either by themselves or their agents from opening a chat forum on Facebook, Twitter, or any blog for the purpose of the debate on the amputation of Malam Buba Bello Jangebe.”
The rest of the “Bull” reads, “nor may you blink, exhale, lose your traditional dress, touch the skin of a pig, or make babies.”
I here by tell you, you are an idiot and everything you say and do is idiotic. What does burning flesh smell like? Buddha, getting those hand baskets ready?
